Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan individu, untuk mencetak generasi yang kompeten, inovatif (mampu memanfaatkan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi) dalam pembangunan lebih lanjut. Bagi manusia adanya pendidikan sangatlah penting. Adanya pendidikan, manusia dapat menggali kemampuan diri lebih dalam lagi yang dimiliki sebagai manusia yang bermutu dalam menghadapi, melalui tantangan kehidupan bermasyarakat dan meraih kesuksesan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa dan bagaimana pengaruh media proyektor LCD terhadap minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan media LCD proyektor dengan tingkat minat belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Islam Plus An-Nur yang terletak di Cikarang Barat. Hipotesis penelitian disetujui berdasarkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 dan nilai t estimasi sebesar 4,222 melebihi nilai t kritis sebesar 1,705 yang diperoleh dari t tabel. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian koefisien regresi dengan nilai positif 0,698 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,407 untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh media proyektor LCD terhadap tingkat minat penguasaan bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa variabel X memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan sebesar 40,7% terhadap variabel Y. Namun, perlu diperhatikan bahwa sisanya sebesar 59,3% pengaruh terhadap variabel Y disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor yang tidak dibahas dalam ruang lingkup penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan untuk kehidupan siswa dan di dalam agama pendidikan karakter telah disebutkan dalam Al-Qur’an. Fakta menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan karakter dapat diperoleh melalui media pembelajaran seperti film animasi. Animasi Upin dan Ipin adalah animasi yang memiliki banyak nilai pendidikan karakter. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis adakah nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam animasi Upin dan Ipin episode rindu ibu, serta untuk mengetahui sejauh manakah tingkat pemahaman siswa mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung pada animasi Upin dan Ipin dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual sebagai penerapannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah hasil wawancara dengan pihak Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun baik dari guru, siswa kelas V MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun, dan sumber data pendukung yaitu, buku, jurnal, dan dokumen.Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa animasi Upin dan Ipin mengandung lima nilai pendidikan karakter dan dari hasil respon siswa menunjukan bahwa film animasi Upin dan Ipin menjadi salah satu media belajar yang disukai oleh siswa untuk penerapan pemahaman nilai pendidikan karakter khususnya pada episode rindu ibu yang memiliki lima nilai pendidikan karakter yaitu: 1) religius, 2) jujur, 3) kerja keras dan mandiri, 4) menghargai prestasi, 5) bersahabat/komunikatif.Kata Kunci: Analisis nilai, Pendidikan Karakter, Animasi Upin dan Ipin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dan mendeskripsikan analisis pembelajaran berbasis STEAM untuk menanamkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pelajaran IPA di kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Zaytun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Sampel untuk penelitian ini adalah dua kelas ya itu kelas 5-B02 dan 5-B05 yang berjumlah 53 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa, pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada siswa, sesuai dengan pemaparan hasil tes pelajaran IPA yang memperlihatkan 43 siswa mampu mendapatkan nilai 80-100 dengan predikat baik sekali sebesar 81% dari jumlah keseluruhan sampel yaitu 53 siswa. Selain itu dalam menganalisis uraian jawaban siswa menunjukan bahwa, hasil jawaban siswa memenuhi unsur dan indikator dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of policies in the development of the Minapolitan area as a potential for tourism in Losarang District, Indramayu Regency, the driving and inhibiting factors that occur, as well as the strategies and efforts made. This type of case study research with qualitative methods were obtained through literature and field studies, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis with three steps, namely data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study show: 1) the implementation of the policy for the development of the minapolitan area as a potential for tourism in Indramayu district is not optimal as seen from the dimensions of policy implementation which have not been fulfilled properly, namely aspects of policy communication, resources, dispositions, and bureaucratic structure; 2) factors that support this policy are potential natural resources and local cultural wealth, and inhibiting factors are problems with the quality of human resources, infrastructure, lack of regional regulations and legal instruments at the technical level of implementation, budget, public awareness, technology and media public information; 3) the efforts made by the local government to include the development of Minawisata in the regional development plan and communicate it to related parties. Minapolitan entrepreneurs are modernizing salt production so that it has a tourism appeal. While the community's efforts are to take real action to organize the area, clean up waste so that it attracts tourists to come to their area.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ experiences in supporting the fluency of reading skills among first-grade students at Ma’had Al-Zaytun Islamic Elementary School. Reading is a fundamental skill that serves as the foundation for all learning activities at the primary level. Without adequate reading ability, students often face difficulties in understanding other subjects. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological design to describe the authentic experiences of teachers in reading instruction. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with the first-grade teacher as the main informant, and documentation of teaching activities and student outcomes. The findings show that the teacher applied the Structural Analytic Synthetic (SAS) method, which was effective in helping students recognize whole words, break them down into syllables and letters, and simultaneously understand the meaning of texts. The teacher also implemented scaffolding strategies by grouping students according to their reading abilities, providing intensive assistance to struggling readers, and encouraging fluent readers to practice independently. Various teaching media were used, such as Bacalah books, syllable cards, KV charts, phonics games, and interactive visual aids, which enhanced student engagement and motivation. The main challenges included differences in students’ reading proficiency, lack of concentration, and difficulties in distinguishing similar letters. Supporting factors consisted of adequate school facilities, curriculum support, and the teacher’s creativity in designing enjoyable learning activities. This study concludes that teachers’ experiences play a crucial role in developing effective strategies for early reading instruction and may serve as a useful reference for both teachers and educational institutions in improving literacy at the primary level. Abstract

