Abstract

Cases of criminal acts of corruption and Money Laundering have such fundamental ties. In this case the act of corruption is a part of the special criminal law in addition to having special specifications or different from the general criminal law or other, such as a deviation of procedural law and when viewed from the material regulated, the act of corruption directly or indirectly there is a the case or further criminal action from the existence of this criminal act of corruption resulting in a loss that affects the country's economy, namely by committing the crime of money laundering as an act of laundering or busting the trace rather than the original criminal activity. In addition, in these two acts there is a form of indictment which is very important in the Money Laundering Act because this is very much a part of the determination by the judge in proving an element of guilt from the offender, therefore, the preparation of an appropriate indictment in the Criminal Act of Laundering The money in which the part can't be ignored. So, in the development of the case, we need to know a lot about the continuity of corruption in the money laundering law, the use of money laundering legislation in its handling of corruption to optimize the efforts to recover state losses, and also the mechanism of imposing criminal penalties in proving the crime of money laundering without first proving the crime predicate as the most important element in imposing sanction.

Abstract

Freedom of religion is a right guaranteed by law, including the right to establish places of worship for the safe and peaceful practice of religion. Given the potential for conflict between religious communities, the government must accommodate these needs fairly and without favouring any particular group. This study aims to analyse the application of freedom of religion in the establishment of houses of worship in Cilegon City based on applicable laws and regulations and to find a fair solution for all parties in order to create a more inclusive and effective policy to ensure the right to worship for all citizens without discrimination and not to create conflict between religious communities. In conducting this research, a normative research method was used, namely by analysing existing and applicable laws and regulations, then reviewing how they are applied in society. In this case, it was found that there are values in the regulations that do not apply in society, namely that there is rejection in the establishment of houses of worship of certain religions by the surrounding community. On the other hand, an in-depth analysis is needed and the aspirations of the rejecting community must be accepted so that justice is created and does not cause conflict between religious communities.

Abstract

The research aims to train oneself to articulate scientific thoughts in writing so that knowledge, particularly legal knowledge, continues to develop. The research also focuses on the implementation of Law No. 35 of 2009 regarding legal action against the circulation and abuse of narcotics, specifically magic mushrooms, in Yogyakarta City, as well as the obstacles faced by the police's narcotics unit, the Sleman Police Department, the Investigation Division, and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN). This study employs a socio-legal approach and is analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The primary data comes from interviews with the BNN and the police in the Yogyakarta region. Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of enhancing human resources, knowledge, and priorities in law enforcement related to the circulation and abuse of magic mushrooms in Yogyakarta. More effective and comprehensive law enforcement is needed to address this issue thoroughly. The research findings indicate the ambiguity of the legal status of magic mushrooms, the limitations of law enforcement resources, technical challenges in enforcement, a lack of prioritization in action, and the need for broader education and knowledge.
