Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Audit Quality Control System Policy in the Internal Supervision of the Regional Inspectorate of West Sumbawa Regency. The aim of this research is to describe the obstacles and implementation of audit quality control system policies in the internal supervision of the Regional Inspectorate of West Sumbawa Regency. The type of research used in this research design uses a qualitative descriptive method with a comparative approach. The research results found that the Implementation of the Audit Quality Control System Policy in the Internal Supervision of the West Sumbawa Regency Regional Inspectorate was based on George C. Edward III's Theory, namely a). Communication: External communication has been carried out in accordance with Audit Standards. Meanwhile, internal communication is still not established intensively. The obstacles found were the lack of persuasive 2 (two) way communication; b). Resources: supporting resources include human resources, budget and facilities and infrastructure. The obstacles found were the lack of fulfillment of these resources in accordance with applicable needs and regulations; c). Disposition or attitude: The auditor is still negligent and not fully objective in carrying out his duties. The obstacles found were the lack of motivation and commitment of the Auditor and insufficient support from APIP Leadership; d). Bureaucratic structure: there is no SOP for implementing audit quality control. The obstacle found is that there has been no development of a quality assurance and improvement program within the scope of APIP. So it is concluded that the implementation of the Audit Quality Control System Policy in the Internal Supervision of the Regional Inspectorate of West Sumbawa Regency has not been fully implemented properly in accordance with applicable regulations and standards and there are still obstacles found in communication factors, resources, disposition or attitude and organizational structure.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Type 2 is a chronic disease that has become a global health concern, with a rising prevalence, particularly in developing countries such as Indonesia. This disease is frequently linked to an unhealthy lifestyle, including a high-sugar and fat diet, a lack of physical activity, obesity, and genetic factors. Education on the risk prevention of Type 2 Diabetes is crucial to lower the incidence of this disease and its detrimental effects. The purpose of community service is education to reduce the risk and prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus through increasing awareness, knowledge, and changes in people's behavior in living a healthy lifestyle. Method: The educational method is carried out through four stages starting from social educational, process learning, direct practicum and evaluation learning. The service and socialization results aimed at 24 respondents, and the results provided a comprehension of the essential principles, benefits, and advantages of efforts to reduce the risk of DM type 2. The pre-test findings revealed that 58.3% were in the level of lack of knowledge and 42.7% were adequate, while the post-test results showed that 79.2% were extremely knowledgeable and 20.8% were well understood, demonstrating a considerable gain in knowledge. The conclusion of education on the prevention of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) emphasizes the necessity of making healthy lifestyle changes to lower the chance of getting the condition. It is envisaged that citizens' efforts to avoid type 2 diabetes would be more successful, durable, and engage all levels of society.

Abstract

A healthy community is a group where residents play an active role in overcoming public health problems independently. Efforts that can be made to improve community health must start  with family health. Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, most families in RW 06, Sukamentri Village, Garut City District, showed that they did not understand the function of the family in the health sector, especially efforts to modify the home environment to meet health requirements. Data shows waste disposal habits, as many as 59.56% use open trash bins. In waste management, the majority (79.78%) do not sort waste. Ventilation data shows that most houses (61.80%) have adequate ventilation. These data show that some families have not been able to maintain the health of their home environment properly, such as waste disposal, wastewater disposal, ventilation, and other environmental health problems. Considering these problems, interventions need to be carried out to overcome the problem of low implementation of family functions in modifying the home environment to meet health requirements. The purpose of the activity is to increase family knowledge in implementing family functions in the health sector. The stages of the activity start from identifying problems, social preparation, and administrative preparation. Then activity results with the implementation and evaluation stages of the activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in family knowledge by 27.1 points. The average pretest score was 52.3 points and the average posttest score was 79.4 points. The activity went smoothly according to the planned time. It is hoped that the activities that have been implemented can be continued periodically by the Guntur Health Center.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang cukup rawan bencana karena berada pada ring of fire atau pertemuan 3 lempeng tektonik. Termasuk wilayah Bandung raya dengan adanya Sesar Lembang. Dibuatnya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa SMAN 6 Cimahi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Adapun populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa SMAN 6 Cimahi dengan sampel sebanyak 300 siswa. Kuisiner yang digunakan merupakan kuisioner yang dikembangkan oleh LIPI/UNESCO tahun 2006. Instrument ini memiliki tipe jawaban “ya” dengan poin 1, “tidak” dan “tidak tahu” dengan poin 0. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuisioner yang dimasukan pada google form. Skor akhir dikategorikan menjadi “kesiapsiagaan rendah”, “kesiapsiagaan sedang” dan “kesiapsiagaan tinggi”. Teknik Analisa yang digunakan adalah Teknik univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa SMAN 6 Cimahi masih tergolong rendah dengan skor akhir 58 poin dengan skor variabel pengetahuan 35,3 poin, rencana kegiatan 11 poin, peringatan 5,6 poin, mobilisasi 2,6 poin. Seluruh poin termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah. Rendahnya kesiapsiagaan siswa menandakan dibutuhkannya edukasi yang tepat berdasarkan kebutuhan. Setiap kelas nya memiliki tingkat pengetahuan sub variabel yang berbeda sehingga pemberian edukasi dapat disesuaikan prioritasnya agar tepat dan sesuai dengan target.

