This study aims to determine how well the use of information technology-based learning media. The development of information technology is utilized in all aspects of human life, including education. The learning media that will befocused on being developed is Power Point. Power Point is one of the learning media that is already familiar among educators and students, because of its easy and effective use. The method used in this study is a development method based on the ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate) proposed by Dick and Carey, namely research and development carried out in several stages: 1) Analyzing the needs of educators and students 2) Product design, 3) Product development, 4) Product implementation, and 5) Product evaluation. Based on the stages carried out obtained learning media products that are considered feasible and are needed by students after validating and testing the product. The validation of media experts obtained 92%, and material 99%. Meanwhile, based on user ratings obtained by 86%.

This study aimed to develop the web-based e-learning model for the Arabic language material in the Islamic Middle School 25 Jakarta. This research used the R&D method in the term of the Dick and Carrie model. The result of this study is reflected from the materials expert's approval of the e-learning model for the Arabic course based on the web is 80%. This result indicates a very good evaluation of the test on the students. The result of the media expert's approval of the e-learning model for the Arabic language course based on the web is 95%. This result indicates a very good evaluation of the test on the student. E-learning is considered a new method of learning that focuses strongly on information centers and has become an important part of the field of academic universities added to the situation of our country that is currently exposed to the COVID-19 viruses, the role of Internet-based learning as support for the learning process becomes very important.

This study aims to find ways or strategies that can be used to get much more accurate Google Translate translation results, especially translations from Indonesian to English. This study uses qualitative research methods because it is carried out to provide an explanation of a phenomenon which will later build a theory related to this phenomenon. This study can be categorized as an experimental research study; because it uses two research objects and then compares the results. The two objects are Chapter 1 of the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata which was directly translated using Google Translate and Chapter 1 of the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata which underwent adjustments (in the form of strategy implementation) before being translated using Google Translate. These two translations were then compared to see which version was most similar to the translation of professional translator Angie Killbane who had translated the novel into English. This study only focuses on the similarity of Google Translate translation results for texts that have not undergone adjustments and Google Translate translation results for texts that have undergone adjustments with the translation results of professional translators. The results of this study found that text translations that underwent adjustments were more similar to the results of translations by professional translators. The adjustment in question is to clarify the meaning of the sentence by adding time information and adapting the language so that Google Translate can understand the meaning of the sentence correctly so that it can produce a translation that is much more accurate, acceptable and reasonable, in accordance with translation rules.

This community service aims to promote the use of turmeric tamarind as a raw material in making delicious and nutritious jam. Through training and mentoring to local communities, we teach simple and economical techniques of making turmeric tamarind jam followed by free health checks. The result of this service is an increase in community knowledge about the benefits of turmeric tamarind as well as diversification of local products that can increase their income. In addition, this initiative also contributes to the preservation of traditional culinary heritage and local economic empowerment. Based on the results, it can be concluded that after participating in this product preparation activity, participants felt an increase in knowledge and skills in making tamarind turmeric jam properly and could provide ideas, especially to the Dasawisma member mothers who had attended to make/process tamarind turmeric jam products as a new product in increasing MSMEs in the community. And the results of the health checks carried out show that the residents of Lempake Village have a high number of people with hypertension. The results of this activity showed that the participants were very enthusiastic in the activity because many considered the tamarind turmeric jam product as a new and unique innovative product and there was an increase in understandingin the participants. The assessment of these activities is very useful to determine the health condition of RT 08 residents of Lempake village, so that it is expected to improve the health status of the local community. ABSTRAK: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan penggunaan kunyit asam sebagai bahan baku dalam pembuatan selai yang lezat dan bergizi. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat lokal, kami mengajarkan teknik pembuatan selai kunyit asem yang sederhana dan ekonomis dilanjutkan dengan pengecekan Kesehatan gratis. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang manfaat kunyit asem serta diversifikasi produk lokal yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan mereka. Selain itu, inisiatif ini juga berkontribusi pada pelestarian warisan kuliner tradisional dan pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembuatan olahan produk ini partisipan merasakan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan olahan selai kunyit asem dengan benar dan dapat memberikan ide khususnya kepada ibu-ibu anggota Dasawisma yang telah hadir untuk membuat/mengolah produk selai kunyit asam sebagai produk baru dalam peningkatan UMKM di masyarakat. Dan hasil dari pengecekan kesehatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa warga masyarakat Kelurahan Lempake memiliki angka penderita Hipertensi yang tinggi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan para partisipan terlihat sangat antusias dalam kegiatan tersebut karenabanyak yang menilai produk selai kunyit asem adalah produk inovatif yang baru dan unik serta adanya peningkatan pemahaman pada para partisipan. Penilaian dari kegiatan tersebut sangat bermanfaat guna mengetahui kondisi kesehatan warga RT 08 kelurahan Lempake, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat setempat.

