Abstract

The research was conducted to obtain an overview of improving Science Process Skill and Self Regulation by using the Inquiry Interactive Demonstration learning model on science material at Junior High School Public No. 19 Bandar Lampung, this research uses a Quasy Experiment with a research design The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Design. Collecting data using observation sheets and Science Process Skills test using multiple choice while for self regulation using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a multivariate test (Manova). This study concludes that the inquiry interactive demonstration model can improve science process skills and self-regulation. The researcher suggests applying the inquiry interactive demonstration model to improve science process skills and self regulation in other science learning materials so that they can help develop science skills and reduce learning difficulties in other learning materials.

Abstract

Science process skills are one of the demands of new skills needed by students in the 21st century. One of the learning models that can sharpen science process skills is the predict-observe-explain (POE) model. Heretofore, research related to science process skills with POE model in understanding human digestive system material is still minimal. Therefore, this research needs to be done. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the POE model on improving students'  science process skills. This study used a quasy experiment, and research design of the matching only pretest-posttest design. This study's population was all VIII students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung, Lampung, Indonesia, in 2020/2021 academic. The sample in this study used a cluster random sampling technique, so that this study used 60 students as the research sample. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and observation sheets of science process skills. Data analysis in this study consisted of two, namely the N-Gain test and hypothesis testing using the independent samples t-test test. The results showed that the results of the N-Gain test in the experimental class were 0.66 (medium category), while the control class is a score of 0.34 (medium category). Meanwhile, The results of the research on the independent samples t-test on science process skills are the sig value. 0.000, p0,05. This implies that POE model facilitates in improving students' science process skills on human digestive system

Abstract

Low creative thinking skills, the approach used in learning has not facilitated students to understand problems and express many ideas. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Google Classroom-assisted STEM approach on creative thinking skills. This study used a quantitative research type with Quasi-Experimental Design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung, with a sampling technique that is cluster random sampling obtained Class G as the experimental class and Class H as the control class. The data collection technique used a test instrument in the form of an essay test to measure students' creative thinking skills. Hypothesis testing was using the Independent Sample T-test which was preceded by a pre-requisite test for normality and homogeneity of the data. The results of the t-test hypothesis test obtained a significance of 0.00 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected so that it can be concluded that the STEM approach assisted by Google Classroom has an effect on students' creative thinking, with the acquisition of each indicator: 79.7% originality indicator, 80,7% flexibility,82% elaboration, and 81.2% fluency.This increase can be seen from the impact on students that becoming more enthusiastic by motivating each other among friends through creative thinking so that they are able to make decisions and solve problems well.

Abstract

There have been many attempts to improve the habits of mind of high school students in Biology through various learning models. However, only a few research results show efforts to improve students' habits of mind through the creative problem solving learning model with mind mapping techniques. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the creative problem solving learning model with mind mapping techniques on increasing the habits of mind of high school students in learning biology. The pre-experimental method was used with the one group pretest-posttest design. Involving three research classes with 108 students taken by cluster random sampling and getting the same treatment using the creative problem solving learning model with mind mapping techniques. Research data collection uses essay and habits of mind questionnaires. The implication of this research is to increase students' habits of mind. students become accustomed to using their minds critically, creatively and able to control themselves very well as evidenced by an increase in posttest scores on essay tests and habits of mind questionnaires with an average of 86% and 83% (very good) with an average N-Gain 66% and 52% (medium), so the creative problem solving learning model was recommended to increase the habits of mind of high school students in biology learning.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Concept Attainment dan tehnik mnemonic terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Self Regulasi siswa dimateri Jaringan. Metode: Quasi Experimental Design. Desain yang diterapkan adalah The Matching Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel dalam Penelitian kelas eksperimen (XI MIA 2) dan kelas kontrol (XI MIA 1). Hasil: Rerata N-gain kelas kontrol 0,47. Dikelas eksperimen didapatkan rerata N-gainnya 0,58. Uji t independent pemahaman konsep memperlihatkan Sig.(2-tailed) 0,00 < α (0,05), maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh CAM dan Tehnik Mnemonic terhadap Pemahaman Konsep dan Self Regulasi Siswa Kelas XI di Mata Pelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan uji determinan pada kelas eksperimen CAM Dengan Tehnik Mnemonic berkontribusi 69% terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik, dan pada Self Regulation berdistribusi 42,25% banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi besarnya kontribusi yang diberikan

