Abstract

This research is conducted bythe problem of imbalance in the mastery of concepts, practices and activitiesof participants with a productive age range of 25-65 years in basic AC split system training. This happens because the method used is predominantly expository and visual media. Therefore, the trainer seeks to use the AC split media simulator in order to create an interesting learning atmosphere and increase the catchment and competence of participants. This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes, interests and motivation of participants in the productive age range 30 years and 30 yearsafter using the AC split learning instructional media on the AC split system training. The research method used was quasi-experimental, with variations in the object of research on 20 participants of tuna work in the village of Cigugur, Kuningan. Data collection techniques using questionnaires interest, motivation, pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in participants' learning outcomes as indicated by the average value of participant's interest in trainingactivities at productive age 30and 30 years with a score of 2.81 and 3.16, the category was quite good with an average N-Gain score of 55.89 and 36.26 medium category (30 ≤ G ≤ 70). The application of AC split simulator learning media also shows the learning motivation of participantsat the age of productive age range 30 years is greater than 30 years, amounting to 3.19: 3.08 with a fairly good category (Average score of 2.50-3.49). The distribution of N-Gain scores shows that the achievement of increased learning outcomes (training) for age 30 years tends to be higher on the scale of the medium category compared to the age range 30 years. The conclusion of this study, that the productive age range 30 years has a more significant increase in learning outcomes than the age range 30 years. by implementing the learning media of AC split simulator can increase the interest and motivation of participants in the basic AC split system training.

Abstract

The clean water crisis is increasing along with the increasing human population. Sea water is one of the largest water sources that can be utilized on the earth. However, the high salt concentration dissolved in seawater must be treated before it can use. Desalination is the directly technology for treating seawater with PVDF-TiO2 hollow fibre membrane via pervaporation process. The aim of this research was to determine the performance of PVDF-TiO2 hollow fibre membrane against variations in feed temperature in the artificial seawater pervaporation process. Method for fabrication membrane is using dry-wet spinning method. The result showed that the highest flux permeat occurred at feed temperature of 60ºC, namely 8.96 kg.m-2.h-1 with salt rejection > 92.86%. The result via SEM showed that of the membrane surface morphology, there is a white spot on the membrane surface is TiO2 because the dope solution is too thick. The PVDF-TiO2 hollow fiber membrane in this research is can be applied for seawater pervaporation.

Abstract

Science Process Skill (SPS) on the biology learning can facilitate student to reach the science learning and push student to find their own concept of knowladge, facs along with develop attitude and values. The purpose of this research is to improve student’s at class XI IPA 2 of SMA in skin excretory system using guided inquiry. Participan in this reasearc is 36 student of class XI SMA in Karanganyar who choose sciene program. The target of this research is to increase percentage of each skill indicator on SPS about ≥10%. The result of this research shows an the  average percentage on student’s SPS increasing from 29,78% to 65,34%. But, in the classification skill need to be trained more intensively, because it has not reached the target. Based on the result above the conclusion that guided inquiry can improvement student’s SPS participan.Keywords:        guided inquiry model, science process skill, skin excretory system

Abstract

This study aims to improve and describe the increase in cooperative competence and student learning outcomes in the ecology material in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 in Surakarta through the application of the Talking Chips type cooperative learning model combined with Jeopardy Games. This research is a classroom action research). The research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 7 in Surakarta consisting of 36 students. The technique of collecting data is done through observation observation sheets, evaluation questions, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Talking Chips learning model combined with Jeopardy Games could improve the cooperation skills and student learning outcomes from pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. The average number of cooperative skills averages 41.2%; 57.41%; and 84.3%. The average achievement of combined cognitive contributions is 61.11; 74,92; and 83.92. The average achievement of affective contributions was 38.19%; 60.1%; and 88.19%. The average achievement of the combined psychomotor aspects is 33.33%; 56.6%; and 85.07%. The conclusion of this study is the application of the cooperative learning model of Talking Chips type combined with Jeopardy Games to improve cooperation skills and student learning outcomes in the ecology material of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 in Surakarta

Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve the skill of student’s science process skill of class XI MIA 9 (ICT)  SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar academic year 2014/2015 through the use of inquiry learning model. The research is considered as Classroom Action Research that performed within 3 cycles and consists of 4 phase namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of research was students of XI MIA 9 (ICT) SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar academic year 2014/2015. Data were obtained by observation, test, interview, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive technique. Data validation used triangulation methods. The  result showed that the application of inquiry learning model could improve the student’s science process skill of XI MIA 9 (ICT) SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar academic year 2014/2015. The data showed that the mean value of all aspects had been improved from 31.41% in pracycle up to 49.14% in first cycle, than improve up to 62.05% in second cycle, and ended up by 76.45% at the final cycle. The conclusion of this research is that implementation of inquiry learning model was increasing the students science process skill in XI MIA 9 (ICT) in  SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar academic year 2014/2015.Keywords: inquiry learning model, science process skill.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the development process, including the quality validation and the practicality of the 'Magic Saga' game as a medium for enriching the vocabulary of eleventh graders. This study adopted the ADDIE approach by Branch (2009) to develop the media. This study took place at a high school by involving eight students and one teacher to test the game's practicality. On the other hand, one of the English lecturers validated the quality of the game. The validation score for content and design was 3.98 that categorized as 'excellent.' Based on observation and interview results; the students showed attractive interactions. Also, they gave good comments toward the Magic Saga game. Moreover, Students said that they were motivated to learn and practice vocabulary. Magic Saga game got good appraisal from the teacher and also a lecturer. While playing the game, the primary goals had met, and it concluded that the Magic Saga game was applicable for the English teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik. Siswa tidak selamanya mampu menunjukkan prestasi belajar yang baik dan maksimal seperti yang diharapkan orang tua dan guru. Artinya, prestasi belajar siswa tidak akan selamanya baik, dan juga tidak akan selamanya buruk. Hal ini disebabkan, pencapaian prestasi belajar pada siswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor termasuk faktor siswa itu sendiri, lingkungan, saran, dan prasarana belajar dan pembelajaran, serta interaksi seluruh faktor tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi belajar tersebut apabila dapat dipenuhi dan diperhatikan dengan baik dapat menunjang prestasi belajar siswa.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Menteng Palangkaraya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik, guru dan kepala sekolah. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah obervasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan tahapan yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan pengampilan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang lebih difokuskan untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan sifat atau hakikat nilai suatu objek atau gejala tertentu. Metode penelitian kualitatif melibatkan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, dengan teknik pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diambil berupa kata-kata, gambar, dan informasi yang ditemukan dari lapangan. Faktor yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal Menunjukkan sikap yang kurang wajar, Pencapaian akademik siswa rendah, Kesulitan membuat pemahaman baru, Siswa lamban dalam memproses sesuatu, Siswa sulit mengenali atau menafsirkan apa yang dirasakan, didengar, dan dilihat, Siswa kurang memperhatikan atau kurang fokus dalam belajar, Sulit untuk mengingat materi pelajaran.

Abstract

The utilise of biogas for remote areas is a problem because it is challenging to supply hydrogen. Hence a study of the utilisation of human fesses as biogas raw material for biogas production is proposed. Due to high investment costs to build miniature power plants, modified gasoline engines are used as mini power plants even though it is a laboratory scale. Based on results, human fesses can be used as raw material for biogas production. Performance engine using biogas derived from human fesses is 9% different from LPG. The maximum efficiency of the biogas system is 32%, and that of the LPG is 41%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis neurosains dengan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan (library research). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana model pembelajaran quantum learning diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis neurosains. Sumber primer dan sekunder merupakan sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Jurnal-jurnal yang membahas tentang model pembelajaran berbasis quantum learning dan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis neurosains menjadi sumber data utama penelitian ini. Buku dan jurnal yang relevan menjadi sumber data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa neurosains pembelajaran yang bertumpu otak kiri dan otak kanan sehingga quantum learning sangat tepat untuk dijadikan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam karena proses pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan, ada interaksi yang baik antara peserta didik dan guru yang mengajar, serta meningkatkan pemahaman materi dengan baik, dan belajar tidak membosankan.

Abstract

Information system implementation is essential for UPZ Baznas Petrokimia Gresik to find out the performance and information needed. The implementation enables administrators to manage the collection and distribution of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah (ZIS) efficiently. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the SIZIPRO system through SWOT analysis. The method in this research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to obtain holistic and accurate data. Data is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The evaluation is conducted using a SWOT analysis that consists of three stages, namely heuristic evaluation, system usability scale, and concurrent think-aloud. The results showed that the use of the SIZIPRO system was not fully open. However, the system has the potential to improve the existing weaknesses and overcome threats that may occur in ZIS management. Further findings, the management process of the SIZIPRO system implementation can be run in real-time and accurately which enables increased trust and minimizes data errors. The SWOT matrix in this study can be used as a basis for evaluating the use of digital systems in managing the collection and distribution of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah to enhance transparency and accountability.
