Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine whether there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes given cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with students given conventional learning on the redox reaction material, the effect of cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) ) in improving student learning outcomes and student responses to cooperative learning models of the Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type on redox reaction material. The form of research used was a quasi-experimental research design "Control Group Pre-test Post-test". Sampling used purposive sampling technique, and students of class XA were selected as experiment classes while XE as a control class. The data collection tools used in this study are student learning outcomes and student response questionnaires. The results of hypothesis testing used the Mann Whitney U-test with α of 5% obtained Z count (-5,11) ≤ -Z table (-1,96). This means that there was a significant difference between the learning outcomes of the control class students who were taught using the conventional method and the experimental class taught using a cooperative model of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. Furthermore, based on the value of the Effect Size of 1.65 showed that cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division has a high influence in improved the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA 1 Sungai Raya. Keywords: Students Teams Achievement Division, learning outcomes, student responses

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan IF-AT pada materi redoks terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK SMTI Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI E sebagai kelas kontrol yang diperoleh dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat pengumpul data adalah tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil olahan data, rata-rata nilai skor posttest kelas kontrol yaitu 47,06 dan rata-rata nilai skor posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 60,91. Dengan menggunakan Uji U-Mann Whitney, diperoleh Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 (kurang dari 0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak, menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada materi redoks. Hasil dari perhitungan Effect Size (ES) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,75 yang menunjukkan penggunaan IF-AT memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,34% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: IF-AT, redoks, hasil belajar   Abstract: This research aimes to know the effect ofIF-AT on redox material of learing outcomes in SMK SMTI Pontianak students. This research method was quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The study sample were the students of  XI F as experimental class and XI E as control class that was determined by saturated sampling technique. Collecting data by using achievment test. Based on the results of data processing, the average score of posttest control class is 47.06, and the average score of posttest experimental classesis 60.91. By using the U-Mann Whitney test, obtained Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05 so Ho is rejected, which shows there is a differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class students onredox material.The results of the calculation of Effect Size (ES) obtained value of 0.75 that showed IF-AT provided the effect of 27.34% on improving student learning outcomes.   Keywords: IF-AT, redox, learning outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study were unsatisfying achievement of students and boring method. The purposes of this study were to determine whether there was a significant difference of achievement of students  taught using pictorial card assisted cooperative learning model and cooperatif learning model, to determine effect size of  pictorial card assisted cooperatif learning model. The form of this study was quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. From three of XI classes of SMAN 9 Pontianak, two sample were selected. According to cluster random sampling technique XI MIA 2 was selected as experimental class and XI MIA 1 was selected as control class. Achievment test, instrument quideline, and observation sheet were used to collect data. According to U-Mann Whitney test, probability of significant value was 0,006 which meant there was a significant difference of concept understanding between students who taught using pictorial card assisted cooperative learning model and cooperative learning model. According to calculation using glass formula, the effect size of pictorial card assisted cooperative learning model towards concept understanding was 0,71 which categorized as medium..Keywords: Cooperative, Pictorial Card, Concept Understanding

Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to describe the ability of high school students in solving HOTS questionstchemistrybasic law. This research use descriptive qualitative method, with the subjects of class XI students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak, SMANegeri 6 Pontianak, SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak, SMA Negeri 2 Kubu Raya, totaling 127 students. The instrument used in the form of HOTS questions with the cognitive level of analyzing (C4) and evaluating (C5). The validation results show that the instrument used has a very good level of validity with an average percentage of small scale of 95.41% with a very high category and an average percentage of large scale of 93.75% with a very high category. The reults showed that the percentage of students ability insolving HOTS questions is 19,9%.Keyword: Basic Laws of Chemistry, Description, HOTS

