Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of interest in learning on the learning outcomes of grade IV students in mathematics subjects. This research is a type of quantitative research with ex-post facto methods. The instruments used are observation sheets and interview sheets for pre-research then for research, namely questionnaire sheets, test sheets and documentation. The sample in this study was grade IV students of Al-Maraghy with a total of 36 students. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, linearity test as an analysis prerequisite test, simple linear regression test as a hypothesis test. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between learning interest on the learning outcomes of grade IV students in mathematics subjects with the influence of learning interest on learning outcomes by 12.1% and 87.9% influenced by other variables that were not studied.

Abstract

Understanding concepts is mastery of receiving and absorbing the material or information obtained. Based on the results of observations, it is known that students' understanding of concepts in science lessons in class V of SD 2 Demaan is still low. This research aims to increase students' conceptual understanding with a mind mapping learning model assisted by pop-up book media. This research is quantitative experimental research. This research was conducted in class V of SD 2 Demaan with 31 students as subjects. Data collection methods used include interviews, observation, tests and documentation. The results of the research obtained an average pretest score of 46.48 and an average posttest score of 88.06. Apart from that, this research also shows that the N-Gain value obtained is 0.77 in the high category. This shows that students' understanding of concepts after implementing the mind mapping model assisted by pop-up book media increased significantly and was effectively used in learning. Application of the mind map model with pop-up book media can increase understanding of concepts in the digestive system material in humans.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Ethno-Puzzle media in understanding the science concept of fifth grade students at SDN Clering 01 Jepara. This study used a quantitative experimental research design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design. This design is a pre-experimental development with data collection obtained from observation, concept understanding tests and documentation. The place of this research will be carried out in class V SD Clering. The sample in this study were 20 students using a saturated sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the statistical score of the paired sample t test shows that there is a difference in the pretest average value of 54 while the posttest average value is 81.10 and the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis test score with Stg. (2-tailed) i.e. 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that the Teams Game Tournament (TGT) assisted by Ethno-Puzzle media influences the understanding of the concept of science in fifth grade students at SDN Clering 01 Jepara.

