Abstract

The research aims to build a SIRI model of the Typhoid spread (Susceptible-Infected-Recovered-Infected) by adding assumption that people who are recovered might be infected again. This model is divided into three classes, namely, susceptible, infected and recovered. the research procedure is carried out through several stages: Building SIRI model for the spread of Typhoid, examining the stability of the equilibrium point and determining the basic reproduction number, and applying the model to Typhoid cases in South Sulawesi. The data is the number of Typhus patients in 2018 that was obtained from Health office of South Sulawesi Province. SIRI type mathematical models are used to determine the equilibrium point. Based on the simulation results of the SIRI model, the basic reproduction number is 0,000903 indicate that, indicating that the spread of Typhus in the Province of South Sulawesi in 2018 was not an extraordinary event or it can be said that someone who is infected with this Typhoid does not cause another person to contract the same disease, in other words there was no outbreak in that population.

Abstract

This research is an applied research about application of the Homotopy Perturbation method to solve numeric solution of SIRI model in the use of E-money in E-parking system. The data that used in this research is a data which obtained by share the questionnaires to 236 respondents randomly at the research location at Panakkukang Mall, Nipah Mall and Ratu Indah Mall . This research starts from setermining general solution with Homotopy Perturbation method, parameter decision, simulation and result analyzis. This research gets movement graphic and resukt analyzis from SIRI model by riil data. The conclutions gets that the Homotopy Perturbation method can be used to analyze the preference of using E-money in E-parking system also can be a consideration by various parties to maximize the role of the use of E-money in various aspects in life, especially in E-parking.

Abstract

This study aims to build a mathematical model of SEIR in skin cancer due to ultraviolet light exposure assuming that there is an incubation period in skin cancer. This model is divided into 4 classes namely susceptible, exposed, infected and recovered. The research procedure is carried out through the stages: make a SEIR model on skin cancer in the province of South Sulawesi, determine the equilibrium point of the model, analyze the stability of the equilibrium point, determine the base reproduction number ( ). The data used in building the model were skin cancer sufferers from 2018 to 2019 from Sudirohusodo Wahidin Hospital in Makassar. The results obtained that the greater the percentage of recovery rate of each infected individual due to treatment causes the population of the recovered class to increase and the population of the infected class to decrease. In other words skin cancer is not endemic in South Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

. Tingkat pemakaian energi listrik di Kota Makassar tiap bulannya pada tahun 2018 sampai dengan 2022 berbeda-beda. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peramalan agar dapat dilakukan pengelolaan dan perencanaan kebutuhan energi listrik dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui model ARIMA terbaik yang digunakan dalam peramalan kebutuhan energi listrik di Kota Makassar 12 bulan berikutnya. Tahapan untuk menentukan model ARIMA dimulai dari identifikasi kestasioneran data, indentifikasi model sementara, estimasi dan uji signifikansi parameter, uji asumsi residual, pemilihan model terbaik, melakukan peramalan serta uji ketepatan model peramalan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh model terbaik yaitu ARIMA(1,0,0) dengan nilai MAPE sebesar 0,4735% yang berarti bahwa model sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam peramalan. Kata Kunci: Energi Listrik, ARIMA, MAPE The level of electricity consumption in Makassar City every month from 2018 to 2022 is different. Therefore, forecasting is needed so that the management and planning of electrical energy needs can be carried out properly. The purpose of this study was to determine the best ARIMA model to be used in forecasting electricity demand in Makassar City for the next 12 months. The steps for determining the ARIMA model start with identifying the stationarity of the data, identifying temporary models, estimating ang testing the significance of parameters, testing the residual assumptions, selecting the best model, making forecasts and testing the accuracy of the forecasting model. The results of this study were obtained by the best model, ARIMA(1,0,0) with a MAPE value of 0,4735% which said that the model was very good and feasible to use in forecasting. Abstract

