Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang diadakan oleh berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, di mana mahasiswa dapat mengaplikasikan ilmu yang telah dipelajari dalam kehidupan nyata. Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan program KKN yang berfokus pada kesehatan masyarakat di Desa Jirapan, Kecamatan Masaran, Kabupaten Sragen, Jawa Tengah. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala. Pemeriksaan yang dilakukan meliputi pengukuran tekanan darah, kadar asam urat, dan kadar gula darah, yang merupakan indikator utama penyakit tidak menular seperti hipertensi, diabetes, dan asam urat. Hasil pemeriksaan ini memberikan gambaran mengenai kondisi kesehatan masyarakat Desa Jirapan, sekaligus memberikan edukasi mengenai langkah-langkah pencegahan penyakit. Pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan kerjasama antara kelompok KKN, perangkat desa, kader kesehatan, dan masyarakat setempat. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan, serta adanya perubahan positif dalam pola hidup warga yang lebih sehat.

Abstract

Materi pendidikan agama bukan hanya sekedar metafisika belaka, dalam semua bangsa, bentuk, objek kendaraan, dan ibadah diliputi aura kesungguhan moral yang mendalam dan suci. Kesucian di mana pun mengandung arti dan hakiki. Suci tidak hanya mendorong rasa pengabdian, tetapi juga menuntutnya, tidak hanya persetujuan intelektual, tetapi juga komitmen emosional. Apakah yang suci itu disebut Mana, Brahma, Buddha, Tritunggal atau yang lainnya. Semua digambarkan sebagai sesuatu yang lebih dari sekedar duniawi, yang mau tidak mau memiliki implikasi yang sangat dipertimbangkan bagi arah perilaku manusia. Agama tidak hanya bersifat etis. Sumber vitalitas moralnya terletak pada keyakinan yang dipahami. Dengan keyakinan agama diungkapkan karakteristik mendasar dari realitas "Yang harus ada" yang memaksa muncul dari "yang ada" sebagai pendekatan yang aktual dan komprehensif terhadap tuntutan-tuntutan yang mendasari tindakan-tindakan manusia yang paling spesifik dalam konteks eksistensi manusia.

Abstract

This research was a qualitative descriptive research using a semiotic approach. This research aims to analyze the value of character education contained in the symbols in the Surakarta style Javanese bridal paes and its relevance as the Javanese language learning material for elementary school level. The symbols in Javanese bridal paes are a medium for transforming noble values containing Javanese cultural teachings for bridal couples in particular and Javanese society in general, especially the younger generation. This is closely related to character development based on local genius. Therefore, this research tries to describe the symbols in Surakarta style Javanese bridal paes as a manifestation of character education values. Each part in Javanese bridal paes is a representation of local wisdom  intended to be a medium for educating noble character. The main data collection techniques are direct observation, interviews, documentation of Javanese Surakarta style brides which are strengthened by documentation analysis. For the validity of the data, credibility techniques are used which are carried out by: 1) diligent observation, 2) triangulation of methods and sources, 3) peer discussion, 4) adequacy of references. The data validity technique uses theory triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique in this research uses Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis technique. The research results show that each part of the Surakarta style Javanese bridal paes is a symbol that contains noble Javanese cultural values which can be a guide for the bridal couple and relevan for Javanese Language Learning in Elementary Schools.

Abstract

An increase in the number of vehicles today will result in an increase in fuel oil consumption and emission pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize for fuel oil economy and emission reduction by improving engine performance. Improving engine performance can be done through several factors, including; with compression ratio, volumetric efficiency and fuel quality. The purpose of this study is to prove that with the addition of ozone (O3) the combustion process will be more reactive than oxygen (O2) so that it can produce faster and more complete combustion, This study will convert oxygen (O2) into more reactive ozone (O3) by using a 15 g/h plasma plasma generator ozone installed on an air filter. Engine performance testing includes engine power and torque using a 50L super dyno type dynamometer chassis. The test results showed, with ozone generator engine torque increased from 0 – 0.5 Nm and increased engine power from 0 – 0.4 KW compared to without using an ozone generator. Abstract

The current development of vehicle transmission technology aims to reduce vehicle energy consumption by increasing its performance. Continuously variable transmission (CVT) is an automatic transmission system that is often used in vehicles today. Meanwhile, replacing CVT rollers and springs can affect transmission efficiency, fuel consumption, and overall vehicle performance. So this research aims to explore the impact of replacing roller and spring components on the CVT on engine performance and confirmed by changes in CVT temperature. This research was carried out using a metic motorcycle, by measuring the performance values of the motorcycle in the form of vehicle torque and power using a dynamometer, apart from that the CVT temperature was also measured. The research results show the potential for increasing Torque and Power by using increased roller mass and spring constants. Apart from that, there is an increase in CVT temperature due to the use of an increased spring constant, this shows the potential for wear.

