Abstract

Today, the development of information technology is very fast. It is also followed by the growth of internet sites that are very fast, no exception the growth of sites contains pornographic. The Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII), in 2018, reports as many as 55.9% of Indonesian internet users had experienced of appearance pornographic content suddenly. This study aims to detect pornographic sites based on images using the convolutional neural network method. To find out the level of accuracy in detection of pornographic sites, a training process with a dataset of 300 images is required. From the test results, an accuracy rate of 85% in the detection of pornographic sites is obtained.

Abstract

Sasak Tribe possesses unique local wisdom which is potential to be utilized in term of improving students' care attitudes toward the environment. This study aimed at profiling students' evironmental attitudes who were taught using Sasak Tribe local wisdom-integrated model. This descriptive research was designed with a one-shot case study. The sample used in this study was 140 VII graders chosen using random sampling technique. The sample comprised of 3 classes of SMPN 2 Gunung Sari and 3 classes of SMPN 3 Lingsar placed in West Nusa Tenggara-Indonesia. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics in term of central tendency. The measured indicators were environmental awareness (EA), developing empathy (DE), and effect handling (EH). The results showed that the students live in suburb area tended to have better environmental care attitudes, in which the mean values were 86.66 (EA), 75.69 (DE), and 42.66 (EH) compared to those who live in urban area in which the mean values were 68.73 (EA), 57.07 (DE), and 30.62 (EH). Based on this findings, further evaluation in several aspects should be done.

