Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penyakit tuberkulosis paru merupakan masalah kesehatan yang perlu ditangani dengan baik karena tingkat kematian dan morbiditas yang tinggi. Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah tuberkulosis paru adalah pengobatan yang teratur dan meningkatkan status gizi yang optimal.Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi dari kepatuhan gizi dan asupan obat dengan status gizi pasien TB paru, karena berdasarkan survey pendahuluan pada 10 pasien dengan TB paru di klinik DOTS RSUD. dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu memiliki status malnutrisi dengan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) 16,075 kg / m2.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelasi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan metode recall 3x24 jam pada 70 pasien dengan TB paru di klinik DOTS sebagai subyek penelitian.Hasil: Hasil analisis dengan uji chi-square antara asupan energi, asupan protein, dan kepatuhan obat dengan status gizi menunjukkan nilaip <0,05 sehingga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel.Kesimpulan : Ada hubungan antara asupan protein energi dan kepatuhan obat dengan status gizi pasien TB paru.

Abstract

Pernikahan akan menjadi Bahagia apabila ada kesepakatan diawal yang dibangun berdasarkan cinta dan saying, namun dalam beberapa kasus pernikahan banyak yang terja dengan latar belakang yang berbeda salah satunya adalah perbedaan iman atau keyakinan. Dalam artikel ini, membahasa mengenai strategi pendidikan agama kristen untuk menolong keluarga yang memiliki pasangan hidup yang berbeda iman, di jemaat gsja filipi klaten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam peenelitian ini adalah Metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tekanan-tekanan yang dialami oleh pasangan berbeda iman dalam hal ini Tantangan komunikasi dan pemahaman, Nilai-nilai dan praktik iman yang sulit dilakukan oleh pasangan berbeda iman, Konflik identitas iman pada anak-anak dalam pernikahan berbeda iman, Strategi Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) untuk mengatasi permasalahan pasangan hidup berbeda iman. Teori Welly Pandensolang berdasarkan 1 Korintus 7:12-16 memberikan solusi untuk mempertahankan pernikahan, mengubah pasangan menjadi percaya kepada Yesus, membawa anak-anak beriman kepada Kristus, dan kemungkinan perceraian jika pasangan yang tidak beriman menolak Yesus dan meminta bercerai.

Abstract

Objective: To systematically evaluate current scientific evidence on the association between cadmium (Cd) exposure and the risk of preeclampsia in pregnant women, and to explore underlying mechanisms and population-specific patterns.Methods: This systematic review was conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. Comprehensive literature searches were performed across PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar without time restriction, focusing on the past 15 years. Inclusion criteria encompassed original human studies measuring cadmium exposure—biological, dietary, or environmental—and reporting preeclampsia as an outcome. Risk of bias was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale.Results: Twenty-five eligible studies were included, spanning case-control, cohort, and cross-sectional designs across diverse geographic regions. Most studies found a positive association between cadmium exposure and increased preeclampsia risk, though methodological heterogeneity exists. Proposed mechanisms include cadmium-induced oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, placental insufficiency, and hormonal dysregulation. Evidence also highlights differences in risk based on diet, region, and environmental regulation. However, inconsistencies in exposure metrics and population stratification remain.Conclusion: The cumulative evidence suggests cadmium is a plausible environmental risk factor for preeclampsia. Future research must standardize exposure assessments and address population-specific modifiers. This review provides critical groundwork for hypothesis-driven studies and policy frameworks addressing toxic metal exposure in maternal health.Paparan Kadmium dan Preeklampsia: Tinjauan Sistematis terhadap Risiko Lingkungan pada KehamilanAbstrakTujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan sistematis terhadap bukti ilmiah terkini mengenai hubungan antara paparan kadmium (Cd) dan risiko preeklampsia pada ibu hamil, serta mengeksplorasi mekanisme biologis yang mendasari dan pola risiko spesifik populasi.Metode: Tinjauan sistematis ini disusun berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA. Pencarian literatur dilakukan secara menyeluruh melalui basis data PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar tanpa batasan waktu, dengan fokus pada publikasi 15 tahun terakhir. Kriteria inklusi meliputi penelitian asli pada manusia yang mengukur paparan kadmium—baik secara biologis, dietetik, maupun lingkungan—dan melaporkan preeklampsia sebagai luaran. Risiko bias dinilai menggunakan Newcastle-Ottawa Scale.Hasil: Sebanyak 25 studi memenuhi kriteria dan dianalisis, mencakup desain studi kasus-kontrol, kohort, dan potong lintang dari berbagai wilayah geografis. Mayoritas studi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara paparan kadmium dan peningkatan risiko preeklampsia, meskipun terdapat heterogenitas metodologis. Mekanisme yang diusulkan meliputi stres oksidatif akibat kadmium, disfungsi endotel, insufisiensi plasenta, dan disregulasi hormonal. Bukti juga menunjukkan perbedaan risiko berdasarkan pola diet, lokasi geografis, dan tingkat pengawasan lingkungan. Namun, masih terdapat ketidakkonsistenan dalam metrik paparan dan stratifikasi populasi.Kesimpulan: Bukti kumulatif mendukung bahwa kadmium merupakan faktor risiko lingkungan yang potensial terhadap preeklampsia. Penelitian selanjutnya perlu menstandarkan metode pengukuran paparan dan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor spesifik populasi. Abstract

