Abstract

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia recognized the importance of intellectual property in folklore since the 1982 Copyright Law was enacted (Article 10 of Law No. 6/1982). The study seeks to understand what obstacles Indonesia faces in protecting tribal peoples' communal rights over traditional cultural expressions, also called expressions of folklore in the digital age, and how other nations are resolving them. What is Indonesia's plan for developing and safeguarding traditional cultural manifestations in the digital age, as seen from other nations? The study employs a case-based, normative legal research methodology. The findings, an urgent need for specific institutions that control access benefit sharing from usage by foreign parties, as well as a special anti-theft task force for communal intellectual property rights in the digital era that takes the form of a support organization for tribal peoples. To increase cooperation in the inventorying and documentation of Tribal peoples who own collective intellectual property, optimization also calls for coordination of involvement between the federal government, local governments, and autonomous bodies operating under them, such as the Ministry of Tourism, the Creative Economy Agency, and Tribal peoples' organizations.

Abstract

Vegetative propagation by cut-grafting has the advantage of being able to obtain seeds that inherit two superior traits from two scion clones in a relatively short time. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using orthotropic and plagiotropic rootstocks applied by Bacillus and Pseudomonas on the early growth of robusta coffee seedlings from cut grafting. The method used was by using a completely randomized factorial design with 2 factors and was   repeated 3 times. The first factor was the use of rootstock cuttings which consisted of 2 levels, which were S1 (orthotropic stem) and S2 (plagiotropic stem). The second factor was the concentration of Bacillus and Pseudomonas which consisted of 5 levels, which were B0 (0 ml/L), B1 (20 ml/L), B2 (40 ml/L), B3 (60 ml/L) and B4 (80 ml/L). The results showed that (1) there was no interaction between the use of variatic rootstock and the application of the biological agent (2) The use of orthotropic rootstock increased plant growth, that is the number of primary roots and the number of leaves and (3) Application of the biological agent of Bacillus and Pseudomonas with concentrations of B4 increased seedling growth on all observed parameters except the number of shoots. Based on the results of this research, the benefit for coffee planters is to obtain alternative planting materials, namely from orthotropic branches. For further research, the use of orthotropic branch planting material as a scion plant can be investigated.

Abstract

Leeks (Allium fistulosum L.) are short-lived horticultural crops and have great commercial potential. The productivity of leeks in Indonesia, especially in the East Java region, is experiencing fluctuations, this is due to the problem of decreasing soil fertility. The use of inorganic fertilizers is one of the causes of decreasing soil fertility where the use of inorganic fertilizers in Indonesia reached 105.22 kg/ha, being the highest use compared to several countries in Southeast Asia. Therefore, I offer a solution to this problem, namely by combining the use of inorganic fertilizer with organic fertilizer, for this you can use urea fertilizer and vermicompost fertilizer, where vermicompost fertilizer has advantages compared to other compost fertilizers in terms of complete content starting from microorganisms, growth hormones, and nutrients. The aim of the research I conducted was to determine the interaction of applying urea fertilizer and vermicompost on the growth and yield of leek plants (Allium fistulosum L). The research was conducted at the Green House using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factors, each of which had 3 levels and was repeated 3 times to obtain 27 plant units. The first factor was a vermicompost dose of 0 g/polybag, 75 g/polybag, and 150 g/polybag, while the second factor was a urea dose of 0 g/polybag, 1 g/polybag, and 2 g/polybag. The experimental results showed that the best dose for the combined interaction of vermicompost and urea fertilizer treatment was 75 g/polybag vermicompost and 2 g/polybag urea to increase the number of leaves and height of leek plants.

