Abstract

This study aims to analyze and map the alternative character representation of Werkudara in the traditional Javanese puppet performance (pakeliran) titled Lakon Wahyu Eka Bawana, specifically focusing on its potential as a medium for character education and fundamental ethical values for primary school children. Werkudara, commonly known for his strength, is uniquely interpreted through three principles: Lila (sincere sacrifice/sincerity), Wani (moral courage/integrity), and Korban (collective self-sacrifice). Employing a qualitative approach with textual analysis and Malinowski's functional theory, the study finds that these three principles transcend mere narrative function. Functionally, Lila serves as a basis for fundamental ethics (honesty and humility), Wani as moral inspiration (integrity and responsibility), and Korban as a strengthener of social solidarity (mutual cooperation and social care). The value mapping demonstrates that Werkudara's character is highly relevant and can be integrated into the primary school curriculum as a concrete model rooted in local wisdom. The study concludes that traditional arts like wayang kulit are living and functional cultural media, effective in instilling noble values and preserving morality within the community.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the profile of teachers in implementing online learning based on application media 2) find out the obstacles experienced by teachers in implementing online learning based on application media. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kidul No. 16 Surakarta uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were teachers of class I to class VI. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Learning is carried out online using the internet and media applications such as whatsapp, zoom, google form, and google meet. The learning process is carried out with due regard to teacher competency standards, namely 1) pedagogic competency standards 2) professional competency standards 3) personality competency standards 4) social competency standards. In carrying out the learning process, the teacher encountered several obstacles. However, the process of implementing online learning at SD Negeri Mangkubumen Kidul No. 16 Surakarta can be said to be quite good.

Abstract

 This study aims to identify the characteristics of teaching materials needed inlearning Javanese, develop and produce teaching materials "Character Values of PandawaFigures" for Elementary Schools, and analyze their feasibility. The method used is researchand development with the ADDIE model. Data were obtained through observation, interviews,needs questionnaires, and assessment questionnaires from material experts, media experts,practitioners, and art experts. The results of the study include analysis of teaching materialneeds, development process, final product in the form of textbooks, and feasibility test results.The conclusion shows that the teaching materials needed are simple textbooks, easy tounderstand, independent, focused on Pandawa character values, and do not require additionalmaterials. The development follows the ADDIE model, and the results are textbooks that are inaccordance with the needs of educators. The validity of the teaching materials scored 84%from material experts (valid), 90% from media experts (very valid), 75% from practitioners(valid), and 80% from art experts (valid).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of the impact of online learning on reading comprehension skills. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Parakan. Research data collection is done through data collection techniques of observation, interviews and document studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Parakan in analyzing reading comprehension skills in fiction stories were still less successful in obtaining reading information, explaining the intrinsic elements of reading, drawing conclusions from the reading, and determining statements that were in accordance with the contents of the reading. from reading. Constraints in reading comprehension skills are the students' lack of interest in reading, lack of reading facilities and the role of parents. The solution to these problems is to foster students' interest in reading, improve reading facilities both at school and at home, and get used to reading from an early age by parents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PJBL) dalam mengembangkan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas V SD Negeri 2 Truwolu ditinjau dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis multiple-case study. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas V dan sembilan peserta didik yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Validitas data diuji menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan menguatkan aspek press melalui penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan perancangan proyek terstruktur. Tahap pelaksanaan menunjukkan perubahan fokus pada aspek process dan person melalui peran guru sebagai fasilitator yang responsif dalam memberikan umpan balik dan fleksibilitas waktu. Tahap evaluasi menunjukkan aspek product dengan temuan bahwa proyek terbuka menghasilkan perkembangan kreativitas lebih optimal pada indikator fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration dibanding proyek terstruktur. Kelemahan utama meliputi minimnya keterlibatan siswa dalam perencanaan proyek, ketergantungan pada guru, dan evaluasi yang belum terdokumentasi secara sistematis. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa keseimbangan antara struktur dan kebebasan dalam desain proyek merupakan faktor penting dalam pengembangangan kreativitas siswa melalui model PJBL.