Abstract

The availability of standard integrated diagnostic assessment tools for measuring students' learning interests with technology for the Entikong border area is not yet available, so an instrument is needed to help educators measure students' initial assessments. This study aimed to analyze non-cognitive diagnostic assessments of website-based learning interests. The Research and Development (R&D) method was used in this study, with three stages of activity, namely Need Analysis & Design, Development, and Evaluation. The subjects of validation were 10 assessment experts and five website graphic experts. A limited trial for practicality testing was carried out during the Evaluation stage. The instruments used were interview guidelines, validity questionnaires, and response questionnaires for practicality testing. Data analysis was quantitative and qualitative, using the Lawshe formula to measure validity. The results showed that the assessment developed had an average CVR value of 0.99 and 1 with a valid category and a practicality test of 93.75% with a convenient category. This study concludes that the non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instrument for website-based learning interests developed meets the requirements for validity and practicality. This research implies that educators can use the website-based non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instrument as a reference in designing learning according to student needs based on the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Elective subject is the flagship program of Merdeka Curriculum..The elective subject program is based on students’ interest, talents, and aspirations. Therefore, students’ interest level in chemistry, as one of the options for elective subject program is a necessary to determined. This study aims to determine the level of student interest in choosing chemistry as an elective subject, so that teachers could find the best alternatives to increase students’ interest. The research was conducted with quantitative analysis methods and descriptive statistical approaches, using 139 students of grade 11th who have chosen chemistry as the elective subject. The level of students’ interest in chemistry is measured by students’ interest questionnaire. The questionnaire was adopted and developed by aspects of students’ interest: teachers’ role, students’ perception, students’ intrinsic motivation in learning, and meaningful learning of lesson. Content validation test using Aiken formula showed the questionnaire validity is very high, as value 1. Based on the analysis, the result stated that the level of students’ interest was included as high category with 76,11%. All aspects are categorized as high, aspects of the teacher's role in learning with 77.44%, students’ perceptions with 73.63%, students’ intrinsic motivation 78.99% and the meaningfulness of learning lesson with 74.37%.

Abstract

The implementation of formative assessment in chemistry learning remains suboptimal, as many teachers still rely on conventional methods and rarely utilize innovative digital media such as educational games. This study aims to determine the level of validity and response from chemistry teachers and students to formative assessment media based on wordwall games on the material of the development of atomic theory. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages but this research only reaches the development stage. The data collection techniques used are direct communication techniques with interviews and indirect communication by providing media validation sheets and questions and response questionnaires for chemistry teachers and students. The results of validation by experts on the question aspect obtained a percentage of 91.67% and on the media aspect of 95%, both of these aspects fall into the category of very feasible. The average percentage of chemistry teachers' response to formative assessment media based on wordwall games on the material of the development of atomic theory is 88.3%. While the average response of students to the product obtained a percentage of 82.67% with a very attractive category. Based on the results of validation and response tests, it can be concluded that the wordwall games-based formative assessment product on the material of the development of atomic theory is feasible to use in supporting the implementation of formative assessmentsinlearning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the digital literacy level of Pre-Service PPG students of the PGSD Study Program Wave 1 of 2024. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a sample of 25% of students and data obtained from a questionnaire containing 26 statements about 8 components of digital literacy. The results of the study show an overall digital literacy level of 82.11% (good category), with 23.33% of students being very good, 73.33% being good, and 3.33% being sufficient. By component, the percentages include: Functional Skill and Beyond (81.94%), Creativity (77.16%), Collaboration (82.77%), Communication (85.83%), The Ability to Find and Select Information (88.05%), Critical Thinking and Evaluation (76.11%), Cultural and Social Understanding (85%), and E-Safety (84.44%). All components are in the good category.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the validity of a local-issue-based coconut shell briquette e-supplement developed for an environmental chemistry course, as well as to evaluate student responses to the material. Utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model and a descriptive quantitative approach, the study measured both expert evaluations and learner perceptions. The e-supplement was reviewed by two content experts, two linguistic experts, and two media experts, and was tested by ten students enrolled in the Chemistry Education program at FKIP UNTAN. Data were collected through a combination of direct and indirect communication techniques, along with measurement instruments including validity assessment sheets and response questionnaires. The findings revealed that the e-supplement achieved a validity score of 81.25% in material quality, 87.50% in linguistic clarity, and 94.44% in media presentation. Additionally, student responses indicated a high level of approval, with a 91.5% positive rating. Based on these results, the e-supplement is considered suitable for implementation in environmental chemistry education, and it shows promising potential to support contextual learning and contribute to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Abstract

Perilaku perundungan (bullying) merupakan salah satu permasalahan serius yang kerap terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, termasuk pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Fenomena ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan mental dan emosional peserta didik, tetapi juga dapat menghambat proses pembelajaran serta perkembangan sosial anak secara menyeluruh. Sekolah Ramah Anak merupakan inisiatif yang digagas oleh Kementerian PPPA bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) yang bertujuan menjamin pemenuhan hak dan perlindungan anak selama berada di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan materi penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Metode yang digunakan meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi internal antara tim PkM dengan guru-guru sekolah dasar di Kota Pontianak yang akan terlibat, meliputi tanggal pelaksanaan, lokasi pelaksanaan dan sebagainya; persiapan materi oleh tim PkM, pembuatan modul dan hand out oleh tim PkM dan lain sebagainya, tahap pelaksanaan yaitu workshop penanganan dan pencegahan perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah dasar untuk mewujudkan sekolah ramah anak. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan meminta peserta kegiatan untuk mengisi kuesioner melalui pemindaian QR code. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta terhadap penanganan dan pencegahan perundungan di sekolah dasar.
