Abstract

The use of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from garlic and onion skin waste has the potential to be an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical fertilizer AB Mix in the cultivation of curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) in a vertical garden system. This research aims to describe the quality of LOF with the addition of Eco Enzyme, analyze the effect of various LOF concentrations on the height, number, biomass, and morphology of curly lettuce, and describe the impact of implementing LOF application that can support SDG 2.2 food security indicators. The research was conducted from September to November 2025 at the Oase Tembok Gede Smart Village in Surabaya. The research method uses 2 stages: LOF prototype creation and nutrient content testing at BSPJI Surabaya, referring to the Minister of Agriculture Decree No. 261/KPTS/SR.310/M/4/2019. Additionally, LOF implementation on curly lettuce plants in a vertical garden with parameters of height, number, biomass, and morphology of curly lettuce. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis, followed by a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments (P0: budikdamber water control, P1: 40 mL, P2: 50 mL, P3: 60 mL) and three replications. The quality test results showed a K₂O content of 2.03% meeting the minimum standards of the Ministry of Agriculture Decree No. 261/KPTS/SR.310/M/4/2019. ANOVA analysis showed no significant difference between treatments (p > 0.05), but treatment P3 (60 ml) produced the best growth with a height of 11 cm, 7 leaves, a fresh weight of 11 grams, and fresh green leaves. Although the nutrient quality of LOF is not yet optimal, the growth of curly lettuce remains good because it is supported by suitable environmental conditions. This research supports SDG indicator 2.2 (Zero Hunger) thru the utilization of household waste for local food security based on urban agriculture.

Abstract

Increasing food demand and high land use activities have led to the conversion of fisheries and agricultural areas. Kampoeng Pintar Oase Surabaya uses budikdamber (fish farming in buckets) as an alternative solution for small areas. Budikdamber produce ammonia from food waste and fish feces which can reduce water quality requiring environmentally friendly ammonia management solutions. This study aims to describe the effect of Lemna minor on ammonia reduction in budikdamber systems, the lowest ammonia level achieved after Lemna minor addition, the impact of ammonia reduction on catfish growth, and to assess the application of Lemna minor in budikdamber systems in supporting the achievement of SDG 2. The research was conducted in two stages. The first stage involved the creation of a pond culture medium using the observation method. The second stage was experimental, involving the implementation of pond culture for 21 days using two treatments, namely a control (without Lemna minor) and a treatment with the addition of Lemna minor, each of which was repeated three times. The parameters measured included ammonia levels, total nitrogen, pH, temperature, and DO. Data analysis was performed descriptively and quantitatively by testing ammonia and total nitrogen levels at BSPJI Surabaya based on the SNI 6484.4:2014 water quality standards. The results showed that the addition of Lemna minor reduced ammonia levels lower than the control treatment. The lowest ammonia level achieved was 0.72 mg/L on the 7th day. The best catfish growth was observed in the Lemna minor treatment with an average weight of 46 grams. Lemna minor is effective as an ammonia phytoremediator and supports fish growth in fish farming in buckets, as well as supporting the achievement of SDG 2 “Zero Hunger” through strengthening sustainable food security.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan pembuatan alat penyemprotan pestisida hama, dan pupuk pada tanaman merica berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membangun alat penyemprotan Pestisida Hama dan Pupuk Pada Merica Menggunakan Metode IoT yang efisien, dan aman tanpa harus melibatkan petani secara langsung di lapangan. Sistem ini dirancang agar dapat bekerja berdasarkan waktu yang telah dijadwalkan melalui modul RTC (Real Time Clock) serta mampu menampilkan kondisi alat secara real-time melalui aplikasi Blynk di smartphone. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan sembilan tahapan pengembangan, yaitu potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk lanjutan. Penelitian dilakukan melalui perancangan dan pengembangan alat penyemprotan pestisida hama dan pupuk berbasis Internet of Things (IoT), yang diuji secara langsung di lahan tanaman merica. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat dapat berfungsi sesuai perancangan setelah dilakukan beberapa kali revisi, sehingga sistem menjadi lebih stabil, aman, dan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan perawatan tanaman merica. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat penyemprotan pestisida hama dan pupuk berbasis IoT mampu bekerja secara otomatis sesuai jadwal dan kondisi tanah, serta dapat dipantau dan dikendalikan secara real-time melalui smartphone. Pengujian alat menunjukkan efektivitas waktu sebesar 66,67% dan efektivitas tenaga kerja sebesar 83,33%, serta meningkatkan keamanan petani dengan mengurangi paparan langsung pestisida. Dengan demikian, alat ini dinyatakan efektif, aman, dan layak diterapkan pada pertanian merica.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis cloud terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas VI di SDN 199 Tanah Kongkong. Rendahnya minat belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran menjadi salah satu permasalahan utama yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, kurang menarik, serta tidak interaktif. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, sehingga diperlukan inovasi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran yang lebih modern dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 18 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket minat belajar yang terdiri dari 12 pernyataan dengan menggunakan skala Likert lima poin, yang mencakup indikator ketertarikan, perhatian, keterlibatan, dan keinginan siswa dalam belajar. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat minat belajar siswa setelah penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis cloud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis cloud, sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan minat belajar yang berada pada kategori tinggi hingga sangat tinggi. Hal ini terlihat dari meningkatnya rasa ketertarikan siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, munculnya motivasi untuk belajar lebih lanjut, serta meningkatnya keaktifan siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, media berbasis cloud juga memberikan kemudahan akses materi pembelajaran secara fleksibel dan interaktif, sehingga mendukung proses belajar yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perancangan dan pembuatan alat penanam biji jagung otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sistem kerja alat dalam melakukan pelubangan tanah, penjatuhan biji jagung, dan penutupan lubang secara otomatis, dan mengetahui efektivitas dalam pengoperasian alat tanam jagung otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, serta tahap pengujian alat secara langsung dilapangan untuk memastikan sistem dapat bekerja sesuai dengan perancangan. Komponen utama yang digunakan dalam sistem ini adalah mikrokontroler ESP32, sensor ultrasonik, sensor rotate, serta beberapa komponen pendukung lainnya. Sensor ultrasonik digunakan untuk mendeteksi ketersediaan atau ketinggian stok biji jagung pada wadah penyimpanan, sedangkan sensor rotate digunakan untuk mendeteksi perputaran mekanisme penanam sehingga proses penjatuhan biji dapat berlangsung secara terkontrol sesuai dengan sistem yang telah dirancang. Dengan adanya alat ini, proses penanaman biji jagung secara otomatis sesuai dengan mekanisme kerja yang telah ditentukan. Alat mampu membantu proses penanaman menjadi lebih teratur, efisien, dan mengurangi kesalahan dalam penempatan biji jagung di lahan pertanian. Kesimpulannya, alat penanam biji jagung otomatis berbasis ESP32 ini dapat menjadi solusi teknologi yang membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses penanaman jagung serta mendukung penggunaan teknologi sederhana dalam bidang pertanian modern.

