Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan berbicara siswa yang disebabkan karena guru cenderung menggunakan metode konvensional serta kurangnya media pembelajaran yang membantu siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektifitas model problem-based learning berbantuan media animasi terhadap keterampilan berbicara dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dalam bentuk Quasy Experimental Design (eksperimen semu). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA yang berjumlah 20 siswa dan VC yang berjumlah 20 siswa, yang dipilih secara random. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan thitung > ttabel (10.9 < 3.442) artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata keterampilan berbicara siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sesudah perlakuan, serta thitung>ttabel (10.5 < 2.776) artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sesudah perlakuan. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara dan hasil belajar siswa pada penggunaan model PBL berbantuan media animasi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the environmental literacy of students at SMP Negeri 5 Taman. The sample in this study were students of class VII totaling 45 students. The collection of student environmental literacy data in this study uses the standard assessment of Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey (MSELS). Data collection techniques used in this study include interview methods and test methods. Data analysis and data interpretation in this assessment are data reduction, categorization, synthesis, and working hypothesis. The results showed that the environmental literacy of SMP Negeri 5 Taman students had an average value of 58,48%, which was sufficient criteria. The results of the study are based on environmental literacy indicators, each indicator obtains a different average value of ecological knowledge of 8,71 % (sufficient criteria), cognitive skills of 3,24% (less criteria), environmental awareness attitude of 89,11 % (good criteria), and environmentally responsible behavior of 45,20% (good criteria).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) yang terdapat dalam Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa Tema 1-9 Revisi 2017 Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.  Hal ini berdasarkan pada penggunaan Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa Revisi 2017 yang digunakan pada Kurikulum 2013. Pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematic) begitu populer di masa sekarang. Maka dari itu, dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan pembelajaran yang selama ini dilaksanakan dapat diperbarui dengan pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). Dapat dilihat bahwa di dalam Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa sudah banyak yang berpotensi STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), tinggal bagaiamana seorang guru dapat menerapkan pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) dalam kegiatan pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang diarahkan untuk mengetahui potensi STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) yang terdapat dalam Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa Revisi 2017 Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Data yang diperoleh melalui data sekunder dari Buku Guru dan Buku Siswa Revisi 2017 Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar yang telah dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat fakta yang sudah berpotensi STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) dan fakta yang dipotensikan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics).. Fakta tersebut dapat dikembangkan dan diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), agar kemampuan yang dimiliki peserta didik juga berkembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the potential results of the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) on the concept of rotational dynamics. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The population in this study were 70 students of class XI MIPA at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Demak, Demak Regency. The research instrument was in the form of a check list of text/unit analysis questionnaires which were analyzed based on ESD indicators to obtain data and documentation techniques. The results of the study found that there is no curriculum in Indonesia that implements ESD in learning the material for the concept of Rotational Dynamics, this is indicated by the absence of the ESD perspective in learning tools. From the results of the analysis of the questionnaire given to respondents, the implementation of ESD on the concept of rotational dynamics has presented the ESD indicator with an average percentage of 33.12% in general, for socio-cultural aspects 35.81%, for environmental aspects 24.51% and 39.68% for the economic aspect. From the results of these studies, it is recommended to develop implementing ESD in learning with the concept of Rotational Dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential implementation of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) oriented to ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) in fluid learning. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Physics learning at Madrasah Aliyah tends to be theoretical and has not optimized the surrounding objects as learning resources. The researcher will describe the potential for implementing ESD-oriented STEAM in fluid learning carried out by physics teachers at Madrasah Aliyah, Demak Regency. Data collection techniques used observations, interviews and questionnaires about the implementation of ESD-oriented STEAM in fluid learning. The results showed that 90% of teachers were familiar with the STEAM learning approach, 52% of teachers had implemented STEAM in fluid learning, 62% of teachers had recognized the potential of ESD, 86% of teachers had linked fluid material to environmental issues. The learning process is carried out using a project base learning model. The conclusion is that the potential for implementing ESD-oriented STEAM in fluid learning is able to overcome the problem of students' learning difficulties which is carried out through experiments by utilizing waste or unused materials.

