The aim of this research is to describe the level of ability to write news texts for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 47 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research that uses data derived from written skills tests. Then, the data that has been obtained is expressed in the form of numbers. The methods used to collect data in this research were observation techniques and writing skills tests by assigning students to write news texts. The population in this study was the entire class VIII students of SMP Negeri 47 Pekanbaru, totaling 148 people who were divided into 4 classes. The sample in this study consisted of 40 students. The results of this research show that the ability to write news texts for class VIII at SMP Negeri 47 was obtained on average in the medium category. In the title suitability aspect, the average score of the sample students is in the high category with a score of 86. In the news headline aspect, the average score of the sample students is in the high category with a score of 83. In the news body aspect, the average score of the sample students is in the medium category with a score of 80 and in the news tail aspect, the average score of the sample students is in the medium category with a score of 61.

Writing and publication of scientific papers (KTI) among teachers is still very concerning. This is indicated by the low productivity of teachers in writing and publishing scientific papers. This condition is in accordance with the statement of one of the teachers at the partner's place who stated that there are very few teachers who can write. Therefore, training is needed that can facilitate teachers to be able to improve their competence. This KTI writing training is very important for teachers because it can be a form of continuous professional development in promotion or class which can also improve teacher welfare. From the survey data before the training, participants had difficulty in compiling an appropriate research design and choosing the right analysis method. Participants were often unsure how to analyze the data and interpret the results. Participants often had difficulty in compiling logical conclusions and relevant recommendations. The results of the survey after the training showed a significant increase in understanding of the structure and objectives of scientific papers. Participants were able to present the background of the research more clearly and coherently after the training. Participants showed increased competence in compiling research designs and choosing the right analysis methods. Participants were more confident in analyzing data and interpreting results after participating in training for elementary school teachers in Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency.

This research is a type of research and development (RD). The problem formulation in this research is how to develop procedures, quality and practicality of smart card-based learning media with a make a match model in procedural text material in high school. The test subjects in this research were class XI students at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru, totaling 30 students. The data in this research was obtained from the results of potential and problem analysis as well as limited trials with students. The data sources in this research were obtained from interviews, questionnaire distribution, and literature study. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the context of averages and Pearson product moment correlations. The quality of the make a match model of smart card-based learning media in procedural text material in high school is seen from the results of expert validation analysis and received a very good assessment. Its practicality can be seen from the results of the analysis of student assessments in limited trials and an assessment was obtained in the very good category

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi respon mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Telegram dalam pembelajaran Arab Melayu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis deskripstif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan aplikasi Telegram dalam konteks pembelajaran ini berhasil dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan responsif. Kemampuan Telegram untuk memperbaiki komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen serta antara sesama mahasiswa mencerminkan keberhasilannya sebagai alat pembelajaran yang mendukung proses interaktif. Disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Telegram memberikan dampak yang sangat positif dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran mata kuliah Arab Melayu, menegaskan peran pentingnya sebagai alat bantu pendidikan dalam konteks akademik yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi, memotivasi mahasiswa, menarik minat belajar, serta memfasilitasi komunikasi dan interaksi dalam pembelajaran.

The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of flashcards with captions helps class XI students at SMK Multi Mekanik Masmur in writing poetry. Writing poetry requires the ability to choose the right words, use appropriate language style, and organize ideas well. Initial observations show that many students experience difficulties in this regard. Therefore, researchers use flashcards equipped with images to provide ideas and visual stimuli that help students write poetry more easily. The hope is that with this media students can more easily choose words, determine themes, and create better poetry. The method used in this research is an experiment with a pre-test and post-test design. Two groups of students were selected: an experimental group with picture cards and a control group without picture cards. Before being given treatment, both groups carried out an initial test (pretest) to measure their ability to write poetry. The experimental group was then given learning materials to write poetry using illustrated flashcards, while the control group studied normally without additional media. After the learning process was complete, both groups were given another test (post-test) to see whether their ability to write poetry had improved. Research shows that using picture cards really helps students write poetry. Students who use this media will be able to choose words better and express their emotions more easily in poetry. This also makes it easier to decide on an appropriate topic and language style. In other words, this flashcard media has proven to be effective in improving students' poetry writing abilities.

We would like to express our gratitude to the presence of God Almighty for all His mercy and grace so that this research can be completed well. This research is entitled “The Validity of Developing Digital Comic-Based Learning Media for Learning to Write Short Stories in High Schools”. This research aims to determine the results of the validity or relevance/feasibility of digital comic-based learning media. Product validity is seen from the assessment of material experts, language experts and media experts. This type of research Research and development which refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 steps, namely Analysis (analysis),Design (design/planning), Development (development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation(evaluation). Data used in this researchis quantitative and qualitative data. The research results show that the average value of the validity test calculation is 94% for material experts, 81% for language experts and 91% for media experts. From matter This means that digital comic-based learning media for writing short stories is very relevant and very relevant potential to be used in the learning process, especially short story material so that you can stimulating and improve students' short story writing abilities.

Model pembelajaran problem based learning, dapat memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi bila diterapkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Kemudian pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan uji paired sample t-test, untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh dari model pembelajaran problem based learning. Pada pengujian hipotesis data yang digunakan adalah hasil pretest dan posttest siswa pada kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan bantuan SPSS versi 30 yang diperoleh bahwa nilai thitung sebesar -5,429 karena nilai signifikansi (sig) sebesar 0,001 maka dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kemampuan menulis teks argumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada perbandingan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh rata-rata nilai 80 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yang memperoleh rata-rata nilai 72 hasil yang berbeda yang disebabkan pemberian perlakuan yang berbeda pada masing-masing kelas.

Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan validitas media pembelajaran berbasis digital POWIC pada materi teks deskripsi sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini dikembangkan dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Media pembelajaran ini divalidasi oleh 4 validator yaitu ahli materi, bahasa, media, dan soal. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi dengan skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis digital POWIC pada materi teks deskripsi sekolah menengah pertama valid untuk digunakan dengan persentase 94,5% dan berkategori sangat valid. Kualitas produk media pembelajaran berbasis digital POWIC dilihat dari hasil validasi para ahli, secara keseluruhan memiliki rata-rata 4,72 dengan rata-rata 94,5% berkategori sangat baik/valid.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru. Teks prosedur merupakan teks yang memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, peserta didik sebaiknya menguasai kemampuan menulis teks prosedur. Melalui model pembelajaran snowball throwing yang dirancang dengan konsep permainan kecil, siswa bisa ikut berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas VII.1 berjumlah 29 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan metode penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan. Hasil analisis data melalui uji normalitas menunjukkan data tidak berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas menujnjukkan bahwa data homogen. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata nilai siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan sebesar 52,48 dan meningkat menjadi 77,66 setelah diberikan perlakuan. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa snowball throwing memberikan pengaruh sebesar 20% terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon karena data tidak berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan asymp sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran snowball throwing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur peserta didik.

Kemampuan menulis merupakan daya kreatif yang dihasilkan seseorang untuk menyampaikan pikiran dan perasaannya dalam berbagai aspek seperti, budaya, pendidikan, kesenian dan sebagainya serta dapat memperluas pengetahuan. Metode yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-experimental design bagian one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kartu kata bergambar berbantuan lirik lagu terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 23 siswa yang diperoleh dari simple random sampling dengan cara diundi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan media kartu kata bergambar berbantuan lirik lagu. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis puisi siswa sebelum perlakuan adalah 52,39, sedangkan setelah perlakuan adalah 66,34. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu kata bergambar berbantuan lirik lagu berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Teknologi Pekanbaru.