Background : Cervical cancer remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among women worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Despite the availability of effective screening methods such as Pap smear and HPV testing, participation rates remain suboptimal due to various social, cultural, and systemic barriers. Objective : This study aims to identify effective strategies and key determinants influencing women’s participation in cervical cancer screening across diverse cultural and geographical contexts. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : A narrative synthesis of 12 peer-reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2025 was conducted. Articles were selected based on relevance to cervical cancer screening, including randomized controlled trials, cross-sectional surveys, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. Key themes were extracted and analyzed for trends, effectiveness of interventions, and associated factors Results : Educational interventions, including empowerment programs and narrative media approaches, significantly increased screening knowledge and participation (p < 0.05). Opt-out invitation systems and community-based outreach campaigns demonstrated higher uptake compared with routine invitations. However, substantial gaps persist, particularly among rural and low-income women, due to limited awareness, fear, and cultural stigma. Factors such as education, income, age, parity, and contraceptive use were consistently associated with screening participation. Conclusion/Lesson Learned : Integrated strategies combining education, community empowerment, and opt-out systems effectively enhance cervical cancer screening uptake. Addressing sociocultural and economic barriers through context-specific public health interventions is essential. Further longitudinal studies are needed to evaluate the sustainability of these approaches in improving screening behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of GCG, intellectual capital, and leverage on firm value. In this study, GCG is proxied by the independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, and the audit committee, while intellectual capital is measured using VAIC and leverage is calculated using DAR, and firm value is calculated using Tobin’s Q. The population data in this study consists of consumer goods companies listed on the IDX for the period 2019-2023. The sample in this study was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 52 companies. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. Data collection method employed is documentation method. The data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership, audit committee, and leverage do not affect firm value. Meanwhile, intellectual capital has a positive and significant effect on company value.   Abstrak Studi ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis pengaruh GCG, intelletual capital dan leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pada studi ini GCG diproksikan dengan dewan komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, dan komite audit, sementara itu intellectual capital diukur memakai VAIC dan leverage dihitung dengan DAR, serta nilai perusahaan dihitung dengan Tobin’s Q. Populasi data dalam penelitian ialah perusahaan barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2019-2023. Sampel dalam studi ini ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling diperoleh sebanyak 52 perusahaan. Jenis data yang dipakai dalam studi ini ialah data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dipakai dalam studi ini memakai regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan temuan studi bisa disimpulkan bahwa dewan komisaris independen, kepemilikan institusional, komite audit dan leverage tidak berdampak terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sementara itu intellectual capital berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

