Abstract

The low proficiency in short story writing among elementary school students, coupled with limited learning motivation in literacy-based instruction, remains a critical issue in educational practice. The absence of instructional models that effectively integrate cognitive and affective aspects contributes to this condition. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Experiential Learning model integrated with Cultural Wordwall in enhancing students’ short story writing skills and fostering their learning motivation. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design was employed. The study involved 27 fifth-grade students selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a short story writing test and a learning motivation questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and independent t-tests to examine differences between the experimental and control groups. The findings indicate that the implementation of Experiential Learning integrated with Cultural Wordwall significantly improves students’ narrative writing abilities while simultaneously enhancing their learning motivation. These results suggest that the instructional model can serve as an effective alternative strategy for developing both cognitive and affective competencies in elementary literacy education.

Abstract

Understanding the intrinsic elements of a story remains a challenge because conventional methods do not train students' critical thinking skills while reading. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) model assisted by flash cards in enhancing students’ understanding of intrinsic story elements. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. The participants consisted of 64 students, divided into an experimental group of 32 students and a control group of 32 students, selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test measuring comprehension of story elements, including theme, characters, characterization, plot, setting, point of view, moral message, and language style. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and an independent t-test. The findings revealed that the experimental group taught using the DRTA model with flash cards achieved higher post-test scores in the good category, while the control group taught through conventional methods remained in the fair category. The independent t-test confirmed a significant difference between the two groups. These results indicate that the DRTA model assisted by flash cards is effective in improving students’ reading comprehension of intrinsic story elements. The implication suggests that this model should be integrated into reading instruction to promote interactive, meaningful learning experiences and foster students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Kesulitan membaca di kelas dasar awal menimbulkan tantangan yang signifikan bagi perkembangan akademik siswa di seluruh mata pelajaran, khususnya IPAS yang memerlukan kemampuan literasi untuk memahami konsep sains dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan dan mengevaluasi strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi untuk mengatasi hambatan membaca awal di kalangan siswa fase B pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan desain studi kasus eksplorasi digunakan untuk memeriksa perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi reflektif dari strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Delapan siswa kelas tiga yang mengalami kesulitan membaca materi IPAS berpartisipasi, bersama tiga guru kelas. Studi ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi secara efektif mengubah siswa dari keadaan learned helplessness menjadi pembelajar mandiri yang memiliki motivasi intrinsik terhadap kegiatan membaca materi IPAS. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa diferensiasi konten IPAS yang menggunakan bahan bacaan bergambar tentang tubuh manusia dan lingkungan, diferensiasi proses yang menerapkan tutor sebaya dan dukungan individu, dan diferensiasi produk yang menggunakan metode penilaian fleksibel secara signifikan meningkatkan akurasi fonetik siswa (85%), kefasihan membaca materi IPAS, dan kepercayaan diri. Fenomena tak terduga muncul dimana tutor sebaya mengalami peningkatan membaca materi IPAS yang lebih besar daripada mereka yang dibimbing, menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran regeneratif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran daring menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas 5 di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Inpres Palama. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 17 mahasiswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Inpres Palama. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe desain pra-eksperimental "the one-group pretest-posttest" desig. Data yang dianalisis adalah data kuantitatif yang telah diolah menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistc 16. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan pengujian. Hasil penelitian ini diuji menggunakan "uji t satu sampel" yang menunjukkan hitungan lebih besar dari ttabel (3.374>2.085). Selain itu, nilai P 0,07 lebih besar dari 0,05. Dapat ditafsirkan dengan ttest bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah ditunjukkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik ke-5 SD Negeri Inpres Palama pada mata kuliah IPA.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the process of developing Panjumbar learning media. Testing the effectiveness of the developed Panjumbar learning media. To find out the increase in natural number addition skills through the use of the developed Panjumbar learning media. This research is a type of Research and Development research or development research. Effectiveness analysis was carried out using the pretest-posttest results analysis. The pretest and posttest results were tested by Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the validity of panjumbar learning media by media expert validators for learning mathematics in class I of Gugus Sudirman Elementary School, Tirtomoyo District after revision, in terms of the educational aspect was 4.8 (very relevant), the technical aspect was 4.7 (relevant), aesthetics (very relevant). Thus the average validity of the media is 4.8 (very relevant). Material validity in terms of content aspect is 4.75 (relevant), construction aspect is 4.6 (relevant), language is 4.75 (relevant). Thus the average media validity is 4.8 (very relevant), and the average material validity is 4.75 (relevant). The effectiveness of Panjumbar media using the before-after experimental design in small group field trials is known to have an average pretest value of 73, and an average posttest value of 83.75. The average value of the large group pretest field test 71.13, posttest 81.56. This shows that the value of O2 is greater than O1, so the product design used in this study is effectively used as a medium for learning mathematics. Based on the normality test with the One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test, the probability value of the t-statistic > Level of Significant = 0.05, namely the pretest value is 0.769 and the posttest value is 0.620 (> 0.05), thus the research data is normally distributed. The t test results obtained a significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  menganalisis pengaruh : (1) Orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Palebon. (2) Orientasi pasar terhadap kinerja UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Palebon (3) Keunggulan  bersaing terhadap kinerja UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Palebon. (4) Orientasi  kewirausahaan,  orientasi  pasar  dan keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja UMKM kuliner di Kelurahan Palebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan  metode deskriptif. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah  pelaku UMKM kulines di Kelurahan Palebon. Teknik analisis data dengan  telaah dan penskoran, hasilnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil Penelitiannya pertama, variabel Orientasi Kewirusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja UMKM. Kedua, Orientasi Pasar berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja UMKM. Ketiga, keunggulan Bersaing tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Kinerja UMKM. Keempat, variabel Orientasi Kewirausahaan, Orientasi Pasar dan Keunggulan bersaing secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja UMKM.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the planning, implementation and ability to read comprehension as well as the obstacles to learning reading comprehension through the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in online learning of class 2 students at SD Negeri Wonomulyo and the teacher's solutions for overcoming these obstacles. This research is a qualitative research. This type of descriptive qualitative research used in the form of research with case studies (case study). The population in this study were all 22 (twenty two) grade 2 students at SD Negeri Wonomulyo Wonogiri. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques with qualitative descriptions. The results showed that the initial step taken by the teacher in preparing a reading comprehension lesson plan was to determine the identification of learning materials, followed by developing a lesson plan. Planning learning to read comprehension using the CIRC method with the consideration that the CIRC method students will obtain information repeatedly through reading, responding, and presenting activities. The implementation of learning to read comprehension through the CIRC method is carried out in two ways, namely through online and limited face-to-face. Learning reading comprehension activities using the CIRC method are carried out in 6 (six) stages, namely the preliminary stage (orientation), the organizational stage, the core stage of introducing concepts, exploration and application stages, publication stages, and closing stages, strengthening, and reflection. The ability to read comprehension can be assessed from several abilities, namely: capturing the contents of the reading, summarizing the reading, answering questions based on the content of the reading, retelling the contents of the reading. The results of daily tests show that by using the CIRC method most students can achieve learning mastery. The high learning outcomes of reading comprehension are caused by using CIRC, students obtain information repeatedly. The obstacles to learning reading comprehension in grade 2 SDS Negeri Wonomulyo through the CIRC method are learning environment factors, student intellectual factors, and psychological and physiological factors