Abstract

Kelancaran proses pengolahan air di PDAM seringkali terhambat oleh gangguan pada finish water pump yang berperan penting dalam operasional Water Treatment Plant (WTP), ketika mengalami kerusakan komponen mesin ini seringkali memerlukan perbaikan yang signifikan, mengakibatkan dampak yang merugikan bagi perusahaan. Waktu yang terbuang akibat breakdown komponen mesin tersebut mengakibatkan kerugian produksi yang cukup besar. Jadwal preventive maintenance sangat dibutuhkan untuk mencegah kerusakan dimasa yang akan datang untuk mengetahui interval waktu perawatan bagi komponen pompa Finish Water Pump (FWP) sehingga dapat meminimasi downtime berdasarkan pemilihan dengan penghematan biaya yang paling minimal. Age Replacement merupakan penggantian pencegahan berdasarkan umur dari komponen dengan mengikuti pola distribusi tertentu. Penggantian pencegahan diatur ulang dengan menyesuaikan interval waktu penggantian pencegahan berikutnya sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan, jika terjadi penggantian akibat kerusakan yang terjadi. Model Age Replacement berfungsi untuk memprediksikan secara akurat kegiatan penggantian komponen finish water pump yang seringkali mengalami kerusakan dengan menganalisa berdasarkan data historis kerusakan komponen tersebut serta mengetahui penekanan biaya optimal untuk setiap interval waktu penggantian komponen. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salah satu selang waktu penggantian optimal yaitu selama 23 hari untuk komponen gland packing dengan biaya penggantian sebesar Rp. 115.200.000. Hal ini berhasil menekan biaya perawatan sebelumnya yang mencapai Rp. 158.175.000

Abstract

Biomassa memiliki potensi sebagai energi alternatif terbarukan karena sumber energinya yang melimpah. Biomassa (limbah kulit ketela) dapat ditingkatkan kualitasnya dengan metode torefaksi. Dengan proses torefaksi maka nilai kalor pada biomassa akan meningkat dan nilai kalor biomassa dapat setara dengan batubara. Tujuan dari penilitian ini untuk mengetahui limbah kulit ketela sesuai standar SNI No.1/6235/2000. Penelitian torefaksi ini menggunakan beberapa pengaruh variabel. Adapun variabel yang digunakan, yaitu variasi suhu (200℃, 250℃, 300℃), variasi waktu tunggu (30 menit, 45 menit, 60 menit) dan variasi Power Level (defrost, medium low, medium). Hasil pengujian briket kulit ketela sesuai standar SNI No.1/6235/2000 dengan variasi suhu didapatkan pada suhu 250℃ dan 300℃. Hasil pengujian briket kulit ketela sesuai standar SNI No.1/6235/2000 dengan variasi waktu didapatkan pada waktu 30 menit dan 45 menit. Hasil pengujian briket kulit ketela sesuai standar SNI No.1/6235/2000 dengan variasi power level didapatkan pada medium low.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intracurricular learning where the content will be more optimal so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. Likewise, teachers have the freedom to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be adjusted to the learning needs and interests of students. This study aims to describe the perceptions of teachers and students, the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language learning in high schools as well as the challenges of teachers and students and efforts to solve challenges during the implementation of the independent curriculum in Indonesian language subjects. This study is a qualitative descriptive study, namely data collected in the form of written or spoken words from various informants. The information in this study is Indonesian language teachers, grade 10 and grade 11 students, the principal and vice principal at SMAN 1 Wonosari. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and observations. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are as follows: (1) the majority of teachers and students have a positive perception in the implementation of the independent curriculum and have an understanding that is in accordance with the Independent Curriculum. (2) The implementation of Indonesian language learning is carried out referring to the teaching module and focuses on the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile as a concept of the independent curriculum. Teachers dominate learning with problem-based learning and project-based learning models. Then, (3) the challenges faced by teachers include: unpreparedness of human resources, the existence of differentiated learning, minimal understanding of digital technology, lack of learning resources, and students who are not focused when receiving learning.

Abstract

The castor bean (Ricinus communis L.) is a plant with a lot of potential as a vegetable oil producer. Castor bean productivity in Indonesia was 1.36 thousand tons in 2013, but it fell to 1.30 thousand tons in 2014. Fusarium wilt is one of the challenges in increasing castor bean production. Resistant genotypes can be used to control Fusarium wilt in an environmentally friendly manner. The goal of this study was to determine the variability and superior performance of Fusarium wilt-resistant castor beans. The study took place at the Faculty of Agriculture's greenhouse Experimental farm, Universitas Brawijaya in Lowokwaru District, Malang, East Java, from January to July 2021. Twenty two genotypes resistant to Fusarium wilt, urea fertilizer, NPK, and pesticides were used. Augmented design was used as the experimental field design. Following Pearson correlation type and coefficient of variation, variability was investigated using principal component analysis (PCA). Based on PCA, the variability of morphological characters of 22 genotypes of castor bean is divided into first-nine principal components with a cumulative variability of 85.91 percent. The coefficient of variation for the main raceme weight character is 61.15 percent. The TBN 0816-36 genotype succeeds in vegetative characters, while the CT4-10-3-(C864-3)-68 genotype performs best in yield.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Health promotion in general is any planned effort to influence other people, whether individuals, groups or communities, so that they do what is expected by the perpetrators of education or health promotion. The method used in this research is a literature review by searching for relevant articles from electronic databases (Google Scholar). Health Promotion can use various media such as puns, video media and posters, leaflets, flipbooks and booklets. The research results showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of counseling participants. Before being given counseling, only 20% of participants had good knowledge about how to behave in a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) in an effort to prevent diarrhea. Then there is a significant influence of health education using video and poster media, leaflets , flipbooks , booklets on children's knowledge and attitudes in preventing diarrheal diseases. Health promotion cannot be separated from the media because through the media, the messages conveyed can be more interesting and understood, so that the target can learn the message and the target can decide to adopt positive behavior. Diarrhea is a disease syndrome characterized by changes in the shape and consistency of stool, slowing down to liquefaction, as well as an increase in the frequency of defecation from usual, up to 3 or more times a day.