This study examines the influence of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) model with Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions, on students' achievement. The experimental research was conducted at Junior High School of 1 Ampana Tete and featured 56 Grade IX students. These students were divided into an experimental group that received TPS with HOTS and a control group that received conventional. Descriptive and inferential statistics were utilized to analyze pretest and posttest scores. The results indicated that the experimental group showed a noteworthy enhancement in their achievements, as seen by an average posttest score of 59.07, which was significantly higher than the control group's score of 40.86. The experimental group achieved a normalized gain (N-Gain) of 0.517, indicating a medium level of improvement. In contrast, the control group's N-Gain was 0.303, indicating a low level of improvement. The results of t-test have indicated that the TPS model combined with HOTS questions, has a considerable favorable impact on students' performance. This study provides evidence for the efficacy of cooperative learning practices in improving academic performance in the field of mathematics. The findings indicate that instructors should integrate TPS and HOTS questions to cultivate a more engaging and intellectually stimulating learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi keyakinan diri, dan kecemasan matematika terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 6 Moncongloe, jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak seratus siswa. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan systematic proporsional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket keyakinan diri dan angket kecemasan matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis jalur, analisis ini digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh secara langsung variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. (1) Hasil analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata keyakinan diri adalah 56,45 berada pada kategori sedang, nilai rata-rata kecemasan matematika adalah 65,32 juga berada pada kategori sedang, dan nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar matematika adalah 77,40 berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) Hasil analisis data secara inferensial menunjukan bahwa keyakinan diri berpengaruh positif signifikan secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) Hasil analisis data secara inferensial menunjukan bahwa kecemasan berpengaruh negatif signifikan secara langsung terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu wujud nyata kontribusi akademisi dalam peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Artikel ini memaparkan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan bersama guru-guru di Kabupaten Jeneponto, dengan fokus pada pelatihan penggunaan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) untuk analisis data. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data penelitian pendidikan, baik untuk keperluan pengembangan profesional, pelaporan hasil pembelajaran, maupun penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sesi teori, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan personal. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep statistik dasar, keterampilan menggunakan SPSS, serta kemampuan menginterpretasikan hasil analisis data. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat budaya literasi data di kalangan guru dan mendorong mereka untuk lebih aktif melakukan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This innovative study addresses critical flood prediction needs in Bor County, South Sudan, utilizing machine learning to develop an intelligent forecasting model. The research integrates diverse analytical techniques, including land use analysis and rainfall calculations, with a decade of weather data to understand complex hydrological dynamics. This research employs machine learning classifiers such as Support Vector Machines, Decision Trees, and Neural Networks. Findings reveal promising results, with the Linear SVM classifier achieving 87.5% prediction accuracy for raw data and 100% accuracy for high-velocity flooding events. The Naive Bayes classifier matched this performance, while Artificial Neural Networks showed a slight advantage in runoff estimation. The study's novelty lies in its holistic approach, combining machine learning with advanced visualization tools and geographic information systems. This creates a dynamic, real-time forecasting system bridging sophisticated analysis and practical flood management strategies. Focusing on model interpretability and multi-scale forecasting enhances its value to policymakers and disaster management authorities. This research significantly advances the application of AI to flood prediction and disaster management in offering future studies on humanitarian challenges. Abstract

برنامج تسميع مفردات هو برنامج يقام لتحسين مهارات الطلاب اللغوية. تم تنفيذ هذا البرنامج من قبل معهد سبيل المؤمنين تندم هيلير الثاني لتحسين مهارات التحدث لدى الطلاب.أسئلة البحث هذا البحث هي كيف عملية برنامج تسميع المفردات اليومية لطلاب الصف الأول المتوسط بمعهد سبيل المؤمنين تندم؟ وما هي المشكلات التي يواجهها الطلاب في هذا البرنامج؟ أهداف البحث هي لمعرفة كيفية عملية برنامج تسميع المفردات اليومية لطلاب الصف الأول المتوسط بمعهد سبيل المؤمنين، ولمعرفة المشكلات التي يواجهها الطلاب الصف الأول المتوسط أ في هذا البرنامج. هذا البحث على منهج الكيفي الوصفي، ونتيجة في هذا البحث هي أن عملية برنامج تسميع الفردات على طريقة الحلقة، وتنفيذ البرنامج لا يخرج من ثلاث محاور: التقديم (تقديم المفردات في القاموس إلى الطلاب)، التدريب (تسميع المفردات إلى المشرف)، التقويم (اختبار). أما كيفية تنفيذ البرنامج فيما يلي: يجلس الطلاب حول المشرف، قبل أن تبدأ الحلقة يقرأ المشرف كشف الحضور، ثم يقرأ الطلاب المفردات دون النظر إلى القاموس على المشرفين واحدًا فواحدا، وكان الطلاب يُسمعون المفردة أمام المشرف على الأقل مفردتين مع أمثلة الجمل الموجودة في القاموس ومن أنهى حفظه يغادر ثم يواصله أصدقاؤه حتى النهاية. أما المشكلات التي يواجهها طلاب هي: ‌ضعف قدرة بعض الطلاب لحفظ المفردات لا سيما لحفظ المفردات الغريبة، وقت تنفيذ البرنامج غير مناسب.