Abstract

ANALYSIS OF STUDENT SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS THROUGH ECOLOGICAL PRACTICUMS AbstractThe study aims to analyze students' science process skills in ecology practical activities. The research subjects were 37 students. Data is collected through performance appraisals. The results showed that the science process skills of students were of high category. The score of observing activity skills was 11.49, formulating a problem of 10.59, identifying variables by 10.81, and making conclusions of 10.02. The skills scores for formulating hypotheses are high (10.47), but low in defining aspects of operational variables (6.19), designing experiments (6.53), and analyzing data/information (6.64). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the ecology practicum activities that have been carried out can improve the science process skills of prospective teacher students in the aspects of observing, formulating problem formulations, identifying variables, and compiling inferences. Based on these findings, several recommendations are stated, first; Science process skills (SPS) must be taught continuously to biology majors because they are a major part of the education curriculum. Also, it must focus more on integrated skills. Second, pay attention to low SPS student teacher candidates' still exists, so it needs to be trained intensively in the low SPS because the SPS (defining operational variables, designing experiments, and analyzing data) is an SPS that is closely related to knowledge formation and problem solving. AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan menganalisis keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pada kegiatan praktikum ekologi. Subjek penelitian 37 orang mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui penilaian kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa berkategori tinggi. skor keterampilan aktivitas mengamati sebesar 11,49, merumuskan masalah sebesar 10,59, mengidentifikasi variabel sebesar 10,81, dan membuat kesimpulan sebesar 10,02. Skor keterampilan untuk merumuskan hipotesis berkategori tinggi (10,47), tetapi rendah pada aspek mendefinisikan operasional variabel (6.19), mendesain eksperimen (6.53), dan menganalisis data/informasi (6.64). Berdasarkan temuan ini dapat disimpulkan kegiatan praktikum ekologi yang telah dilaksanakan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa calon guru pada aspek mengamati, menyusun rumusan masalah, mengidentifikasi variabel, dan menyusun inferensi. Selain itu juga, berdasarkan temuan ini dapat dinyatakan beberapa rekomendasi, pertama; keterampilan proses sains harus diajarkan secara terus-menerus untuk para guru jurusan biologi karena itu adalah bagian utama dari kurikulum pendidikan. Selain itu, harus lebih fokus pada keterampilan terintegrasi. Kedua; memperhatikan masih adanya KPS mahasiswa calon guru yang rendah, sehingga perlu dilatihkan secara intensif pada KPS yang rendah tersebut, karena KPS tersebut (mendefinisikan operasional variabel, mendesain eksperimen, dan menganalisis data), karena KPS tersebut merupakan KPS yang berkaitan erat dengan pembentukan pengetahuan dan penyelesaian masalah.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPermasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru MIPA di MAN 3 Lombok Tengah adalah kurang memahami bagaimana merancang dan menyusun perangkat pembelajaran (silabus, RPP, dan alat evaluasi) untuk melatihkan kesadaran metakognisi siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan secara instensif perancangan dan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari silabus, RPP, dan alat evalusi kesadaran metakognisi bagi guru MIPA di MAN 3 Lombok Tengah. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dengan serangkaian kegiatan IST (in service training) dan OST (on service training) serta implementasi untuk memastikan perangkat yang disusun dapat melatihkan kesadaran metakognisi siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelatihan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran melalui metode IST dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menganalisis perangkat pembelajaran, memahami penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, dan memahami model-model pembelajaran yang melatihkan kesadaran metakognisi dengan baik; dan (2) pelatihan guru dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yang membelajarkan kesadaran metakognisi siswa melalui metode OST dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun dan melaksanakan perangkat (silabus, dan RPP), merancang dan menyusun alat evaluasi, mengevaluasi hasil belajar siswa, dan mengevaluasi proses dan hasil belajar siswa dengan baik. Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaaran; metakognisi; kesadaran metakognisi. ABSTRACTThe main problem faced by Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in MAN 3 Central Lombok is not understanding how to design and compile learning tools (syllabus, lesson plans, and evaluation tools) to train students' metacognitive. This community service activity aims to provide intensive training on the design and preparation of learning tools consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, and metacognition awareness evaluation tools for Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers in MAN 3, Central Lombok. The training method used in these activities is carried out with a series of IST (in service training) and OST (on service training) activities as well as implementation to ensure that the devices arranged can train students' metacognitive awareness. The results of the activity show that (1) teacher training in arranging learning tools through the IST method can improve the teacher's ability to analyze learning tools, understand the preparation of learning tools, and understand learning models that train metacognitive awareness well; and (2) teacher training in compiling learning tools that teach students 'metacognitive awareness through the OST method can improve teachers' abilities in compiling and implementing tools (syllabus and lesson plans), designing and compiling evaluation tools, evaluating student learning outcomes, and evaluating processes and outcomes. students learn well. Keywords: Learning Media; metacognition; metacognitive awareness.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPandemi covid-19 telah membuat manusia  banyak menderita penyakit hingga meninggal dunia di berbagai belahan dunia. Konsumsi pangan fungsional dapat memberikan manfaat kesehatan fisiologis dalam melawan dan terlindungi dari covid-19. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengenalkan pangan fungsional untuk proyek independen KKN-Tematik dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Melalui kegiatan proyek independen, mahasiswa dapat merancang pangan fungsional berbasis potensi desa sebagai produk akhir inovatifnya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlangsung pada tanggal 9 dan 16 September 2021 secara luring dan daring dengan menggunakan metode knowledge rasfer dan  Community development. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan rubrik penilaian tugas dan angket persepsi mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa 1) mahasiswa telah mampu memetakan potensi sumber daya alam desa; 2) mahasiswa sudah memahami konsep senyawa bioaktif; dan 3) mahasiswa dapat menggunakan referensi ilmiah sebagai dasar proyek. Tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat positif. Kata kunci: pangan fungsional; proyek independen; KKN; pandemi covid 19 ABSTRACTThe COVID-19 pandemic has caused many people to suffer from diseases and die in various parts of the world. Consumption of functional foods can provide physiological health benefits in fighting and protecting against COVID-19. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce functional food for the Thematic-KKN independent project in the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program. Through independent project activities, students can design functional food based on village potential as an innovative final product. Community service activities take place on 9 and 16 September 2021 offline and online using the knowledge transfer and community development methods. This activity consists of the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Evaluation of activities was carried out using the assignment assessment rubric and student perception questionnaires. The results of community service activities show that 1) students have been able to map the potential of village natural resources; 2) students already understand the concept of bioactive compounds; and 3) students can use scientific references as the basis for the project. Abstract

[Title: The Conceptual Profile of Prospective Biology Teacher FPMIPA IKIP Mataram]. The conceptual profile is a tool for analyzing the style or process of thinking, so the profile of understanding concepts is very important to study as a basis for designing and improving the quality of learning. This research is a descriptive study that aims to identify and explain the conceptual profile of prospective biology teacher FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. The subjects in this study included all biology students who regularly program evolutionary courses. The open-ended question is designed to collect conceptual profile data on the evolutionary biology students from FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. Identification or determination of conceptual profile is based on student responses or answers. Based on the results of the research and the limitations of the discussion, it is recommended that the development of textbooks that are free of misconception as a learning resource for valid biology prospective teacher, then lecturers as instructors, continue to study and teach about attitude, namely scientific attitudes, or thinking dispositions, and/or integrating attitudes in the lecture process. Besides that, in the lecture or learning process, the lecturer must facilitate or empower the style or process of thinking of students with various learning methods or strategies that emphasize thinking processes, including formal reasoning, and analogical teaching strategy.

