Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral repressive actions occurring through the implementation of Local Customary Norms and Traditions, particularly in the practice of 'Cuci Kampung' in Bengkulu City. The research seeks to comprehend how customary norms and local traditions lead to moral repressive actions within the local community. Employing a qualitative descriptive research method involving data collection through in-depth interviews with relevant parties, participatory observations, and documentation analysis of narratives depicting the execution of 'Cuci Kampung' and its impact on individuals and communities. Subsequently, the data was cross-checked to ensure accuracy. Data sources included local customary leaders and religious figures in the Pondok Besi neighborhood. Analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman approach, involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is an analysis of the relationship between local traditions, the customary norms of 'cuci kampung,' and moral repressive actions. The study discovered that the implementation of Local Customary Norms and Traditions, such as in the practice of 'Cuci Kampung,' could become a powerful mechanism for social control. However, it often imposes moral pressure on individuals not entirely in line with the existing norms, resulting in internal and external conflicts.

Abstract

Literasi finansial menjadi keterampilan esensial untuk membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dalam mengelola keuangan. Kesenjangan dalam pemahaman literasi finansial di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar mencerminkan kebutuhan mendesak untuk memperkenalkan modul pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan modul ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) yang mengadopsi model 4D Thiagarajan, Semmel, & Semmel tahun 1974. Validasi modul ajar dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen ahli dan data respon guru divalidasi oleh dua orang guru kelas II SD. Analisis data melibatkan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif, mencakup evaluasi hasil validasi oleh ahli dan analisis respon guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar dari aspek materi dengan nilai rata-rata Aiken’s V sebesar 0,90 (Sangat Valid). Pada aspek bahasa modul dengan nilai rata-rata Aiken’s V sebesar 0,89 (Sangat Valid). Respon guru terhadap modul ajar mencapai rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,25% (Sangat Baik). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini telah berhasil menghasilkan modul ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning yang dapat efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi finansial siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Understanding the materials and keeping motivated are challenges for elementary students in learning the Indonesian language. It happened due to a lack of learning resources. Previous studies mentioned that local learning resources can stimulate students' comprehension, specially forming colorful visualization. Therefore, the present research observes how to develop teaching material of caricatures adopted from the folklore "Sang Piatu," by employing problem-based learning (PBL). The current research aims to boost students' interest in learning, improve students' material comprehension of Indonesian language learning, and foster cultural awareness. The research method employed is Research and Development using the ADDIE model. This research contributes significantly to developing Indonesian language teaching materials at the elementary school level. The result demonstrates the approach's effectiveness in stimulating learning interest and improving students' understanding of the material, including increasing cultural awareness. Future studies could explore the potential of other folk stories from Indonesia. The upcoming studies could also integrate application technology to enhance student engagement in the era of Society 5.0.

