Abstract

UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah, termasuk di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi. Salah satu aspek penting untuk meningkatkan daya saing produk UMKM adalah sertifikasi halal. Sertifikasi halal merupakan salah satu instrumen penting dalam menjamin kehalalan dan keamanan produk, khususnya bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang bergerak di bidang pangan, kosmetik, dan obat-obatan. Namun, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang belum memahami prosedur, manfaat, serta urgensi sertifikasi halal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Paal Merah Kota Jambi tentang prosedur pengajuan sertifikasi halal, regulasi yang berlaku, serta manfaat ekonomi dan sosial yang diperoleh. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi interaktif melalui presentasi, diskusi, dan simulasi pendaftaran sertifikasi halal berbasis online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 78% berdasarkan pre-test dan post-test, serta adanya komitmen dari sebagian peserta untuk segera mengurus sertifikasi halal. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong terciptanya ekosistem usaha yang berdaya saing dan sesuai prinsip syariah.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss Ibn Sina's thought in harmonizing religion, philosophy, divinity, soul, and Islamic education. As a leading Muslim philosopher, Ibn Sina successfully integrated rationalism and spirituality, especially in the concept of divinity that he designed through the theory of emanation. He also developed a theory of the soul rooted in Aristotelian-Neoplatonic thought, in which the human soul is seen as having different levels in achieving perfection. In the Islamic education system, Ibn Sina emphasized the importance of students' intellectual and moral development and the role of teachers in guiding them towards the perfection of the soul. According to him, education is not only limited to the transfer of knowledge, but also a process of character building and the refinement of human potential. This research uses a literature research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach, namely by reviewing various relevant literature to understand more deeply the thoughts of Ibn Sina. The results showed that the concepts developed by Ibn Sina are still relevant in the world of education and contemporary Islamic philosophy. His thinking provides a balanced perspective between intellect and spirituality, which can be the basis for the development of a more comprehensive and holistic Islamic education.

Abstract

Teras philosophy, known as Stoicism, is one of the ancient Greek philosophical schools that emphasizes wisdom, self-control, and acceptance of the reality of life. In modern life full of challenges and uncertainties, the principles of Stoicism offer practical guidance to achieve inner peace and mental resilience. This article aims to examine the basic concepts of Stoicism and their relevance in dealing with the dynamics of life today, and relate them to Islamic education. Stoicism teaches the importance of distinguishing between things we can control and those we cannot, and focuses on developing virtues as the core of a meaningful life. In the context of Islamic education, Stoicism's values of wisdom, patience, and self-control can be integrated to strengthen students' character, morals, and spiritual resilience. This research uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach by reviewing literature from various sources, including Stoic texts and Islamic literature, to analyze the similarity of their basic principles. Thus, this article not only provides insights into the application of Stoicism in daily life, but also proposes the potential integration of Stoic values in Islamic education to form individuals who are wiser and more resilient to the pressures of life.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Kumpeh Subdistrict, Muaro Jambi Regency. The study was conducted using a survey method and sampling was carried out on the sample farmer groups. The research objective is to determine the income and the contribution of red chilli farming to the income of farmers. The results of the study found that the average income of red chilli farming in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District was Rp. 40,353,243 per hectare with an average cost of farming a red chili pepper Rp.18,412,535 per hectare. There are five business patterns in the red chilli farm that is cultivated by sample farmers in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District. The average income of red chilli farming for each business pattern is that in business pattern I is Rp. 5,441,957 per month, in business pattern II is Rp. 5,646,574 per month, in business pattern III is Rp. 5,904,642 per month, in business pattern IV is Rp. 6,542,844 per month, and in business pattern V of Rp 3,993,654 per month. While the contribution of red chilli farming income to the lowest income of farmers is in business pattern I, namely red chilli farming and oil palm farming. The contribution of red chilli farming income to farmers' income during the red chilli planting season is in business pattern I of 45.2%, in pattern II of 72.8%, in business pattern III of 71.7%, in business pattern IV of 70, 8%, and the business pattern V is 69.9%. This shows that the red chili farming contributes greatly to the income of farmers in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the means of deriving enjoyment in life during the post-Truth era by drawing upon the existentialist values of Soren Kierkegaard. A qualitative approach is adopted with a conceptual design, utilizing exploratory, interpretative, and analytical methods. The results showed that individuals were able to derive enjoyment from life during the Post-Truth Era by embracing the following Soren Kierkegaard's existentialism values: Firstly, being oneself; living under the narrative of the heart and mind. Secondly, being moral and adhering to universal rules. Thirdly, living a religious life, having a direct connection with God, and being critical of religion. Previous studies had extensively explored Soren Kierkegaard's existentialism, but none specifically examined its concept as a means of enjoying life.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rekonstruksi kegiatan al-Islam dan Muhammadiyah berbasis nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam inklusif di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam pembelajaran Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Pendidikan AIK dilaksanakan dengan dua model. Pertama, AIK merupakan kegiatan kurikuler yaitu sebagai mata kuliah. Kedua, AIK merupakan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang diikuti oleh seluruh pemangku kepentingan di UM Sumatera Barat. (2) AIK Education senantiasa berupaya menjadi solusi terbaik bagi civitas UM Sumbar dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang mengatasnamakan kelompok tertentu. Internalisasi nilai-nilai multikulturalisme dalam setiap materi/kegiatan AIK baik dalam bentuk mata kuliah maupun kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. (3) Implementasi konsep inklusif dalam kegiatan AIK di UM Sumatera Barat dapat dilihat pada beberapa refleksi, a) Tercermin pada kurikulum pembelajaran yang digunakan lembaga studi AIK. b) Tercermin pada sikap dosen dan pegawai dalam melayani mahasiswa. c) Tercermin dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan akademik yang melibatkan seluruh pemangku kepentingan termasuk mahasiswa dari berbagai kalangan.

