Abstract

Teachers have to offer learning opportunities that encourage the development of students, given the students’ relatively limited creative thinking skills and motivation to learn. This study aims to identify the categories of creative thinking skills and learning motivation exhibited by students in relation to each indicator within the field of electrical engineering. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach, with a sample size of 27 students from 6 grades of SD Negeri Mangkang Kulon 02 Semarang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The data were obtained through the observation guidelines, questionnaires and document analysis, which the researchers meticulously prepared and developed. Based on the descriptive qualitative analysis, the overall rating for creative thinking skills was 68.94%, indicating a moderate level of proficiency. In the descriptive qualitative analysis, each creative thinking skills indicator achieved a maximum of 80.55%, which was classified as high, while the minimum was 60.19%, which was categorized as low. The overall motivation of the students was found to be 72.66%, which is classified as high motivation. The maximum percentage of students' motivation to learn was 79.26%, classified as high motivation, while the minimum percentage was 60.00%, considered sufficient motivation. The results of this study indicate that students at SD Negeri Mangkang Kulon 02 Semarang exhibit low levels of creative thinking skills and moderate levels of motivation in electrical engineering.

Abstract

The potential of students that can be developed in facing 21st century learning includes creativity and basic scientific thinking abilities, but in reality the level of creativity and KDBI (Basic Scientific Working Ability) of students in science and science learning at Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School is relatively low. This research aims to determine the extent of creativity and basic scientific work skills in class This research is quantitative descriptive research with non-test data collection techniques using questionnaires. The research was conducted with students filling out a 35-question questionnaire with details of 20 creativity questions and 15 KDBI questions. Each indicator consists of 5 questions on the questionnaire. The research results show that the indicator of fluency in creativity is 54.29% in the less creative category, the indicator of flexibility in creativity is 53.93% in the less creative category, the indicator of authenticity in creativity is 54.64% in the less creative category, the indicator detail in creativity was 54.82%, including the less creative category, and for the Process indicator in KDBI it was 55.71%, it was in the poor category, the knowledge indicator in KDBI was 59.11%, it was in the quite good category and the attitude indicator in KDBI was 54, 46% are in the poor category. It can be concluded that the average indicator of creativity of Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri Vocational School students is 54.42% so it is on average less creative, while the KDBI of 56.42% is in the fairly good average category. Based on this research, the Bhakti Mulia Vonogiri Vocational School needs to carry out learning using the Project based learning method which can increase students' creativity and KDBI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile, specifically the element of cooperation (gotong royong), through the Market Day project among 4th-grade students in elementary school. The research method used is qualitative and data collection techniques are used including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Market Day project can foster the element of cooperation among 4th-grade elementary school students. This is evidenced by the students' enthusiasm in participating in the project, helping each other in completing tasks, and showing a sense of responsibility towards their group. The Market Day project provides students with the opportunity to learn to work together, respect each other, and solve problems collectively. Additionally, this project helps students develop entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, communication, and negotiation. Based on the results, it is concluded that the Market Day project is an effective teaching method to foster the element of cooperation among 4th-grade elementary school students. Teachers need to implement the Market Day project continuously and integrate it with the school curriculum to achieve optimal learning objectives.

Abstract

Keberhasilan pembelajaran menjadi salah satu faktor dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Melalui pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat seringkali mampu membuat siswa menjadi lebih semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Guru yang menggunakan metode ceramah tanpa menggunakan media cenderung kurang optimal dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Game edukasi seperti wordwall merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan interaktif dimana siswa belajar sambil bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan game edukasi berbasis wordwall dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi kegiatan ekonomi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental design tipe Post-test only control group design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA dan IVB SDN Tandang 01 dengan jumlah 54 orang. Instrumen data yang dikumpulkan berupa posttest siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menggunakan soal tes pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil pengujian menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dan nilai thitung sebesar 8.225 > ttabel sebesar 0,3809 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh penggunaan game edukasi berbasis wordwall dalam pembelajaran IPAS terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas 1 SDN Mlatiharjo 01. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif Pre-Experimental Design jenis One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN Mlatiharjo 01 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Pretest dan Posttest. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired sampe t-test dan uji N-gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media gambar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik diperoleh dari uji paired sampel t test dengan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan memiliki efektivitas dalam kategori sedang diperoleh dari uji N-gain dengan perolehan skor mean atau rata-rata sebesar 0,61. Oleh karena itu, terdapat pengaruh dan perbedaan efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning).

