Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh integrasi Computational Thinking (CT) dalam pembelajaran matematika sekolah dasar terhadap kemampuan transfer pemecahan masalah, serta menelaah fidelity implementasi sebagai faktor moderator. Desain yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimental tipe nonequivalent groups pretest–posttest dengan melibatkan 120 siswa kelas V dari empat kelas paralel pada dua sekolah dasar negeri, yaitu SDN 006 Langgini dan SDN 004 Langgini. Dua kelas ditetapkan sebagai kelompok intervensi yang mengikuti pembelajaran matematika terintegrasi CT selama delapan minggu, dengan penekanan pada dekomposisi masalah, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, penalaran algoritmik, dan debugging pada soal cerita multilangkah (misalnya pecahan dan perbandingan), sedangkan dua kelas lainnya menjadi kelompok pembanding yang mengikuti pembelajaran reguler. Kemampuan transfer pemecahan masalah diukur menggunakan rubrik analitik yang membedakan transfer dekat dan transfer jauh. Fidelity implementasi diukur melalui observasi kelas terstruktur yang mencakup kepatuhan terhadap rancangan, kualitas pelaksanaan, dan paparan waktu pembelajaran. Hasil ANCOVA (dengan mengontrol skor pretest) menunjukkan bahwa kelompok intervensi memperoleh skor posttest transfer yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok pembanding, F(1,117)=29,84, p<0,001, dengan ukuran efek bermakna (ηp²=0,203; Hedges’ g=0,89). Analisis multilevel mengonfirmasi ketahanan temuan dengan mempertimbangkan pengelompokan data pada level kelas (ICC=0,11) dan menunjukkan efek kelompok yang signifikan (β=7,42, SE=1,36, p<0,001). Uji moderasi menunjukkan interaksi signifikan antara kelompok dan fidelity, F(1,114)=6,92, p=0,010, yang mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan transfer lebih kuat pada kelas dengan fidelity tinggi. Analisis komponen menunjukkan efek lebih besar pada transfer jauh (ηp²=0,213) dibanding transfer dekat (ηp²=0,136). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi CT berpotensi meningkatkan transfer pemecahan masalah matematika secara substansial pada siswa SD, terutama bila kualitas implementasi terjaga

Abstract

The background of this research is the low reading comprehension skills of students in grade 5. This research aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of grade 5 students at SDN 005 Binuang. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), which is carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The subjects in this study were all 15 grade 5 students. Data collection techniques were in the form of interviews, observations, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used was a combination of qualitative and quantitative. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out through 2 cycles, at the first meeting of cycle 1 there were 5 students who completed the reading comprehension with a percentage of 33.33% and at the second meeting it increased to 7 students with a percentage of 46.67%. While in the second meeting of cycle 1 there were 9 students who completed the reading comprehension with a percentage of 60% and there was an increase at the second meeting to 13 people with a percentage of 86,67%. Based on the results of this study, it shows that by applying the SSR learning technique it can improve the reading comprehension of grade 5 students at SDN 005 Binuang.

Abstract

The problem in this study originated from the low level of students' narrative essay writing skills in Indonesian language subjects at SDN 011 Langgini. One of the efforts made to overcome this problem is by applying the Round Table learning model.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Round Table learning model to improve narrative essay writing skills with the help of serial picture media.This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings and went through four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The subjects in this study were class IV students totaling 15 people, consisting of 12 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques include observation, tests and documentation.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the skill of writing narrative essays through the Round Table learning model for fourth grade students of SDN 011 Langgini has increased. In cycle I, the average student score reached 66.6 with a percentage of classical completeness of 60%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average score increased to 83.4 with classical learning completeness reaching 86.6%. Thus, the application of the Round Table learning model was proven to be able to improve the narrative essay writing skills of grade IV students at SDN 011 Langgini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of bullying on the emotional behavior of fourth-grade students at the UPT SD Negeri 013 Ganting. The research focuses on the impact of verbal, nonverbal, and physical bullying on students' emotional behavior. This study uses a qualitative method and a case study approach, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the homeroom teacher, one student who was a victim of bullying, and the victim's parents. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research shows that verbal bullying, such as teasing, insulting, and slandering, can lead to decreased self-confidence, feelings of shame, depression, and social withdrawal. Nonverbal bullying, such as threats, awkward behavior, and manipulative behavior, can lead to feelings of fear, anger, and discomfort in the classroom. Meanwhile, physical bullying, such as hitting and kicking, can cause victims to feel pain, trauma, and a reluctance to go to school. They may also exhibit changes in emotional behavior, such as becoming withdrawn and easily irritated. Overall, bullying significantly impacts students' emotional behavior, including decreased motivation to learn, feelings of depression, and difficulties socializing.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a problem encountered in the fifth grade of siabu state elementary school 010. Based on the results of written tests administered to fifth-grade students at siabu state elementary school 010 and interviews with the teacher, mrs. Elfitria, s.pd., it was found that the learning process had not utilized learning media optimally to support mathematics learning. So far, the learning process had been limited to explaining the material on the board, providing examples, and giving assignments. The learning process is quite good, but the use of learning media in mathematics is not yet optimal. This study aims to determine the efforts to describe the effect of using puzzles on students' conceptual understanding at the upt sd negeri 010 siabu. This study was conducted at the upt sd negeri 010 siabu in the 2025 academic year. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest. Where the sample consisted of an experimental class of 21 students and a control class of 21 students. Data analysis with hypothesis testing in this study was carried out using a two-way independent t-test formula (independent sample t-test). The results of this study obtained a significance value (sig) in the independent test table of 0.000 <0.050, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in conceptual understanding between students who learn using puzzles and students who learn using the ctl method. Thus, the use of puzzle learning media has a significant effect on improving students' conceptual understanding compared to ctl learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low results of improving students' reading aloud skills in Indonesian language lessons in grade 3 of UPT SD Negeri 014 kumantan. One solution to overcome this problem is to apply a phonetic learning model. The purpose of this study is to improve students' reading aloud skills in Indonesian language lessons. The learning model of this research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The time of the research was carried out in July 2025. The subjects of this study were 15 third grade students, or 6 boys and 9 girls. Data collection techniques were observation and documentation. The results of the study showed that using a phonetic learning model can improve students' reading aloud skills. This was shown before the research, students' reading aloud skills were 66.6%, then in cycle I meeting I still remained 66.6%, Cycle I meeting II increased to 73.3%. Furthermore, in Cycle II, meeting I, it increased to 80% and in Cycle II, meeting II, it increased to 93.3%. Thus, it can be concluded that using the phonetic learning model can improve students' reading aloud skills in Indonesian language learning at the UPT SD Negeri 014 Kumantan.

