Abstract

Kinerja ekonomi sub sektor perikanan tangkap mengalami gangguan akibat adanya pembatasan sosial di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Agar aktivitasdan kinerja ekonomi perikanan kembali ditingkatkan, serta potensi sumberdaya lestari ikan dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, maka diperlukan optimalisasi seluruh potensi sumberdaya yang tersedia dan usaha penangkapan ikan di Kecamatan Dampal Utara Kabupaten Tolitoli.Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh perubahan faktor ekonomi akibat pandemi Covid-19 terhadap optimalisasi kinerja usaha perikanan tangkap dari sisi pendapatan.Sasaran nelayan dan usaha perikanan tangkap meliputi pancing tonda, pancing ulur, pukat pantai, dan pukat cincin.Metodeanalisis yang digunakan adalah analisis Linear Programmingdan analisis sensitivitas terhadap perubahan harga ikan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan terbesar diperoleh nelayan tangkap pukat cincin (purse seine), sedangkan jumlah pendapatan terkecil diperoleh nelayan alat tangkap pukat pasang. Perbedaan besarnya pendapatan dipengaruhi oleh harga ikan, jenis dan volume ikan serta ketersediaan tenaga kerja dan jenis alat tangkap yang digunakan.Pada kondisi basis pendapatan yang diperoleh dapat dimaksimumkan sebesar 0,14%, sedangkan pada saat dilakukan simulasi kebijakan kondisi new normal dimana harga ikan komoditas ekspor kembali normal menyebabkan pendapatan maksimum naik hingga 2,6%. Guna meningkatkan kinerja usaha perikanan diperlukan upaya memulihkan pasar komoditi perikanan dalam jangkauan yang lebih luas.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan frekuensi pemberian pakan dan mengetahui frekuensi pemberian pakan yang optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan Rasio Konversi Pakan (FCR) udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Bulan Januari 2024. Penelitian dilakukan di Balai Benih Ikan Pantai (BBIP) Kampal Instalasi Mamboro, Kelurahan Mamboro, Kota Palu, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini didesain menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 20 unit percobaan. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (Anova) dan uji lanjut menggunakan uji beda nyata jujur (BNJ), sedangkan data kualitas air dan kelangsungan hidup dianalisis secara deskriptif. Frekuensi pemberian pakan yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan mutlak udang vanname (Litopenaeus vannamei) dan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap pertumbuhan harian rata-rata udang vanname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Pertumbuhan mutlak dan pertumbuhan harian rata-rata pada frekuensi pemberian pakan 8 kali/hari lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan frekuensi pemberian pakan 2 kali/hari, 4 kali/hari dan 6 kali/hari. Frekuensi pemberian pakan yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap rasio konversi pakan (FCR). FCR pada frekuensi pemberian pakan 8 kali/hari lebih rendah dibandingkan pada frekuensi pemberian pakan 2 kali/hari, 4 kali/hari dan 6 kali/hari. Tingkat kelangsungan hidup udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) pada frekuensi pemberian pakan 4 kali/hari lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan frekuensi pemberian pakan 8 kali/hari, 2 kali/hari dan 6 kali/hari. Frekuensi pemberian pakan yang baik yaitu pada frekuensi pemberian pakan 8 kali/hari yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan mutlak tinggi, pertumbuhan harian rata-rata tinggi dan FCR yang rendah.Kata Kunci: Vaname, Frekuensi, Pertumbuhan, FCRABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of different feeding frequencies and determine the optimal feeding frequency for growth and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). This study was designed using a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replicates, so that 20 experimental units were obtained. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova) and further test using honest real difference test (BNJ), while water quality and survival data were analyzed descriptively. Different feeding frequencies had a significant effect (P0.05) on absolute growth of vanname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) and very significant effect (P0.01) on average daily growth of vanname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). Absolute growth and average daily growth at a feeding frequency of 8 times/day higher than the frequency of feeding 4 times / day, 6 times/day and 2 times/day. Different feeding frequency had a very significant effect (P0.01) on feed conversion ratio (FCR). FCR at a feeding frequency of 8 times/day was lower than at a feeding frequency of 4 times/day, 6 times/day and 2 times/day. The survival rate of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) at a feeding frequency of 4 times/day is higher than the feedingfrequency of 8 times/day, 2 times/day and 6 times/day. The best feeding frequency is at a feeding frequency of 8 times/day which results in absolute growth, high average daily growth and low FCR. Keywords: Frequency, Growth, FCR

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to know the supervision and law enforcement in the management of fisheries resources in WPPNRI 713, Central Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted in September - October 2022. The sample used was a sample of the WPPNRI 713 Fishermen community in Donggala Regency. This study uses a qu(2024)alitative method. Data collection by means of sampling includes observation activities, in-depth interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation studies. Using Descriptive Qualitative data analysis method with percentage distribution tabulation. The results of the research show that the supervision of fish resource management in WPPNRI 713, especially in the province of Sulawesi, has not been maximized, the institutions have not been maximized, the FADs have not been arranged and while the use of fishing gear has shown compliance of around 50% more in accordance with laws and regulations.

