Abstract

Internalization of religious values in education is a crucial aspect of shaping students' character and morals. One effective way to achieve this is through habituation activities integrated into the school culture. This research aims to describe the formation of religious character through the implementation of school culture in Pancasila student profiles. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, conducted at elementary school 44 Bengkulu City. Research subjects include the school principal, teachers, and students. Data collection instruments include observation guidelines, interview sheets, and documents. The data analysis process includes data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that the religious dimension in Pancasila student profiles has been effectively implemented through school culture. This is evident in exemplary habituation policies involving both verbal and non-verbal actions such as dressing neatly, displaying politeness, being disciplined in worship, and practicing 6S (Smile, Salute, Greet, Polite, Courteous, and charity). Additionally, there are spontaneous habits such as praying before starting lessons, and the integration of intracurricular learning through subjects in the Merdeka curriculum such as Islamic Religious Education and Pancasila Education. Extracurricular activities like scouting serve as a means to embody religious values. These findings emphasize that a school culture incorporating religious values can positively contribute to the development of students' religious character

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a Character-Based Gurita Learning Media to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. Using the ADDIE development model, the study involved two media experts, two subject matter experts, one fourth-grade teacher, and 20 students from SDN 44 Kota Bengkulu. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and user feasibility questionnaires. (1) The media consists of several components: (a) octopus head, (b) octopus body, (c) octopus arms, and (d) a support pole. (2) The media received high feasibility ratings from both media experts (score of 86) and content experts (score of 67), categorized as very feasible. (3) Teacher responses also rated it highly, with scores of 87 and 85, while the average score from student responses was 12.90. (4) A paired samples t-test showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with pretest scores rising from an average of 74.57 to 85.65 in the posttest, yielding a gain score of 0.44 in the moderate category. These results suggest that the Gurpensila media is highly suitable for use as a teaching aid in Pancasila Education, particularly for teaching the practice of Pancasila principles in fourth-grade elementary school.

Abstract

Understanding students' knowledge profiles is crucial for teachers to group them based on their respective abilities. Currently, there is a lack of understanding among teachers regarding students' initial abilities in comprehending the taught material. Consequently, some students have not fully mastered the material when given questions by the teacher. To address this issue, it is important for teachers to conduct diagnostic assessments to evaluate students' initial abilities regarding the material to be taught. This study aims to analyze the results of diagnostic assessments in the Pancasila Education subject as the foundation for implementing differentiated learning for fourth-grade students at SDN 64 Bengkulu Tengah. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The quantitative approach is employed to analyze the data obtained from students' diagnostic assessments, while the qualitative approach is used to explore more in-depth information. The analysis results indicate that diagnostic assessments in civic education provide a comprehensive overview of students' needs and abilities that can be used as a guide in designing learning tailored to individual needs. Most fourth-grade students are at the developing stage rather than proficient, indicating a relatively low level of readiness for learning. The diagnostic assessment conducted through statement questions aimed to determine students' initial abilities. However, based on the assessment results, it appears that students have not fully understood the material to be taught.

Abstract

A prospective teacher must be equipped with the ability to design lessons as one of the pedagogical competencies that should be possessed by future teachers. This study aims to gain an understanding of the learning obstacles in designing Pancasila education lessons for students in the Primary School Teacher Education program. The participants in this study are students from the Primary School Teacher Education program at the University of Bengkulu. The method used in this research is qualitative. The analysis of the ability to design Pancasila education lessons was conducted through tests and interviews. The results of this study show that the learning obstacles encountered in designing Pancasila education lessons consist of ontogenic obstacles (psychological, conceptual, and instrumental), didactical, and epistemological obstacles. The recommendation from this study is to design learning that stimulates students to become independent in their learning.