Abstract

This article discusses the Protocol Management Pattern and Leader Communication in forming credibility for changes in organizational functions. The Protocol Section and Leader Communication Section at the Regional Secretariat ideally has a strategic position that provides flexibility in carrying out its modern and dynamic functions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The results of the study, that the management of Protocol and Leadership Communication at the Regional Secretariat of Sumbawa Regency is still in the area of delivering information to the public, and has not played a role in strategic decision-making within the organization. Increasing understanding of Public Relations in government is very important, and Protocol and Leadership Communication activities carried out are in the field of public relations science and practice. Abstract

Naskah kuno merupakan warisan dari nenek moyang masyarakat dan tanah Sumbawa yang di dalamnya mencerminkan perilaku dan kepribadian budaya bangsa yang luhur. Namun keberadaan naskah kuno menjadi tantangan tersendiri yakni masyarakat belum memahami nilai historis dan budaya dari naskah kuno; naskah sering dianggap sebagai benda usang tanpa nilai praktis; belum banyak naskah yang didokumentasikan secara sistematis atau didigitalisasi; resiko kehilangan informasi budaya yang tak tergantikan; bahkan beberapa naskah hilang karena dijual atau dibawa keluar daerah; di samping minimnya program pemerintah daerah atau lembaga budaya untuk konservasi naskah; dan keterbatasan dana dan tenaga ahli dalam bidang filologi dan konservasi. Adapun tujuan dari Focus Group Discussion (FGD) adalah menjaga keberadaan naskah sebagai bukti sejarah, sastra, dan nilai-nilai lokal Sumbawa; serta menguatkan identitas dan jati diri daerah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk menjaring gagasan, identifikasi dan inventarisasi keberadaan naskah kuno dalam beberapa sesi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil Focus Group Discussion (FGD) menunjukan bahwa (1) sebagian besar kecamatan memiliki naskah kuno yang tersimpan di rumah-rumah, masjid tua, dan koleksi pribadi, (2) banyak naskah mengalami kerusakan fisik akibat kelembaban, rayap, dan kurangnya perawatan, (3) belum ada sistem pendataan terpadu antar kecamatan, (4) minimnya anggaran dan tenaga ahli konservasi, (5) rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap nilai naskah kuno untuk digitalisasikan, (6) belum adanya regulasi lokal yang melindungi naskah kuno sebagai cagar budaya. Sehingga melahirkan beberapa usulan strategis dalam memberikan solusi pelestarian naskah kuno di kabupaten sumbawa adalah (1) digitalisasi dan transliterasi naskah kuno secara bertahap, (2) pembuatan museum mini atau ruang pameran naskah di tiap kecamatan, dan (3) integrasi naskah kuno dalam kurikulum muatan lokal sekolah.