Abstract

The study's objectives were to compare the outcomes of students' science learning prior to and following the use of audiovisual media and to investigate the effect of the Outdoor Study model on students' interest in learning. The Pre-Experimental Design with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model is this quantitative experimental research design. Using a student learning interest questionnaire, the written test method generates objective data in the form of multiple choice and non-test data. Class IV SDN Tanjunganom 01 will serve as the setting for this investigation. The saturated sample method was used to collect samples from all twenty fourth-grade students in this study. In accordance with the findings of this study, the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis test score with a Stg.(2-tailed) value of 0.000 0.05 indicates that the Outdoor Study model is supported by the influence of audiovisual media on class student interests. To pursue a career in science, IV SDN Tanjunganom 01 received an average score of 73 on the post-test and 55 on the pre-test.The N-Gain test, on the other hand, had an average value of 0.58, indicating a moderate increase in the criteria for improving student learning outcomes following treatment. The percentage of N-Gain scores is 58%, indicating that the interpretation of the effectiveness of the Outdoor Study learning model supported by audiovisual media can be categorized as quite effective in increasing students' understanding of science concepts.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to determine the character values of the Sedekah Bumi tradition in Raci Village, Batangan Sub-District, Pati Regency. This research is qualitative research with a case study type-research that will be conducted in Raci Village. The researched object is the Sedekah Bumi Tradition. This research uses observations, interviews, and documentation as the data collection techniques. The results of the research reveal that the Sedekah Bumi Tradition is held on Wednesday (Rabu Wage Bulan Apit of the Javanese Calendar) by conducting rituals and other events at Punden Raci, Punden Ketitang Kulon, Punden Sumur Brumbung, and Pulo Sawahan, where these places are believed to be the tombs of Mbah Danyang as an ancestor in ancient times who had cleared the village land (babad alas Raci Village). The character values that exist in the Sedekah Bumi Tradition are the values of a religious character, tolerance, discipline, love of the motherland, social care, and responsibility. The conclusion of this research is that the Sedekah Bumi tradition is a legacy from our ancestors that is still preserved by the next generation of the nation. The Sedekah Bumi tradition has six positive character values that are well taught to the people of Raci Village and elementary school-age children.                                                                                                   Keywords: Sedekah Bumi Traditions; character values.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of using mobile phones before bedtime on sleep patterns and emotional development of elementary school children. The research sample consisted of 60 randomly selected children from grades 4 and 5 at Bentengmati 1 Elementary School in Mijen. Data was collected on mobile phone usage before bedtime, sleep patterns, and children's emotional development. The subjects of the study were fourth and fifth-grade students at Bentengmati 1 Elementary School. Data collection techniques included surveys and questionnaires. The primary data for this research was obtained through distributing questionnaires to the fourth and fifth-grade students. The study was conducted online using Google Forms from April 27 to 28, 2024. Data was processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS Statistics 22. The results showed that students at Bentengmati 1 Elementary School have varying durations of gadget usage. There are 21 students (35%) who have a high duration of gadget use and 10 students (16.7%) with a low duration. The study on the duration of gadget usage among fourth and fifth-grade students at Bentengmati 1 Elementary School revealed that these children find gadgets very important and have difficulty controlling their use. This condition is common among children transitioning from childhood to adolescence, who still require parental supervision. The data also revealed that more than half of the students experience poor sleep quality, with 21 students (35%) affected. Additionally, 68 out of 81 respondents (84%) reported poor sleep quality, while only 13 students (16%) had good sleep quality.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the participation of parents in supporting students in academic and non-academic achievements. This research uses a correlational method that looks for the relationship between parental participation in education and student academic achievement. The sample for this research was 13 parents of grade 5 students in one of the elementary schools in Jepara City. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire and documentation. The research results show that there is a relationship between parental involvement in education and elementary school students' learning achievement of 0.003. The figures obtained show that there is a positive relationship between parental participation in education and student academic achievement, the relationship category is at a low level. This means that parental involvement in education has a relationship with student achievement, but there is still a contribution from other factors which have a closer relationship with student achievement, but were not examined in this research.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD 2 Jati Wetan Kudus dan keterampilan guru pada materi IPAS dengan pembelajaran tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantuan Kartu IPAS Smart (KIPAS). KIPAS adalah media kongrit yang dapat menunjang siswa dalam mempelajari materi konseptual. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini melalui 2 siklus. Setiap siklus dibagi menjadi 2 pertemuan, yang meliputi 4 tahap yakni rencana, aksi, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penilitian adalah siswa dan guru. Tenik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data memakai pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan ketuntasan belajar kognitif meningkat, terlihat pada siklus I mencapai  69% kriteria cukup baik dan siklus II 92% kriteria sangat baik. Keterampilan siswa siklus I 85% kriteria baik dan siklus II 100% kriteria sangat baik. Keterampilan mengajar guru mengalami peningkatan dengan perolehan jumlah rata-rata skor pada siklus I 83 kriteria baik, dan siklus II 93 kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui  NHT dengan KIPAS dapat memaksimalkan hasil belajar siswa dan keterampilan guru.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the increase in students' conceptual understanding after implementing the STAD learning model combined with EkonQuizz media. This research was conducted at SDN Tamansari 03 which is located in West Kereppare hamlet, Pati Regency. The population in the study were all fourth grade students at SDN Tamansari 03 using a saturated sampling technique. The total population is 20 students consisting of 9 male students and 11 female students. This research uses a quantitative pre-experimental method combined with a One Group Pretest-posttest design. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study used the N-Gain test. The research results show that there is an increase in students' understanding of concepts as seen from the results of the N-Gain test which shows significant changes. The N-Gain value is 0.6017 with a percentage of 60.17% indicating the category is quite effective. The use of the STAD model in combination with EkonQuizz media can also increase students' understanding of concepts, this can be seen from the results of the N-Gain test on each indicator which has experienced a significant increase. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that applying the STAD model combined with EkonQuizz media can improve students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar guru dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPAS dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran TGT berbantuan media Monies. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SDN 3 Padurenan Kecamatan Gebog Kabupaten Kudus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 3 Padurenan semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 berjumlah 13 siswa yang terdiri dari 9 siswa laki-laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada keterampilan mengajar guru dan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif, afektif, serta psikomotorik. Keterampilan mengajar guru pada siklus I memperoleh presentase rata-rata 71,5% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84,5%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata 71 dengan ketunatasan klasikal 46,15% dan meningkat pada siklus II rata-ratanya menjadi 81,85 dengan presentase ketuntasan 76,92%. Hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 62,15% dan meningkat pada siklus II menajdi 79,23%. Sedangkan hasil belajar ranah psikomotorik pada siklus I memperoleh presentase 56,43% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 80,92%.
