Abstract

Abstract : The development of the Era of Globalization in the 21st century has caused many remarkable changes. These changes also arise problems that can cause destruction and damage in many ways, not apart also in the world of education. Bringing great impact with the occurrence of behavior deviation among students, one of which is smoking addiction behavior. The high level of cigarette consumption for teenagers as well as the young age of starting to smoke among students need to get special attention again. Objectives of the study 1) To know the description of smoking addiction behavior of high school students Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. 2) To know the confidence of students addicted to smoking in SMA Tri Bhakti Pekanbaru. The research method is descriptive quantitative, with purposive sampling technique. Research conclusions 1) The level of smoking addiction behavior in students is in the high category. While the behavior of smoking with the number of cigarettes in the suction per day between 10-20 stems per day; the amount of cigarettes per day between Rp 10.000-20.000; age started smoking at age 9 years; the source of the cigarette money comes from work; daily smoking time which starts with 5 minutes after waking up; the reason to start smoking is because they have friends who smoke and smoke together; and where smoking is marked by smoking in public places with friends in familiar places of association. 2) The level of confidence in students is in the high category. While confidence shows responsible results; rational; optimistic; belief in self-efficacy; and objective. For confidence in the show include able to complete personal needs; schools make rules to be more disciplined; has advantages that can be developed; doing something will be done to completion even if it is difficult; and are confident of a good future if you want to learn earnestly and success is gained by trying.Key Words : Smoking Addiction Behavior, Self Confidence

Abstract

The prison environment is an uncomfortable for prisoners because lifes activity is limited to the walls of prison buildings. To be prisoner is a source of stress. The purpose of this study was to describe the life history of female prisoners of HIV / AIDS sufferer and the influence of counseling on their self-esteem. The subjects in this research were five female prisoners who had HIV / AIDS. Treatment given by group counseling. Analysis data use qualitative method. The result of the research is as follows, Marriage status, all subject status in this research is widow. Two subjects are infected HIV / AIDS virus from their boyfriend, one person from husband and two infected by drug injection. Group counseling have a positive effect to increase self esteem of female inmates. All subjects realize that they will be accepted in their family (parents, siblings and children). They made a pledge to will not repeat the misuse of drugs when they are released. After exiting the prison they will be a tailor, continue the salon business, and make a snack for bussines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba mencari jawaban dari keresahan yang ditemui dalam proses pembelajaran dikelas, tentang motifasi berprestasi pada dua kelompok mahasiswa yaitu jurusan Pendidikan IPA dan Pendidikan IPS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motifasi berprestasi antara mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan IPA dan  Pendidikan IPS serta hasil belajarnya. Teknik analisa data yang dipakai adalah menggunakan uji t. Analisa dilakuan dengan sistim komputerisasi memakai program SPSS versi 11. Data diambil dari respon menggunakan teknik angket untuk menjaring skor motifasi berpestasi, serta  teknik dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan rata-rata skor motifasi berprestasi mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan IPA lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan jurusan Pendidikan IPS. Sedangkan hasil hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan skor motofasi berprestasi antara mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan IPA dengan Pendidikan IPS. Begitu juga prestasi belajar yang mereka peroleh menjukuan perbedaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis masalah-masalah belajaryang di alami oleh siswa kelas Akselerasi dan kelas Unggulan. Jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian deskriptif, alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Sampelyang diambil menggunakan teknik sensus atau total sampel yaitu berjumlah 123 orang.Data yang terkumpul di olah dengan analisa deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa masalah belajar yang di alami oleh siswa kelas Akseleraasidan Unggulan yang utama adalah Kebiasaan dan Sikap Belajar belum baik. Apabila dilihatdari butir masalahnya, maka masalah yang paling dirasakan siswa akselerasi dalam 3urutan utama adalah; tidak betah belajar selama priode waktu yang lama, dalam belajaratau mengerjakan tugas tidak tahan lama melaksanakannya.Sedangkan 3 butir masalahyang utama di alami oleh siswa kelas unggulan secara berurutan adalah; tidak maumemberikan tanggapan sewaktu pelajaran berlangsung, catatan pelajaran tidak lengkapserta buku-buku pelajaran sulit dimengerti.Secara keseluruhan siswa kelas unggulan lebihtinggi rata-rata persentase masalahnya dibandingkan dengan kelas akselerasi. Artinyasiswa kelas unggulan lebih bermasalah dalam belajar dibanding dengan kelas Akselerasi.

Abstract: The use of gadget aiready is the phenomena of the usual among students. A variety of the impact of the presence of gadget started can be feit. Indirectcy this will lead to change the patters of life of routine human and inferaction in a society where they lived, is not an exception far students such as using gadget to access the aducts. And it’s the use of gadget until late at night resucted in the students sleepy in class while learning. This study aims to find out picture of the us of gadget and personality users. The students said users gadget in this study is if in a day. The subject in this study is the students who use gadget as many twenty seven people with purposive sampling. In this study instrument used is inguiries. The results of the study found a average of students use gadget at home after going home from school, in a almost entirely playing gadgrt 4 until 6 hours a day, the kind of gadget must often used is smartphone. Most students use gadget for social media. The impact that is felt students due to use gadget too long is sick irritation eyes. Abstract

