Abstract

Disaster management is a series of activities carried out in the context of prevention, mitigation, preparedness, emergency response and recovery efforts related to disasters. Disaster management is carried out with the aim of reducing losses and risks that may occur and speeding up the post-disaster recovery process. The implementation of disaster management is very necessary for the people of Cibenda Village because the village is located in a disaster-prone area. The target of this activity is the people of Cibenda Village and its surroundings. The methods used are interactive lectures, discussions and simulations as appropriate methods to provide understanding to the public. Meanwhile, location surveys are carried out to find out evacuation routes that can be used by the community when a disaster occurs. The output of this community service activity is a module for socializing the application of disaster management, scientific articles, as well as planning evacuation routes and handing over disaster evacuation tools.

Abstract

Secara eksplisit Stunting merupakan suatu kondisi gagal tumbuh pada bayi (0-11 bulan) dan anak balita (12-59 bulan) akibat kekurangan gizi kronis terutama pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. Secara umum kejadian stunting dapat disebabkan oleh pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak. Pola asuh ini meliputi sikap atau kebiasaan orang tua yang diterapkan dalam mengasuh dan membesarkan anak di rumah. Data Puskesmas Singaparna pada tahun 2021 mencapai 121 anak yang mengalami stunting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh ibu dengan kejadian stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Singaparna. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasional. Sampel sebanyak 85 orang diperoleh secara non-probability sampling dengan teknik sampling sistematik. Data diperoleh dengan kuesioner tertutup dan data dianalisis menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola asuh ibu sebagian besar termasuk kurang (41,2%) dan kejadian stunting sebagian besar adalah stunting (62,4%). Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan ada hubungan pola asuh ibu dengan kejadian stunting dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan kejadian stunting. Saran kepada lembaga pendidikan, puskesmas, dan ibu-ibu yang mempunyai balita hendaknya bersinergi dalam meningkatkan status gizi balita dimulai dari menambah wawasan atau pengetahuan akan pentingnya pola asuh yang baik guna menurunkan risiko terjadinya stunting

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has become an essential need to support efficiency in administration and learning processes. One of the solutions that can enhance efficiency in data management is the use of digital tools such as Google Forms. However, many educators and administrative staff have not fully understood how to use this tool. This study aims to improve the understanding and skills of the staff at MTsN 1 Tangerang Selatan in using Google Forms for data collection. The activity was conducted through a socialization session consisting of theory and hands-on practice. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and satisfaction surveys. The results showed that 87% of participants were able to independently create Google Forms after the training, with a satisfaction rate of 90%. However, some participants still faced difficulties with advanced settings, such as data analysis and notification settings. Based on these findings, it is recommended that further training be provided to deepen participants' understanding of Google Forms' advanced features. The use of Google Forms can improve the efficiency of data management in schools, but participants' readiness to adopt new technology still affects the effectiveness of the training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran IPS berbasis literasi digital untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 6 Ngunut. Jenis analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi adalah lima langkah model ADDIE, yang merupakan metodologi penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) yang digunakan. Siswa di kelas tersebut berperan sebagai subjek penelitian di kelas V yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Modul yang dikembangkan memanfaatkan teknologi digital dengan menyertakan materi interaktif, video pembelajaran, infografis, dan kuis daring untuk membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih mudah dan menarik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan seberapa baik kurikulum yang berfokus pada literasi digital ini meningkatkan antusiasme siswa untuk belajar dan tingkat kreativitas mereka. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh reaksi positif siswa terhadap penggunaan modul dan hasil pasca-tes mereka, yang meningkat jika dibandingkan dengan pra-tes. Siswa juga menunjukkan kegembiraan saat mengerjakan tugas-tugas kreatif seperti membuat peta konsep digital dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi daring. Penelitian data juga mengungkapkan bahwa setelah menggunakan modul, motivasi siswa untuk belajar meningkat secara nyata. Studi ini sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa modul pembelajaran berbasis literasi digital dapat menjadi pengganti yang kreatif untuk pengajaran studi sosial tradisional. Guru harus dapat menggunakan modul ini sebagai alat pengajaran interaktif, dan untuk hasil terbaik, sekolah harus mendorong siswa untuk menggunakan teknologi.

