Abstract

Learning is a process of interaction between teacher-student as reciprocal communication conducted on the educational situation to achieve a goal. Learning in the lower class do thematically so that meaningful learning. Thematic is a concept of learning by using themes to link several subjects, one concept to another and between the subject to spontaneous or planned either in one or more subject areas and with diverse experience. As an effort to improve the learning process can be done by using problem-based learning, ie learning by presenting contextual issues to facilitate students build knowledge independently or groups. This type of research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. procedures covering the research, planning, implementation, monitoring / observation, and reflection. The research data in the form of information about the increase of learning in this case reciprocal activity between teachers and students. The research was conducted by two cycles.

Abstract

Abstract: The low ability of students in solving math problems illustrates the low ability of students in critical thinking. So this research aims to determine the impact of a realistic approach to mathematics education on students' critical thinking abilities. This research is a quasi experimental study with the type of non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 29 elementary school students. The results showed t-hitung=6.52 and t-tabel = 1.69092 where t_hitung is greater than the ttabel so that there is a positive influence of the use of Realistic Mathematics Education on the thinking skills of elementary school students, especially in mathematics learning            Abstrak:  Rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika menggambarkan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan realistik pendidikan matematika terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan jenis desain non-equivalent control group. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dan  = 1,69092 dimana  lebih besar dari pada  sehingga ada pengaruh positif penggunaan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik terhadap keterampilan berpikir siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam pembelajaran matematika

Abstract

Kesulitan belajar akan tampak jelas dari menurunnya kinerja akademis atau prestasi belajar siswa. Guru harus dapat mengidentifikasi kemungkinan kesulitan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakterisktik learning obtacles (LO) pada konsep Termokimia pada kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 16 Padang dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 34 siswa kelas XI IPA dan 2 orang guru kimia. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah butiran soal TKR (Tes Kemampuan Responden)lembaran observasi dan pedoman wawancara pada konsep termokimia. TKR yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 soal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian desain didaktis (Didactical Design Research). Penelitian dimulai dari observasi, wawancara, dan pembuatan TKR (Tes Kemampuan Responden). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hambatan belajar siswa yaitu learning obtacle terkait connection, learning obtacle terkait conceptual, learning obtacle terkait construction dan learning obtacle terkait struktural. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil TKR (test kemampuan responden) pada pembelajaran termokimia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference between student chemistry learning outcomes in the solubility material and solubility results applying the Problem Based Learning learning model and Think Pair Share learning model in the solubility material and solubility results in class XII IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pangean. This research uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is Quasi experimental research (quasi-experimental) with a design that is Posttets Only, Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Pangean which were divided into 2 classes, namely class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation and tests. The instrument used in this study was a test namely Posttest. The data analysis technique used is the Non-parametric Mann Whitney U Test. The results of data analysis concluded the significance value = 0.278. Because the significance is> 0.05 then Ho is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in student learning outcomes with the learning model Problem Based Learning and Think Pair Share on the solubility material and the solubility results in class XI Science in SMA Negeri 1 Pangean.

Abstract

ABSTRACT.This study aimed to comprehend the initial needs of chemistry games (CGs) media through field observation at Senior high schools in Pekanbaru. The data was processed quantitatively and used to determine the type of game that requires further development. This quantitative descriptive research used questionnaires and interviews for collecting data and used purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The number of respondents is 18 teachers and 140 students from 7 Senior high schools in Pekanbaru. The results showed: 1) The needs of learning media generally varies at each school; 42,86% needs an electronic-based chemistry games media and 57,14% needs both non-electronic and electronic-based chemistry games media, 2) Students demanded an instructional media that educational, interactive, exciting and fun, with a game form, 3) Teachers overwhelmed making an instructional teaching media. Keywords : Need Assessment, Instructional Media of Chemistry, Chemistry Game  ABSTRAK.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data kebutuhan media permainan kimia secara real melalui pengamatan dilapangan yang dilakukan pada SMA/MA di Kota Pekanbaru. Data yang didapatkan kemudian diolah secara kuantitatif dan digunakan sebagai pertimbangan untuk menentukan jenis permainan yang akan dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui angket dan wawancara.  Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan 7 sekolah SMA/MA di Kota Pekanbaru yang dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian dengan jumlah guru sebanyak 18 orang dan siswa 140 orang. Temuan utama pada penelitian ini yaitu : 1) Kebutuhan media pembelajaran pada umumnya bervariasi pada setiap sekolah, 2) Siswa sangat menginginkan media pembelajaran yang edukatif, interaktif, menarik dan tidak membosankan yaitu salah satunya dengan sebuah permainan, 3) Guru memiliki keterbatasan waktu dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : analisis kebutuhan, media pembelajaran kimia, permainan kimia

