Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: 1) land characteristics in the Takapala Watershed, Jeneberang Hulu Sub Watershed, Gowa Regency, 2) Land suitability for clove plants, 3) land suitability distribution for clove plants in Takapala Watershed, Jeneberang Hulu Sub Watershed, Gowa Regency. The method used is purposive sampling with data analysis techniques, namely matching techniques. The results showed: 1) the characteristics of the land in the Takapala watershed, the Jeneberang Upper Watershed, which is located in a slightly wet climate area; tempereture or air temperature is in hot / tropical regions; the availability of water for rainfall is rather wet; the availability of water for the dry month is quite suitable; rooting media for good to rather good soil drainage; soil texture from clay to clay clay; effective depth in; nutrient retention for medium to high CEC; acidic soil pH to slightly acidic; nutrients available for P2O5 (P available) low; potential mechanism for slopes from flat, gentle, slightly gentle / steep, steep and very steep; outcrops of rock did not exist until a little. 2) The level of land suitability for clove plants in the Takapala watershed in the Jeneberang Upper Watershed obtained five land suitability sub-classes, namely S2, quite in accordance with an area of 93.95 Ha; S3 - W1 (class according to marginal with the heaviest limiting factor of rainfall) with 1022.33 Ha; S3 - S1 (suitable class marginal with the heaviest limiting factor) with an area of 510.66 Ha; S3 - W1s1 (class suitable marginal with the heaviest limiting factor of rainfall and slope) with an area of 256.49 Ha, and N1 - S1 (class not suitable for now with a very severe limiting factor is the slope) with an area of 222.64 Ha. 4) Land suitability distribution for clove plants in the Takapala watershed, Jeneberang Upper Watershed is divided into three classes. class S2 (quite suitable) with an area of about 93.95 Ha or 4.41% of the Takapala watershed area; S3 class (according to marginal) with an area of around 1789.48 or 84% of the Takapala watershed area; and class N1 (not suitable for now) with an area of around 222.64 Ha or 10.45% of the total area of the Takapala River Basin.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) karakteristik lahan di DAS Takapala Sub DAS Hulu Jeneberang Kabupaten Gowa, 2) Tingkat kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman cengkeh, 3) agihan kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman cengkeh di DAS Takapala Sub DAS Hulu Jeneberang Kabupaten Gowa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling dengan teknik analisis data yaitu teknik matching. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) karakteristik lahan di DAS Takapala Sub DAS Hulu Jeneberang yaitu berada pada daerah iklim agak basah; temperatur atau suhu udara berada pada daerah panas/tropis; ketersedian air untuk curah hujan agak basah; ketesedian air untuk bulan kering cukup sesuai; media perakaran untuk drainase tanah baik sampai agak baik; tekstur tanah dari liat sampai lempung berliat; kedalaman efektif dalam; retensi hara untuk KTK tanah sedang sampai tinggi; pH tanah asam hingga agak asam; hara tersedia untuk P2O5 (P tersedia) rendah; potensi mekanisme untuk lereng dari datar, landai, agak landai/miring, curam, dan sangat curam; singkapan batuan tidak ada sampai sedikit. 2) Tingkat kesesuian lahan untuk tanaman cengkeh di DAS Takapala Sub DAS Hulu Jeneberang diperoleh lima sub kelas kesesuaian lahan yaitu S2 cukup sesuai dengan luas 93,95 Ha; S3 - W1 (kelas sesuai marginal dengan faktor pembatas terberat curah hujan) dengan 1022,33 Ha; S3 - S1 (kelas sesuai marginal dengan faktor pembatas terberat lereng) dengan luas 510,66 Ha; S3 - W1s1 (kelas sesuai marginal dengan faktor pembatas terberat curah hujan dan lereng)  dengan luas 256,49 Ha, dan N1 - S1 (kelas tidak sesuai  untuk saat ini dengan faktor pembatas sangat berat adalah lereng) dengan luas 222,64 Ha. 4)Agihan kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman cengkeh di DAS Takapala Sub DAS Hulu Jeneberang terbagi menjadi tiga kelas. kelas S2 (cukup sesuai) dengan luas sekitar 93,95 Ha atau 4,41 % dari luas DAS Takapala; kelas S3 (sesuai marginal) dengan luas sekitar 1789,48 atau 84 % dari luas DAS Takapala; dan kelas N1 (tidak sesuai untuk saat ini) dengan luas sekitar 222,64 Ha atau 10,45% dari luas keseluruhan DAS Takapala.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are : (i) Describe the slum in Mariso Village of Mariso Sub-District in Makassar City, (ii) Analyze the activities of the people in slum area in Mariso Village of Mariso Sub-District in Makassar City, (iii) Analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of the people in slum area in Mariso Village of  Mariso Sub-District in Makassar City. The research employed descriptive approach systematically, factually, and accurately. The data were collected through interview and documentation study technique. The results of the research reveal taht is slum in the area based on the variables which are measured in the location of the research : (i) The description of slum in Mariso Village in RW 3 and RW 7 with the slum level is in medium category. It is because each of RW analyzed had the same slum variables, (ii) The people’s activities in Mariso Village are in the forms of voluntary works, accepting helps from central or local goverment, and several forms of social competition, (iii) The socioeconomic characteristics in Mariso Village are the education level of the heads of household are still low because most of them only graduated in Primary School level. It also gives great impact on the level of incomes of  the respondents where the incomes of the heads of households are approximately 250.000 to 500.000 IDR, thus, the fulfillment of their daily needs sometimes cannot be fulfilled, except for food only.

