Abstract

Baju hijab chic memiliki desain yang modern dan sesuai dengan tren terkini dalam dunia fashion. Trend busana hijab chic style banyak digemari berbagai kalangan muslimah di Indonesia sehingga memiliki peluang pasar yang baik bagi masyarakat khususnya generasi millenial. Motif batik Cirebon Singabarong bergaya flat design  merupakan salah satu ragam hias kain hasil dari inovasi karya batik tradisional khas keraton Cirebon yang terdiri dari tiga motif yaitu motif Sinagbarong Raja, Singabarong Resi dan Singabrong Rama. Motif motif tersebut bisa diterapkan pada busana ready to wear duluxe hijab chic style sebagai upaya pelestarian budaya pada generasi muda Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menciptakan busana ready to wear duluxe hijab chic style inspirasi Motif batik Cirebon Singabarong bergaya flatdesign. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menghasilkan data yang bersifat deskriptif serta penciptaan karya seni melalui tahap eksplorasi, perancangan dan perwujudan. Metode tersebut digunakan agar dapat menghasilkan data yang bisa mendeskripsikan terkait motif Singabarong serta hasil karya desain alternatifnya. Luaran dari penelitian ini merupakan 6 karya busana.

Abstract

Natrium siklamat umumnya ditambahkan pada manisan buah mangga untuk memperbaiki cita rasa produk. Penggunaan natrium siklamat pada manisan mangga dicurigai tidak sesuai dengan kadar yang tercantum dalam Peraturan BPOM Nomor 11 Tahun 2019. Kondisi ini dapat menimbulkan efek yang berbahaya pada tubuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi, menghitung kadar dan mengevaluasi kadar natrium siklamat pada manisan mangga yang dijual di kota Pontianak. Identifikasi natrium siklamat dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui metode pengendapan dengan pereaksi HCl, BaCl2, dan NaNO2. Sedangkan, penentuan kadar natrium siklamat dalam sampel secara kuantitatif dilakukan dengan spektrofotometri UV pada panjang gelombang maksimum 313,4 nm. Hasil uji kualitatif menunjukkan 3 dari 5 sampel manisan mangga dengan kode A, B, dan E mengandung natrium siklamat. Sementara itu, hasil uji kuantitatif menunjukkan kadar sampel A sebesar 255,824 mg/kg, kadar sampel B sebesar 352,49 mg/kg, dan kadar sampel E sebesar 125,743 mg/kg. Hasil ini menunjukkan kadar natrium siklamat yang digunakan masih berada dibawah batas maksimal konsumsi yang tercantum dalam Peraturan BPOM Nomor 11 Tahun 2019 yaitu sebesar 500 mg/kg. Kata Kunci: Keamanan Pangan, Uji Kualitatif, Uji Kuantitatif, Bahan Tambahan Pangan, Metode Pengendapan Sodium cyclamate is generally added to candied mangoes to improve the taste of the product. It is suspected that the use of sodium cyclamate in candied mangoes does not comply with the levels stated in BPOM Regulation Number 11 of 2019. This condition can cause dangerous effects on the body. This research was conducted to identify, calculate levels and evaluate sodium cyclamate levels in mango sweets sold in the city of Pontianak. Sodium cyclamate identification was carried out qualitatively through the precipitation method with HCl, BaCl2 and NaNO2 reagents. Quantitative determination of sodium cyclamate levels in samples was carried out using UV spectrophotometry at a maximum wavelength of 313.4 nm. Qualitative test results showed that 3 out of 5 samples of mango sweets with codes A, B and E contained sodium cyclamate. Meanwhile, quantitative test results showed that sample A levels were 255.824 mg/kg, sample B levels were 352.49 mg/kg, and sample E levels were 125.743 mg/kg. These results show that the levels of sodium cyclamate used are still below the maximum consumption limit stated in BPOM Regulation Number 11 of 2019, namely 500 mg/kg.