Arabic language learning in Indonesian madrasahs often faces challenges as it is perceived as difficult and less relevant to students’ daily lives, making learning motivation a key factor for success. This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in motivating eighth-grade students at MTs Ma’had Al-Zaytun and to identify the strategies used to enhance motivation in Arabic learning. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving three Arabic teachers and fifteen students selected purposively. The findings reveal that teachers act not only as instructors but also as role models and motivators by implementing interactive learning media, providing rewards, and engaging in empathetic communication. These strategies foster both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, build students’ confidence, and encourage active participation in class. The study concludes that teachers play a crucial role in shaping students’ motivation to learn Arabic in a boarding school environment. The results highlight the need to strengthen teachers’ competencies in designing adaptive and communicative learning strategies aligned with students’ needs, while also contributing academically to the development of motivation theories in foreign language learning within Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a theoretical analysis of the implementation of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method in Arabic language instruction at Islamic Higher Education institutions. The research is grounded in the reality that Arabic teaching in Indonesia remains dominated by traditional approaches focused on grammar and translation, while students’ communicative competence remains relatively low. Employing a qualitative approach through library research, the study collected data from books, journal articles, theses, and other relevant documents, which were critically analyzed and synthesized. The findings reveal that CLT is theoretically grounded in the view of language as communication and in the framework of communicative competence. The advantages of CLT include increasing learning motivation, language fluency, active participation, and the integration of the four language skills. However, its application faces several challenges, particularly at the institutional level, such as limited lecturer competence, large class sizes, inadequate teaching materials, passive learning culture, and insufficient infrastructure. A critical analysis affirms that CLT is highly relevant in addressing the challenges of Arabic language teaching in the modern era, especially in the context of Islamic Higher Education. This research is expected to serve as a conceptual foundation for developing more communicative, adaptive, and contextual Arabic teaching strategies. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of self-confidence among third-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun when speaking in front of the class. The research aimed to describe the strategies of implementing the storytelling method to enhance students’ self-confidence and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The participants consisted of teachers and third-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The findings revealed that storytelling created an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere, encouraging students to become more confident, courageous in performing, and able to express their ideas openly. Supporting factors included active teacher involvement, peer support, and a conducive classroom environment, while the inhibiting factors were limited time, varying student readiness, and the lack of diverse learning media. The study concludes that storytelling is an effective and applicable strategy to improve students’ self-confidence from an early stage, particularly in the context of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Arabic language textbook Semangat Mendalami Bahasa Arab for MTs Grade VII Volume 1 (Erlangga, 2023) in supporting the comprehension of seventh-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Ma’had Al-Zaytun in the 2024/2025 academic year. The textbook's role is examined in terms of its contribution to students' understanding of language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), influenced by factors such as comprehensible input and multimodal elements. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the textbook significantly impacts students’ comprehension and motivation. Strengths include thematic content and illustrations, while weaknesses like unvocalized texts hinder independent learning. Teachers' adaptations (e.g., read-translate strategies) bridge gaps, aligning with the Merdeka Curriculum. The study recommends textbook revisions and teacher training to enhance accessibility and effectiveness. Abstract

This research discusses educational psychology which has a significant contribution in increasing the effectiveness of Arabic language learning. By understanding the learning and teaching process as well as individual student needs. This research uses a literature review method (library research), where the discussion in this research is based on expert opinions and the results of previous research on psychology and the learning process. The results show that educational psychology is very important in learning Arabic, as in learning other languages. The following are several reasons why educational psychology is important in this context, including (1) Understanding the Learning Process, (2) Student Motivation and Engagement, (3) Effective Classroom Management, (4) Assessment and Feedback, and (5) Needs Special for Students. By utilizing these educational psychology concepts, Arabic teachers can create a supportive, motivating, and effective learning environment for all their students.
