Abstract

Developing Industry-Based Job Sheets to Improve Student Competence in Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Tune-Up for the Light Vehicle Engineering Program at SMK Miftahul Huda. The main issue addressed in this study is students' low competency exam scores on EFI system materials, which result from the use of conventional learning media that do not meet industry standards. This research used a development research model with the Research and Development (R&D) approach, carried out through several stages: needs analysis, design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness testing. Data was collected via expert validation questionnaires, practical questionnaires completed by teachers and students, and an effectiveness test using a pre-test and post-test control group design. Validation results showed that the job sheet was categorized as “highly valid,” with an average score of 4.85 from both media and material experts. The practicality test indicated that teachers and students rated the job sheet as “highly practical,” with an average score of 91.7%. Additionally, the effectiveness test demonstrated a significant improvement in the experimental class compared to the control class. The experimental class achieved an N-Gain score of 76.23% (high category), while the control class reached only 43.22% (medium category)

Abstract

Differentiated instruction, as the application of the ‘teaching at the right level’ principle, which involves tailoring teaching to student’s needs and the diversity of their interests and readiness, needs to be developed in Merdeka Curriculum implementation. This research aimed to measure the influence of learning components, including variables such as planning, implementation, and learning assessment, as well as learning elements, including variables such as content, processes, learning outcomes, and the learning environment, on the potential for differentiated instruction in elementary and secondary education. This research employed a quantitative method, using path analysis to measure the significance of the influence of independent variables (learning components and learning elements) on the potential for differentiated instruction. The results indicated that three variables significantly influence the Potential for Differentiated Instruction (Y), namely: Learning Components/ Learning Assessment (X3) with a t-value of 12.817 > ttable1,985; Learning Elements/ Learning Processes (X5) with a t-value of 10.223 > t ttable 1,985; and Learning Outcomes/ Achievements (X6) t-value 9.817 > ttable 1,985. Thus, the potential for differentiated instruction in Merdeka Curriculum implementation in elementary and secondary education can be maximized if teachers can plan and implement learning assessments accurately, manage differentiated instruction processes, and apply differentiated instruction outcomes.

Abstract

A common issue in the practical learning of light vehicle electrical systems is the inadequate availability of voltage sources, particularly batteries, in terms of quality and quantity. As a result, most students, after being assessed, receive scores that do not meet expectations. To address this issue, an alternative voltage source is needed to replace the battery, ensuring that the practical learning process for the light vehicle electrical system runs smoothly. This study aims to develop a practical tool using a computer power supply to improve the learning outcomes of the light vehicle electrical system. The research employs the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The experimental method used involves a pretest and posttest group, comparing the experimental class and the control class, consisting of 72 students. The results show that the practical tool using a computer power supply has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of the light vehicle electrical system, as analyzed through a one-tailed t-test. Based on N-Gain Score calculations, the tool is effective in improving learning outcomes, achieving high-level results. The conclusion of this research is that the practical tool using a computer power supply can replace the role of a battery as a voltage source in light vehicle electrical system practices.
