Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of the Problem Based Instruction learning model with Guided Note Taking strategy on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 4 Palu. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest group design. The population of this study were all students of class X SMAN 4 Palu. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling for class X IPA 3 as the experimental group and class X IPA 7 as the control group. The physics learning outcome instrument is in the form of a multiple choice test that has been validated by an expert validator. The test of physics learning outcomes obtained showed that the posttest average score of the experimental group was 15.10 with a standard deviation of 3.07 and the control group was 12.97 with a standard deviation of 3.10. By using the t-test hypothesis test (two parties), obtained = 2.66 and = 1.67 at the real level = 0.05. This means that the value is outside the reception area. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Problem Based Instruction learning model with Guided Note Taking strategy on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 4 Palu.

Abstract

Permasalahan pokok pada penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IVa SDN 3 Tondo pada mata pelajaran IPA. Salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa adalah Kurangnya varian model atau metode yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IVa SDN 3 Tondo khususnya pada pokok bahasan struktur dan fungsi bagian tumbuhan dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVa SDN 3 Tondo yang berjumlah 20 orang. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan sumbangan pemikiran dan tolok ukur kajian dalam penelitian selanjutnya, selain itu dapat memberikan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran NHT. Jenis data yang dikumpulkan adalah data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru pada saat proses belajar-mengajar berlangsung, dan data kuantitatif berupa hasil belajar siswa melalui tes evaluasi akhir tindakan. Hasil siklus I diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal 65%, aktivitas guru sebesar 87% dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 78%. Selanjutnya pada siklus II diperoleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 85%, aktivitas guru berada pada kategori sangat baik yaitu 95% dan aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik sebesar 92% Berdasarkan indikator penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Tondo Palu.Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe NHT, Hasil Belajar IPA.