Abstract

Pendidikan hukum yang bersifat partisipatif menjadi pendekatan strategis dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum di kalangan masyarakat pedesaan yang selama ini cenderung termarjinalkan dari akses informasi hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendidikan hukum dalam membangun kesadaran hukum masyarakat desa, khususnya di Desa Uma Beringin, Kecamatan Unter Iwes, Kabupaten Sumbawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan hukum yang dilakukan secara partisipatif dan kontekstual melalui diskusi kelompok, teater rakyat, dan sosialisasi di forum sosial mampu meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap hukum agraria, perlindungan perempuan dan anak, serta pidana ringan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pendidikan hukum berbasis lokal tidak hanya meningkatkan kesadaran hukum, tetapi juga memperkuat peran serta masyarakat dalam penyelesaian masalah hukum secara formal.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the leading Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) causing cardiovascular complications in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of hypertension management through early detection, health education, and hypertension exercise interventions. A pre-experimental design was used with a community nursing care approach. The intervention included early detection and hypertension education for 55 residents, as well as hypertension exercise involving 15 residents, with blood pressure measured before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using bivariate analysis. Results showed that early detection identified a prevalence of 49.1% of respondents as severely overweight, 29.1% with grade 2 hypertension, and 9.1% with blood glucose levels >200 mg/dL. Unhealthy lifestyle habits included high sodium intake (69.1%), sugar (60%), fat (45.5%), while only 25.5% consumed vegetables and fruits adequately, 52.7% had low physical activity, and 10.9% were smokers. Hypertension education significantly increased knowledge scores from 5.33 to 7.69 (p = 0.000), and hypertension exercise significantly reduced systolic blood pressure from 129.47 mmHg to 122.73 mmHg (p = 0.000), and diastolic pressure from 83.53 mmHg to 81.13 mmHg (p = 0.027). Hypertension management through early detection, education, and exercise proved effective in increasing knowledge and reducing blood pressure among residents.

Abstract

The education level of parents shapes their mindset and perception of illness, significantly influencing their child’s illness perception, coping strategies, psychological well-being, medication adherence, and physical functioning. This study aimed to identify the relationship between the education level and illness perception of parents with children suffering from thalassemia major. This study used secondary data from previous research conducted within the institution that had not been published. It employed a descriptive analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, involving 90 parents as participants. Data were collected using demographic data and the Illness Perception Questionnaire-Revised (IPQ-R) instrument. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods, with the chi-square test applied for the bivariate analysis. Among all subject, the majority (51,1%) had a secondary education level. A total of 53,3% of parents had a positive illness perception. The relationship between education level and illness perception was not statistically significant (p-value = 0,813). This study indicated that parents' education level did not have a significant impact on their illness perception. Formal education was not the primary factor influencing the illness perception of parents with school-age children with thalassemia major in Bandung.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan gadget di kalangan anak-anak semakin meluas seiring perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat. Meski menawarkan kemudahan akses informasi dan hiburan, penggunaan yang berlebihan tanpa pengawasan dapat membawa dampak negatif terhadap perkembangan fisik, mental, dan sosial anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kesehatan mengenai bahaya penggunaan gadget secara berlebihan pada anak serta mengidentifikasi strategi pencegahan yang dapat diterapkan oleh orang tua dan pendidik. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan komunikatif melalui Ceramah interaktif, Diskusi kelompok kecil, Media audio-visual dan permainan games. Secara umum, hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan media yang menarik dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap pemahaman serta sikap anak sekolah dasar dalam menggunakan gadget secara lebih sehat dan seimbang. Perubahan juga terlihat dari hasil kuesioner sederhana yang dibagikan sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan siswa meningkat dari skor 60 menjadi 85 dari skala 100. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan sangat penting dilakukan sejak dini untuk membentuk perilaku digital yang sehat, serta mencegah dampak negatif gadget terhadap tumbuh kembang anak. Program serupa sebaiknya dilakukan secara berkala dan terintegrasi dengan dukungan dari sekolah dan keluarga. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Kesehatan, Gadget, Anak-Anak, Bahaya Digital  ABSTRACT The use of gadgets among children is becoming increasingly widespread with the rapid development of digital technology. While offering easy access to information and entertainment, excessive unsupervised use can have negative impacts on a child's physical, mental, and social development. This service aims to provide health education on the dangers of excessive gadget use in children and to identify prevention strategies that can be implemented by parents and educators. Thru a participatory and communicative approach using interactive lectures, small group discussions, audio-visual media, and games. Overall, the results of this activity indicate that health education with a participatory approach and engaging media can have a significant impact on elementary school children's understanding and attitudes toward using gadgets in a healthier and more balanced way. Changes are also evident in the results of a simple questionnaire distributed before and after the education. The average knowledge score of the students increased from 60 to 85 out of 100. Overall, this activity demonstrates that health education is crucial to be implemented from an early age to shape healthy digital behavior and prevent the negative impact of gadgets on children's growth and development. Similar programs should be conducted regularly and integrated with support from schools and families. Keywords: Health Education, Gadgets, Children, Digital Dangers