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the factors inhibiting the implementation of the 2013 curriculum, and to know what efforts in overcoming obstacles implementation of the 2013 curriculum.This research is a type of qualitative research with descriptive approach that takes the background of SMKN 1 Teluk Kuantan. Sampling refers to the technique of Purposive sampling with Respondents consisting of Chemistry Teachers, the representative curriculum. Curriculum and students of class X. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, participant observation, documentation and questionnaire. Data analysis is done by choosing, simplifying and transforming rough data that emerges from the written records in the field, so that it becomes more focused in accordance with the object of research. After the data analysis done then draw conclusions. Data validity is done by triangulation method with triangulation model of source and triangulation technique.The results show that the barriers that occur is the determination of KBM is sometimes difficult due to lack of labor and the lack of student interest makes it difficult to develop teaching materials oriented student center. Efforts to overcome this is the need for the availability of facilities and infrastructure such as the completeness of tools and practical materials and the addition of training curriculum 2013 in order to develop teaching materials oriented student center. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum in the implementation of learning, teachers have run the 2013 curriculum although sometimes do not adjust to the syllabus and RPP. Obstacles that occur is the method of learning approaches such as PBL, PBL is still difficult to implement because students have less literature and experience. Efforts are made teachers do various methods approach to create an active learning atmosphere and not saturate for learners, so they are more active in digging information. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum in the evaluation system, evaluation techniques used are formative and summative tests. The hindrance that occurs is that psychomotor assessment is rather difficult to do because there is rarely any practice in KBM. Efforts are made teachers classify learners in learning activities, assisted by individual assessments between friends, collaboration assessment with other teachers and the addition of tasks. Abstract

This research is the second research in the theme of Lesson Study-based Didactic Design. This research is based on the problem of learning difficulties and the low understanding of high school students on the concept of solubility and the solubility product constant. This study aims to make Lesson Design on the concept of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI SMA. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Singingi in class XI science and 2 chemistry teachers. The instruments used in this study were the TKR (Respondent Ability Test) questions, observation sheets and interview guidelines on the concept of solubility and solubility product constants. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a Didactic Research Design (DDR) approach. The research started from observation, interviews, and making TKR (Respondent Ability Test). The results of this study are the dissolution of the characteristics of the Learning Obstacle (LO) of students identified in the solubility concept and the probability of product being known. on the concept of solubility and the solubility product constant. Furthermore, the Learning Obstacles (LO) obtained were used to create online learning lesson designs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through learning models in the basic laws of chemistry in the class MIPA X SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan. This type of reaserch is classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The stages of research in each cycle include the planning of observation and reflection actions which are adopted from Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. The research instrument used was an observation sheet and a test. Subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA SMAN 2 Teluk Kuantan who numbered 29 students. As for the minimum completeness criteria that are set >78. For classical learning mastery expressed successful if the percentage of students completing learning reaches 85% from the number of students. From the research it was found that the average completeness of individuals in cycle 1 was 57,2%, with the percentage of classical completeness student learning outcomes 3,44%%, and in cycle 2 the average individual completeness 72,4% the classical completeness percentage is 48,27% and in cycle 2 the average individual completeness 87,2% the classical completeness percentage is 86,2%. From these result it can be concluded that learning by using the problem based learning model of learning on the basic laws of chemistry can improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

Hydrocarbon is a discusion topic in chemistery by bringing concept as key point. One ofsupporting learning methode for concept discovery is cooperative study project based learning.This type of reseach used in the study is experimental quasion with Non Equivalent ControlGroup Design. Samples were taken by using cluster random sampling technic. There two clasesfor this study wich are 18 students for experiment class and 20 students for control class. Theinstrument in this study was in the form of 20 multiple choise questiont that have been tested andtested by an instrument in the form of validity, different power, difficulty levels and reliability. Inthe reability test the value of cronbach’s alpha = 0,887 is obtained, meaning that the test has veryhigh reliability. So that 20 question were obtained for the post test. Independent Independent t-testis carried out for analysing technic. Based on hypothesis analysing with t-test, score sig (1- talled)= 0,001 < 0,005, it means H0 is unaccepted. The result of this analysis is Project Based Learningmodel is better than Teacher Center Learning to study hydrocarbon in class XI MIA MAN 2Kuantan Singingi.

Abstract

This class action research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of chemistry especially thecolloidal system material. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through InquiryBased Learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research instrumentsused were observation sheets, and tests. Subjects in the study were students of class XIMIA SMAN 2, TelukKuantan, with a total of 21 students. The results showed that the averagecompleteness of individuals in the first cycle was 77.61, with the percentage of classical completenessstudent learning outcomes was 61.90%, in the second cycle the average individual completenesswas 87.14 with the percentage of classical completeness student learning outcomes that is90.47% From these results it can be concluded that the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) learningmodel on the colloidal system material can improve student learning outcomes in class XI MIASMA N 2 TelukKuantan.