Abstract

Learning loss akibat Covid 19 perlu pemulihan bertahap demikian juga keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa di SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran  Proyek IPAS berorientasi ESD dengan pendekatan STEAM terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu Kuasi Eksperimen (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Desain yang digunakan adalah Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes yang dikembangkan  berdasarkan indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis. Uji statistic yang dilakukan berupa uji-t dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji t didapatkan t-hitung > t-tabel ( 9,320 > 1,995) dengan signifikansi 0.00, sedangkan uji N-gain sebesar 73,75%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran proyek IPAS berorientasi ESD dan pendekatan STEAM dengan  kriteria cukup efektif. Hasil penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam implementasi proyek IPAS berorientai ESD dan pendekatan STEM. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif dalam upaya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis khususnya siswa di SMK.

Abstract

STEAM merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menekankan pada hubungan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) untuk mengatasi masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi implementasi STEAM berorientasi Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) dalam pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Peneliti mendeskripsikan potensi implementasi STEAM berorientasi ESD dalam pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya. Responden penelitian ini adalah guru proyek IPAS di Kabupaten Jepara sebanyak 35 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 88% guru telah mengenal pendekatan  pembelajaran STEAM, 68% guru telah mengimplementasikan STEAM dalam pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya, 97% guru menyatakan bahwa implementasi pendekatan STEAM dapat meningkatkan pemahaman zat dan perubahannya, 91% guru menyatakan bahwa implementasi STEAM dalam pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya dapat meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik, Sementara itu 74% guru menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya berorientasi ESD mampu menanamkan nilai sikap, keterampilan dan kesadaran memperhatikan kehidupan untuk generasi berikutnya. Kesimpulan bahwa STEAM berorientasi ESD sangat berpotensi untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran zat dan perubahannya untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan menumbuhkan kesadaran pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Science literacy is the ability to understand, communicate, and apply scientific knowledge to find solutions and to have sensitivity to self and the environment in making decisions based on scientific considerations. This study aims to acquire a profile of the science literacy skills of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang students. The study involved 606 students consisting of 290 students in the X class and 316 students in the XI class. Data was collected using the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) science literacy instrument on Renewable Energy that refers to indicators developed by Gormally. ESD aims to empower individuals to act responsibly for the environment, economy, and society. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistics, i.e. average scores for each indicator, then the data is presented with a description. This study shows that the science literacy skills of students of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang need to be improved. The highest score is on making graphs accurately from data, while the lowest score is on making inferences, predictions, and conclusions based on quantitative data. Students' science literacy skills need to be improved through evaluation and practice of subjects involving science literature, learning with interactive media, and learning models that activate students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out that the problem-based learning method on audio-visual media can improve the learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri Pandean Lamper 04. Information on the material being taught is obtained from tests at the end of each cycle. Meanwhile, with the help of the observation form at PPL I, information was obtained about student performance and the process of implementing teacher learning. The results showed that learning through a problem-based learning model or Problem Based Learning with audio-visual media can improve student learning outcomes. The average percentage value of students in the pre-cycle period was 40% and in the first cycle period it increased to 65% for the completeness score and 85% for cycle II. From the results of this study it can be concluded that by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning at SMK Negeri 3 Jepara. This type of research is qualitative research. Interview, survey and documentation methods were chosen as data collection techniques. The results of data collection were analyzed using data triangulation. In carrying out the research at SMK Negeri 3 Jepara, 42 teachers were involved as respondents who were selected randomly. From the survey results, information was obtained that 80.96% of teachers had heard of differentiated learning. 71.42% of teachers have understood the concept of differentiated learning, 60% better understand the application of differentiated learning strategies, but only 33.33% of teachers carry out differentiated learning. 52.38% of teachers consider differentiated learning to support student characteristics, but the teacher's workload increases. 71.43% still think that the application of differentiated learning requires more time in learning activities. Another fact based on interviews found that there were still a few teachers who carried out differentiated learning because they found many obstacles in its implementation, including difficulties in making the tools, especially student worksheets (LKPD).
