Abstract

The 21st century demands education to equip students with academic knowledge and additional skills, such as innovative, productive, reasoning, programming, data literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking to face the rapid world changes. This study aims to develop science inquiry skills from early childhood to support children in mastering skills needed in the 21st century. This research design is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected from 16 preschools by observations, interviews, and documentation. Researchers used NVivo software for data management and analysis. NVivo is a software application designed to assist researchers in organizing, analyzing, and visualizing qualitative data. The research results reveal that coding games can develop 7 primary science inquiry skills: arguing based on existing evidence, identifying problems, analyzing and interpreting data, evaluating and communicating, planning and conducting investigations, asking questions, and constructing explanations. This research suggests that more preschools carry out coding games in the learning process because coding games can develop children's science inquiry skills, which will be useful in children’s future careers.

Abstract

In response to global environmental challenges such as climate change, pollution, and resource depletion, this study aimed to develop and evaluate Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)–oriented science learning materials on the human digestive system to enhance students’ sustainability awareness. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach and the ADDIE model, the instructional materials were implemented in a quasi‑experimental design with two eighth‑grade groups at SMP Negeri 2 Tulis during the 2024/2025 odd semester. Sustainability awareness was measured using a 26‑item questionnaire administered as a pretest and posttest. The experimental group, which received the ESD‑oriented intervention, demonstrated a mean pretest score of 70.55 and a posttest score of 92.06 (mean N‑Gain = 0.63). The experimental group showed significantly higher gains in both sustainability awareness—especially in emotional engagement—compared to the control group. These outcomes suggest that integrating ESD into science learning not only improves conceptual understanding but also shaping environmentally responsible and reflective students.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 requires human resources in the world of work to be of good quality and competent in their field of competence. Therefore, educators must be able to innovate in science learning. 21st-century learning must be relevant to developments in science and technology. Students' potential that can be developed in facing the 21st century includes creativity and science process skills in learning. School science learning often tends to be boring and does not develop creativity and science process skills. The development of STEAM-SDGS-based learning tools with the Project Based Learning model is needed to meet the demands of education in the 4.0 era. This research aims to analyze the need to develop STEAM-SDGS-based learning tools. This type of research is survey research using quantitative descriptive research methods. The population in this study were all class X students at SMKS Bhakti Mulia Wonogiri, with a research sample of 62 students. The research was conducted in May 2024. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a modified Likert scale with four answer choices: strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The research results showed that the statements submitted to respondents obtained a percentage of 11% -40%, which fell into the categories of strongly disagree and disagree. From these results, science and science learning tools are based on energy and its changes to increase vocational school students' creativity and science process skills.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi keberagaman kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampel jenuh nonprobability sampling. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah tes tertulis dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil t-test diperoleh = 7,064 > = 2,056 sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Hasil analisis N-gain sebesar 0,68 yang termasuk kriteria sedang. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi keberagaman kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh media pop up terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila pada siswa kelas II di SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi hidup rukun dalam keberagaman. Dalam konteks ini, penting bagi guru untuk menggunakan media yang dapat membangkitkan minat belajar siswa, yang pada akhirnya akan memengaruhi hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa kelas II. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil belajar siswa (Pretest-Posttest) dan observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara nilai rata-rata pretest 61,6 dan nilai rata-rata posttest 83,6, artinya hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Hasil hipotesis yang didapatkan melalui uji paired sample test (uji t) menunjukkan nilai > dengan nilai 7,064 > 2,056 maka ditolak dan diterima. Hasil rata-rata yang dilakukan melalui uji gain didapatkan 0,53 masuk kedalam katagori tinggi, artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media Pop Up untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang mendukung peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pemanfaatan simulasi PhET Colorado dalam memberikan pemahaman terhadap materi pecahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas IV di SDN Tambakrejo 01. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes awal pretest untuk mengukur pemahaman awal siswa tentang materi pecahan, intervensi menggunakan PhET Colorado dalam pembelajaran, dan tes akhir untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa setelah menggunakan PhET Colorado. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman konsep pecahan siswa yang menggunakan PhET Colorado dibandingkan dengan pengajaran secara klasikal. Kami menekankan pada pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mencapai pemahaman yang lebih baik dan menjadi panduan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan interaktif, khususnya pada materi pecahan.
