Abstract

This community service generally aims to improve the ability of teachers to write articles on the results of classroom action research which is expected to have a positive impact on position certification and promotion of teacher ranks/classes as well as increasing teacher professional competence. where the service implementers provide training and direct assistance to the trainees with a certain closeness and emotional bond, of course, by following the health protocols, including: wearing masks and/or face shields, washing hands before entering the room, checking temperature, maintaining a good distance between participants and others. participants and participants with resource persons. As for the results and discussion, this community service with the theme of Article Writing Training on Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Increasing Teacher Professional Competence was carried out at SMPN 2 Padaherang, Padaherang sub-district, Padalarang Regency with a total of 115 participants. In addition, the work on the articles of the training participants in Writing Articles of Classroom Action Research Based on the 4cs Strategy in Improving Teacher Professional Competence will be published in the PAKAR GURU journal, a national-level journal that has a credit score of 2. So that this can help participants to be submitted in promotion.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the impact of the implementation of managerial strategies undertaken by principals on the achieve-ment of principals' quality. This research using quantitative research and sample in this study amounted to 27 SMA Negeri in Bandung through panel data regression analysis during the 2016-2018 period. The results showed that managerial strategy signi-ficantly influenced the achievement of school quality. Managerial strategies in this study are measured into three strategies: 1) the effectiveness of school management, 2) strengthening the competence of graduates, 3) empowering teachers and staff. The effectiveness of school management strategies has a significantly positive effect on school quality outcomes, strategy of strengthen-ing the competencies of graduates and empowering teachers and staff has no significant effect on the achievement of school quality during the 2016-2018 period. As a recommendation, school prin-cipals should encourage graduate competencies through empo-wering teachers and staff to be actively involved so that school quality can be achieved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of ethical leadership, teacher capacity building and school culture in the implementation of character education. This study used a mixed method sequential expalanatory survey method of 252 private junior high schools in West Java, known as Boarding Schools, data analysis used a Co-variant-based SEM approach. The results showed that leadership in boarding school-based junior high schools was formed by the leadership's awareness of ethical values. The teacher is not yet fully ready to accept the online-based learning process and the inter-action limitation system in terms of efforts to achieve learning objectives in the learning system in the boarding school. The cultural values developed include local wisdom, orientation to science and theology. The successful implementation of character education depends on the ability, capability and contribution of the individual in providing character education. Ethical leadership, teacher capacity building and school culture have a significant role in the effectiveness of implementing character education.

Abstract

Tuntutan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah semakin kompleks dan dibutuhkan dalam proses penyelenggraan pendidikan kejuruan (SMK) untuk menciptakan lulusan yang inovatif, berkualitas dan memiliki daya saing sesuai standar dan kondisi industri. Selain itu, keberanian kepala sekolah dalam mengambil risiko melakukan perubahan dan terobosan-terobosan yang dibuat sebagai upaya pemenuhan penyelarasan kebutuhan dan tuntutan DUDI penting dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk dapat memberikan gambaran beserta jawaban dari masalah penelitian terkait kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Infroman penelitian yaitu 1) pemimpin, 2) wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, 3) wakil kepala bidang hubungan industri, 4) kepala program, dan 5) guru. Wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi dilakukan sebagai pengumpulan data dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMKN 2 Kota Bogor dapat berperan sebagai penggerak perubahan yang mampu membangun kemitraan dengan DUDI melalui program-program sekolah berbasis indutri, sehingga mampu menyerap lulusan di berbagai perusahaan atau industri kemitraan yang telah dilaksanakan diantaranya sinkronisasi kurikulum, PKL, TEFA, UJIKOM, kelas industri, magang guru, guest teacher, BKK dan recruitment. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa pengelolaan SMK dibutuhkan  manajerial skill kepala sekolah dalam merespon perubahan dan perkembangan DUDI bagi kemajuan sekolah.

