Character in literature plays an important role in constructing human identity. One of the characters in the literature is the Islamic character values. The Islamic character consists of four aspects namely faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), muamalah, and morals. The novel Markesot Bertutur is one of the novels that has Islamic character values. In this novel, there are 21 values of faith, 13 values of morals, and 188 values of worship.

Student intelligence in general is not distinguished by gender. However, some results of cognitive ability tests found these differences. The purpose of this study was to identify the critical thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students based on gender. The critical thinking indicator refers to the Cornell Critical Thinking Test Level X. The selection of participants was carried out with consideration because the researcher had obtained permission from the principal of SDN Giwangan, parents, and had received approval from students so they were willing to be studied (convenience sampling). The sample consisted of 28 males and 17 females (N = 45). Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, range, and t-test. The findings show statistically significant differences in the mean critical thinking scores between male and female. The results of the study have implications for elementary school teachers who facilitate the learning process to develop critical thinking skills by applying different learning experiences. Teachers can follow up by considering differences in learning experiences based on the scope of the subject matter, the sequence of skills that are trained on students, and various choices of learning activities that develop critical thinking skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur puisi dan potret sosial sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk merelevansikan potret sosial masyarakat Indonesia dalam sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado dengan pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kumpulan puisi Kerygma Martyria karya Remy Sylado. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah potret sosial dan relevansinya dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA dalam sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata yang termuat dalam sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pembacaan dan pencatatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pembacaan semiotika Michael Riffaterre dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra Rene Wellek Austin Warren. Berdasarkan pembacaan semiotika terhadap sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado disimpulkan beberapa potret sosial masyarakat Indonesia yang meliputi (1) Potret Modernitas di Negara Indonesia yang terdapat dalam sajak “Zaman Azab“, “Di Atas Azab Pena Berpihak”, “Asap Telah Menutup Kota Perkasa” (2) Potret Kolonialisme dan Ekspansi kapitalisme yang terdapat dalam sajak “Origo Mali“, “Cenderamata”, “Uang” (3) Potret kota, Pembangunan, dan Kapitalisme yang terdapat dalam sajak “Pena”, “Pemain Kambing Hitam”, “Si Miskin”, dan “Apakah Negerinya Masih”. Potret sosial dalam sepuluh sajak Remy Sylado relevan dengan pembelajaran sastra di SMA. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ SOCIAL PORTRAIT IN TEN POEMS REMY SYLADO AND RELEVANCE TO LEARNING LITERATURE IN HIGH SCHOOL Abstract This study aimed to describe the structure of the poem and the social portrait in ten poems Remy Sylado. In addition, this study also aimed to relevance of the social portrait of Indonesian society in Remy Sylado’s ten poems with learning literature in high school. Sources of data in this study include the subject adn object. Subject in this study are a collection of poems Kerygma Martyria written by Remy Sylado. Object in this study are a social potrait and relevance to learning literature in high school to ten poems Remy Sylado. The data in this study are words contained in Remy Sylado’s ten poems were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study are reading and writing. Data analysis used Michael Riffaterre semiotic reading by using the sociological literature approach written by Rene Wellek Austin Warren. Based on the semiotic reading of the ten poems Remy Sylado it was discovered portrait Indonesian society which includes (1) Images of modernity in Indonesia contained in the poem "Zaman Azab", "Di Atas Azab Pena Berpihak", and "Asap Telah Menutup Kota Perkasa" (2) Portrait of colonialism and the expansion of capitalism contained in the poem "Origo Mali", "Cenderamata", and "Uang" (3) Images of the city, development, and capitalism contained in the poem "Pena","Pemain Kambing Hitam", "Si Miskin", and "Apakah Negerinya Masih". Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan dan mendeskripsikan proses pengadaan, pemeliharaan dan penghapusan sarana dan prasarana di SMK N 1 Kasihan, Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualita-tif dan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawan-cara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut. Manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan oleh SMK N 1 Kasihan khususnya pada mata pelajar-an produktif adalah manajemen standar. Pengadaan sarana dan prasarana dilakukan setiap akhir tahun dengan menganalisis kebutuhan-kebutuhan yang diperlukan dengan menetap-kan perencanaan untuk jangka satu semester atau satu tahun ke depan dengan memperhati-kan dana yang dimiliki. Pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah, dilakukan dengan pemeliharaan sehari-hari, pemeliharaan secara berkala, dan pemeliharaan yang sifatnya mencegah dari kerusakan. Penghapusan sarana dan prasarana sekolah, sampai saat ini belum pernah melakukan penghapusan barang. Kata kunci: manajemen, sarana dan prasarana