Abstract: dating behavior is an activity between men and women based on feelings of pleasure, love, affection, attention with a touch of feeling for the purpose, namely finding ways that are more familiar with the stages of shooting and acceptance (commitment). In addition, courtship is also considered as one way to find a match between couples to display households and families. For some teenagers this is considered normal because it is motivated by a mere sense of attraction. The indicators that will be examined on dating behavior according to Santrock (2003) are keepsake (ie), constant association (maintaining relationships), trust (giving trust), creative expression (creative expression), touching (reaching), kissing (kiss) . This study aims to determine the general dating behavior of students, ranging from students who live with family and students who live in boarding houses. The subjects of this study were thirty-four-year-old students who were dating from the place of residence (with their families and boarding houses) using purposive sampling. This research uses descriptive method with a quantitative approach. In this study the instrument used was a questionnaire. To analyze data using percentages. The results showed that; 1) Behavior of dating students doing activities giving surprises and thanking their partners. 2) Behavior of dating students who live with family doing creative expression activities, similar to students living in boarding houses.Keywords: Dating behavior, residence

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai analisis kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling disekolah. Kompetensi yang akan diteliti adalah kompetensi profesional guru bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah yang mengacu pada Standar Kompetensi berdasarkan Permendiknas RI No. 27 tahun 2008 tentang Standar Kualifikasi Akademik dan Kompetensi Konselor. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) gambaran umum kompetensi guru BK di sekolah, 2) kompetensi guru BK dalam pengumpulan data (asesmen BK), 3) kompetensi guru BK dalam menyusun program BK di sekolah, 4)  kompetensi guru BK dalam melaksanakan layanan BK di sekolah, 5) kompetensi guru BK dalam penilaian pelaksanaan layanan BK di sekolah, 6) kompetensi guru BK dalam melaksanakan etika profesi BK di sekolah, 7) kompetensi guru BK dalam melaksanakan penelitian BK.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, data yang dikumpulkan  adalah tentang kompetensi profesional guru BK di sekolah melalui instrumen skala kompetensi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa hanya separuh dari guru BK di sekolah yang memiliki kompetensi profesional sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, baik dalam pengumpulan data, penyusunan program BK di sekolah, melaksanakan layanan BK, penilaian pelaksanaan BK, melaksanakan etika profesional BK, dan dalam melaksanakan penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, maka peneliti menyarankan pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Propinsi Riau agar memberi kesempatan pada guru-guru BK di sekolah untuk mengikuti pelatihan-pelatihan tentang bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to examine the effects of contingency contracting techniques in reducing the , addictive behavior playing online games of students in SMPN 13 Pekanbaru. The quantitative research method was used in this study and the research was designed based on the one-group pretest – posttest design. The measuring instrument used in this study was the aggressive behavioural measurement scale consisting of 50 and 44 items before and after validation respectively. The validity score was calculated to be 0.25 and the reliability score was obtained as 0.949. The subject was determined by using purposive sampling technique, and it was obtained that 7 students in SMPN 13 Pekanbaru were identified as having a high level of addictive behavior playing online games. The data were analysed by using the non-parametric statistical technique and were tested by using the Wilcoxon analysis test. This is known from "Test Statistics", known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0.018. Because the value of 0.018 is smaller than <0.05, it can be concluded that "Ha is accepted". To that end, it can be concluded that there are differences in the scores of addictive behavior playing online games before and after treatment given in the form of Kcontingency contracting techniques. The results of the study showed that the there are differences in the scores of addictive behavior playing online games before and after treatment, in the form of contingency contracting techniques. Based on the calculations that have been done, the 71% Pre-test is in the very high category and 29% in the high category. Post-test was 71% in the medium category and 29% in the low category. Thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the technique of contingency contracting can reduce the aggressive behavior of students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru.Key Words: students of SMPN, contingency contracing, addictive playing online games

Abstract

Abstract: In the world of education that affects various aspects one of them is emotional intelligence and self-control that can harm other people and students themselves. This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence and self-control students in schools, as well as to determine the emotional intelligence of students in relation to student self-control. This research type is descriptive research. Population in this research is all class X student counted 6 class with total 210 student. sample size 165 students taken 75% of the population members. This study can be concluded that: 1) Emotional intelligence of students more than half are in the high category. With the most choices on self-regulation and motivation aspects of the highest score. Emotional intelligence of female students is higher than male students, 2) Student self-control is almost entirely in the high category. With the most choice on decision control aspects and cognitive control aspects at the highest score. Self-control of female students is higher than that of male students, and 3) Emotional intelligence of students in relation to student self-control is the highest emotional intelligence is in high self-control category, and emotional intelligence is in high self-control category.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Self Control

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to 1) To know the description of students' career self-efficacy before being given an insight into careers information services. 2) To know the process of providing information services on the insight of career to career self-efficacy. 3) To know the description of career self-efficacy after the given service insightful information about a career. 4) To determine differences in students' career self-efficacy before and after services insightful information about a career. 5) To determine the influence of information services on career insight to the students' career self-efficacy. Data collection tools in the form of career self-efficacy scale. The subjects were students of class X SMK 4 Pekanbaru, amounting to 213 people. Determination of the sample by using simple random sampling and sample in this study were 107 people. Overview of career self-efficacy before being given the information services that are in the category of being at 87,85%, higher categories by 6,54% and amounted to 5,61% lower categories. Overview of career self-efficacy after being given information service is at a high of 75,71% category, the category is very high at 14,95% and amounted to 9,34% medium category. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient between and  amounted to 0,61 and determinant coefficient  = 0,37 this means that the contribution of information services to the career self-efficacy by 37%. It can be seen  greater than  (22 > 1,960) so that Ha is accepted. Means that there is an influence on self-efficacy information services career class X SMK 4 Pekanbaru TA. 2014/2015.
