<![CDATA[Mathematics is one of the subjects that until now students still think mathematics is difficult. This indication can be seen from the low learning achievement of students at the education level so that students' interest in learning mathematics is low. Good mathematics learning achievement will not be achieved optimally if students do not have an interest in learning. The low results obtained in students' mathematics can be seen from the scores obtained by students during learning at school. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a positive and significant influence of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement of class X students of SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar. This study uses this type of quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design research methods. The population in this study was class X as many as 8 classes in Pematangsiantar Preparation Private Vocational School. The number of samples taken was 30 students, namely class X TBSM-2. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (Questionnaire) and pre test - post test. The results of the study were to find out how much positive and significant interest in learning mathematics had on mathematics learning achievement for class X students of SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023. Questionnaire of interest in learning mathematics in class X belongs to the high category with an average of 72. Learning achievement is based on pre-test and post-test questions with an average score of 62 and 79,6. The results of data analysis show that interest in learning (X) has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement in mathematics (Y) which is indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.495. The results of the analysis of determination indicate that the variable of student interest in learning (X) has an effect of 24.5% on the variable of student achievement (Y), while the remaining 75,5% is influenced by internal factors or external factors which were not examined in this study. Because t count 3.168 is greater than t table 2,467, with sig 0.001 so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted which means that “There is a positive and significant effect of interest in learning mathematics on mathematics learning achievement in class X SMK Swasta Persiapan Pematangsiantar T.A 2022 /2023.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of interest in learning on students' mathematics learning outcomes in grade VIII SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar Academic Year 2022/2023. (2) the effect of learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII of Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar Private Junior High School in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. (3) the effect of interest and learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class VIII of Cinta Rakyat Private Junior High School 3 Pematangsiantar for the Academic Year of 2022/2023. This type of research is a quantitative research type with the research sample being students of class VIII B and VIII C SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar, namely 60 students. The instruments used in this research are questionnaires and tests that have been tested for validity and reliability tests. The results and discussion of the research show that: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning and mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar, with a value of t_count > t_table (3.500 > 2.001) and a large effect of 17.4%. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes for eighth grade students of Cinta Rakyat 3 SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar, with a value of t_count > t_table (4.101 > 2.001) and a large effect of 22.4%. (3) There is a positive and significant effect between interest in learning and motivation to learn together with the value of F_count > F_table (10,865 > 3.115) and a large effect of 27.6%.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in class VIII circle material at Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematangsiantar Private Junior High School in the Academic Year of 2022/2023. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental type of research with the research sample being class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII D as the control class, totaling 60 students. The instrument used in this research is a test in the form of a description. The results of data analysis on pretest questions in the experimental class obtained an average value of 39.77 and in the control, class obtained an average value of 38.13. While the results of the data analysis of the posttest questions in the experimental class obtained an average value of 85.60 and in the control class an average value of 77.83 was obtained. Based on the results of the t-test conducted, it was obtained that tcount > ttable, namely 3.765 > 1.672. So based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in class VIII circle material at Cinta Rakyat 3 Private Junior High School Pematangsiantar.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the learning model, the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar. The design of this study used a pretest-posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023, and the sample in this study were all students of class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023 totaling 30 students. The instruments used in this study are validity, reliability, level of difficulty of test items and distinguishing power of test items. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the average value of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model was 82.13 and the average mathematical communication ability was 56.03. The results of hypothesis testing after obtained thitung = 11.052 and ttable = 2.045. This means that thitung > from ttable which indicates the null hypothesis is rejected. Based on the description, it is concluded that the use of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model has an influence on students' mathematical communication skills in learning functions in class VIII of SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the Situation Based Learning (SBL) learning model on the mathematical problem-solving ability of eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Trade. The design of this study used a pretest-posttest Nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Trade T.A 2022/2023, and the samples in this study were all students of class VIII-1 and class VIII-5 students of SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Trade T.A 2022/2023 totaling 60 students. The instruments used in this study are validity, reliability, level of difficulty of test items and distinguishing power of test items. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the average value of the Situation Based Learning (SBL) learning model was 82.13 and the average mathematical problem-solving ability was 56.03. The results of hypothesis testing after obtained tcount = 4.97 and ttable = 1.671. It means that tcount is greater than ttable which indicates is rejected. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Problem-Solving learning model on the Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability of Class XI Students of Private High School Nommensen Pematangsiantar Campus. The design of this study used a pretest-posttest control group design. The population and sample in this study were all students of class XI Private High School Nommensen Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023 Campus, totaling 62 students. The instruments used in this study are validity, reliability, level of difficulty of test items and distinguishing power of test items. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques, the average value of the results of the Problem-Solving learning model on students' mathematical problem abilities was 63.39. The results of hypothesis testing after obtained zcount = 2.530 and ztable = 1.960 This means that tcount is greater than ttable which indicates the hypothesis H0 is rejected. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning learning model on the mathematical critical thinking skills of class X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. The research design used a posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all students in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023, and the sample in this study was all students in class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar T.A 2022/2023 totaling 36 students. The instruments used in this study were validity, reliability, difficulty level of the test items and the discriminating power of the test items. The data obtained was then analyzed using data analysis techniques to obtain an average value of the Problem Based Learning learning model 38.44 and an average mathematical critical thinking ability of 36.94. The results of the hypothesis test after obtaining tcount = 6.551 and ttable = 2.032 and the contribution of Problem Based Learning to students' mathematical critical thinking skills is 0.5580 (55.8%). Based on this description, it was concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model had an influence on students' mathematical critical thinking skills in learning the system of three-variable linear equations in class X SMA Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar]]>

<![CDATA[he purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the influence of the constructivist learning approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Pematangsiantar. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method Quasi Experimental Design. The results of the instrument test analysis showed that the instrument was valid and reliable, in addition to the results of the calculation of the data analysis, it was obtained that the sample was normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis of this research is that there is an effect of the influence of the constructivist learning approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of smp negeri 11 pematang siantar. Based on the results of calculations using the t test, it is found that is 5.906 and is 2.01537, because > is 5,906 > 2,01537 so is accepted and is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of the influence of the constructivist learning approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students of smp negeri 11 pematang siantar. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an effect of family economic conditions and interest in learning on the mathematics learning achievements of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 BandarTrading T.A 2022/2023. This study uses a quantitative experimental research method. The population of this study were all students of class IX SMP Negeri 1 BandarTrading, totaling 184 students and a sample of 30 students, namely class IX-5. The instrument used was a questionnaire on the economic condition of the family as many as 20 items and a questionnaire on student interest in learning as many as 20 items. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of parental attention on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students at SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematang Siantar. This study uses a quantitative approach, the type of research used in this study is ex post facto. The population in this study were all class IX students of SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematang Siantar in the 2023/2024 academic year totaling 149 students. In sampling, the researcher used Cluster random sampling in this study, the researcher took one class, namely IX-A, so the total sample in this study was 37 students. Data were obtained from the parental attention questionnaire instrument and from document data on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematang Siantar. The instruments used were 30 closed statement questionnaires, using a Likert scale measurement. After the calculation, the conclusion of the calculation on simple linear regression with the equation Y' = a + b X = 39.837 + 0.371X with a calculated t value = 12.412 > t table = 2.0262 with a significance level of 0.00 < 0.005. So H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The influence of parental attention on students' mathematics learning outcomes in class IX of SMP Swasta Cinta Rakyat 3 Pematang Siantar is 82%, which means that parental attention can influence students' mathematics learning outcomes by 82%, where another 18% can be influenced by other factors.]]>