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is a vegetable commodity that contributes greatly to horticultural production and inflantion levels. The use of superior seeds is expected to produce maximum shallot production. The majority of Indonesian farmers use 30% of the harvested tubers as planting material, with production costs being quite expensive. Many shallot farmers also experience several problems with tuber seeds that are hollow and damaged. True Shallot Seeds can be an efficient and profitable altervative planting material. Implementing TSS shallot cultivation is considered difficult and requires longer time for sowing. Soaking seeds using Gibberelin can have a physiological effect on the germination process. Seedling media factor with a certain composition are needed to produce maximum seeds. The experiment was carried out in factorial manner using Random Design Complete  with three replications. The GA3 concentration factor has four treatment levels: G0 = 0 ppm/control, G1 = 2 ppm, G2 = 4 ppm, and G3 = 6 ppm. The seedling media composition factors has four treatment levels: M0 = soil + compost/control (1:1), M1 = cocopeat + compost (1:1), M2 = husk charcoal + compost (1:1), and M3 = sand + compost (1:1). The data analysis used was Analysis of Variance, if there were significant differences between the treatments, a further tes was carried out using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at the 5% level. The result showed that the interaction between GA3 concentration treatment and seedling media composition and the single factor GA3 concentration had no significant effect on all observed variables. The composition of the seedling media has a significant effect on the speed of seed growth, seed height, root length, and seed wet weight with optimum results for germination and vegetative growth of TSS seeds, namely the compositionof soil+compost/control (M0) seedling media on the variables of seed growth speed (%/etmal), seed height (cm), and seed wet weight (gram).

Abstract

One of the causes of low productivity in cucumber plants is due to low soil quality due to low organic matter content and high sandy soil mixture. Considering this, it is necessary to try to improve it. So, there is a need for research that examines the addition of organic matter and combines sandy media with paddy soil. This research took place in Pecoro Village, Jember Regency from May 2022 to July 2022. The research method was in the form of a Completely Randomized Design with the first treatment, namely the addition of baglog waste compost and cow manure (K1); baglog waste compost and goat manure (K2); and compost baglog waste and chicken manure (K3). While the second treatment is sandy planting media consisting of: sand 100% (M0); 75% sand + 25% paddy soil (M1); 50% sand + 50% paddy soil (M2); and 25% sand + 75% paddy soil (M3). The observed variables included plant height, total fruit weight, fruit unit weight, fruit length and fruit diameter which were tested by means of variance and Duncan's Multiple Range test. The results showed that the treatment of compost, sandy planting media, and their interactions had a significant effect on the observed variables. The recommendations given based on the results of the analysis for cucumber cultivation are the need to add organic matter such as compost mixed with baglog waste and manure from cow, goat and chicken manure with a ratio of 25% sandy planting medium to 75% paddy soil.

Abstract

Introduction to the Problem: The history of the formation of the LAPS SJK is based on the importance of consumer protection in the financial services sector. According to the law concerning the role of the Financial Service Authority, the institution is given the authority to facilitate the settlement of complaints from consumers who are harmed by the finance actors. The OJK then issued regulation (POJK) Number 1/POJK.07/2014 concerning Alternative Dispute Resolution Institutions in the Financial Services Sector (LAPS SJK) which was later replaced by regulation Number 61/POJK.07/2020.Purpose/Objective Study: This research examines, how is the history of the LAPS SJK formation and how is the legal politics of the formation.Design/methodology/Approach: This research is normative, using a historical approach. It applies a descriptive method with the secondary data.Findings: The interesting finding is that the establishment of LAPS SJK is to protect consumers in the event of a dispute with the financial actors, so the legal politics regulating the LASP SJK should be an integrated part of the political scheme of consumer protection law. Institutionally, the legal politics of establishing LAPS SJK is motivated by 3 (three) reasons. The initial reason is the establishment of OJK which has a determinant role and function to supervise integrated financial services business activities for the capital market, banking, and non-banking sectors. Another reason is the reality of the advanced development of technology in the global financial services sector, and the last reason is the need of the parties involved in the financial services sector industry; both consumers and finance actors who need an ideal non-court dispute resolution institution.Paper Type: Research Article