Abstract

This problem iss motivated by the low problem solving abilities of students in completing mathematics story promblems at SDM 002 Penyasawan, Kampar sub-district, Kampar district. One solution to overcome this problem is apply the Polya stage. The aim of this research is to describe the application of the Polya stages to improve problem solving abilities. This research method is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle concists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, reflection. And the implementation time is October 2025. The subjects of this research were 20 grade 5 students, consisting of 10 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques include observation sheets, tests, documentation. The result of the research can be concluded that the level of problem solving wuth the 5th grade the Polya stage at SDM 002 Penyasawan in cycle I is quite low with an average of 69. Furthermore, out of 20 students, only 12 students completed the classical completion with 60%. While in cycle II it was good enough with an average of 84.25 out of 20 students, only 2 students did not complete tthe classical completeness of 90%. Thus it can be concluded that using the Polya stages can improve the problem solving abilities of the grade 5 students at SDM 002 Penyaswan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 002 Penyasawan through the implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model. The background of this research stems from the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in Mathematics, as indicated by their limited ability to provide simple explanations, analyze information, and draw conclusions. Learning activities that remained teacher-centered caused students to become passive and unaccustomed to solving contextual problems. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 24 students. Data were collected through observation, critical thinking tests, and documentation, while the data analysis was carried out using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The RME model was implemented through contextual problem presentation, group discussions, horizontal and vertical mathematization processes, and joint conclusion-making. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills following the application of the RME model. In Cycle I, students’ mastery level had not yet reached the targeted criteria, with an average achievement of 54.16%, and many students still experienced difficulties in analyzing problems. After improvements were made in Cycle II, students’ critical thinking skills increased to 87.5%, successfully meeting the classical mastery criteria. Furthermore, students’ learning activities also improved, as reflected in their increased participation in discussions, confidence in expressing ideas, and ability to solve problems independently. In conclusion, the Realistic Mathematics Education model is effective in enhancing the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students, particularly in Mathematics learning based on contextual problem solving.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low mathematical communication skills of students in class V at SDN 007 Sipungguk. This research aims to improve students' mathematical communication skills using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos based on local wisdom in class V at SDN 007 Sipungguk. This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. The subjects in this research were 20 class V students at SDN 007 Sipungguk, consisting of 12 male students and 8 female students. This research instrument consists of interview sheets, teacher activity observation sheets and student activity observation sheets, test sheets, and documentation sheets. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in 2 cycles, in the first cycle of meeting 1 students who completed there were 10 students with a percentage of 50% with an overall average of 66 and at meeting 2 it rose to 13 students with a percentage of 65% with an overall average 67.25. Meanwhile, in cycle II, meeting 1, there were 16 students who completed it with a percentage of 80% with an overall average of 68.5, and there was an increase in meeting 2 to 18 students who completed it with a percentage of 90% with an overall average of 79.5. . Based on the results of this research, it shows that by implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning assisted by animated video media based on local wisdom, it can improve the mathematical communication skills of class V students at SDN 007 Sipungguk.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low critical thinking of mathematics students in grade 4. This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of grade 4 students of SDN 002 Pasir Sialang. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this study were all grade 4 students totaling 18 students. Data collection techniques in the form of interview techniques, observation, documentation and tests. While the data analysis technique used is a combination of qualitative data and quantitative data. Based on the results of research that has been carried out through 2 cycles, at meeting 1 of cycle I, there were 9 students who were complete with a percentage of 50% with an overall average of 69 and at meeting 2 it rose to 11 students with a percentage of 62% with an overall average of 77.83. Whereas in cycle II, meeting 1, there were 13 students who were complete with a percentage of 72% with an overall average of 80.05 and an increase at meeting 2 to 15 students with a percentage of 84% with an overall average of 84.55. Based on the results of this study, it shows that by applying the STEM approach, it can improve the critical thinking ability of mathematics class 4 students of SDN 002 Pasir Sialang.