Abstract

Pakan mandiri berbahan baku lokal menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi harga pakan dikalangan petani lokal. Hingga saat ini tepung ikan menjadi bahan utama sebagai sumber protein dalam pembuatan pakan. Selain sulit untuk didapatkan, harga tepung ikan juga semakin meningkat. Pemanfaatan hasil samping pengolahan ikan patin dalam bentuk tepung diharapkan dapat menekan penggunaan tepung ikan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung hasil samping pengolahan ikan patin sebagai pensubstitusi tepung ikan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila. Benih ikan nila (bobot 1,81±0,04 g) diperoleh dari Balai Benih Ikan Sentral Tulo, Kabupaten Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah. Perlakuan yang diujikan yakni penggunaan tepung hasil samping pengolahan ikan patin dengan dosis berbeda yakni 0% (A), 10% (B), 20% (C), 30% (D) dan 40% (E) dari penggunaan tepung ikan (28 g). Pemeliharaan dilakukan dalam wadah (berisi 20 L air) selama 42 hari. Pakan diberikan 5% dari bobot tubuh dengan frekuensi tiga kali sehari. Bobot tubuh ikan ditimbang sekali dalam seminggu. Kualitas air dikontrol pada kisaran yang sesuai untuk pemeliharaan ikan nila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan (pertambahan bobot individu) ikan nila berkisar antara 2,79 g - 3,17 g, feed conversion ratio (FCR) berkisar antara 1,62-1,68, dan survival rate (SR) berkisar antara 75,0-77,5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tepung hasil samping pengolahan ikan patin sebagai sumber protein hewani dalam mensubstitusi protein dari tepung ikan sebagai bahan baku pakan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan, FCR dan SR ikan nila (p>0,05). Dosis tepung hasil samping pengolahan ikan patin yang dapat digunakan yakni 40% dari tepung ikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sicyopus zosterophorus (Gobiidae) has a habitat in clear and fast-flowing rivers. This fish species is found in several rivers in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, one of which is the Bohi River. Studies on the type of food S. zosterophorus in the Bohi River have never been carried out. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research that aims to determine the type of food S. zosterophorus in nature as important information for life history and feeding in controlled habitats. This research was carried out from December 2019 to January 2020. The fishing was done using a scoop net by snorkeling to get fish at the bottom of the river. The fish obtained were then preserved using 5% formalin and then taken to the laboratory for identification of digestive tract contents. Data on the composition and percentage of types of food in the digestive tract were processed using Microsoft Excel 2010 and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the contents of the digestive tract of S. zosterophorus were dominated by insects (74%), crustaceans (7%), plants (5%), and phytoplankton (3%). The contents of the digestive tract were not identified as much as 11%. Based on this, S. zosterophorus in the Bohi River is categorized as stenophagic and is a carnivorous fish, especially insectivorous and phytobenthic eaters. Abstract

The village of Tulorantea is one of the villages where the community is engaged in tilapia fish farming. The tilapia fingerlings used are generally imported from other regions at a relatively high cost ( Rp. 1000/individual with a size of 3-5 cm), and they are often ordered in large quantities. This situation poses a threat to the sustainability of small-scale tilapia farming. In addition, the profits obtained by fish farmers at the end of the cultivation period are relatively low. One of the efforts to address this issue is the use of self-produced fingerlings. This can be achieved successfully if the breeding process of tilapia is well understood by the farmers. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to provide farmers with an understanding of the proper methods for tilapia breeding to produce self-produced fingerlings and strategies for marketing quality fishery products. This activity is conducted in the form of counseling, with participants from the village government and fish farmers. Two weeks after the counseling, 100 potential breeders (25 males and 75 females) and net cages for acclimatizing the potential breeders are handed over to the fish farmers. The results of the activity show that the fish farmers are very enthusiastic about participating in the program and becoming involved in tilapia breeding to produce self-produced fingerlings to support their farming activities. In conclusion, problem-based counseling activities aimed at addressing the challenges faced by fish farmers have increased the enthusiasm of fish farmers in their efforts to achieve optimal production.

