Abstract

Abstrak. One of the Ministry of Education and Culture strategies to realize quality and industry-recognized vocational education and training for the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is to provide opportunities for students to carry out industrial work practices or project work with business and industrial world (DU/DI). In practice, vocational students in automotive engineering skill competency tend to be unprepared which results in ineffective internships. This development research aims to formulate the need for job instruction which is oriented toward the readiness of students to carry out an internship program in which there are basic components of instruction and preparation, understanding, testing and participation stages, and follow-up. The readiness of students includes knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Research development uses the ADDIE development model procedure, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design (3) Development, (4) Implementation, (5) Evaluation. This study aims to: 1) Develop job instruction, 2) Know the feasibility of job instruction, 3) Know the effectiveness of job instructions; 4) Know the increase in student readiness before carrying out internships. The feasibility test obtained a score of 3.63% with a very feasible category. Practicality of 92% with a very practical category. The job instruction that was developed was also tested for its effectiveness with an N-Gain value of 78% which means it is effective and the result is a student readiness level of 84.47% in the ready category. The results of this development research show that job instruction has a positive effect on student readiness and can be used at the stage of industrial work practice debriefing of Automotive Engineering Skill Competency.

Abstract

The learning achievement in the field of safety, occupational health, and environmental protection (K3LH) material is suboptimal, even though in the industrial sector, it serves as the fundamental knowledge for establishing a healthy and safe working environment. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the procedure for developing an Android-based K3LH e-module, assess the feasibility of the e-modules, evaluate their practicality, and ascertain their effectiveness by measuring student competency scores. The research methodology employs the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach model, involving 37 respondents who are 10th-grade students specializing in Information and Communication Technology Competency at SMK Ma'arif NU Paguyangan. The outcomes revealed that the e-module demonstrated a high level of feasibility, as determined through expert validation, comprehensive features, and user-friendly design. The module's practicality was also substantiated by user data, indicating a high level of practicality. Furthermore, the increased competency results indicated the effectiveness of the presented modules. In conclusion, this research establishes that the developed e-module effectively enhances student competence in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) material. It offers several advantages, including comprehensive features, the inclusion of mini-games that pique student interest in module utilization, and easy accessibility, which allows for more flexible exploration of the material.

Abstract

The quality of management in the practical workshop area determines the quality of practical activities in it. Teachers need to prepare a good workshop implementation process by paying attention to everything, starting from the effectiveness of implementation to achieving implementation that provides good habits for students in it. In this case, the thing that is being considered is the implementation of the 5S/5R culture. This research uses Research and Development using the ADDIE development model. The assessment of the suitability of the media being developed is carried out by a judgment expert. The product trial was carried out at SMK Negeri 2 Salatiga with 36 students in the experimental class. Data collection from experts uses material and media validation instruments for product suitability, while data collection on application to students uses teacher assessment through observation instruments and checklist data by researchers to test product effectiveness. The results of this research show (1) that the product developed is a module for management of tools and materials for Vocational High School concrete workshops; (2) The product is declared valid and reliable using the Aiken v test and expert percentage. (3) the module was developed practically based on responses from Experts/Validators consisting of lecturers and teachers practicing Construction and Housing Engineering (4) effectiveness testing using the N Gain test showed that the data for the experimental and control classes had increased with a percentage of 47.59%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of an Internet of Things (IoT)-controlled Solar Power Generator (PLTS) trainer kit. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using the Research and Development (RnD) method, following the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection is conducted through questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires are used to assess the suitability of the media by media experts and subject matter experts, while tests are used to measure student competence improvement before and after the treatment. The research results indicate that the PLTS trainer kit with IoT control has high feasibility, with a score of 87% from media experts and 88% from subject matter experts, categorizing it as highly feasible. The t-test results show a significant increase in student competence, with an average pre-test score of 58.4 and a post-test score of 76.16. Statistical analysis reveals a calculated t-value of -7.79 and a tabulated t-value of 2.00. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is accepted, indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. As a recommendation, the researchers suggest that schools should provide adequate facilities for practical learning using the trainer kit. Furthermore, future research could focus on the development of IoT trainers, particularly within the SCADA system.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence and harassment have recently occurred among the public. Many print and non-print media report on issues of sexual violence and harassment. The PPP case is an abuse of the relationship between women and men which harms one of the parties because they are harassed or degraded in dignity, either verbally or non-verbally. Semarang was the highest rank in cases of sexual violence in Central Java in 2018. The PPP case reporting mechanism requires victims to go to a service center. Many risks make victims reluctant to report the incident that occurred because they are embarrassed in society and afraid that perpetrators will intimidate them. This paper aims to develop an android-based application to summarize the reporting mechanism by reporting PPP incidents experienced by victims using gadgets. Several menus provided include reporting menu, counseling menu, article menu, and Robo menu to identify categories of forms of harassment based on user input. The application is developed by using a customized waterfall method. Several testing has been developed to evaluate the application, such as Blackbox testing (achieves 100%), usability testing (achieves 79%), and media content testing (achieves 85.45%).

Abstract

Background: The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, including Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), has brought significant changes in various industrial sectors, especially in autonomous systems. DRL combines the capabilities of Deep Learning (DL) in processing complex data with those of Reinforcement Learning (RL) in making adaptive decisions through interaction with the environment. However, the application of DRL in autonomous systems still faces several challenges, such as training stability, model generalization, and high data and computing resource requirements. Methods: This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify, evaluate, and analyze the latest developments in DRL for autonomous system optimization. The SLR was conducted by following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework, which consists of four main stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of research articles. Data were collected through literature searches in leading scientific journal databases such as IEEE Xplore, MDPI, ACM Digital Library, ScienceDirect (Elsevier), SpringerLink, arXiv, Scopus, and Web of Science. Results: This study found that DRL has been widely adopted in various industrial sectors, including transportation, industrial robotics, and traffic management. The integration of DRL with other technologies such as Computer Vision, IoT, and Edge Computing further enhances its capability to handle uncertain and dynamic environments. Therefore, this study is crucial in providing a comprehensive understanding of the potential, challenges, and future directions of DRL development in autonomous systems, in order to foster more adaptive, efficient, and reliable technological innovations.
