Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan masalah kesehatan global dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat dan memerlukan pengembangan terapi alternatif berbasis bahan alam. Bunga rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa) diketahui mengandung berbagai senyawa bioaktif yang berpotensi memiliki efek antihiperglikemik. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada evaluasi efektivitas ekstrak etanol bunga rosella dengan variasi dosis terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah pada model tikus Wistar hiperglikemik yang diinduksi streptozotocin. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi ekstrak etanol bunga rosella sebagai agen antihiperglikemik serta menilai pengaruh variasi dosis terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan desain pre test–post test control group design menggunakan 30 ekor tikus Wistar jantan hiperglikemik (GDS 200 mg/dL) yang diinduksi streptozotocin (STZ) 50 mg/kgBB dan dibagi menjadi lima kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif (Na-CMC 0,5%), kontrol positif (metformin 150 mg/kgBB), serta tiga kelompok perlakuan ekstrak rosella dosis 100, 200, dan 400 mg/kgBB selama 15 hari, dengan pengukuran kadar glukosa darah sewaktu setiap tiga hari dan analisis data menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test, One Way ANOVA, dan Post Hoc Tukey (p0,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh kelompok perlakuan mengalami penurunan kadar glukosa darah yang signifikan (p0,05) dengan mean difference tertinggi pada kelompok P3 (226,83 mg/dL), diikuti P2 (192,50 mg/dL) dan P1 (137,83 mg/dL), serta uji ANOVA menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna antar kelompok sejak hari ke-3 hingga hari ke-15 (p0,05). Uji Post Hoc menunjukkan dosis 400 mg/kgBB memberikan efek penurunan glukosa paling optimal (101,8 ± 4,9 mg/dL) bahkan melampaui kelompok metformin (143,3 ± 6,3 mg/dL). Kesimpulan bahwa ekstrak etanol bunga rosella memiliki efektivitas antihiperglikemik yang bersifat dosis-tergantung pada tikus Wistar hiperglikemik, dengan dosis 400 mg/kgBB menunjukkan efek paling optimal.

Abstract

Sindrom mata kering (Dry Eye Syndrome) semakin menjadi perhatian kesehatan di kalangan pengemudi ojek online, khususnya di Makassar, yang memiliki durasi kerja panjang dan paparan konstan terhadap perangkat digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi prevalensi sindrom mata kering pada pengemudi ojek online di Makassar, dengan menggunakan kuesioner Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) untuk menilai kondisi kesehatan mata. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner OSDI Sebagian besar pengemudi ojek online mengalami sindrom mata kering dalam kategori mild (ringan), sebanyak 41 orang (45,6%), diikuti oleh 38 orang (42,2%) yang berada dalam kategori moderate (sedang). Sedangkan 11 orang (12,2%) mengalami sindrom mata kering dengan kondisi severe (berat), dan tidak ada responden yang memiliki skor normal. Penelitian ini menyarankan intervensi kesehatan yang melibatkan pemeriksaan mata rutin, edukasi penggunaan pelindung mata, serta peningkatan lingkungan kerja yang lebih mendukung.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and deep learning offers significant opportunities for innovation in education. This program aimed to improve the understanding and skills of junior high school mathematics teachers in Padang City in utilizing AI to support creative and efficient learning. The training, held at SMP Negeri 25 Padang and attended by 55 MGMP Mathematics members, included lectures, hands-on practice using MagicSchool AI and ChatGPT, and the development of interactive learning media through Wordwall and Kahoot!. Evaluation results showed that all participants improved their understanding of AI and deep learning concepts, and more than 90% found the materials relevant and easy to apply. The training successfully fostered teachers’ motivation to adapt to AI-based learning innovations. Similar programs are recommended to continue with classroom mentoring to ensure optimal AI implementation in schools

Abstract

The low mastery of geometric concepts regarding the congruence of two triangles experienced by students in junior high schools makes teachers have to think of ways to improve the learning process. This research aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality-based learning media on the learning outcomes of class VIII-K students at SMP Negeri 8 Kediri. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. Determining the sample in this study used probability sampling techniques. The sample in this research was 34 students in class VIII-K of SMP Negeri 8 Kediri. The data collection method uses pretest-posttest, while data analysis uses t-test. The research results showed that the average coefficient of student scores during the pretest-posttest was , sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than , namely and the Tcount>Ttable value, namely . So that it can be said that there is an influence of the use of Augmented Reality-based learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of triangle material in class VIII-K students at SMP Negeri 8 Kediri.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the improvement in student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 8 Kediri through the integration of two learning models: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Team Games Tournament (TGT) in Mathematics education. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study consists of two learning cycles, including a pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. The subjects of this research are 34 students of class VIII-J at SMP Negeri 8 Kediri. The data collection techniques used are observation and testing to measure student learning outcomes during the implementation of the PBL combined with TGT model. The results of the study show a significant increase in learning mastery from the pre-cycle to cycle 2 after applying the PBL and TGT combination. Learning outcomes increased in each given learning cycle, from 24% in the pre-cycle to 68% in cycle 1 and further increased to 94% in cycle 2. This increase indicates that the combination of the two learning models, PBL and TGT, is an optimal combination for improving mathematics learning outcomes for class VIII-J students at SMP Negeri 8 Kediri.

Abstract

Based on the 2018 PISA results, Indonesian students' abilities in reading, mathematics and science are below the OCED average. The government's effort to deal with the reality about students is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum which uses the Pancasila student profile as character traits and competencies that students are expected to achieve based on the noble values ​​of Pancasila, one of which is the ability to think critically. A diversity of critical thinking abilities is often found in mathematics classes. This is because every individual has eight different intelligences in multiple intelligences. So it is necessary to strengthen mathematical literacy to support the government in its independent curriculum policy, where students are required to be able to think critically in learning, especially mathematics. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, with material on the properties of triangles and quadrilaterals taken during the implementation of PPL 2 at SMPN 8 Kediri.