Abstract

Tujuan kegitan PkM adalah memberdayakan warga rukun tetangga 06 Lingkar Permai dalam pengolahan sampah organik dengan komposer sederhana untuk mewujudkan NTB zero waste. Kegitan ini bermitra dengan Warga RT 06 Lingkar permai yang melibatkan 10 orang.  Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pendekatan; (1) Model participatory rapid appraisal, (2) Model Technologi transfer, dan (3) Model community development. Hasil kegiatan PkM 1) peningkatan pemahaman mitra tentang pengolahan sampah organik rumah tangga dengan menggunakan metode komposter, 2) terbentuknya keterampilan mitra dalam pembuatan komposter sederhana, 3) mitra memiliki keterampilan dalam pengolahan sampah organik rumah tangga dengan metode komposter, dan 4) adanya kesadaran mitra dalam pemilahan sampah organik dan anorganik. Diharapkan dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tersebut dapat menjadi kontribusi dalam mewujudkan NTB Zero Waste.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 di tingkat SMP adalah lebih menekankan pengintegrasikan mata pelajaran biologi, kimia, dan fisika menjadi mata pelajaran IPA terpadu. Pengintegrasian mata pelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 yang menitikberatkan pada penyederhanaan mata pelajaran dan tematik-integratif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangakan Worksheet tematik-integratif Mata Pelajaran IPA Terpadu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah Worksheet tematik Integratif. Selanjutnya Worksheet tematik Integratif yang dikembangkan di uji dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Proses pengembangan Worksheet tematik Integratif dikembangkan dengan model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate). Data pemahaan konsep diperoleh  dari tes Essay yang diberikan kepada siswa. Objek pada penelitian ini yaitu MTs Negeri 1 Mataram  dengan subjek siswa kelas VII Bio A dan kelas VII Bio B jumlah keseluruhan 30 orang siswa. Hasil validasi dari ahli Worksheet dan instrumen penelitian dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan dalam uji coba. Hasil penelitian pemahaman konsep untuk siswa kelas VII bio A pretest mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 55 dengan katagori tidak tuntas sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 87.2 dengan katagori tuntas, sedangkan untuk siswa kelas VII bio B pretest mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 44.3 dengan katagori tidak tuntas sedangkan nilai rata-rata postest 89.3 dengan katagori tuntas hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Worksheet tematik Integratif epektif  dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

Market waste is the second largest waste after household waste. Vegetable and fruit waste is the largest organic waste that comes from market waste. Various waste management efforts have been carried out by the government and the community, but have not completely resolved the waste problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of market organic waste processing using an earthworm reactor (Lumbricus rubellus) with a modified Continuous Flow Bin method on cocoon production, biomass, and exmecat. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD), with three treatments of a continuous flow bin modified three types of mixed media materials to increase cocoon production, biomass, and exmecat quality. The results showed that the type of reactor had a significant effect (P ≤ 0.05) on cocoon production, the amount of biomass, biomass weight, broodstock mortality, exmecat production, media temperature, and media humidity, but had no effect on media pH. The use of reactor 2 (R2) with a mixture of 50% horse feces + 50% rice straw + feed 50 grams / day / nest box for market organic waste is the best reactor compared to reactor 1 (R1) and reactor 3 (R3). The amount of organic waste that can be processed by earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) either as a medium or as feed is an average of 4.35 kg / nest box for 40 days of cultivation with a stocking density of 25 grams of earthworms / nest box. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the ability of earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) to process market organic waste using the modified Continuous Flow Bin method can reach 4.35 times their body weight / day. Thus, this waste processing method can be a complete solution to solving market organic waste management problems.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Elementary school (ES) or Madrasah Ibtida'iyah (MI) is an essential part in the Indonesian education system, especially when viewed from a global perspective, the basic education aims to prepare the young generation to be able to adapt to the demands of the era. To support this, then Indonesia must be flexible to adapt, both in the content of the curriculum, as well as learning paradigm. A change of paradigm (paradigm shift) the emphasis on active engagement in the learning process (active consumer). That learning is none other than to help students acquire knowledge or understanding based on the integration of knowledge/understanding itself with science process skills (SPS). Science process skills (SPS) is identical to the behavior of scientists (scientists), so the SPS is recognized by the world as a way to acquire and knowledge development.