Abstract

The main goal of this community service activity is to enhance teachers' numeracy literacy skills through the use of Google Sites. The partner for this service activity is SDN 8 Bengkulu Tengah, Desa Rindu Hati. The method used for this community service includes the IPPE method, which comprises: (1) Needs Identification, (2) Planning, (3) Training Implementation, and (4) Evaluation. The evaluation instrument used was a test sheet. Based on the assessment results, there was a significant improvement in teachers' skills, with the average pretest score rising from 51.57 to 85.56 in the posttest. The N-Gain score averaged 0.74, which falls into the "High" category. This indicates that the community service activity successfully achieved its goal of improving teachers' ability to optimize numeracy literacy instruction through the use of Google Sites and providing a useful training module. It is recommended that teachers consistently apply the techniques and tools learned in the classroom and integrate these methods into the independent curriculum across all subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of 3D folding paper crafts media on the learning outcomes of the water cycle learning topic for fifth-grade students in Cluster VIII, Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental research method and The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study is fifth-grade students in Cluster VIII, Bengkulu City. The sample consists of students from Class V at SDN 34 Bengkulu City as the experimental class and students from Class VB at SDN 36 Bengkulu City as the control class, obtained through cluster random sampling. The technique used in this study is a pre-test and post-test designed in the form of 10 multiple-choice questions. The results of the hypothesis test in the experimental class show that the t-value using Equal Variances Assumed= 2.799, and the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.008, with a ttabel distribution value of 2.069. Thus, thitung> ttabel (2.799 > 2.069) and Sig.(2-tailed) 0.008< 0.05. This data indicates that there is a difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class due to the different treatments applied to both classes.Based on this, it can be concluded that there is an influence of 3D folding paper crafts media on the knowledge aspect of learning outcomes in the water cycle topic for fifth-grade students in Cluster VIII, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and the self-confidence of students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research using quantitative correlational research methods. The population in this study were class IV students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City who took part in scout extracurriculars. In this study, sampling used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population was sampled, the sample in this study was 32 people. The research instrument uses a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis used is a prerequisite test using the normality test, correlation analysis, namely the variable significance test and the coefficient of determination test. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and self- confidence. These results are proven by the sig* (2-tailed) value of 0.002 with a Pearson correlation value of 0.534, a sign that the regression coefficient is positive. The variable size of student participation in scout extracurricular activities on the self-confidence variable is 26.8%. This means that it can be concluded that there is a relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and the self-confident attitude of students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan sangat penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Namun, guru-guru di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu masih belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk penyusunan LKPD interaktif. Hal ini menjadi mendesak karena keterbatasan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi berbasis teknologi. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melatih guru-guru di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu dalam menyusun LKPD interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi Liveworksheets untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan model Identifikasi Kebutuhan, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi (IPPE). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu yang berlokasi di Jl. Meranti No.4, Sawah Lebar Baru, Kec. Ratu Agung, Kota Bengkulu. Para guru yang menjadi sasaran program ini adalah seluruh staf pengajar di SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen evaluasi yang digunakan adalah lembar penilaian produk LKPD sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Pelatihan pengembangan LKPD interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Liveworksheets untuk guru SDN 50 Kota Bengkulu menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, guru-guru dapat menyusun LKPD interaktif secara mandiri dengan lebih baik. Penilaian melalui lembar tes menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menyusun LKPD meningkat secara substansial. Guru mampu menerapkan aplikasi Liveworksheets secara efektif dalam pengembangan LKPD interaktif yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan guru sekolah dasar dalam menyusun LKPD berbantuan aplikasi Liveworksheets dengan keunggulan utama pada peningkatan kreativitas dan relevansi LKPD sesuai perkembangan teknologi pembelajaran terkini. Kata Kunci: lembar kerja peserta didik, interaktif, aplikasi Liveworksheets [English]: The utilisation of technology in education is essential to enhance the effectiveness of learning. However, the Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu teachers have not yet optimised technology for developing interactive student worksheets (LKPD). This need has become urgent due to the teachers' limited skills in using technology-based applications. This community service program aims to train Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu teachers to create interactive student worksheets using the Liveworksheets application to foster creative thinking skills. The method applied in this program follows the Needs Identification, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation training model. This community service activity was conducted at elementary school 50 Kota Bengkulu, located at Jl. Meranti No.4, Sawah Lebar Baru, Ratu Agung District, Kota Bengkulu. The target participants for this program were all teaching staff at Elementary School 50 Kota Bengkulu. The evaluation instrument was a product assessment sheet for student worksheets applied before and after the training. The training on interactive student worksheets development using the Liveworksheets application for teachers at Elementary School shows significant results. After completing the training, teachers were able to independently create interactive student worksheets more effectively. Evaluation through assessment sheets indicated a substantial improvement in teachers’ ability to design student worksheets. Teachers effectively implemented the Liveworksheets application in developing interactive student worksheets tailored to student needs. This training successfully enhanced the skills of teachers in designing student worksheets with the Liveworksheets application, with notable advantages in increasing creativity and relevance in student worksheets aligned with the latest developments in educational technology. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh latihan interval terhadap kebiasaan merokok pada perenang lebong. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, teknik kelompok yang mengumpulkan data pre-test dan post-test melalui wawancara, makalah penelitian dan angket. Populasi penelitan berjumlah 30 orang dengan sampel 10 orang perenang yang merokok di Kabupaten Lebong. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dari normalitas, homogenitas dan T-test, pada penelitian ini latihan interval memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kebiasaan merokok pada perenang mengarungi dengan persentase 22%. terlihat dari 7.539 lebih tinggi dari tabel 2.228. Untuk mengurangi kebiasaan merokok, Anda tidak membutuhkan tekad dan keinginan yang kuat untuk berhenti dengan latihan interval training. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yangsudah dilakukan, latihan interval efektif untuk mengurangi kebiasaan merokok para perenang di Kabupaten Lebong.

Abstract

Internalization of religious values in education is a crucial aspect of shaping students' character and morals. One effective way to achieve this is through habituation activities integrated into the school culture. This research aims to describe the formation of religious character through the implementation of school culture in Pancasila student profiles. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, conducted at elementary school 44 Bengkulu City. Research subjects include the school principal, teachers, and students. Data collection instruments include observation guidelines, interview sheets, and documents. The data analysis process includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the religious dimension in Pancasila student profiles has been effectively implemented through school culture. This is evident in exemplary habituation policies involving both verbal and non-verbal actions such as dressing neatly, displaying politeness, being disciplined in worship, and practicing 6S (Smile, Salute, Greet, Polite, Courteous, and charity). Additionally, there are spontaneous habits such as praying before starting lessons, and the integration of intracurricular learning through subjects in the Merdeka curriculum such as Islamic Religious Education and Pancasila Education. Extracurricular activities like scouting serve as a means to embody religious values. These findings emphasize that a school culture incorporating religious values can positively contribute to the development of students' religious character

Abstract

Classroom learning should present material that is closest to students' lives, such as local culture. Meanwhile, local wisdom in the Sekujang tradition is a cultural heritage that must be taught to students. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning and moral values in the traditional poetry of Sekujang; and the suitability of rhymes in the Sekujang tradition as learning materials for elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were the traditional head and fifth grade teacher at elementary school 81 Seluma. The research instrument used by the researcher was in the form of interview guide sheets and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study explain that the Sekujang tradition has a rhyme that is rich in meaning and moral values. This Sekujang rhyme is appropriate if it is included in the material in elementary schools because there are basic competencies and Pantun and Character materials in Indonesian language learning and civics education Theme 6 (Cita-citaku), Sub-theme 1 (Aku dan Cita-citaku), Learning 1 Indonesian language and civics education subject. Abstrak Pembelajaran di kelas harus menghadirkan materi yang paling dekat dengan kehidupan siswa, seperti budaya setempat. Sementara itu, kearifan lokal pada tradisi Sekujang merupakan warisan budaya yang harus diajarkan kepada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan makna dan nilai moral dalam pantun tradisi Sekujang; dan kesesuaian pantun pada tradisi Sekujang menjadi materi pembelajaran siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subyek penelitian adalah ketua adat dan guru kelas V SDN 81 Seluma. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa lembar pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa tradisi Sekujang memiliki pantun yang kaya akan makna dan nilai moral. Pantun Sekujang ini sesuai jika dimasukan ke dalam materi di sekolah dasar karena terdapat Kompetensi Dasar (KD) dan materi Pantun dan Karakter dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan PPKn Tema 6 (Cita-citaku), Subtema 1 (Aku dan Cita-citaku), Pembelajaran 1 Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan PPKn.
