Abstract

who want to teach mathematics to students need to understand and know the material to be delivered. Understanding the meaning of mathematics itself is a fundamental key to achieving success in learning mathematics. Learning is a process carried out by individuals to obtain new behavioral changes as a whole as a result of experience in interacting with the environment. The need for a mathematics teaching module based on productive struggle through a problem-based learning approach. This learning is further developed, including Problem-Based Learning which has recently become famous in the world of education. Problem based learningcan provide skills in managing life for students to be able to overcome obstacles in their environment. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the need for a mathematics teaching module based on productive struggle through a problem-based learning approach on flat shape material carried out on grade IV teachers in Kawalu District. The results of this study indicate that teachers are active in implementing Problem Based Learning, but there are still obstacles in learning mathematics. In learning flat shapes, the teacher stated that one of the main objectives in learning mathematics based on the Independent Curriculum is to help students understand and develop mathematical material that includes facts, concepts, principles, operations, and mathematical relations. The process elements in learning mathematics also emphasize the importance of implementing and adapting effective strategies in solving everyday problems, which also serve as a means to reconstruct mathematical understanding. As part of the direction of the Independent Curriculum policy, the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan has undergone significant changes compared to the previous curriculum in increasing learning motivation about the area of ​​flat shapes. Efforts to increase learning motivation through Problem based learningthe area of ​​flat shapes are carried out according to the steps based on the implementation cycle with the following steps: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Learning using the Problem based learningmodul can increase learning motivation about the circumference and area of ​​flat shapes in grade IV students.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam kejadian DBD adalah status gizi, yang berpengaruh terhadap respons imun tubuh dalam menghadapi infeksi. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa anak dengan status gizi kurang maupun obesitas lebih berisiko mengalami DBD dengan derajat yang lebih berat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik penderita pada pasien anak Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 – 2023, mengetahui status gizi pada pasien anak Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 – 2023, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dan derajat Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 - 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah jenis penelitian analitik deskriptif. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik penderita pada pasien anak Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 – 2023 memiliki mayoritas penderita dengan jenis kelamin perempuan dan usia antara 6 – 10 tahun serta derajat infeksi terbanyak yang datang rawat inap adalah DBD Grade. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa status gizi terbanyak pada pasien anak Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 – 2023 adalah status gizi baik (Health Weight). Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara status gizi dan derajat Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di RS Ibnu Sina Makassar tahun 2021 – 2023. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa status gizi berperan dalam tingkat keparahan DBD pada anak, sehingga pemantauan status gizi dapat menjadi faktor penting dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan DBD.

Abstract

This study compares the performance of three hedging strategies, Collar, Bear Put Spread, and Long Strangle, in a case study of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) stock. The analysis focuses on the risk management effectiveness and profit potential of these strategies within an emerging market context. The research utilizes weekly stock price data from July 2023 to June 2024 (54 observations). The methodological procedures include calculating returns and volatility, testing return normality using the Shapiro-Wilk test, determining European option prices using the Black-Scholes model with a 6% risk-free interest rate, and conducting profit simulations. The findings indicate that the Collar strategy provides maximum protection against stock price declines, albeit with limited profit potential. The Bear Put Spread strategy proves effective in generating returns during moderate price decreases while offering lower risk and cost. Conversely, the Long Strangle strategy possesses high profit potential during significant price volatility but carries the risk of total loss if stock prices remain stagnant. As a comprehensive comparison of these three option strategies applied to GOTO stock, this study recommends the Collar strategy as the optimal choice for risk-averse investors during bearish trends.

Abstract

Hearing loss is a global health problem with increasing prevalence, especially in the elderly. This condition not only affects communication skills, but also affects the social and psychological aspects of individuals, such as social isolation, depression, and decreased self-confidence. Difficulties in interacting can lead to limitations in social participation and self-adjustment, which ultimately reduces the quality of life of the elderly. This study aims to determine the characteristics of individuals who experience hearing loss in the elderly, determine the effect of hearing loss on social disabilities in the elderly, determine the social disabilities that occur as a result of hearing loss in the elderly. This research uses quantitative methods with an analytical survey approach and cross-sectional design. The results showed that of the 40 respondents, the majority were in the age range of 45-59 years. A total of 25 respondents (62.5%) were female, and 15 respondents (37.5%) were male. Of these, 29 respondents (72.5%) had hearing loss, while 11 respondents (27.5%) did not have a loss. Statistical analysis showed that hearing loss had a significant effect on social disability in the elderly (p-value = 0.001), Most experienced mild social disability as many as 26 respondents (22.5%). Hearing loss causes difficulties in communication, which can increase the risk of social isolation and reduce their quality of life.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi keuangan masyarakat masih menjadi persoalan serius di era digital, terutama terkait meningkatnya kasus pinjaman online ilegal yang berimplikasi negatif terhadap stabilitas ekonomi keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Harau ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelolaan keuangan rumah tangga melalui edukasi keuangan yang berfokus pada empat aspek utama: bahaya pinjaman online ilegal, manajemen keuangan keluarga, pemanfaatan aplikasi keuangan digital, dan praktik pinjam-meminjam dalam perspektif agama. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan praktik penggunaan aplikasi keuangan, dengan evaluasi capaian peserta melalui instrumen pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh indikator, yaitu pemahaman risiko pinjaman online meningkat dari 58,9 menjadi 83,6, manajemen keuangan keluarga dari 83,7 menjadi 93,2, literasi aplikasi keuangan dari 62,5 menjadi 86,2, dan pemahaman pinjaman online dalam perspektif agama dari 74,3 menjadi 89,6. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan edukasi keuangan yang terintegrasi dengan nilai agama serta pemanfaatan teknologi finansial mampu memperkuat literasi keuangan keluarga dan berperan sebagai strategi preventif dalam mengurangi risiko pinjaman online bermasalah
