Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya media pembelajaran berbasis metode TPR dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran English Train-Word Card di kelas VI SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian berjenis RnD dengan model ADDIE yang berfokus pada tahap pertama yaitu analysis (analisis). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah wali kelas dan peserta didik kelas VI di SDN 01 Situsari. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini ialah wawancara melalui jenis data primer. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwasanya guru dan peserta didik tertarik untuk menggunakan media English Train-Word Card pada pelajaran bahasa inggris. Maka dari itu, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media English Train-Word Card dibutuhkan oleh guru dan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan akan media interaktif berupa Ludo Digital dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila untuk kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model 4D Thigarajan (1974). Model ini terdiri dari empat tahap utama: Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate. Tahap Define melibatkan pendefinisian spesifikasi produk yang akan dikembangkan, sementara Tahap Design mencakup perancangan produk yang akan dibuat. Tahap Development berfokus pada pengembangan desain produk dan verifikasi kinerja. Tahap terakhir, Disseminate, melibatkan distribusi produk yang telah diuji kepada pengguna potensial. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang kebutuhan akan media interaktif Ludo Digital dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di tingkat SD, serta memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam konteks pendidikan tersebut.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan keterampilan Bahasa yang perlu dikuasai oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks fiksi pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas IV sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Pada pre-test diperoleh rata – rata nilai sebesar 55 dan presentase siswa yang berhasil hanya mencapai 26%, peningkatan terjadi di siklus I diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 81 dan persentase siswa berhasil 72%. Terjadi peningkatan berikutnya pada siklus II yaitu hasil tes keterampilan menulis teks fiksi diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 87 dan persentase siswa yang berhasil mencapai 85%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Reading comprehension skills are not always easy and quick for every student to master. It is still found that students and school conditions do not support reading activities, so students' reading comprehension skills do not develop optimally. Thus, an approach to learning that can improve students' reading comprehension skills is needed. This research aims to analyze the Whole Language Approach in improving reading comprehension skills for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method for this research is to adopt the Kemmis and McTaggart action research model. The subjects of this research were 30 class V students. The data collection methods for this research are observation, interviews and tests. The data collection instruments for this research used questionnaire sheets and test questions. This data analysis technique uses two techniques: qualitative data analysis and descriptive static data analysis. The research results were that students' interpretative level reading comprehension skills only reached 48% at the beginning of the pretest. When implementing the whole language approach in cycle I, there was an increase of 78%. Moreover, It increased again until in cycle III, it became 83%. It is concluded that the whole language approach is one-way teachers can use to improve reading comprehension skills at the interpretative level. The implication of this research is that applying the Whole Language Approach can help students learn.