Abstract

 This study aims to describe the implementation of Project-Based Learning models in geography learning. The type of research is survey research. The subjects in this study were the teacher of geography, the deputy head of the curriculum, and the principal. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the form of Project-Based Learning implementation in learning geography with details: learning planning, learning implementation, and learning assessment. In learning planning is done by analyzing the contents of the 2013 curriculum content and learning design planning. Furthermore, the implementation of learning is done by determining the project, designing project completion steps, preparing project implementation schedules, completing projects, preparing reports, presenting project results, and evaluating project processes and results. Meanwhile, the assessment of learning is carried out on the aspect of attitude using observation techniques, self-assessment, and assessment between friends. Assessment of aspects of knowledge using written test techniques and assignments, as well as skills assessment using project results assessment techniques.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi  model Project-Based Learning pada pembelajaran geografi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran geografi, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk implementasi Project-Based Learning pada pembelajaran geografi dengan rincian: perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menganilisis standar isi kurikulum 2013 dan desain  pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penentuan proyek, perancangan langkah-langkah penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan jadwal pelaksanaan proyek, penyelesaian proyek, penyusunan laporan, presentasi hasil proyek, dan evaluasi proses serta hasil proyek. Sementara, penilaian pembelajaran dilakukan pada aspek sikap dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, penilaian diri, dan penilaian antar teman. Penilaian pada aspek pengetahuan dengan menggunakan teknik  tes tertulis dan penugasan, serta penilaian keterampilan dengan menggunakan teknik penilaian hasil proyek.

Abstract

This study aims : (1) To find out how the community activities that visit the Maros City Forest. (2) To find out the perception of the people who use the Maros City Forest . This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the object of research is the entire area of the City of Maros Forest while the sample is a visitor from the City of Maros Forest . Data collected through interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results obtained (1) Community activities that come to the city of Maros Forest most to exercise and visitors who almost every day come to sell food and drinks. (2) Community perceptions of the main functions of urban forests are quite good and community perceptions for additional functions of the Maros City Forest are also quite good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) What is the role of local governments in the development of facilities and infrastructure. 2) What are the government's obstacles in developing tourism objects. 3) How is the management of natural tourism objects on Camba-cambang Island. The informants in this study were the Pangkep Regency Tourism Office, tourism object managers, workers, and the community around the tourist attraction. Data collection is done by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that the development of facilities and infrastructure built by the government such as villas, gasebos, toilets, children's games, prayer rooms, places of sale, and infrastructure such as accessibility, generators, security infrastructure. 2) the obstacles experienced by the government in development are funds in the development of Camba Island tourism objects, the amount of which is uncertain, every year depending on regional income every year and plus the current covid-19 virus outbreak. 3) The management of the Camba-cambang Island tourist attraction is managed by the Pangkep Regency Tourism Office and its workforce, namely the people around Camba-cambang Island who come from Saugi Island who work in the Pangkep Regency government and are assigned as Camba-cambang Island workers.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Know what is the attraction of Apparalang Bulukumba Regency, (2) know the level of satisfaction of tourists towards the attractions of the Apparalang Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The research was conducted in Ara Village in the Bonto Bahari district of Bulukumba Regency. Data collection is done with observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed that: (1) The attraction of Apparalang attractions includes attractions or attractions, the second the accrebility, the third amenities or facilities, and the latter a supporting factor. (2) The satisfaction of tourists here is divided into 4 indicators of the first assessment of attraction or attractions namely about tourists about the beauty of the sea, the beauty of the cliffs and photo spots can be drawn conclusions in the attraction section or attractions of the respondents are very satisfied, the second accrebilities to the attraction Apparalang satisfied with the acrebility to Apparalang, the third facilities regarding the distribution of clean water and garbage disposal they are satisfied, regarding electricity they are quite satisfied and about the counter officers they are very satisfied, the parking lot of the respondents also feel very satisfied and the latter supporting factor can be inferred also feel very satisfied.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the salt business can affect the socio-economic conditions of salt farmers in Borimasunggu Village, Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency. The independent variable in this study is the salt business, while the dependent variable is the socio-economic condition. The population in this research is the people of Borimasunggu Village who work as salt farmers, while the sample is 22 people. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative type. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Guttman scale and the data analysis method used the product moment correlation test and simple regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) The significance value was 0.000. Therefore 0.000 <0.05, while for the pearson correlation value, 696 is a positive value with a strong relationship. (2) The coefficient of determination (R2) 0.484 indicates that the socioeconomic conditions of 48.4% are influenced by salt business. So it can be concluded that: (1) there is an effect of salt business on the socio-economic conditions of the residents of Borimasunggu Village, Labakkang District, Pangkep Regency, (2) the magnitude of the influence of business on socio-economic conditions is 48.4% and 51.2% is influenced by other factors.