Abstract

Kierkegaard's philosophy highlights the importance of subjectivity and individual responsibility in facing a life full of decisions. His concept of existential decision-making stresses conscious choices that reflect awareness and accountability. emphasizing the uniqueness of individuals and the pursuit of life's meaning. This philosophical perspective underscores the critical role of self-awareness, self-development, and personal responsibility in leading a meaningful life. Kierkegaard believes that humans must become authentic selves, which continue without stopping. This is a struggle that must be carried out at all times, so that humans can become the subjects of their lives. Becoming an authentic self is a task that must be held accountable, and individuals have the possibility to realize the enjoyment of life. In Kierkegaard's thought, life is natural and sometimes has a greater sense of significance than life that is not natural. The natural way of life for humans is the way of enjoying life described by Kierkegaard.

Abstract

Kepala sekolah memiliki tanggungjawab terhadap berbagai arah pengembangan yang diharapkan di sekolah tanpa terkecuali moderasi beragama peserta didik. Moderasi beragama di madrasah dibutuhkan untuk menciptakan suasana kenyamanan bagi warga madrasah dalam menjalankan agamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh peranan kepala madrasah dan strategi guru terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex post facto. Penelitian ini menganalisis tiga variabel dengan variabel bebas sebanyak dua buah dan variabel terikatnya satu. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh warga MTs Negeri 2 Kota Sawahluto, sedangkan sampel terdiri dari 10 orang guru dan 30 orang siswa dari tingkatan kelas yang berbeda-beda. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan form observasi lingkungan madrasah dan angket yaitu angket peranan kepala madrasah, strategi guru dan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis data deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Pada analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dan uji korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa peranan kepala madrasah dan strategi guru berpengaruh terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Pengaruh peran kepala madrasah terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Sawahlunto mempunyai nilai product moment sebesar 0,008 dengan tingkat korelasi sebesar 0,885 yang menunjukkan korelasi yang sangat tinggi. Pengaruh strategi guru terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Sawahlunto mempunyai nilai product moment sebesar 0,025 dengan tingkat korelasi sebesar 0,741 yang menunjukkan korelasi yang tinggi. Selain itu, peran kepala madrasah dan strategi guru sama-sama memberikan pengaruh terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Sawahlunto. Pengaruh ini diperlihatkan dari hasil uji ganda dengan nilai sebesar 0,032 0,05 yang menunjukkan hubungan antara variabel simultan dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,762 yang berarti hubungan antar variabel kuat.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah, khususnya sampah plastik dari makanan dan minuman kemasan, menjadi ancaman serius bagi ekosistem laut sekaligus mengurangi daya tarik destinasi wisata. Pantai Lhok Raja, Nagan Raya, merupakan salah satu kawasan wisata yang berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi ekowisata, namun menghadapi persoalan kebersihan akibat rendahnya kesadaran pengunjung dan terbatasnya sarana pengelolaan sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan mendukung ekowisata berkelanjutan melalui Program Bersih Pantai. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada September 2025 dengan melibatkan mahasiswa Prodi Ilmu Kelautan Universitas Teuku Umar dan masyarakat setempat. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi tentang bahaya sampah, aksi bersih pantai, pemasangan spanduk larangan membuang sampah, serta penyediaan tong sampah di lokasi strategis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan berkurangnya volume sampah di kawasan pantai, meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang dampak sampah plastik, tersedianya sarana pendukung kebersihan, serta tumbuhnya kolaborasi multipihak dalam menjaga lingkungan pesisir. Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap peningkatan kualitas lingkungan sekaligus memperkuat potensi ekowisata berkelanjutan di Nagan Raya

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in implementing mathematics instruction oriented toward the development of students’ critical thinking skills through training on the RHOMI (Realistic and Holistic Mathematics Integration) model. The program was conducted at SMPN 8 Kota Sungai Penuh using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, positioning teachers as active participants throughout all stages of the program, including planning, action, observation, and reflection. The PAR approach was selected to ensure that the training was participatory, contextual, and sustainable, in line with teachers’ actual classroom needs. The results indicated an improvement in teachers’ understanding of realistic and holistic mathematics learning, as well as a shift in instructional practices from procedural teaching toward more dialogical, reflective, and critical-thinking-oriented learning. Teachers were able to design RHOMI-based instructional materials that integrated real-life contexts with mathematical concepts in a coherent manner. Furthermore, the program fostered collaboration and reflective practices among teachers. Therefore, the PAR-based RHOMI training proved to be an effective community service strategy for improving the quality of mathematics instruction and enhancing students’ critical thinking skills