ABSTRACTThis research was a descriptive qualitative research using a hermeneutic approach and was aimed atrevealing the meaning of traditional symbols contained in Yogyakarta-style Srimpi Pandhelori dancecostumes and makeup. The symbols in Srimpi Pandhelori costumes and makeup are the media thattransform noble characters. It is closely related to the character building based on local genious. Therefore,this research is aimed at describing the symbols found in Srimpi Pandhelori dance as an absorptionelement of the noble character values. Every instrument in costumes and makeup represents local wisdomwhich is designed to be a medium of noble character education. The main data collection technique ofthe research was direct observation of Srimpi dance performances strengthened by records. The datawere validated by using credibility techniques by doing 1). observation perseverance, 2). triangulationof methods and sources, 3). peer discussion, and 4). adequacy of references. The data analysis used inthis research was a dialectical hermeneutics approach i.e. the approach where interpretation proceduresto obtain meaning uses elements of analysis from Madisson called a normative method consisting ofcoherence, comprehensiveness, contextuality, penetration, and appropriateness. The results show thateach instrument in costumes and make up of Srimpi Pandhelori dance pattern contains symbols. Thesesymbols contain educational values, namely: the value of self-control education, the value of educationabout accuracy, the value of Godhead education.Keywords: values, Srimpi Pandhelori, hermeneuticABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatanhermeneutik, bertujuan untuk mencari makna dari simbol-simbol tradisi dalam rias dan busanatari srimpi Pandhelori gaya Yogyakarta. Simbol-simbol dalam rias dan busana tari srimpi Pandhelorimerupakan media mentransformasikan budi pekerti luhur. Hal tersebut berkaitan erat denganpembagunan karakter yang didasarkan pada local genious. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian inimencoba menguraikan simbol-simbol dalam tari Srimpi Pandhelori sebagai unsur serapan nilainilaibudi pekerti luhur. Setiap insrumen dalam rias busana merupakan representasi kearifanlokal yang dimaksudkna menjadi media pendidikan budi pekerti luhur. Teknik pengumpulandata yang utama adalah pengamatan secara langsung pertunjukan tari Srimpi yang diperkuatdengan rekaman. Untuk keabsahan datanya menggunakan teknik kredibilitas yang dilakukandengan cara: 1). ketekunan pengamatan, 2). trianggulasi metode dan sumber, 3). diskusi sejawat,4). kecukupan referensi. Sementara analisis datanya menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutikadialektis, dimana prosedur penafsiran dalam rangka memperoleh makna menggunakan unsurunsuranalisis dari Madisson yang disebutnya sebagai metode normatif, terdiri dari coherence,comprehensiveness, contextuality, penetration, appropriateness. Hasil penelitian menunjukan setiapinstrumen dalam rias dan busana dalam tari Srimpi Pandhelori merupakan simbol. Dalamsimbol tersebut mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan yaitu: nilai pendidikan pengendalian diri,nilai pendidikan tentang kecermatan, nilai pendidikan Ketuhanan.Kata Kunci: Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan, Srimpi Pandhelori, hermeneutik

