Abstract

Arrogance is to think of oneself as superior and superior and to look down on others. Arrogance is caused by several factors, namely: charity and knowledge, lineage, beauty, strength, wealth, lineage, and others. Pride occurs a lot, for example in the family, school, community environment, and anywhere. They act arrogant because they are used to living like that. In the family, for example, parents always accustom their children to always be arrogant. An arrogant person likes praise, he wants to always occupy the top position, doesn't want to be advised, thinks he is the most righteous. Even though such an attitude is not justified in association, especially in Islam. Allah really hates people who act arrogantly, anyone who cannot get rid of that trait, Allah will put him in the most despicable place, namely hell. A person can change, as long as he really wants to change it, namely by believing in the Qur'an, the way to do it is by reading it and understanding the meaning contained in it. Then by memorizing the Qur'an, because by memorizing one's heart will always be close to the Qur'an, do not have time and do not want to do things that can damage faith. And of course the clarity about this arrogance has been explained below in the form of thematic hadith. Adjustment of existing themes so that they can be easily understood to clarify the concept of arrogance from a hadith perspective.

Abstract

This paper is about Imam Shaykhon (Bukhari and Muslim) leaving out a narration from Imam Shafi'i. A thing that is left out is certainly not free from causes and intentions. If a narration is left out of a hadith, there must be some shadz and illat in the hadith or the person who reported it. Then, is Imam Shafi'I unjust and has many shadz and illat. From the statements of the scholars about Imam Shafi'I, that he is a Hadith expert. Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal stated that if it were not for Shafi'I, I would not know hadith. This library research relies on library research materials, such as books, books, journals, encyclopedias, and magazines, as data sources to search and track these issues. From the findings of this research, that leaving the history of Imam Shafi'I has a purpose and a veil. Leaving his narration does not mean that there is an illat, but it shows praise and honor towards Imam Shafi'I.

Abstract

Technology has posed a big challenge to the study of hadith, namely that it is easy for fake hadith to appear or those with wrong interpretations and views. This article aims to analyze the challenges that arise in the use of hadith in the digital era and create strategies that utilize technology in the dissemination and understanding of hadith. By using a descriptive-qualitative method, the results of this discussion show that the study of hadith in the digital era has many challenges, such as the spread of fake hadith easily and causing harm. So the use of technology in Hadith studies requires good ethics and strategies in using existing technology. By respecting religious values, maintaining credibility, protecting privacy, and adhering to applicable ethical guidelines, Hadith researchers can utilize technology in a responsible and beneficial way. With the right approach, the use of technology can enhance understanding, research and dissemination of the rich Hadith heritage to Muslims around the world.

Abstract

Water alms are one way to get forgiveness from Allah SWT and get heaven. There is a hadith that discusses the virtue of giving drink to animals. This shows that Islam teaches to do good to every creature, including animals. Among the hadiths that are raised is the discussion of an adulterer who gave a dog a drink, and finally he got forgiveness of sins. One thing to note is no matter how bad your past is, no matter how big the sins you have made, do not despair and feel very low, believe that Allah's forgiveness is real, open, Promise to repent and cover up his actions with good deeds and sincerity in carrying them out.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the practice of boycotting during the Prophet's time, including whether it was carried out by the Prophet, his Companions, or the opposition. It also investigates whether hadith, as an authoritative source in Islam, supports boycotting and how to contextualize these teachings in the present. This research employs a library-based approach, collecting data from hadith, books, and scholarly articles relevant to the topic. The methods used include takhrij hadith and descriptive-analytical processing of historical accounts of boycotting during the Prophet's era to describe and analyze its contemporary application. The study finds that boycotting practices existed during the Prophet's time and were carried out by the Prophet and his Companions. Implementing hadith on boycotting in the modern context is complex but remains relevant to issues such as war and blasphemy. Additionally, contemporary boycotts have evolved into moral support actions at individual and international levels, aimed at drawing attention and resolving conflicts. Muslim scholars, institutions, and religious organizations consider boycott rulings based on fraternal hadith, the prohibition of oppression, and ijtihad through Islamic legal approaches (fiqh and ushul fiqh), such as Syadd al-Żarāi' and Qiyās. These considerations integrate textual evidence with modern contexts, ensuring flexible and dynamic rulings that align with the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharīʻah), particularly justice and welfare for the ummah.