Abstract

The problem of household plastic waste remains an environmental challenge in various regions, including Gading Watu Village, Menganti District, Gresik Regency. This community service program aims to introduce a simple technology for processing plastic bottle waste through a heating process to form liquid plastic that can be formed as the initial stage of plastic waste recycling. The implementation method includes a community needs survey, design and testing of plastic processing equipment, training on melting and forming plastic, and socialization of the environmental impacts of plastic waste. The results of the activity show an increase in community understanding and basic skills in plastic waste management, although the technology and processed products still require further development. This program is expected to be the first step in building community awareness and independence in sustainable plastic waste management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of health facilities and infrastructure, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and examine the influence of facility and infrastructure management on service quality at the Anugerah Medical Center Metro Lampung Maternity and Child Hospital (RSIA). The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies with purposively selected informants, including elements of management, health workers, administrative staff, and patients or patient families. Data validity was guaranteed through source and technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at the Anugerah Medical Center Metro Lampung Maternity and Child Hospital has been implemented systematically through the stages of planning, procurement, maintenance, and supervision and evaluation, although not yet fully optimal. The main supporting factors include the hospital management's commitment to improving service quality and patient safety, as well as internal policy support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are more technical and managerial in nature, such as the time-consuming procurement administration process, limited human resources specifically for facility maintenance, and suboptimal cross-unit coordination. The management of facilities and infrastructure has been shown to significantly impact service quality, particularly in terms of service effectiveness, patient comfort, and healthcare worker performance. The conclusion of this study indicates that the management of facilities and infrastructure is a crucial component in supporting the quality of healthcare services at the Anugerah Medical Center Metro Lampung Hospital. Therefore, it is recommended that the hospital strengthen short-term and long-term planning, optimize the integrated electronic inventory system, improve the competency of human resource facility managers, and strengthen cross-unit coordination and supervision to ensure the sustainability of the quality of maternal and child healthcare services.
