Abstract

Desa Pulau Kampai di Kabupaten Langkat merupakan sentra produksi terasi tradisional dengan potensi ekonomi lokal yang besar, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam efisiensi produksi, keterbatasan energi listrik, dan kualitas pengemasan produk. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan daya saing terasi melalui penerapan mesin penggiling berbasis Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dan mesin pengemas vakum. Mitra kegiatan adalah Karang Taruna “Terasi Udang Asli” yang selama ini memproduksi terasi secara kolektif menggunakan mesin diesel sederhana. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknologi, instalasi sistem PLTS dan peralatan produksi, serta pendampingan dan evaluasi berkala. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan produksi hingga 100%, penghematan biaya operasional sebesar 60%, serta perpanjangan masa simpan produk dari ±1 bulan menjadi ±6 bulan. Selain itu, 80% anggota mitra dinyatakan kompeten dalam mengoperasikan peralatan secara mandiri. Implementasi teknologi ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, tetapi juga memperkuat kemandirian energi dan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan usaha kecil. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir berbasis energi terbarukan dan teknologi tepat guna yang layak direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar instalasi penerangan listrik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei dengan pendekatan koreasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII TITL SMKS Sinar Husni 2 TR Deli Serdang dengan besar sampel sebanyak 72 siswa, dengan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampling acak sederhana. Untuk mendatapkan data hasil belajar dari nilai ujian mata pelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik pada aspek kognitif. Sedangkan data media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar digunakan angket dengan lima pilihan jawaban. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut : 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan media pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar instalasi penerangan listrik siswa kelas XII TITL SMKS Sinar Husni 2 TR Deli Serdang. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai sig 0,000 (0,05) dan F-hitung 19,390. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar instalasi penerangan listrik siswa kelas XII TITL SMKS Sinar Husni 2 TR Deli Serdang Deli Serdang. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai sig 0,000 (0,05) dan t-hitung 3,695. 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar instalasi penerangan listrik siswa kelas XII TITL SMKS Sinar Husni 2 TR Deli Serdang Deli Serdang. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai sig 0,000 (0,05) dan t-hitung 4,202. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan bagi pihak sekolah untuk terus mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan interaktif, serta menciptakan strategi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract

Pembelajaran praktik di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki peran krusial dalam menyiapkan siswa menghadapi dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan terhadap pembelajaran praktik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 180 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Excel untuk menghitung persentase kepuasan berdasarkan lima aspek utama: mata pelajaran praktik, kesesuaian materi, bimbingan pengajar, fasilitas praktik, serta evaluasi dan kesempatan pengembangan diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasa puas dengan pembelajaran praktik, terutama dalam aspek fasilitas dan metode pengajaran. Namun, beberapa aspek, seperti kesesuaian materi praktik dengan dunia industri dan kesempatan pengembangan diri, masih memerlukan perbaikan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pihak sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran praktik agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri dan harapan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of transformational leadership style, work mo- tivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the performance of elementary school teachers in Selayang District, Pemalang Regency. This is a quan- titative study using a cross sectional approach and an explanatory survey. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for val- idity and is proven valid and stable. The results of the analysis prerequisite test in- cluding normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and linearity show that the requirements have been fulfilled. The result of the F test count is 120.311 with a significance value of 0.0000.05, meaning that there is a significant and positive ef- fect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance. Partial test shows that the significance value of transforma- tional leadership style is 0.001, work motivation is 0.000, and job satisfaction is 0.0000.05, meaning that transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a significant and positive effect on teacher performance, re- spectively. It shows that all hypotheses in this study are acceptable, which means that there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style, work motivation, and job satisfaction both individually and collectively on the teachers’ performance.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the influence of principal leadership on teacher performance; (2) to determine the influence of teacher work motivation on teacher performance; and (3) to determine the influence between principal leadership and teacher work motivation on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 4 Medan. This study is a type of quantitative descriptive research. The sample in this study was 30 people. The data collection technique was through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was the multiple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that: (1) that leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, with a calculated t value of 2.282> t table 2.048 and a significance value of 0.002 <0.005. (2) . Furthermore, work motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, with a calculated t value of 4.483> t table 2.048 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. (3) Simultaneous leadership and work motivation together provide a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, as indicated by the calculated F value of 22.885 > F table 3.354 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.005. The conclusion is that the principal's leadership and teacher work motivation have a positive influence on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 4 Medan. The findings in this study are that many teachers are still not motivated enough in carrying out their duties as educators.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in PKM activities; developing corn farmers' businesses in Parsaoran Sibisa Village to become economically independent businesses through processing andaliman flavored corn chips, designing and building corn flattening machines, training on corn chips production, business management training and packaging. The specific target to be achieved through a corn flattening machine is to increase the effectiveness of the abundant corn production into andaliman corn chips, savory, sweet, spicy, able to manage business and packaging. The approach method used is the method of education, production training, business management training, design and assistance. The results of this service activity by providing knowledge, technology and business management, corn farmers are expected to be able to take advantage of their agricultural products which are processed into high-value corn chips products. Corn chips are a food diversification product that can support the development of rural agro-industry and increase the income value of corn farmers whose raw materials are easily available in Parsaoran Sibisa Village, Toba Samosir Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain a complete description of the implementation of quality assurance at the primary school level. Implementation of education quality assurance and improving the quality of primary school education involves various aspects, such as internal quality assurance systems, teacher competency tests, management of educators and education personnel, and self-evaluation models. To realize further research on the development of quality assurance models, especially at the primary education level, preliminary research is needed to map the actual conditions in primary schools. The research approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data analysis technique used is interactive model data analysis. the implementation of the education quality assurance system in improving school quality will be carried out well if all education stakeholders are involved and support quality planning. There needs to be adequate budget support in preparing quality. There are obstacles in the implementation of education quality assurance, to improve school quality. There are ways to overcome some of the obstacles to the implementation of the education quality assurance system to improve school quality, namely being able to improve the results of fulfilling quality, increasing targets that have not been achieved, improving the findings, increasing possible aspects, and setting more quality targets so that each aspect can be followed up and improved to improve school quality.

