Abstract

This research is to answer the management strategy for visits tourists as well as f -factors which required for increasing the implementation of the Beautiful Malino Festival as a Tourist Attraction a. Surveys and documentation were carried out before and during the Beautiful Malino festival which took place in September in Malino, Tinggimincong District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative , data collection through the distribution of questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The implementation of the Beautiful Malino Festival was able to attract an increase in the number of tourist visits to Malino since 2017 the number of tourists reached 20,000 people, in 2018 it reached 20,000 people. 50,000 people and in 2019 up 300% or reaching 80,000 people . The results of the study revealed that the strategy adopted in increasing tourist visits was due to the development of tourist destinations through offering affordable tour packages , collaboration with relevant agencies through funding and sponsorship assistance and promotions carried out regularly by the Gowa district government through social media, attracting influencers, banners, billboards, and print media. This study recommends improving the accessibility of tourist movements in Malino destinations and providing accommodation facilities that can accommodate large numbers of tourists.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the room marketing system and how effective the room marketing system is to increase hotel room sales in the East Luwu Regency. The results of the research (1) The marketing system carried out by the management of Hotel I Lagaligo Malili, Hotel Tonapa Prince Sorowako, Mireya Hotel Sorowako, Duta In Hotel Sorowako, Transisko Hotel Sorowako, Lusiana Hotel & Restaurant Sorowako, Golden House Malili, Wisma Emperor Malil, Wisma Arya and Alya Malili, Anugrah Malili Inn in East Luwu Regency, is to provide discounts to guests who often stay overnight, upgrade rooms, use social media, Instagram, and Facebook. (2) Effectiveness of hotel room marketing in Luwu Regency, the average room sales per month in 2022 are: (1) I Lagaligo Malili Hotel Rp. 206.066667,- (2) Tonapa Prince Sorowako Rp. 47.600.000,- (3) Mireya Hotel Sorowako Rp. 77,175,000, - (4) , Ambassador In Hotel Sorowako Rp. 69.150.000,- (5) Transisko Hotel Sorowako Rp. 27,454,1667, - (6) Lusiana Hotel & Restaurant Sorowako Rp. 509.750.000,- (7) Golden House Malili Rp. 108,000,000,-,(8) Wisma Emperor Malili Rp. 18,900,333,-(9) Wisma Arya and Alya Malili Rp. 33,208,333,- and ,(10) Anugrah Malili Inn generated sales of Rp. 33,208,333,- SWOT analysis results. Abstract

Contributing to research on industrial revolution 4.0 era , this study investigates e-commerce practices carried out by tourist travel businesses in relation to the preparation of human resources in the tourism education sector. Key informant managers in two cities, Bali and Yogyakarta were interviewed to explore their adopted employee training and development models. The resulting data, triangulated by informal observation and document study, were analyzed using a theoretical framework that emphasizes seven indicators of interdependent employee development. The findings indicate that the global-oriented education management will be able to answer various needs in the job market through curriculum reconstruction with a digital human approach.

Abstract

Tourism has emerged as a significant economic sector worldwide, contributing to job creation, foreign exchange earnings, and overall development. In Indonesia, the government recognizes the potential of tourism and aims to develop various destinations to attract both domestic and international travelers. This research focuses on the development of Biak-Numfor as a national tourism magnet, analyzing strategies to enhance its tourism potential. The study employs a qualitative research methods. Data collection involves surveys, interviews, and analysis of secondary data from tourism-related sources. The research identifies the key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of Biak-Numfor as a tourism destination, considering factors such as natural resources, cultural heritage, infrastructure, accessibility, and competitive advantage. Based on the SWOT analysis, strategic recommendations are proposed to leverage the tourism potential of Biak-Numfor. These recommendations encompass four key areas: infrastructure development, cultural preservation and promotion, marketing and branding, and community involvement. The research emphasizes the importance of sustainable tourism practices, community engagement, and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure the long-term success of the destination. Furthermore, the study examines successful case studies from other similar destinations and explores their strategies for tourism development. Lessons learned from these cases serve as valuable insights for Biak-Numfor's tourism planning and implementation. The findings of this research contribute to the existing body of knowledge on tourism destination development and provide practical recommendations for policymakers, tourism industry stakeholders, and local communities in Biak-Numfor. By implementing the proposed strategies, Biak-Numfor has the potential to become a prominent national tourism magnet, attracting both domestic and international tourists, stimulating economic growth, and preserving its unique natural and cultural heritage.