Abstract

This research was a qualitative descriptive study aimed to describe the cognitive structure of physics education students were registered in Introduction to Solid State Physics course. Subjects numbered 38 people. Instrument used to determine the cognitive structure of students is a Word association test such as lattice, bases, crystal structure, unit cell, the symmetry of crystals, simple cubic (SC), body centered cubic (BCC), face centered cubic (FCC) and the Index Miller. The result showed that the cognitive structure of students on keywords simple cubic (SC), body centered cubic (BCC), and a face centered cubic (FCC) is more complete than other keywords. Factors affecting less complete cognitive structures among other students' prior knowledge inadequate and difficult to describe the words contained in keywords. Keywords: cognivtive structure, analysis, crystal structure.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, which aims to describe the ability of junior high school students to solve physics problems in various forms of problem representation. The subjects in this study were the IX grade junior high school students in six Palu city schools. Respondents for interviews in the study amounted to 4 people for each form of problem representation, with the criteria of students who answered right, students who answered ± 50% correct, students who answered incorrectly, and who did not answer. The instrument used was a test of problem solving skills and interviews. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively including data reduction, presenting data and verification while descriptive analysis was performed by calculating the total score, calculating the percentage and categorizing problem solving abilities. The results obtained by the average ability of junior high school students to solve physics problems in various forms of problem representation 21.86% (less category), with the percentage of each form of representation ie verbal representation 36.09% (less category), image/picture representation 23.78% (less category), diagram representation 19.47% (poor category) and graphic representation 8.10% (poor category).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills on work and energy. The research method used was quasi-experimental designs with research designs, pretest-posttest control group designs. The research sample was class VIIB as the experimental class (n=30) and class VIIC as the control class (n=30) which was selected by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test of critical thinking skills in the form of essay questions. Data analysis was performed using non-parametric statistics and two-party t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the analysis show that tcount>ttable=2,15>1,67, so H_0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there are differences in critical thinking skills between students who use the Guided Inquiry learning model and groups of students who use conventional learning models (direct interaction). It can be concluded that there is an influence of the guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking skills of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Palu.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of using the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulse. This type of research was a quasi-experimental design with the non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all students of class X IPA SMA Negeri 4 Palu. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The sample of this study was class X IPA 6 (n=35) as the experimental group and class X IPA 4 (n=35) as the control group. The instrument was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple-choice questions. The learning outcomes test obtained showed that the average score of the experimental group was 15.16 with a standard deviation of 3.23 and the average score of the control group was 10.56 with a standard deviation of 3.08. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount = 5.48 and t0.0975(68) = 1.99 at a significance level of = 0.05. This result means that the tcount is outside the H0 reception area. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Group Investigation learning model on student learning outcomes on the concepts of momentum and impulse.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bentuk representasi gambar di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Morowali Utara yang terdiri atas kemampuan menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menciptakan. Metode penelitian deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bentuk representasi gambar di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Morowali Utara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lembo, 25 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Petasia, dan 15 siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mori Atas tahun ajaran 2020/2021, sehingga subjek penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa. Data diperoleh dari lembar jawaban tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bentuk representasi gambar dan hasil wawancara. Soal tes berjumlah 6 butir soal esai yang terdiri dari 2 soal kategori menganalisis, 2 soal kategori mengevaluasi, dan 2 soal kategori menciptakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika bentuk representasi gambar di SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Morowali Utara pada materi Hukum Newton dan gerak parabola sebesar 33,51 yang berada pada kategori kurang. Kata kunci : Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, Menganalisis, Mengevaluasi, Menciptakan  ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the high-order thinking skills of students in solving physics questions in the form of image representations in state high schools in North Morowali Regency which consists of the ability to analyze, evaluate, and create. The descriptive research method was used to describe the high-order thinking skills of students in solving physics questions in the form of image representations in public high schools in North Morowali Regency. The subjects of this study were 20 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Lembo, 25 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Petasia, and 15 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Mori Atas school year 2020/2021, so the research subjects were 60 students. . Data obtained from the answer sheet of the test of higher order thinking skills in solving physics questions in the form of image representations and interview results. There are 6 test questions in the essay which consists of 2 questions in the analyzing category, 2 questions in the evaluating category, and 2 questions in the category of creating. The results showed that the average high-order thinking ability of students in solving physics questions in the form of image representations in State Senior High Schools in North Morowali Regency on the material of Newton's Law and parabolic motion was 33.51 which was in the poor category.  Keywords: High-order thinking skills, Analyzing, Evaluating, Creating

Abstract

This research aims to describe the misconceptions that occur in sound wave material in Class VIII Public Middle School Tolitoli Regency by using a four-tier diagnostic test. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were 60 students from class VIII of Public Middle School 2 Tolitoli, junior high school Negeri 5 Tolitoli, and Public Middle School 8 Tolitoli. Determination of respondents using a purposive sampling technique, namely by taking respondents who experienced the highest misconceptions as many as 10 students. The results showed that the misconceptions that occurred in students of Public Middle Schools in Tolitoli Regency with low misconception criteria, namely at 27%, The identification results showed that students of Public Middle Schools in Tolitoli had understood the concept of sound waves well so that the results achieved were based on the misconception criteria, namely low.

Abstract

This research aims to test the significance of: (1) differences in learning outcomes students who are treated with an integrated PBL learning model STEM and PBL models; (2) differences in learning outcomes of students who have high learning motivation and low learning motivation; (3) interaction between models learning PBL And motivation Study to results Study participant educate. The population of this study were students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 6 Palu teachings 2023/2024, and the samples in this study were students in class VIII A and class VIII I obtained by purposive sampling. The research instrument consists of a HOTS-oriented learning outcomes test and a Learning Motivation questionnaire. Data analyzed with technique ANOVA two direction. Results Research shows that: (1) there are differences in student learning outcomes who were given treatment between STEM and integrated PBL learning models model PBL Which showed by p-value (0.000) < α (0.05); (2) there is difference motivation Study tall And motivation Study low to results Study which is addressed by the p-value (0.000) < α (0.05); (3) exists interaction between model PBL And motivation based results Study participant educate Which showed by p-value (0.000) < α (0.05).
