Abstract

This study is motivated by ongoing quality issues in Islamic education, particularly the limited effectiveness of supervision as an integral component of the educational management system. In practice, supervision is often reduced to a mere administrative activity, which undermines its potential role in improving educational quality. This article aims to conceptually examine Islamic education supervision within the framework of educational quality management by addressing the following key questions: (1) how is supervision conceptually positioned within Islamic education quality management, and (2) what strategic roles does supervision play in strengthening educational quality governance? Using a qualitative approach through a literature review and conceptual analysis of relevant scholarly sources, this study finds that Islamic education supervision holds a strategic function as a mechanism of control, evaluation, and quality assurance within the management system. Beyond monitoring, supervision serves as a managerial instrument that supports the sustainable enhancement of governance and quality improvement in Islamic educational institutions. This article contributes theoretically to the discourse on Islamic education supervision and offers managerial insights for strengthening quality management practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan secara komprehensif hubungan antara Ulūmul Qur’ān, Ilmu Tafsir, dan Uṣūl al-Tafsīr, serta menjelaskan urgensi Asbābun Nuzūl dan konsep Nāsikh wa Mansūkh dalam memahami isi Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan mengkaji sumber-sumber klasik dan kontemporer dalam studi Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ulūmul Qur’ān merupakan disiplin dasar yang mencakup semua ilmu yang berkaitan dengan Al-Qur’an, sementara Ilmu Tafsir berfungsi sebagai praktik interpretasi ayat-ayatnya, dan Uṣūl al-Tafsīr berperan sebagai alat metodologis yang menghubungkan keduanya. Asbābun Nuzūl memiliki fungsi penting dalam menyediakan konteks historis dan sosial wahyu ayat-ayat, sehingga membantu mufassir memahami makna ayat-ayat secara akurat. Sementara itu, Nāsikh wa Mansūkh merupakan dasar untuk memahami dinamika hukum Al-Qur'an, yang menunjukkan fleksibilitas Syariah sesuai dengan konteks waktu dan situasi. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman integratif terhadap kelima konsep ini merupakan prasyarat untuk penafsiran yang valid dan sistematis sesuai dengan aturan ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of technology-enhanced Play-Based Learning (PBL) through the use of Interactive Flat Panels (IFPs) in an early childhood education context. Adopting a qualitative case study design at TK Masyithoh Mambaul Ulum Paiton, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers and parents, and analysis of instructional documentation. The study examines how digital pedagogy is enacted within play activities and how such practices relate to holistic child development. Findings suggest that PBL was deliberately structured by aligning developmental objectives with integrated concrete, role-based, and digital play scenarios. The incorporation of IFP technology appeared to influence patterns of classroom engagement, particularly in children’s attentional focus and collaborative interaction. Observational data indicate that language and social-emotional domains were more prominently stimulated, while fine motor and analytical domains received comparatively less emphasis. Rather than asserting causal effectiveness, this study provides a context-sensitive account of how digital tools are pedagogically interpreted and integrated within play-based instruction. The findings underscore the importance of teacher readiness and intentional design in shaping balanced developmental stimulation. This case contributes to ongoing discussions on digital pedagogy in early childhood education by highlighting the complexities of integrating interactive technology within a holistic Play-Based Learning framework.

Abstract

The issue of this research was the suboptimal learning motivation from the students at SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur, which hasn't met the minimum standards. This research aimed to examine the impact of teachers' basic teaching skills on students' learning motivation. The type of this research was quantitative with the combination of ex-post facto methods. The population of all the students of grade five at SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur consists of 48 students. The sampling technique was saturated sampling, so the sample in this study consisted of 48 students. Data came from a 35-item questionnaire, analyzed with the Regression test. The results indicated that teachers' basic teaching skills positively affect student motivation by 9.5% (based on R Square value of 0.095), in conclusion, there was an influence between teachers' basic teaching skills and student learning motivation, while others are influenced by other supporting factors.