Abstract

Implementation of the National Adiwiyata Program Based on Local Wisdom to Improve the Character of Students at SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo, Wonogiri Regency is a description of the process of implementing various school efforts in collaboration with other parties involved in helping to shape and develop the character of students who care about the environment, care about the environment, are disciplined, creative, And Responsibility. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, and results of the Adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo. This type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection was carried out during August to November 2021 using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data were analyzed qualitatively with the following stages: data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) Adiwiyata program planning began by forming an adiwiyata team, at the initial stage the adiwiyata team compiled an environmental study which was then prepared an action plan to form an 5 (five) characters that must be possessed by students, namely: environmental care character, social care character, discipline character, creative character, and responsibility character that is integrated in all subjects. (2) The implementation of the adiwiyata program begins with classroom learning and extracurricular activities, (3) the adiwiyata program at SMP Negeri 1 Ngadirojo results in changes in the behavior of school residents, especially students and changes in the physical environment of the school. Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) to describe online learning plans in science lessons to increase students' HOTS. (2) Describe the implementation of online learning in science lessons to increase student HOTS. (3) Describe the evaluation of online learning in science lessons to increase student HOTS. This study uses a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in class IX at SMP Negeri 3 Slogohimo, Wonogiri Regency in the odd semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were science teachers and some students in class IX at SMP Negeri 3 Slogohimo, Wonogiri Regency. The results of the study concluded that lesson planning in science lessons to increase students' HOTS was made by the teacher. Core activities based on: Indicators of achievement of GPA competencies, student characteristics, scientific approach, 4C (creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration), strengthening Character Education (PPK) and literacy. Planning closing activities includes reflection activities both individually and in groups, providing feedback, following up, informing activity plans for the next meeting, conducting assessments according to KD. The implementation of science learning in the context of increasing student HOTS is carried out through the application of learning models based on student activity, namely: discovery/inquiry learning models, Problem-based Learning (PBL) models, and Project-based Learnin models. The implementation of science learning to improve students' HOTS is constrained by the teacher's lack of understanding of the HOTS concept, so that learning carried out using inquiry, PBL, and project based learning models has not been able to improve higher-order thinking skills, meaning that new students have the ability to remember, understand, and apply, and have not been able to analyze, evaluate, and create. Evaluation of science lessons to increase student HOTS is carried out by teachers by utilizing information and ideas by changing their meanings and implications. The evaluation uses questions that are based on contextual problems, meaning that evaluation questions made by the teacher are related to situations faced by students on a daily basis, using a stimulus that stimulates students' thinking.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca adalah faktor penting, penting untuk semua pertukaran pembelajaran dalam keterampilan pemahaman. Faktanya, banyak siswa di sekolah yang masih mengalami kesulitan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada keterampilan membaca pemahaman melalui penggunaan media komik digital di Kelas V SDN Tolonggeru. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan True-Experimental, khususnya posttest-only control group design. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelas yaitu kelas Va sebagai kelompok kontrol dan kelas Vb SDN Tolonggeru sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Subjek yang diteliti berjumlah 28 orang dari kelas Va dan Vb. Dalam penelitian ini, soal-soal berfungsi sebagai instrumen penelitian untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media komik secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas V, yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai tes yang cukup besar pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media komik dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman mencapai rata-rata skor posttest yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai post-test dengan nilai t hitung yang melebihi nilai t tabel, yaitu 2,756 > 2,0085. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima. Nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,008 yang menunjukkan bahwa nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari = 0,05 (0,008 < 0,05). Hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan hasil yang lebih unggul dengan penggunaan media komik.