HIGHLIGHTS Perinatal ultraprocessed food (UPF) exposure disrupts maternal gut microbiota composition, increasing pro‑inflammatory taxa and systemic endotoxemia. Placental immune activation and oxidative stress represent key mediators linking maternal diet to fetal immune and metabolic programming. Neonatal outcomes include altered regulatory T‑cell development, Th2 immune skewing, allergic sensitization, and early metabolic risk. Integrated dietary counseling, microbiota‑targeted interventions, and public health policies are urgently needed to mitigate transgenerational immune health risks.   ABSTRACT Objective: To synthesize and critically evaluate evidence linking perinatal exposure to ultraprocessed foods (UPFs) with maternal gut dysbiosis, placental inflammation, and neonatal immune programming, and to identify translational implications for perinatal care. Materials and Methods: A systematic narrative review was conducted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, without PROSPERO registration. Literature searches of major databases (2000–March 2025) identified 1,845 records. After screening and eligibility assessment, 20 studies were included. Study quality was appraised using validated tools, and data were synthesized thematically into evidence domains covering maternal microbiota, inflammatory pathways, placental changes, and neonatal immune outcomes. Results: Maternal UPF consumption was associated with gut dysbiosis characterized by reduced microbial diversity, increased pro-inflammatory taxa, and systemic endotoxemia. Elevated inflammatory biomarkers including lipopolysaccharide, interleukin‑6, tumor necrosis factor‑a, and C‑reactive protein were frequently reported. Limited placental studies revealed increased innate immune activation and oxidative stress. Neonatal immune alterations included regulatory T cell suppression, T helper 2 skewing, increased allergic sensitization, and metabolic programming changes. Evidence strength was highest for maternal gut dysbiosis and immune programming but limited for direct placental mechanisms. Translational opportunities include dietary counseling, microbiota-targeted interventions, and public health strategies aimed at improving maternal diet quality. Conclusion: Perinatal exposure to UPFs adversely impacts the maternal gut–placenta–fetal immune axis. Integrated dietary interventions and population-level nutrition policies are urgently needed to mitigate downstream transgenerational immune risk.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is hypertension in pregnancy that affects 2% to 8% of pregnancies worldwide and causes significant maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. In the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, placental hypoxia plays an important role, associated with excessive trophoblast apoptosis resulting in decreased trophoblast and spiral arteries invasion. This placental hypoxic condition will induce increased expression of Hypoxia Inducible Factor -1-Alpha (HIF-1-A). L-Arginine is a potent vasodilator presumably to improve preeclampsia placental hypoxic conditions and reduce HIF-1-A expression. This study was an experimental study with a parallel-group post-test only design. Thirty-six preeclamptic mice models were divided into 2 groups. The control group (K1) 18 preeclamptic mice model without treatment and the treatment group (K2) 18 preeclamptic mice given L-Arginine. The independent variable was the administration of L-Arginine and the dependent variable is the placental HIF-1-A expression. Statistical analysis used unpaired t-test on normal data distribution, and Mann Whitney test on abnormal data distribution. The mean of placental HIF-1-A expression K1 was 2.47 ± 1.65 with a minimum value of 0.4 and a maximum value of 6.6. At K2 0.93 ± 0.55 with a minimum value of 0.0 and a maximum value of 2.0. Statistical tests showed that the placental HIF-1-A expression in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group (p <0.001). In conclusion, the expression of HIF-1-A in preeclamptic mice model placenta decreased with L-Arginine administration.

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a multifactorial syndrome in pregnancy whose cause is still unknown. Several proangiogenic and antiangiogenic mediators such as Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) and Nitrite Oxide (NO) play important roles in preventing preeclampsia. VEGF can increase NO level that lowers maternal blood pressure, improves endothelial function and reduces placental hypoxia in preeclampsia. Recombinant VEGF 121 is expected to be an option in the prevention and treatment of preeclampsia. This experimental study used mice (Mus musculus) as the model. The objective of this study was to observe the effect of recombinant VEGF 121 in increasing the level of nitric oxide in mice (Mus musculus) model of preeclampsia. This was an experimental analytical study with Randomized Control Trial (RCT) design. The study enrolled 27 pregnant mice (Mus musculus) which met the restriction criteria divided into 3 groups. The first group (K1) were 9 normal pregnant mice. The second group (K2) were 9 pregnant mice of preeclampsia model without treatment. The third group (K3) were 9 pregnant mice of preeclampsia model receiving recombinant VEGF 121 therapy. The independent variable was the administration of recombinant VEGF 121 and the dependent variable was the serum NO level. Statistical analysis was performed by using anova statistics. NO level in the first group (K1) was 1.746±0.347, with minimum value of 1.00 µM, and maximum value of 2.28 µM, CI (1.479-2.013). NO level in second group (K2) was 1.167±0.380, with minimum value of 0.64 µM, and maximum value of 1.94 µM, CI (0.875-1.460). NO level in the third group (K3) was 2.164±0.556, with minimum value of 1.56 µM, and maximum value of 5.96 µM, CI (1.842-2.486). With anova statistical test, there were significant differences between K1 group and K2 group (p value=0.004<0.05), K1 group and K3 group (p value=0.000<0.05) as well as K2 group and K3 group (p value=0.029<0.05). In conclusion, Recombinant VEGF 121 increased the level of nitric oxide in mice (Mus musculus) model of preeclampsia significantly.