Abstract

Objective: Innovative digital learning media are increasingly needed to help students understand complex biological concepts and develop scientific literacy. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the validity and practicality of FAZAR ALIRA, a learning media that integrates augmented reality (AR) visualization and virtual laboratory simulations within a PBL framework for teaching the human circulatory system. Method: The study employed a research and development approach consisting of analysis, design, development, and evaluation stages. The developed media includes AR visualizations of laminar and turbulent blood flow, contextual learning materials related to lifestyle and cardiovascular health, and interactive virtual laboratory simulations that allow students to investigate the relationship between blood vessel resistance, blood pressure, and heart workload. Results: The validity of the media was evaluated by science education experts and practitioners, while its practicality was examined through teacher and student responses during implementation. The results indicate that FAZAR ALIRA achieved high validity across content, construct, and language aspects and was considered practical and easy to use in classroom learning. Novelty: This study lies in integrating AR-based blood flow visualization, contextual health narratives, and virtual laboratory inquiry within a PBL environment to support students’ scientific literacy in learning the human circulatory system.

Abstract

Semirejo Village, whose economy is mostly engaged in agriculture and trade, such as MSMEs, requires the protection of its intellectual property rights. Intellectual property rights (IPR) protection is defined as legal protection provided by the state to individuals, groups, or entities whose ideas and ideas are realized in the form of copyrighted works. Using the empirical juridical method, this study analyzes the challenges faced by MSMEs in registering trademarks and protecting trade secrets, as well as their impact on business sustainability. The results show that most MSMEs in Semirejo Village have limited awareness of IPR, especially regarding registration procedures and the long-term benefits of such legal protection. This study recommends increased education and support from the government to help MSMEs access IPR protection, which can improve business competitiveness and protection in the wider market.Desa Semirejo desa yang sebagian besar perekonomiannya bergerak di bidang pertanian dan perdagangan, seperti UMKM, membutuhkan adanya perlindungan hak kekayaan intelektual yang dimiliki. Perlindungan hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI) diartikan sebagai perlindungan hukum yang diberikan negara kepada individu, kelompok, atau badan yang ide dan gagasannya diwujudkan dalam bentuk karya cipta. Dengan menggunakan metode yuridis empiris, penelitian ini menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi UMKM dalam mendaftarkan merek dan melindungi rahasia dagang, serta dampaknya terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar UMKM di Desa Semirejo memiliki kesadaran yang terbatas tentang HKI, terutama terkait prosedur pendaftaran dan manfaat jangka panjang dari perlindungan hukum tersebut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya peningkatan edukasi dan dukungan dari pemerintah untuk membantu UMKM mengakses perlindungan HKI, yang dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan perlindungan bisnis di pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Research on gamified learning in Islamic education remains limited, particularly studies examining the effect of digital learning media on students’ learning motivation. This study investigated whether Quizizz improves students’ motivation in Islamic Education compared with conventional instruction.A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group was employed. The participants were 69 tenth-grade students at SMKN 2 Bondowoso, Indonesia, consisting of 34 students in the experimental group and 35 students in the control group. The experimental group learned Islamic Education using Quizizz, while the control group received conventional instruction. Students’ learning motivation was measured using a validated and reliable 20-item questionnaire based on Keller’s ARCS motivation model. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests, an independent-samples t-test, simple linear regression, and Cohen’s d effect size.The experimental group achieved a higher posttest mean score than the control group (M = 83.09, SD = 8.17 vs. M = 64.29, SD = 8.33). The difference was statistically significant, t(67) = −9.47, p .001, with a very large effect size. Regression analysis also showed that Quizizz had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation, explaining 12.4% of the variance.The findings suggest that Quizizz can enhance students’ learning motivation by creating a more interactive, engaging, and feedback-rich learning environment. Integrating gamified digital media into Islamic Education may support more active and student-centered learning, although further studies with stronger experimental controls and longer intervention periods are recommended.