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there is no teaching material that is associated with the hadith Qur’an in the school that has Islamic nuances, the teaching material used more material and a few of picture as help from the materials, study aims develop magazine learning media feasibility, attractiveness in the cognitive domain of student. This type of research is a development research (Research and Development), using the development procedure of Borg ang Gall up to step 7, the data obtained will be analyzed with deccriptive percentages and qualitative data. The result of the study showed that the hadist learning media based on the biological magazine of the Qur’an was very suitable to used as ,learning meddia for class X students. This can be seen from the percentage of media expert validation of 82,8%, material expert validation 87,5%, linguits by 83%, and religious experts by 87,5%, teacher responses by 84,56%, and students’ responses by 81,8%. From the Reselt of study it can be concluded that the biological learning media based on the hadith Qur’an with viral material is very feasible to be used as medic learning in SMA/MA Key Words: Biology, Bio Magazine, Hadith Qur'an Abstrak : Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah belum adanya bahan ajar yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an hadist disekolah yang buansa islam. Bahan ajar yang digunakan lebih banyak menyajikan berupa materi dan minim gambar sebagai pembantu dari materi tersebut. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran majalah, kelayakan, kemenarikan dalam ranah kognitif peserta didik Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Reseaarch and Developmwnt) dengan menggunakan prosedur pengembangan Borg and Gall sampai dengan langkah 7, data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan deksriptif persentase dan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist sangat layak digunakan media pembelajaran peerta didik kelas X. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil persentase validasi ahli media sebesar 82,8%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 90,45%, ahli bahasa diperoleh 83%, ahli agama sebesar 87,5%, respon pendidik sebesar 84,56%, meunjukkan kriteria sangat menarik, dan respn peserta didik sebesar 81,8%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajarn majalah biologi berbasis Alquran hadist dengan materi virus sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMA/MA di Lampung. Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the analysis of the TPS learning model on the visual representation ability of biology students. This research used a Quasi Experiment method. The experimental class of this research that was given treatment used the TPS learning model and the control class of this research used the Discovery Learning learning model. In this research, the sampling technique was randomized class, the samples were used in class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The data collection techniques were used tests and observation sheet visual representation ability . The instruments used visual representation ability essay questions. The results in this research can be found in hypothesis testing by using test ANOVA, The results obtained with Facount= 27,046 dan Fatable= 4,001, the result is Facount>Fatable, it can be concluded that there is an influence in analyzing the TPS to visual representation ability. Key words: TPS, Visual Representation Ability, Biology Students   ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui analisis model pembelajaran TPS terhadap kemampuan representasi visual peserta didik biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen. Pada kelas eksperimen di penelitian ini  diberikan perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS dan kelas kontrolnya menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Pada penelitian ini, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara acak kelas, sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal uraian  kemampuan representasi visual, lembar observasi kemampuan representasi visual. Hasil pada penelitian ini diperoleh berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA, diperoleh Fahitung= 27,046 dan Fatabel 4,001, terlihat bahwa Fa hitung>Fatabel, oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran TPS terhadap kemampuan representasi visual. Abstract

This development research aims to provide innovations to learning media in Biology learning. The model used in developing this media adopts the Borg & Gall development theory which is cut into 9 steps with a population of students in class XI MIPA. The instruments used are expert validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and critical thinking essay questions. The results of research in developing android-based virtual practicum media can improve critical thinking skills, become a simulation forum before carrying out activities in the laboratory (pre-lab), and become a solution to the shortage of laboratory facilities. The results of the validation of media experts get an average percentage of 91.66% with very decent criteria, material experts an average of 81.25% with very decent criteria, linguists produce 91.40% with very feasible criteria, and responses the percentage of students is 70.58% with proper criteria. Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang harus diperbaiki di dunia pendidikan merupakan rendahnya pemahaman konsep serta motivasi belajar siswa. Ditemukan bahwa pada saat dilakukannya prapenelitian pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 masih kurangnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep serta motivasi belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman siswa tentang konsep dan motivasi mereka untuk belajar berdampak dari model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang digunakan di Web Google Sites. Metode Quasy Eksperimen digunakan dalam penelitian kuantitatif ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan tes uraian tentang Perubahan Lingkungan dan instrumen non-tes, yaitu angket dan dokumentasi. Terdapat 30 siswa dalam kelas Eksperimen  dan 30 siswa dalam kelas kontrol dalam sampel penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan Teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbasis web Google Sites terhadap pemahaman konsep dan motivasi belajar siswa. Selisih kemampuan pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 4% dengan kelas Eksperimen  85% dan kelas kontrol 81%. Sedangkan untuk motivasi belajar siswa memiliki selisih sebesar 19%.  Pada kelas eksperimen 75% dan kelas kontrol 56%. Adanya pengaruh juga terlihat dari pengujian hipotesis yang diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05, dengan demikian penelitian ini dapat menjawab pertanyaan dari rumusan masalah yang telah ditentukan.