Abstract

TK adalah organisasi pendidikan yang memberikan pelayanan pendidikan anak usia dini.Salah satu kunci keberhasilan lembaga pendidikan TK adalah sejauh mana guru-guru memunculkan dan mengimplementasikan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) dalam  pekerjaannya sehari-hari sehingga tujuan lembaga  tercapai. Untuk memunculkan dan mengimplementasikan OCB guru TK diperlukan adanya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala TK dan kepuasan kerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala TK dan kepuasan kerja guru terhadap OCB guru TK se-Kabupaten Kudus. Hasil penelitian ditemukan  kecenderungan  variabel  Kepuasan Kerja Guru adalah sangat tinggi sedangkan variabel Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala TK dan OCB guru TK pada kategori tinggi. Kepemimpinan transformasional kepala TK memberikan kontribusi cukup tinggi terhadap variabel OCB guru TK , kepuasan kerja guru juga memberikan kontribusi cukup tinggi terhadap OCB  guru TK , dan keduanya memberikan kontribusi tinggi terhadap OCB  guru TK . Berdasarkan penemuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kepala TK dan kepuasan kerja guru mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap OCB guru TK. Rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan OCB guru TK adalah:  Kepala TK di Kabupaten Kudus untuk mempertahankan kepemimpinan tranformasional dan meningkatkan motivasi inspirasional kepada para guru TK dengan cara mengkomunikasikan dengan baik dan memberikan kepercayaan kepada para guru untuk meningkatan dan mengembangkan kemampuan diri agar tercapai tujuan di lembaga TK tempat mereka bekerja.Kindergarten is an educational institutions  that provides early childhood education services. One of the keys to the success of educational institutions such as Kindergartens is the extent to which kindergarten teachers demonstrate and implement Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in their daily work so that the institution's goals can be achieved. For kindergarten teachers to demonstrate and implement OCB, what is required is transformational leadership among Kindergarten principal, as well as teacher job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of transformational leadership of Kindergarten principal and teacher’s job satisfaction towards the OCB of kindergarten teachers in Kudus. The research found that data trends on  variable of  Teacher Job Satisfaction, is very high, while the data trends on both variables,  Transformational Leadership of Kindergarten principals and the kindergarten teachers’ OCB variable are  high. The contribution of Transformational leadership of kindergarten principal to the OCB of kindergarten teachers variable was fairly high, the contribution of teachers’job satisfaction to kindergarten teachers’ OCB was also fairly high, and both variables to the kindergarten teachers’ OCB was high. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the transformational leadership of kindergarten principal and teachers’ job satisfaction both have a significant influence on kindergarten teachers’ OCB. Recommendations to improve the OCB of kindergarten teachers include Principals in kindergartens in Kudus maintaining transformational leadership and inspirational motivation to improve kindergarten teachers’communication skills, as well as building teacher confidence to improve and develop their ability to achieve goals in the kindergartens where they work.

Abstract

AbstrakMutu sekolah berkaitan langsung dengan bagaimana kualitas pendidikan pada sebuah satuan pendidikan. Dalam pencapaian mutu sekolah yang baik perlu diperhatikan mutu guru, mutu siswa, kultur dan disiplin sekolah, serta fasilitas dan pembiayaan pendidikan. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada kajian bagaimana apakah terdapat pengaruh manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan dan fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap mutu sekolah. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui gambaran dan menganalisis pengaruh manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan dan fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap mutu sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel terhadap 33 kepala sekolah SMP pada sub-rayon 1 di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaruh manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan dan fasilitas pembelajaran terhadap mutu sekolah secara bersama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka direkomendasikan untuk sekolah agar memperhatikan tahapan manajemen pembiayaan pendidikan terutama pada saat perencanaan dan pengawasan pembiayaan. Sedangkan pada prinsip pemanfaatan fasilitas perlu diperhatikan efisiensi terhadap penggunaan fasilitas pembelajaran agar dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Kata Kunci : Manajemen Pembiayaan Pendidikan, Fasilitas Pendidikan, Mutu Sekolah Abstract The quality of education is directly related to how the quality of education in an educational unit. In achieving a good quality of education need to be considered in teacher quality, student quality, culture and school discipline, as well as facilities and financing of education. This study focuses on the study of how the influence of financial management of education and learning facilities on quality of education. The goal is to describe and analyze the influence of education financing and facility management of learning on educational quality. This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. Sampling was filled to 33 junior high school principal in the sub-rayon 1 in Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Techniques of analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. These results indicate that the effect of the influence of education financing and facilities management of the quality of education learning together provide a strong and significant influence. Based on these findings, it is recommended to schools to pay attention to the stages of education finance management, especially in the planning and supervision of financing. While in principle the use of the facility to consider the efficiency of the use of learning facilities in order to achieve the objectives of learning and improving the quality of education. Keyword: Financing Management Education, Educational Facilities, Quality Schools

Abstract

Sebuah organisasi pendidikan seharusnya selalu melakukan pengembangan pengembangan strategi yang disesuaikan dengan tuntutan dan kebutuhan lingkungan agar mampu bertahan dan bersaing dengan organisasi pendidikan yang lainnya. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, agar bisa mencapai daya saing global di dunia pendidikan, selayaknya setiap organisasi pendidikan harus selalu melakukan contiously improvement di dalam berbagai komponen manajemen pendidikan sehingga mampu memenuhi keinginan stakeholder yang dijadikan patokan atau standar dalam rangka mencapai daya saing secara global.