Abstract

To improve the quality of education, the government has added curricula such as the 2013 curriculum and the Independent Learning Curriculum. In order to achieve an effective and efficient learning process, learning can be optimized by developing learning strategies. Achieving this process requires media support and learning resources, either through theory or practice. Therefore researchers are trying to develop an effective and practical commercial electrical practicum Joobsheet that facilitates access to learning resources and reference materials for lecturers and students while increasing students' knowledge, understanding and academic achievement. The research methodology in this study is R and D using a 4D model which involving a sample of 20 Electrical Engineering Education students of UNIMED and 3 professional validators. As a result, media and material experts gave a score of 0.8 which means the commercial electrical installation Jobsheet is effective, and practice experts give a score of 0.92 which means the commercial electrical installation Jobsheet is very practical. Out of 17 students felt the Jobsheet was very practical and 3 students found it practical. Based on this, the researchers concluded that Jobsheets are effective for learning commercial electrical installations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of a modular electric motor control media trainer on student understanding in the practice course of setting up and using electric motors. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were PTE-C class students as the experimental class and PTE-A students as the control class with 20 students each in each class. Research data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between students' understanding before and after participating in learning with the modular electric motor control media trainer in the experimental class. Meanwhile, in the control class that did not use a modular motor control media trainer, there was no significant difference between students' understanding before and after participating in the lesson. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the modular electric motor control media trainer has a significant influence on students' understanding in the practical setting and use of electric motors courses. Modular motor control media trainers can be presented as an effective alternative learning media to increase student understanding of the subject.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of developing research innovations initiated by schools and/or local governments on increasing the research abilities of high school teachers in Laguboti District. The main focus of the research is to analyze the extent to which innovative initiatives in research supported by schools or local governments contribute to improving the research capabilities of teachers in the region. The research method used included collecting primary data through questionnaires distributed to high school teachers in Laguboti District. Secondary data is also taken from documentation of research innovation development initiatives implemented by schools or local governments. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and simple correlation, which measures the extent to which the role of the school/government influences teachers' research abilities. It is hoped that the research results will provide a clear picture of the effectiveness of developing research innovations by schools and/or local governments in improving the research capabilities of high school teachers in Laguboti District. It is hoped that the implications of this research finding can become the basis for improving educational policies and practices in the region.