Abstract

Biofloc technology requires an additional carbon source (molasses) to balance the C/N ratio to support the bacteria's performance. The application of molasses should be done with sufficient time and concentration to guarantee the excellent condition of the floc. This study aims to determine the appropriate frequency of molasses application for the growth of siamese catfish (P. hypophthalmus) using Biofloc System Technology. The study used a completely randomized design of flour treatments and five replications. The frequency of molasses application was aimed to find the optimum results of applying it once a day (A), every two days (B), every three days (C), and every four days (D), each in the corresponding experimental units. The experiment was carried out in 35 days. The feed given was 5% of body weight, with a feeding frequency of twice daily. The results showed no difference in growth (weight) and feed efficiency for all treatments. However, it was found that the amount and nutrient content of the formed floc were more stable when molasses was given at a frequency every two days (treatment B) until the sixth week compared to other treatments. In conclusion, the frequency of giving molasses for flock growth twice a day can be applied for siamese catfish using the Biofloc system.

Abstract

Kawasan permukiman transmigrasi Kota Palu terletak di Bulupountu Jaya Kabupaten Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah, dihuni transmigran dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia termasuk Pulau Jawa, NTT, NTB dan Sulawesi yang difasilitasi dengan tempat tinggal dan lahan untuk usaha pertanian. Dengan pemberian lahan pertanian tersebut, setiap warga transmigran melakukan budidaya tanaman sayuran sehingga kawasan tersebut menjadi salah satu sentra pertanaman sayuran yang mensuplai kebutuhan sayuran Masyarakat di kota Palu. Namun terdapat beberapa hambatan agronomis dalam mengusahakan tanaman sayur-sayuran yaitu kondisi keterbatasan kesuburan tanah, serta adanya serangan hama dan penyakit. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan penerapan beberapa tindakan agronomi yang tepat. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk melatih petani membuat dan mengaplikasikan pestisida biorasional untuk pengendalian hama dan penyakit tanaman sayuran dalam mendukung green economy. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pelatihan dan penerapan teknologi yang dilakukan secara partisipatif. Hasil yang dicapai adalah masyarakat mengetahui teknik pembuatan dan pengaplikasian pestisida biorasional berbahan baku tumbuhan kirinyuh Choromolaena odorata L., sehingga produk sayuran yang dihasilkan tidak mengandung residu bahan kimia sintetis sehingga menjadi sehat bila dikonsumsi, serta dalam jangka waktu yang panjang lingkungan pertanian tetap dapat terjaga dalam mendukung green economy.

Abstract

This activity aims to increase public awareness regarding the importance of managing waste using reduce, reuse and recycle methods. The implementation method starts from the introduction of the concept, the problem solving stage includes identifying possible factors that cause low community participation in waste management, obstacles in realizing increased public awareness in waste management, follow-up plans for identified problems, implementation forms of the solutions offered. and evaluation. The coaching stage is related to the implementation of waste management. The results of the implementation of activities where the community has understood the method and its application in managing waste that is around it according to its type. Increased public knowledge about how to reduce waste and its management to improve environmental quality. Socialization about waste management using reduce, reuse and recycle methods can increase community participation in minimizing the accumulation of waste around the living environment.

Abstract

Spiny lobster species Panulirus versicolor and P. femoristriga in Donggala waters are reported to experience growth overfishing and recruitment overfishing. If this phenomenon continues, it will gradually reduce the spiny lobster population and result in an overall population decline. Information on reproductive biology is needed in the formulation of management and conservation policies for spiny lobsters in Donggala Waters, Central Sulawesi Province. The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze aspects of reproductive biology such as sex ratio, length-weight relationship, and spiny lobster condition factors. The research was conducted from July to December 2020 in the waters of Kabonga Village, Banawa Subdistrict, and Limboro Village, Central Banawa Subdistrict, Donggala District, Central Sulawesi Province. Reproductive biology data analysis applies several analytical models such as Chi-square, linear regression, Fulton condition factor, and Withney-Mann Test. The results showed no difference in sex ratio (balanced population) with negative allometric growth pattern and Fulton's condition factor in good condition (wellbeing) throughout the study in both P. versicolor and P. femoristriga. Population balance is important to ensure the continuity of recruitment, which is supported by adequate food availability, thus maintaining the stability of the spiny lobster population.
