Abstract

This study aims to analyze the legal protection of the rights of prisoners in the divorce process that takes place in the Religious Court. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using case studies and in-depth interviews with several prisoners who are undergoing divorce at the Religious Court, as well as judges and related legal practitioners. The results show that although prisoners have the right to apply for divorce and receive legal protection, there are a number of challenges faced, including limited access to attend the trial in person, as well as communication problems between prisoners and legal counsel. Religious Courts tend to accommodate divorce proceedings through remote court facilities, but not all prisoners have sufficient understanding of the procedure. The contribution of this research is to provide recommendations for improving the legal system in the Religious Courts to provide maximum protection for prisoners in divorce cases

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of Organic Fertilizer (OP) made from oil palm plantation waste and cow dung enriched with Agricultural Symbiotic Microbes (ASM) on Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) production. This research was conducted in Natai Raya Village, Kumai District, West Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. The design used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of 4 treatments P0= control (100% NPK fertilizer), P1= NPK fertilizer 100%+OP 50% (100 g/plant), P2= NPK 100%+OP 100% (200 g/plant), P3= NPK 100%+OP 150% (300 g/plant). The number of sorghum per plot was 24 plants, and the number of plots per treatment was 3 plots, with a size of 3x2 m (6 m2). Harvesting age of sorghum was 70 days. Parameters observed: plant growth (plant height and number of tillers), and plant production (fresh weight and dry matter). The results showed that the average height of sorghum plants were:  P0 = 181.14 cm, P1 = 204.35 cm (increased 12.81% compared to PO), P2 = 211.81 cm (increased 16.93%), and P3 = 218.79 cm (increased 20.79%). The number of tillers of sorghum plants were: P0= 10.47 stems, P1= 10.53 stems (increased 0.53%), P2= 10.74 stems (increased 2.52%), and P3= 11.01 stems (increased 5.1%). The fresh weight production of sorghum plants and fruits per plot was P0= 13.4 kg or 22.36 tonnes/ha, P1= 17.1 kg or 28.52 tonnes/ha (27.55% increase), P2= 17.5 kg (30.63% increase) or 29.21 tonnes/ha, and P3= 18.2 kg or 35.75 tonnes/ha (35.75% increase). The dry matter production of sorghum plants and fruits per plot were P0= 4.17 kg or 6.94 tonnes/ha, P1= 5.31 kg or 8.85 tonnes/ha, P2= 5.44 kg or 9.07 tonnes, and P3= 5.66 kg or 9.43 tonnes/ha. The conclusion of this research is that the addition of organic fertilizer as much as 150% or 300 g/plant gives the best results on the growth and production of shorghum plants.   Keywords: Growth, Production, Shorghum, Organic Fertiliser, Oil palm plantation waste and cow feces.

Abstract

The purposes of this study are: 1) to get the types of negative prefixes in The Jakarta Post online newspaper, and 2) to find out which negative prefixes that often appear in The Jakarta Post online news column. The method used in this study is qualitative research and is designed in analysis study. Data were analysed from The Jakarta Post online newspaper using a descriptive analysis method, which involved several steps. First, the newspaper was searched for relevant articles. Next, words containing negative prefixes were collected to identify the types of negative prefixes and their frequency, particularly in economic and political news articles. These activities were carried out on several columns in each edition. The results indicate that negative prefixes play an important role in conveying negative meanings. This occurs in nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, morphologically and semantically, depending on which part of the word is attached first. Additionally, the study describes the forms, functions, and meanings of the identified prefixes. Morphologically, the affixation processes involving the negative prefixes dis-, un-, in-, mis-, im-, and il- illustrate how these prefixes can change word classes as derivational prefixes.

Abstract

This project aims to develop an expert system to support agricultural water management using Fuzzy Logic and Rule-Based Decision Making methods. This system is important for improving agricultural yields and environmental sustainability, especially with the increasing demand for food and the impacts of climate change. Data was taken from Kaggle, including information on soil conditions, temperature, and rainfall. Data processing includes missing value removal, outlier detection, and splitting the data into 80% training and 20% testing. Fuzzy Logic was chosen because it is able to handle data uncertainty and provide accurate output regarding crop water requirements, while Rule-Based Decision Making utilizes expert knowledge-based rules for decision making. Simulation results show that the Fuzzy Logic model provides recommendations for water needs according to actual conditions, with high responsiveness to soil moisture and temperature. The system is expected to be a tool to assist farmers in decision-making, increase agricultural productivity, and support water sustainability. This research contributes to the development of expert systems in agriculture and natural resource management based on modern technology.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) play an important role in the national economy. However, this sector often faces challenges related to financial management, especially in preventing financial fraud. Lack of understanding about transparent and systematic financial management can increase the risk of irregularities, which in turn can harm the UMKM business itself. This community service activity aims to provide education to UMKM players regarding the prevention of financial fraud through the application of good financial governance principles. The method used in this activity is an educational approach based on training and mentoring, which involves counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and simulations of implementing a transparent and accountable financial recording system. This activity was carried out in rural areas by involving a number of UMKM actors from various business sectors. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the types of financial fraud, the factors that cause it, and prevention strategies, including the implementation of a simple internal control system that can be applied according to the scale of their business. With this education, it is hoped that UMKM players will be more aware of the importance of good financial management and be able to implement fraud prevention measures in their business operations.

Abstract

This research analyzes the authority of notaries in creating minutes deeds for e-GMS of Public Companies, based on the principle of legal certainty. The research uses normative juridical methods, employing a conceptual approach to laws, regulations, theories, and expert opinions to address the issues raised. The findings indicate that the stipulations in article 12 of POJK 16/2020, which require that e-GMS minutes be made in the form of a notarial deed without signatures from the GMS participants, align with article 46 of UU-JN. This alignment provides legal certainty regarding the Notary's authority in conducting e-GMS. Despite conflicts between POJK 16/2020 and UU-PT, POJK 16/2020 is considered a specific provision (lex specialis) through UU-4/2023, while UU-PT is a general provision (lex generalis). Article 8 paragraph (1) letter b of POJK 16/2020 aligns with article 16 paragraph (1) of UUJN-P, emphasizing the necessity of physical presence for notaries, appearing parties, and witnesses in notarial deeds. Without clear "specific conditions" as mentioned in article 9 of POJK 16/2020, the requirement for notarial deeds must follow the Notary Law. If the physical presence requirement is unmet, the deed only holds the evidentiary strength of an underhand deed as per article 16 paragraph (9) of UUJN-P. For supervision and law enforcement purposes, the Capital Market Notary must state in the deed that the submission of electronic data by the e-GMS Provider does not absolve its responsibility in ensuring the validity of the electronic data in the implementation of the e-GMS for Public Companies