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) sebagai upaya pencegahan penyakit menular di SMP Muhammadiyah Sampang. Rendahnya kesadaran akan pentingnya kebersihan diri di kalangan remaja dapat meningkatkan risiko terkena penyakit menular. Oleh karena itu, edukasi menjadi langkah awal yang penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya PHBS, khususnya mencuci tangan dengan benar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik langsung cuci tangan yang diikuti oleh 107 siswa. Edukasi dilaksanakan pada tanggal 6 Juni 2024 di aula sekolah dengan bantuan guru dan melibatkan dosen serta mahasiswa keperawatan sebagai fasilitator. Kegiatan diawali dengan pre-test untuk mengukur pengetahuan awal siswa, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi dan praktik cuci tangan, serta diakhiri dengan post-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa program edukasi berjalan lancar dengan partisipasi aktif dari para siswa, terbukti dari banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan. Terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam rata-rata nilai post-test dibandingkan pre-test, yang mengindikasikan peningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang PHBS. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu edukasi PHBS efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya kebersihan diri, sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu mencegah penyebaran penyakit menular di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease caused by a virus by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. West Kalimantan is experiencing an increasing trend in dengue cases, with data of 4,304 incident cases and 48 deaths, most recently in the 43rd week of October 2023, so handling activities are needed to reduce the number of dengue cases. Kuliah Kerja Nyata is an action-based community service program currently being implemented at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16, Banjar Serasan Village, East Pontianak District, Pontianak City. This text aims to increase knowledge and insight about dengue fever and ethnomedicine among students and teaching staff, increase awareness, look for alternative prevention methods, and be aware of the importance of preventing dengue fever. The method is implemented in the form of outreach, education, and demonstration. An evaluation was carried out to determine the participant's level of understanding through pretest, post-test, and questionnaires. The results obtained were that there was an increase in students' understanding of dengue fever based on an increase of 13.29% from pretest to post-test scores, and 59.61% of respondents stated that the activities had a positive impact on respondents.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Surgical procedures are inseparable from anesthesia, one of the anesthetic procedures is spinal anesthesia. Spinal anesthesia is the most common regional technique performed by most anesthesiologists worldwide. Spinal anesthesia is injecting local analgesic drugs into the subarachnoid space in the area between the lumbar vertebrae L2-L3 or L3 L4 or L4-L5. This study aims to determine the relationship between the duration of surgery and the occurrence of Post Anesthetic Shivering and urinary retention in patients after spinal anesthesia in the recovery room of RSU Aisyiyah Padang. Method: This research method is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used no random sampling with a total sampling of 30 respondents. Data was taken using demographic data for gender and age data. Results: Respondents with the most dominant age category were adults aged 26-45 years, namely 17 respondents (56.7%). Respondents with a more dominant Gender category, namely Women, were 18 respondents (60.0%). In the category of length of surgery, namely more than >1-2 hours, namely 20 respondents (66.7). Based on the category of shivering frequency, the most dominant one is not shivering, as many as 16 people (53.3). The incidence of urine retention, most respondents did not experience urine retention, as many as 27 respondents or (90.0). Conclusion: There is no relationship between the length of surgery and the incidence of post-anesthetic shivering (pas) and urine retention and the direction of the relationship is positive.