As online learning continues to be implemented post-pandemic, the use of video conferencing applications in higher education remains high. Some research shows that video conferencing, such as Zoom and Google Meet, has a positive impact on the online learning process. However, video conferences can only partially bring the natural atmosphere into the virtual classroom. As one of the video conferencing platforms, Gather Town offers new features that can create a virtual classroom atmosphere like a real class. This study aims to describe online lecture activities using Gather Town and students' perceptions of the application. The results show that Gather Town is easy to use and offers a new atmosphere in online learning. The results of student perceptions also show that Gather Town is easy to use, can inspire motivation and interest in education, is applicable, stimulates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and is consistent with real-world contexts and student characteristics.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertema: “Peningkatan Kompetensi Bahasa Arab Guru RA Maria Ulfah Melalui Pendekatan Gamifikasi Berbasis Genially". Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk 1) meningkatkan kompetensi guru RA Maris Ulfah dalam membaca bahasa arab melalui media pembelajaran genially yang efektif dan menarik. 2) Memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis pendekatan Gamifikasi menggunakan genially untuk materi membaca bahasa arab. Dengan mempertimbangkan dan memahami pentingnya kompetensi guru dalam membaca bahasa arab serta keterampilan penggunaan media pembelajaran genially untuk guru dalam proses mengajar. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas adalah dengan pelatihan membaca bahasa arab untuk guru dengan media pembelajaran menggunakan genially yang efektif, interaktif, dan menarik dengan pendekatan gamifikasi. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan pendidikan yang meliputi seminar penyampaian materi dan workshop disertai dialog interaktif. Selain itu, juga diberikan materi-materi tentang konsep dan teknik membaca bahasa arab dengan baik melalui gamifikasi serta teknik pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif yaitu game atau permainan berdasarkan pendekatan Gamifikasi. Selama mengikuti pelatihan, peserta diberikan materi dan diberikan pendampingan dalam pembuatan permainan edukatif tentang materi Membaca bahasa arab. Khalayak sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah para guru RA Maria Ulfah, kegiatan dibuat dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendidikan yang akan dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta terhadap para guru RA Maria Ulfah. Dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru dan mahasiswa menunjukkan antusiasme dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif, terdapat peningkatan wawasan dalam mengimplementasikan media berbasis gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan membaca Bahasa Arab, kesadaran menyikapi perkembangan teknologi informasi di era industri 4.0 di kalangan mahasiswa semakin meningkat, terbentuknya pemahaman membaca Bahasa Arab melalui media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis gamifikasi, serta terjalinnya silaturahmi dan komunikasi yang baik antara guru dan mahasiswa.

This research aims to obtain a clear description of the kinds of human values and nationalism contained in Ibrahim Tuqan's poetry. This research uses a descriptive method through content analysis. This research is focused on the values of humanity and nationalism contained in Ibrahim Tuqan's poetry. The research instrument was the researchers themselves assisted by three classification tables. The first table contains the analysis column of Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic study which consists of icons, indexes, and symbols. Then the second table contains an analysis of human values in Ibrahim Tuqan's poetry. Then the third table contains an analysis of the values of nationalism in Ibrahim Tuqan's poetry.

