This study aims to examine the influence of organizational communication and locus of control on job insecurity in the workplace. A quantitative approach with a descriptive method was used, involving 104 respondents from various companies. Data were collected through questionnaires consisting of scales for organizational communication, locus of control, and job insecurity. Validity and reliability tests indicated that the instruments used were highly consistent internally and valid for measuring the variables studied. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that organizational communication and locus of control significantly affect job insecurity. Organizational communication had a coefficient of 0.178, while locus of control had a coefficient of 0.090. These results indicate that improvements in organizational communication and locus of control will reduce the level of job insecurity in the workplace. This study provides insights for company management to design effective communication strategies and consider locus of control factors in efforts to reduce job insecurity. The practical implications of these findings highlight the need for management to enhance organizational communication and strengthen employees' locus of control to create a more stable work environment that supports employees' psychological well-being. The study contributes theoretically by adding to the literature on the impact of organizational communication and locus of control on job insecurity, and offers practical guidance for companies in managing human resources in an era of globalization and rapid technological changes.

Nowadays, anxiety about speaking in public is a problem for many teenagers, especially students. Public speaking anxiety is certainly influenced by many factors. This research aims to analyze and see the influence between self-efficacy and interpersonal communication and public speaking anxiety. This research is included in causal associative quantitative research. The sample for this research was 298 students from SMA N 1 Kuala. Research data was collected using a research scale that was declared valid and reliable. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that (1) The self-efficacy variable has a significant influence on public speaking anxiety which has a negative value, because based on the results of the t test, a significant level of 0.002 <0.05 is obtained. And the calculated t value > t table in One-Tailed, namely 10.152 > 2.05. With a coefficient value of 0.571, it means that if self-efficacy is within one unit, it will cause a decrease in students' public speaking anxiety. (2) The interpersonal communication variable in public has a significant influence on public speaking anxiety and has a positive value. Based on the results of the t test, a significant level of 0.03 < 0.05 was obtained and the calculated t value > t table was 2.125 > 2.05 in the Two-Tailed test. With a coefficient value of 0.404, it means that if interpersonal communication increases by one unit, it will lead to a decrease in students' public speaking anxiety. (3) Self-efficacy and interpersonal communication variables have a significant influence simultaneously on public speaking anxiety. Based on the results of the f test, a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained and the calculated f value was 74.719 > f table of 4,013. So this proves that simultaneously the three independent variables have a significant influence on students' public speaking anxiety.

The ability of Generation Z employees to multitask and adjust to the newest technological advancements brings about improvements for firms that employ them. However, generation Z is perceived to be readily distracted by alternative work prospects and to seek rapid gratification, which makes them less likely to be committed to organizations. Perceived organizational support is one of the factors that predict organizational commitment. However, prior research has not explained how perceived organizational support influences organizational commitment. This correlational quantitative research aims to explain the role of job satisfaction in influencing perceived organizational support on organizational commitment among Generation Z employees. This study involved 366 participants characterized as permanent employees belonging to Generation Z working in the area of District X, Medan. The research instruments use the perceived organizational support scale, the organizational commitment scale, and the job satisfaction scale, all of which have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the SEM test indicate that job satisfaction acts as a mediator in the relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational commitment.

This study explores the relationship between remote working, work-life balance, and organizational commitment among millennial employees. Remote working, which is increasingly popular due to its flexibility, was found to have a positive effect on work-life balance. Better work-life balance increases organizational commitment, reflecting employee loyalty and work motivation. Data were collected from 255 respondents through an explanatory quantitative method using snowball sampling. The results of the SEM-PLS analysis showed that remote working had a significant effect on work-life balance (13.5%) and organizational commitment (67.4%). Work-life balance also acted as a significant mediator between remote working and organizational commitment. This study emphasizes the importance of work flexibility in creating a work environment that supports work-life balance and increases employee loyalty.

Complex challenges force professional workers, especially female police officers, to maintain a balance between their professional and personal lives. Their duties are not only physically demanding but also emotionally and psychologically demanding. This can lead to an imbalance between their personal and work lives (work-life balance) that can potentially reduce their well-being and performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of hardiness personality on work-life balance, with locus of control as a mediating variable. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of institutional support in enhancing psychological resilience and stress management strategies for female police officers to improve their well-being and work effectiveness. A quantitative explanatory approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between variables. The study sample consisted of 163 female police officers in the Aceh Regional Police selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the hardiness personality scale, work-life balance scale, and locus of control scale. Hypothesis testing on hardiness personality shows a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05), a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) on work-life balance, a p value of 0.024 (p <0.05) on LoC, and a p value of 0.038 (p <0.05) on Loc as a mediator. Based on these results, it can be concluded that hardiness personality can influence work-life balance through Locus of Control.

Teachers often experience prolonged work-related stress that can negatively affect psychological well-being and physical health, including functional dyspepsia. This study aimed to examine how teachers achieve flourishing despite significant work stress, with a focus on coping strategies and the role of self-compassion as an internal psychological mechanism. Specifically, this study investigated the effect of coping strategies on flourishing, the effect of coping strategies on self-compassion, the effect of self-compassion on flourishing, and the mediating role of self-compassion in the relationship between coping strategies and flourishing among teachers with functional dyspepsia. A quantitative approach was employed by distributing self-report scales to 200 teachers who met the criteria of the R4-FDDQ Functional Dyspepsia screening test. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with JASP version 0.19.3.0. The results indicated that the data met validity and reliability requirements and that the proposed model demonstrated a good fit. Coping strategies were found to have a significant effect on flourishing and self-compassion. However, self-compassion did not significantly influence flourishing and did not function as a mediating variable between coping strategies and flourishing. In addressing problems, teachers with functional dyspepsia tended to prioritize religious coping and mindfulness over other indicators. Nevertheless, the common humanity dimension of self-compassion appeared to be inconsistent with flourishing, as prolonged illness contributed to feelings of isolation and hindered the development of positive social connections.

Performance is the level of success achieved by an individual in quality and quantity from task completion, aligned with job standards and organizational goals. This study examines psychological empowerment's influence on Sabhara Division personnel performance in the North Sumatra Regional Police, with self-efficacy as mediator. It employs quantitative methods and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a 279-person sample. Data sources include HR performance appraisals (June–December 2024, period II), psychological empowerment scales, and self-efficacy scales. Findings show self-efficacy is not a strong intervening variable for performance improvement among Sabhara personnel. Direct psychological empowerment enhancement yields greater effects than indirect paths. Practically, organizations should prioritize direct empowerment, supported by clear roles and structures, to boost Sabhara performance while mitigating negatives. Non-significant mediation highlights contextual factors—like organizational constraints, leadership, or resources—as key in Indonesian police contexts for linking empowerment to outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the contribution of work motivation on the influence of grit on individual work performance. This research conducted quantitative non-experimental. The sample in this study amounted to 60 police personnel. Data were collected using three scales adopted from previous research. The results direct effect indicate it has been observed that grit exerts a significant influence on individual work performance, with an estimated value of 0.503. This influence is categorized as "strong" due to its magnitude, which exceeds 50%. The indirect effect is characterized by the influence of grit on individual work performance through motivation. Indirect effect has a lower value than the direct effect of 0.303, representing an effect size of approximately 30.3%. In the overall path analysis, it is evident that the strongest path is observed to be the influence of grit on work motivation, with a significant proportion of 65.8%. The correlation between work motivation and grit, with individual work performance is not particularly robust. Consequently, it can be deduced that motivation has the potential to enhance individual work performance, superseding the notion that grit is the sole contributor. The study provides a comprehensive overview of the research deficiencies and recommendations.