Abstract

Matriculation is a series of activities to welcome new students and institutional service for new students whereas they are accepted not only from alumni of Tanjungpura University with diverse backgrounds, especially academic and social abilities. This activity is needed to uniform and to harmonize academic skills and support students readiness in Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program at University of Tanjungpura, so the students are expected to pass the educational process and to pass the competency test. In addition, to refresh and to increase the knowledge and understanding of new students when they attend lectures, providing to new students already have a basic concept of knowledge that will be studied in pharmacist professional education. The method used was one group pretest-posttest design. The results of the activity showed that matriculation can increase and affect the value of student learning outcomes significantly with the pretest average score indicator at 46.35933 (scale 0 until 100) to 65.89633 (scale 0 until 100) of post-test average score. The results of filling out the questionnaire indicated that this activity was considered very useful and hoped that the activity would be continuing.

Abstract

Borax is a chemical used in making detergent and insect repellent. However, there is still a lot of use of borax as an additional ingredient in food with the aim of preservative and improving texture, if borax enters the human body it can cause toxic effects. This research aims to identify and measure borax levels in meatballs and wet noodles sold at the Traditional Market. Identification of borax is carried out using qualitative methods, namely organoleptic tests, numeric paper, and flame, while quantitative determination of borax levels can be done using the visible spectrophotometric method. The analytical method validation parameters carried out are linearity, LOD, LOQ, accuracy, and precision. In this study, the maximum wavelength obtained was 546.8 nm and incubation was 35 minutes. It was identified that 8 samples of wet noodles sold at the Traditional Market contained borax at levels of 9,458.04 - 26,279.46 mg/kg. These results show that the use of borax in food is still occurring and violates the regulations set by BPOM regulations. Namun, masih banyak penyalahgunaan boraks sebagai bahan tambahan pada makanan bertujuan sebagai pengawet dan memperbaiki tekstur. Jika boraks masuk ke dalam tubuh manusia dapat menimbulkan efek toksik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengukur kadar boraks pada bakso dan mie basah yang dijual di Pasar Tradisional. Identifikasi boraks dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif yaitu uji organoleptik, kertas tumerik, dan nyala api, sedangkan penentuan kadar boraks secara kuantitatif dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri visibel. Parameter validasi metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah linieritas, LOD, LOQ, akurasi, dan presisi. Pada penelitian ini, panjang gelombang maksimum yang diperoleh adalah 546,8 nm dan inkubasi 35 menit. Teridentifikasi 8 sampel mie basah yang dijual di Pasar Tradisional mengandung boraks dengan kadar yaitu 9.458,04-26.279,46 mg/kg. Hasil ini menunjukkan masih terjadi penggunaan boraks pada makanan dan melanggar peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh peraturan BPOM. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of job training variables on the quality of service to the community at the BPJS Health Langsa Branch Office. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. The research technique used distributing questionnaires (Likert scale questionnaires) to 46 research respondents. The research results show that: 1) Digital media has a negative and insignificant effect on the quality of service to the community at the BPJS Health Langsa Branch office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount < ttable, namely - 1,730 < 1.680 with a significance of 0.091 > 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H₀ was accepted and H1 was rejected. This means that there is no influence between digital media on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. 2) Career development has a positive and significant effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount > ttable, namely 19,697 > 1.680 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H0 was rejected and H2 was accepted. This means that there is an influence between development on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office, 3) Job training has a positive and significant effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research are based on the coefficient value tcount < ttable, namely 4,355 > 1.680 with a significance of 0.000 > 0.05. It was concluded that the research hypothesis H0 was rejected and H3 was accepted. This means that there is an influence between job training on the quality of service at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. 4) Digital media, career development and job training simultaneously or together have a positive effect on the quality of service to the community at the Langsa Branch BPJS Health Office. The results of this research can be seen from Digital Media (X1), Career Development (X2), Job Training (X3) with a significant value of α 0.000 < 0.05 and a value of Fcount > Ftable (972,032 > 3.21). Based on the ANOVA table, the significance level used is 0.05. Thus, the decision is obtained that H0 is rejected and H4 is accepted. Therefore, this research is suitable to be used because the independent variable has a positive effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

Preserving dental and oral hygiene is essential to maintain the overall function of the oral cavity. Essential oil extracted from Pontianak orange peel shows potential as a safe and effective component for oral healthcare when incorporated into a mouthwash formulation. This research was conducted to evaluate the potential of Pontianak orange peel essential oil as an antibacterial mouthwash effective against Streptococcus mutans. The study was conducted by formulating mouthwash preparations using different concentrations of Pontianak orange peel essential oil: 3%, 4%, and 5%, followed by evaluation of physical properties including organoleptic characteristics, homogenity, pH level, sedimentation, specific gravity, and viscosity. The antibacterial properties were tested using  the disc diffusion method.The physical evaluation results showed that the mouthwash had a sweet taste, green color, a citrus peel aroma with a hint of mint; it was homogeneous, with no sedimentation; had a pH value ranging from 5.13 ± 0.02 to 5.25 ± 0.02; specific gravity ranging from 0.9968 ± 0.06 to 1.0424 ± 0.00 g/ml; and viscosity ranging from 1.717 ± 0.02 to 1.920 ± 0.01mPa.s. All formulations met the physical property requirements of a good mouthwash to ensure comfort during use. The largest inhibition zone was observed at the highest essential oil concentration (5%), with a diameter of 8.04 ± 1.05 mm, which falls under the category of moderate antibacterial activity. This study indicates that a mouthwash containing 5% Pontianak orange peel essential oil is effective in inhibiting the growth of Streptococcus mutans.

Abstract

Falls are a health problem that is often experienced by the elderly. One of the risk factors for falls is the use of drugs such as benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are categorized as high-risk drugs (MFRS score = 3) because they have psychomotor, sedative and muscle relaxation effects. To examine the benzodiazepine class of drugs used by elderly patients by paying attention to action and drug dosage based on the 2022 Benzodiazepine and Z-Drug Safety Guideline. The aim of this study is to describe the percentage of elderly people who use short-acting and long-acting benzodiazepines and evaluate the dosage of benzodiazepine drugs used in accordance with guidelines. This research method uses an observational study type with a descriptive cross-sectional study design. Data collection is retrospective with manual medical record data. The results of the study showed that the percentage of benzodiazepine drug use was 83% of geriatric patients using alprazolam, clobazam 5%, clonazepam 3%, diazepam 3%, midazolam 3%, and a combination of alprazolam and diazepam therapy 3%. The most commonly prescribed drug class was short-acting benzodiazepines compared to long-acting benzodiazepines. The conclusion is that the use of short-acting and long-acting benzodiazepines can be a risk factor for falls in geriatrics. The risk of geriatric falls will increase if benzodiazepines are used in combination with other drugs such as FRM drugs. In this research, the benzodiazepine drug that is widely prescribed is alprazolam.