Abstract

This study attempts to provide a description of application of problem-based learning model based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) that can increase environmental awareness. This study utilizes the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The study was conducted with all students from grade V A at SD Negeri Rejosari Surakarta as subjects. The data used are qualitative and quantitative data with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity test technique uses triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis uses data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study prove that the model can increase students' environmental awareness which is reflected in the increasing understanding of environmental issues, empathy and responsibility, and environmentally conscious behavior in everyday life.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Bahasa Jawa krama alus merupakan warisan budaya yang kian tergerus oleh dominasi bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Jawa ngoko dalam komunikasi sehari-hari siswa sekolah dasar. Di SDN 1 Kebakan, sebanyak 92% siswa kelas V memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM 70) dalam menulis teks basa krama alus. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes unjuk kerja menulis, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil: Penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Nilai rata-rata pratindakan 40,90 dengan ketuntasan 8% meningkat menjadi 82,52 dengan ketuntasan 84% pada akhir siklus II. Peningkatan terlihat pada aspek fonologi, diksi, struktur kalimat, kapitalisasi, dan tanda baca. Implikasi: Model PjBL terbukti efektif sebagai alternatif pembelajaran inovatif yang tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan menulis, tetapi juga menumbuhkan apresiasi siswa terhadap bahasa dan budaya Jawa sebagai bagian dari pelestarian identitas budaya lokal.

Abstract

Abstract. This aim of this research is to describe the ability to video-based storytelling skills in grade V SDN Wirotaman in the academic year 2020/2021. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Wirotaman as many as eight children as the research sample taken by using purposive sampling technique. The technique of collecting data was carried out by interviews, and document analysis by testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis models. The results of this study indicate that students are able to tell interactive video-based stories by fulfilling the specified indicators. The results of this study also encourage teachers to determine effective strategies, models, and methods so as to improve students' video-based storytelling skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran dan kendala yang dialami siswa dalam keterampilan bercerita pada materi cerita rakyat Jawa di SDN Mangkubumen Lor Nomor 15 Surakarta. Penelitian ini berawal dari rasa ingin tahu peneliti tentang tantangan dan hambatan yang dialami dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bercerita, khususnya dalam konteks bahasa Jawa. Peneliti memilih mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa karena bahasa Jawa merupakan bahasa ibu yang jarang digunakan oleh siswa, terutama di daerah perkotaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pelestarian bahasa Jawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pemilihan metode ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan untuk mengungkap fakta di lapangan selama penelitian berlangsung melalui observasi. Selain menggunakan observasi, penelitian ini juga menggunakan wawancara dan tes sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kerangka berpikir Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor tertentu, baik internal maupun eksternal siswa, juga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam menguasai keterampilan bercerita pada sebagian siswa. Kendala tersebut juga dapat berasal dari guru yang kurang bijak dalam memilih metode pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this research is to raise Javanese alphabet nglegena writing skills at students on the third grade through the use of Numbered Heads Together model based on Javanese Alphabet Cube media. Research about Classroom Action executed in two cycles. Every cycle composes of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects are 20 students and teacher of the third grade. Techniques of data collection are observation, interview, test, and documentation. Validity data test techniques used are validity of content and triangulation. Data analysis technique consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the outcome of this research, it is obtained that the class’ average grade on pre-action is 49,03 with classical complement which is 5%. The class’ average grade in the first cycle increases to 70,5 with classical complement is 55%. Furthermore, the class’ average grade in cycle II increases again to 83,78 with classical complement is 90%. The conclusion is the use of Numbered Heads Together model based on Javanese Alphabet Cube media can raise Javanese alphabet nglegena writing skill at students on the third grade of SD N 3 Macanan, Kebakkramat, Karanganyar at the academic year 2018/ 2019.Keywords: Javanese alphabet nglegena writing skills, Numbered Heads Together models, Javanese Alphabet Cube media.