Abstract

Ketidakmampuan belajar adalah masalah yang mengakibatkan siswa tidak dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik dan mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan berbicara saat bercerita dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V SDN Sumberjaya 06. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan bagian penting dari keterampilan berbahasa bagi siswa yang dapat berbicara. lebih mudah untuk mengungkapkan pendapat dan mengungkapkan pikiran. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di kelas adalah dengan bercerita yang berkaitan dengan topik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan data dari SDN Sumberjaya 06 SD. Subyek penelitian adalah guru kelas V dan 15 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam bercerita cukup baik. Mengenai keberanian, 7 dari 15 siswa berani bercerita dengan suara lantang dan tatapan mata percaya diri. Dalam hal akurasi, 8 dari 15 siswa memiliki pelafalan dan tata bahasa yang benar. Dalam hal pemahaman, 8 dari 15 siswa menceritakan isi cerita dengan sangat jelas sehingga pendengar dapat dengan mudah memahaminya. Pada bagian fasih, hanya 5 siswa dari 15 siswa yang lancar menyampaikan isi cerita. Mengenai kosa kata, dari 15 siswa, hanya 2 siswa yang bercerita dengan kosa kata yang berbeda sedangkan 13 siswa lainnya masih menggunakan kosa kata yang terbatas. Dari 15 penampilan siswa, hanya 7 siswa yang menggunakan ekspresi. Gestur dan ekspresi wajah menggambarkan gestur dengan melambaikan tangan.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve the science literacy of elementary school students using a brain-based learning approach. The major problems found in this study include the inability of students to answer scientific questions relevant to real life, their inability to identify and interpret scientific texts, and their inabilidade to apply knowledge in everyday life. Brain-based learning methods were chosen because they were based on the principle of brain work. It is expected that this approach will help students become more interested and interested in studying Natural Sciences (IPA). Class Action Research (PTK), which consists of various action cycles, is used. Planning, implementation, observation, and reflection are phases that are included in each cycle. Data is collected through science literacy assessment using essays and observations. Content, context, high-level thinking, and affective aspects are the literacy components studied. The study involved 30 students who were in the fifth grade of primary school.  Students are better at identifying and interpreting scientific texts, answering scientific questions that are relevant to everyday life, and applying their knowledge to daily life. In addition, observations of student learning activity also show that students are more engaged and involved in the learning process. Students are more involved in discussions, questions, and experimental activities designed based on brain-based learning. In conclusion, the Brain- Based Learning approach is effective in improving students' science literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan  yang difokuskan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan membaca terutama pada pemahaman teks nonfiksi dengan  diterapkannya metode membaca terbimbing terhadap siswa kelas V di SDN unung 01 pagi. SDN Gunung 01 Pagi. Dimanfaatkannya Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan membaca pemahaman dan pengamatan tindakan aktivitas guru serta siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, terutaama pada siklus I ditunjukkan persentase 38%  yang masih rendah dari target yang ditetapkan. Namun, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi sebesar 83%. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil pengamatan terhadap aktivitas guru, yang berawal dari persentase 77,5 mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 95% Disimpulkan bahwa di dalam proses pengamatan/penelitian ini  tercakup aspek identifikasi kendala,  perbaikan strategi,  dan refleksi yang dilakukan terhadap tindakan keduanya. Dapat dikatakan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan metode membaca terbimbing ini secara berhasil  mampu dalam mengupayakan  adanya peningkatan terhadap keterampilan membaca pemahaman kritis yang dimiliki oleh siswa.

Abstract

The Master of Basic Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta conducted a tracer study in meeting the demands of the market, especially the workforce and to increase competitiveness in improving the education system so far. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires given to alumni (graduates) from 2012 to 2022. Respondents of the tracer study consisted of 44 alumni of the Master of Basic Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively in the form of percentages and the meaning of each tracer study finding was carried out qualitatively. The stages of interpreting tracer study data are data collection stages, data reduction stages, data exposure stages and data verification stages. The results of this tracer study are expected to be taken into consideration for policy makers in making improvements and updating educational strategies and orientations, making technical improvements to the implementation of education and teaching, and providing input for curriculum improvement / change so that graduates of the Master of Basic Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta become better in their intellectual capacity, skills and morals and personality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for teaching materials that are practical and interesting according to the character of fourth grade elementary school students so that they can increase students' optimism in writing. This study uses descriptive qualitative assessment. This technique is used to observe the need to increase the material for writing descriptive texts in elementary schools. This study is for observation and to form patterns of material in order to facilitate learning to write descriptive texts in elementary schools. The data for this study were obtained through questions and answers to class IV teachers as well as distributing questionnaires to all students at SDN Rawasari 05 Pagi. Through the acquisition of questions and answers, the class teacher at SDN Rawasari 05 Pagi showed the need for companion material for theme 3. So according to the needs analysis questionnaire that was carried out, it was shown that 78% of students needed companion material for the theme book. Through the acquisition of questionnaires and questions and answers, this gives the fact that it is necessary to increase the material for theme 3 thematic books which are dominated by technology in order to support the learning stages which have implications for logic and increase the skills of students. The reviewer hopes that the existence of this needs analysis can help students be able to help deal with conflicts in learning to write descriptive texts and this study is a form of educational participation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Graduates of the Master of Basic Education are required to become professional teachers and be able to provide guidance services to elementary school students. This research with the type of explanatory sequential mixed methods aims to see the readiness of Master of Basic Education students in providing guidance services to elementary school students. This research was conducted in semester 117 of the 2022/2023 academic year with 27 respondents of Master of Basic Education students in 2022 who have worked as professional elementary school teachers. The research sample was determined by purposive sampling method. The research data were collected and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches from research instruments in the form of semi-structured interviews and semi-structured questionnaires. The research findings show that the level of readiness of respondents in providing nine types of guidance services to elementary school students is in the percentage range between 82% and 93%. This means that the level of readiness of Master of Basic Education students as professional elementary school teachers in providing guidance services to elementary school students is very good.
