Abstract

Popular fiqh literature addresses practical aspects of life. A considerable portion of this literature portrays women within a conservative framework. This research aims to investigate the tendency of spousal relationships as depicted in those popular fiqh literature. Subsequent to cataloging, a random selection of literary samples underwent qualitative content analysis. The findings revealed that popular fiqh literature on the household, especially on marital relations, is dominated by gender biased discourse by placing women only in the domestic realm where their position is inferior. This dominance stems from the authors’ references projecting back to the provisions of classical fiqh, which are gender biased and lack authoritative interpretation of the texts. The presence of this literature is also due to the market demands of the publishing industry. Furthermore, societal understanding dominated by patriarchal ideology contributes significantly to the prevalence of gender-biased popular fiqh literature.[Abstrak: Literatur fiqh populer mengatasi aspek praktis kehidupan.

Abstract

Stevia plant, as an alternative to sugarcane, is a plant that is susceptible to drought. The growth and yield of the stevia plant is highly dependent on the availability of sufficient water and nutrients. To get optimal crop yields is necessary to pay attention to the water needs of the stevia-growing media. The right intensity of watering and using organic fertilizers are efforts that can be done to prevent drought. This study aimed to determine the effect of vermicompost and water application intervals on the growth and yield of stevia plants. A divided plot design was used in this study with 12 treatment combinations with three replications. The basic pattern of completely randomized design (CRD) consists of 2 factors with three replications. The main plot is the interval of giving water (I), namely I1 = 1 day, once, I2 = once every 2 days, I3 = once every 3 days and Subplots, namely the dose of vermicompost, consist of 4 levels, namely V0 = 0 tons/ha, V1 = 5 tons /ha, V2 = 10 tons/ha, V3 = 15 tons/ha. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance. The significant difference between treatments is determined using Duncan's Multiple Distance Test at 5%. The best watering interval is the interval of giving once every three days and vermicompost 5 tons/ha.

Abstract

This study investigated the impact of different coffee processing methods, the natural method, and fermentation with yellow, red, and black honey methods on the bioactive compounds of Arabica coffee using a Randomized Complete Block Design in five replicate experiments. The antioxidant activity, phenolic, flavonoid, caffeine, total soluble solid content, and pH value were determined. The results showed that the honey processing method could improve bioactive compounds more than the natural method, with higher levels of antioxidants, phenolic, flavonoid, and total soluble solid contents but lower caffeine content and pH value. Arabica coffee-treated yellow honey exhibited the highest Increase in antioxidant activity. These findings suggest that coffee-treated yellow honey could be a functional food.

Abstract

Lactic acid bacteria are bacteria used to ferment food. Molecular identification of isolates of lactic acid bacteria has a high degree of accuracy compared to morphological identification. This study aimed to molecularly identify isolates of lactic acid bacteria from broiler chickens. Molecular identification is carried out in 3 stages, namely: rRNA gene amplification stage, squencing and phylogeny tree. PCR electrophoresis results obtained amplicone results measuring about 1,500 bp. The results of BLAST analysis showed that the gen 16S rRNA sequence of BR 17 lactic acid bacteria isolate had a 97-98% similarity with the genome sequence of the Lactobacillus fermentum strain.  Development of phylogenetic tree isolates of single clusters of lactic acid bacteria BR 17 with strains of Lactobacillus fermentum CAU2036, Lactobacillus fermentum JCM 7772, and Lactobacillus fermentum 10-18. The identification results of lactic acid bacteria isolate BR 17 showed Lactobacillus fermentum BR 17.

Abstract

The power conversion from direct current voltage (dc) to alternating current voltage (ac) is called an inverters generally produces a voltage or current waveform that has not approached the sinusoid or in other words, the wave still has ripple or distortion waveform with hight Total Harmonic Distortion (THD )value. One of the factors that influence the resulting inverter waveform is the inverter switchs triggering system. The PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) pulse generation method is a proposed way to solve this problem. To produce a three-phase voltage system, it takes 3 identical power converter circuits but has a different ignition system of 1200 phases for each inverter circuit. The simulation results show that the inverter with an input voltage of 24 V produces three voltage waves of 230/340 V with a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) content value of 3.565%.

Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia recognized the importance of intellectual property in folklore since the 1982 Copyright Law was enacted (Article 10 of Law No. 6/1982). The study seeks to understand what obstacles Indonesia faces in protecting tribal peoples' communal rights over traditional cultural expressions, also called expressions of folklore in the digital age, and how other nations are resolving them. What is Indonesia's plan for developing and safeguarding traditional cultural manifestations in the digital age, as seen from other nations? The study employs a case-based, normative legal research methodology. The findings, an urgent need for specific institutions that control access benefit sharing from usage by foreign parties, as well as a special anti-theft task force for communal intellectual property rights in the digital era that takes the form of a support organization for tribal peoples. To increase cooperation in the inventorying and documentation of Tribal peoples who own collective intellectual property, optimization also calls for coordination of involvement between the federal government, local governments, and autonomous bodies operating under them, such as the Ministry of Tourism, the Creative Economy Agency, and Tribal peoples' organizations.

Abstract

Vegetative propagation by cut-grafting has the advantage of being able to obtain seeds that inherit two superior traits from two scion clones in a relatively short time. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using orthotropic and plagiotropic rootstocks applied by Bacillus and Pseudomonas on the early growth of robusta coffee seedlings from cut grafting. The method used was by using a completely randomized factorial design with 2 factors and was   repeated 3 times. The first factor was the use of rootstock cuttings which consisted of 2 levels, which were S1 (orthotropic stem) and S2 (plagiotropic stem). The second factor was the concentration of Bacillus and Pseudomonas which consisted of 5 levels, which were B0 (0 ml/L), B1 (20 ml/L), B2 (40 ml/L), B3 (60 ml/L) and B4 (80 ml/L). The results showed that (1) there was no interaction between the use of variatic rootstock and the application of the biological agent (2) The use of orthotropic rootstock increased plant growth, that is the number of primary roots and the number of leaves and (3) Application of the biological agent of Bacillus and Pseudomonas with concentrations of B4 increased seedling growth on all observed parameters except the number of shoots. Based on the results of this research, the benefit for coffee planters is to obtain alternative planting materials, namely from orthotropic branches. For further research, the use of orthotropic branch planting material as a scion plant can be investigated.