The purpose of this study is to improve students' reading understanding through the Sustained silent reading technique on the eighth grade of SMP Panca Budi who has problems in reading comprehension in narrative text in the 2023/2024 academic year. The subjects of this study amounted to 30 students. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) that contains of four stages, they are: Planning, Implementation of Action, Observation, and Reflection. This study is consist in 3 meetings. The first meeting is for the pretest, and cycle one and two meetings for cycle two. According the score of the research in chapter IV, the researcher concludes that the student's reading comprehension skills in the narrative text had increased. it might be see in the score of cycle one and cycle two. The average value in cycle one is 66,1 out of 30 students with a class percentage of 21%. There are some students who do not reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). In cycle two, in first meeting the average score is 69,8 and the class percentage is 39 % and then the second meeting the average score is 76,1 with the class percentage is 72% . This condition can be concluded that most students pass the criteria. It means that students achieve the minimum completeness criteria and scores in cycle two have increased.

Abstract. Hypertension is a significant health problem contributing to increased morbidity and mortality due to cardiovascular diseases. Low adherence to long-term therapy and limited public understanding of hypertension management highlight the need for an herbal-based educational approach that is more easily accepted by the community. This study aims to improve the knowledge of posyandu cadres regarding herbal therapy through education and practical administration of celery juice. The method employed was a community education activity conducted in Desa Sungai Baru with 11 participants. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test assessments, along with blood pressure measurements before and after the intervention. Results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge scores from 10–30 to 90–100, with an average improvement of 79.1%. Additionally, all participants experienced a reduction in systolic blood pressure by 13–20 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure by 8–15 mmHg. These findings indicate that education about celery juice is effective in enhancing cadre knowledge and has a positive impact on blood pressure control. The conclusion is that herbal education using celery juice can be an applicable and relevant non-pharmacological alternative in promotive and preventive efforts against hypertension at the community level. Abstrak. Hipertensi merupakan masalah kesehatan yang signifikan serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan morbiditas dan mortalitas akibat penyakit kardiovaskular. Rendahnya kepatuhan terhadap terapi jangka panjang dan terbatasnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang penanganan hipertensi menyoroti perlunya pendekatan edukasi berbasis herbal yang lebih mudah diterima oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kader posyandu mengenai terapi herbal melalui edukasi dan praktik pemberian jus seledri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kegiatan edukasi masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Sungai Baru dengan 11 peserta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan penilaian pre-test dan post-test, serta pengukuran tekanan darah sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan skor pengetahuan peserta dari 10–30 menjadi 90–100, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 79,1%. Selain itu, seluruh peserta mengalami penurunan tekanan darah sistolik sebesar 13–20 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik sebesar 8–15 mmHg. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi tentang jus seledri efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengendalian tekanan darah. Kesimpulannya, edukasi herbal menggunakan jus seledri dapat menjadi alternatif non-farmakologis yang aplikatif dan relevan dalam upaya promotif dan preventif terhadap hipertensi di tingkat masyarakat.

Indonesian mosque architecture in North Sumatra is full of ornaments and shapes that are not just of visual interest, but also philosophically and mathematically very relevant. Nevertheless, very little research exists that specifically compares the application of ethnomathematical concepts in two very old mosques, the Al-Mashun Grand Mosque and the Al-Osmani Grand Mosque. Indeed, these two mosques are a peculiar combination of domestic culture and external influences, as expressed by the building's form and decoration. This research evaluated architectural aspects with the help of indicators like geometric shapes (circle, triangle, square, rhombus), three-dimensional objects (block, cube, tube, hemisphere), and geometric transformations (reflection, translation, rotation). This research aims to: (1) establish the application of ethnomathematical concepts to Al-Mashun Grand Mosque architecture; (2) to establish the application of ethnomathematical concepts to Al-Osmani Grand Mosque architecture; and (3) compare the results of the application of the concept in the two mosques. This study applies qualitative descriptive research with the case study approach, comparing data using comparative descriptive analysis of field observation, visual documentation, and reading study. The results of this study show that Al-Mashun Grand Mosque emphasizes symmetrical octagonal buildings and intricate ornaments in the Middle Eastern style of design, while Al-Osmani Grand Mosque emphasizes rectangular buildings and Malay ornamentations. Both employ geometric transformations that enhance harmony, order, and cultural identity. These findings illustrate that Islamic architecture serves not merely as a space for worship but also as a conduit for integrating cultural values with mathematical principles.