Abstract

The principle of problem based learning is to carry out investigations to find the truth by studying theories, asking experts, and also by conducting experiments depending on the problems found. Worksheet based on problem design emphasizes student activities to search for information through various sources such as environmental investigations, studies related to issues according to the content, formulating problems, comparing investigation results, proposing and considering the solutions obtained. The average value results for advisability of the product from the two validators are presentation of content 95%, discussion 85.6% and language 97.5% are very advisability category. Student responses to teaching modules was 100% of students students stated they were eligible. To find out of effect of worksheet based on problem, from the results of statistical tests using the paired sample t test using the SPSS 26 application, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average student scores before and after implementing the worksheet based on problem. The students' critical thinking test results obtained a gain score of 49.4 with a high category of 58.8%; 41.2% low; and 0% low. The conclusion from this development research is that there is an influence of worksheet based on problem on motion systems content in learning and increasing students' critical thinking. The presence of worksheet based on problem helps the process of training students' higher-level thinking skills

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the results of applying learning material about flat shapes in Mathematics for class IV students using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The method used in this research uses descriptive qualitative methods. In its implementation, it uses interview guidelines and observation sheets to see the learning process in class IVB. The research sample was all 28 class IVB students. The results of this research indicate that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model is appropriate to be applied in flat shape material in Mathematics subjects. It can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can increase students' creativity. The PjBL learning model is an alternative that teachers can use in learning to train students to learn using project assignments, so that students can design projects well as solutions to problems that will be resolved.

Abstract

The era of rapid progress in science and technology (IPTEK) has of course also had an influence on the development of the world of education. One of the developments in science that can contribute is science education. Science education is a learning process that emphasizes providing direct experience to develop competencies to explore and understand the natural environment scientifically. Scientific literacy ability in Indonesia is still relatively low based on data from the PISA study. Scientific literacy ability is an average of 396 and is still ranked 70th out of 78 participants. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The sample in this study was 28 VB class students. The research sampling technique is purposive sampling. The attitude aspect of the scientific literacy profile is in the medium category, this can be seen from the students' answers to the questionnaire that has been given. This is also supported by the class teacher's interview which stated that scientific literacy in the VB class had never been carried out, scientific literacy was only carried out during practicum in science and science learning.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze students' perspectives on the Adiwiyata school program at SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari within the framework of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The research sample consisted of 147 class X students selected using random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through surveys and analyzed based on four main aspects: natural resources, climate change, rural development, and disaster prevention and management. The research results showed that in the natural resources aspect, the value of the biology learning indicator was 71.90%, the extracurricular activities category indicator was 65.17%, and other activities was 69.96%. In the climate change aspect, the biology learning indicator obtained a score of 68.84%, the extracurricular activities category indicator was 57.41%, and other activities was 64.57%. In the rural development aspect, the biology learning indicator obtained a score of 50.61%, the extracurricular activities category indicator was 68.44%, and other activities was 76.49%. Meanwhile, in the aspect of disaster prevention and management, the biology learning indicator reached a value of 82.86%, the extracurricular activities category indicator was 76.39%, and other activities was 79.46%. These findings indicate that the Adiwiyata program has a positive contribution to the implementation of ESD principles at SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari, although there are variations in effectiveness in each aspect and indicator analyzed.

Abstract

The high unemployment of vocational school graduates is an urgent problem that requires concrete solutions. The Directorate of Vocational Development in collaboration with SEAMEO developed the Entrepreneurial Printing School program to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students to be able to build an independent and sustainable business. This study aims to explore the implementation of the ESD-based SPW program at SMK Bina Utama Kendal using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews with students, teachers, and SPW managers. The results of the study show that in the environmental aspect, 60% of students reduce plastic waste through recycling, although waste management still needs to be improved. In the economic aspect, 85% of students felt that SPW training improved their skills in managing sustainable businesses. On the social aspect, 64% of students felt the positive impact of the program, although local community involvement needs to be strengthened. So that the ESD-based SPW program is effective in helping students become independent and sustainable entrepreneurs and can become a model for entrepreneurship education in other vocational schools.