Pathet is one of the most important parts in a puppet performance. Unfortunately, discussions about pathets, especially from a metaphysical perspective are very rarely found so that the wayang metaphysics is not comprehensive. This study examines the metaphysical dimensions in the puppet performance pathet in Anton Bakker's metaphysical perspective, with the aim to complete the existing puppet metaphysics studies. This research uses the methodical method of assessment, namely interpretation; induction and deduction; internal coherence; holistic; historical continuity; idealization; comparison; heuristics; inclusive or analogous language; and description, and reflection. The results of this study indicate that: first, pathet is a representation of the concept of harmony in puppet shows. Pathet is a transcendental ontological norm in puppet shows. Transcendental ontological norms, in the perspective of Anton Bakker's ontology thinking, are called harmony. In other words, it can be said that the pathet is a representation of harmony or ontological norms that apply in a puppet show. All aesthetic elements of the show are returned to the pathet, and must remain in the corridor of the applicable pathet.

Negara Indonesia dengan penduduk yang multietnis perlu mengupayakan bagaimana membangun sikap menjauhi prasangka SARA (suku, agama, ras dan antar golongan), agar memiliki sikap untuk saling toleransi, menerima dan menghormati perbedaan. Hal itu dilakukan antara lain melalui pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), pada khususnya pembelajaran tari dianggap strategis sebagai alat pendidikan multikultural di sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana Sekolah Mengah Atas Yogyakarta menterjemahkan kurikulum 2013 dalam pembelajaran tari, bagaimana memaknai empat sifat multilingual, multidimensi, multikultural, dan multikecerdasan dalam dimensi koqnitif, affektif, dan motorik. Artikel ini difokuskan untuk mengkritisi praktik pembelajaran tari sebagai alat pendidikan dan bermanfaat untuk menyemai nilai multikultural agar siswa mempunyai sikap toleransi dan apresiatif terhadap keberagaman budaya Indonesia. Observasi dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Yogyakarta dengan metode purposive sumpling, mendiskripsikan, dan mengidentifikasi sekolah yang menyelenggarakan pembelajaran tari dalam perspektif multikultural. Selain itu dengan kriteria menggunakan kurikulum 2013, materi tari yang diajarkan berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia terutama pembelajaran penciptaan tari kelompok, siswa berasal dari beberapa daerah termasuk dari desa dan kota. Hasil pengamatan bagaimana menyemai atau menanamkan nilai multikultural perlu digali dan diupayakan terus menerus melalui pembelajaran penciptaan tari kelompok. Siswa mendapat pengalaman menciptakan tari kelompok, diharapkan akan membentuk karakter kerjasama, kreatif, dan estetis. That language style is the author's way of conveying/expressing thoughts through beautiful language and is usually used to enhance the (beauty) of a literary work. The assumption is expressed in a specific context, by a specific person, and for a specific purpose, and is able to give an impression of an atmosphere that touches the reader's emotional power. The purpose of this research is to analyze how the style of language in the poem Siding Fakir Empunya Kata Karya Hamzah Fansuri, the approach used in this research is a qualitative method with the main data source being the poem Siding Fakir Empunya Kata Karya Hamzah Fansuri. The data collection technique used in this research is a literature study. The results of this research in the Poems of the Fakir Sessions Empunya Kata Karya Hamzah Fansuri there are four language styles, namely Hyperbole, Simile, Personification and Metaphor.

This study aims to determine the representation of the ecological crisis found in the Rawa Gambut drama script written by Conie Sema. This qualitative descriptive research used an ecocritical approach. The data are in the form of words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs that contain information on ecological conditions. Textual analysis was used to examine the data. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques with heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The results showed the themes within the drama script as an ecological crisis in Indonesia due to unfriendly environmental development policies. The representation of the ecological crisis are: 1) ideal ecological conditions are maintained if the utilization pattern is wise and responsible, 2) the ecological crisis is closely related to human intervention, 3) humans are the main cause of ecological disasters, 4) there is a disregard for environmental wisdom principles in the use of sustainable living space, 5) the moral message is the importance of awareness to maintain environmental sustainability, and finally, 6) the author offers an ecocentric paradigm to oppose the ideology of anthropocentrism, which is still the dominant perspective in the natural resource management. This study has implications, along with the importance of educational efforts, to raise awareness of environmental sustainability through drama scripts.