Abstract

This study explores Indonesia’s interest in joining BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) and evaluates the economic, geopolitical, and strategic implications of its potential membership. Employing a qualitative methodology, the study examines Indonesia’s motivations for aligning with BRICS and assesses the challenges of maintaining balanced foreign relations with both BRICS nations and Western allies. The findings indicate that Indonesia views BRICS membership as a means to diversify economic partnerships, access alternative financial mechanisms, and enhance its influence in global governance. However, membership also poses risks, including potential diplomatic tensions with Western powers and challenges to Indonesia’s traditional “bebas aktif” (independent and active) foreign policy. The study further explores the regional implications of Indonesia’s BRICS membership, particularly in ASEAN, and considers whether Indonesia could serve as a diplomatic bridge between BRICS and Western-led institutions. While BRICS offers Indonesia economic and political opportunities, the study highlights the complexities of navigating global power shifts in an increasingly multipolar world. Ultimately, Indonesia's decision on BRICS membership will reflect its broader strategy for balancing national interests, economic pragmatism, and geopolitical alignment in a rapidly evolving global order.

Abstract

Competition in the digital era makes students compete to create jobs in order to reduce unemployment. By paying attention to several factors in the surrounding environment. Examining students of the Faculty of Economics who majored in Management. The purpose of this study is to find out about the factors that influence entrepreneurial interest in students of the Faculty of Economics, Tulungagung University. This study uses Quantitative research methods. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics, Tulungagung University, Class of 2020. The sampling technique used was Purposive Random Sampling with a sample of 76 students. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires, and data processing using the SPSS 26.0 program application. The variables of this study are entrepreneurial knowledge, motivation, personality and family environment on entrepreneurial interest with Multiple Linear Regression analysis techniques.

Abstract

This study critically examines the complex relationship between mass media consumption and political literacy in Indonesia as the nation approached its 2024 general election. Employing a qualitative research methodology analysing high-quality secondary data from multiple sources, the study investigates how various media platforms influence citizens' political knowledge, critical thinking skills, and electoral participation readiness. Research findings reveal significant disparities in political literacy across demographic groups, with digital divides reinforcing information asymmetries between urban and rural populations. Social media emerged as a dominant information source for 68% of voters, yet 73% of respondents demonstrated limited ability to identify misinformation. Traditional media retained significant influence among older voters (65+ demographic), while digital platforms dominated youth engagement. The study identified five prevailing patterns of media-influenced political literacy: platform-dependent knowledge variation, algorithmic reinforcement of political polarization, diminished substantive policy discourse, widespread circulation of electoral misinformation, and variable media literacy skills across demographic segments. These dynamics created a fragmented information ecosystem where political literacy was undermined by information overload, partisan media consumption, and digital platform manipulation. The research contributes to media effects theory by proposing a contextually sensitive integrated framework of political literacy development specific to emerging democracies navigating digital transformation. The study recommends coordinated multi-stakeholder approaches to political literacy enhancement, emphasizing critical media consumption skills, platform accountability, and civic education initiatives tailored to Indonesia's unique socio-political context.

Abstract

Digital transformation in health education opens up innovative opportunities to improve clean and healthy living behavior skills in the adolescent population. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of education through digital media in improving clean and healthy living behavior skills in guidance studio students in Malaysia. The research method uses a mixed-method approach with a participatory action research design that integrates cooperative learning as the main strategy. The subjects of the study involved 32 students of Sanggar Bimbingan Kampung Pandan Malaysia consisting of 18 male students and 14 female students with an age range of 12-16 years. The intervention was carried out for 12 weeks using the "PHBS Digital Learning" application platform that integrates interactive multimedia features, quizzes, virtual simulations, and group discussion forums. Data collection was carried out through validated pre-test and post-test instruments with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.847. The results showed a significant increase in the composite knowledge score of 56.0% with a very large effect size (Cohen's d = 4.22), while practical skills increased by an average of 63.2% across all indicators. The digital platform facilitated 847 discussion posts with high engagement levels, reaching an average usage duration of 47.3 minutes per session. The transformation of student attitudes experienced a substantial increase from an average score of 2.3 to 4.2 on a scale of 1-5, with behavioral sustainability maintained by up to 78.1% of students in the follow-up evaluation. This study proves that digital media has high effectiveness in improving clean and healthy living behavior skills through the integration of cooperative learning and digital technology that creates a comprehensive and sustainable learning ecosystem.

Abstract

This article critically evaluates the capacity of the United Nations (UN) to respond to genocide allegations in the Gaza Strip during the 2023–2025 period. Amid escalating civilian casualties, systemic infrastructure destruction, and diplomatic polarization, the UN's performance has come under scrutiny for its apparent institutional paralysis and failure to uphold its core mandate under the Genocide Convention and the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) doctrine. Through a qualitative analysis of peer-reviewed literature, UN records, and secondary legal data, this study uncovers three interlocking causes of failure: (1) structural limitations of the Security Council, especially the abuse of veto power by permanent members; (2) selective humanitarianism and geopolitical bias that shape legal interpretation and operational prioritization; and (3) institutional dissonance between fact-finding bodies and enforcement arms within the UN system. The results show that the UN's fragmented and inconsistent response to the Gaza crisis undermines the legitimacy of international legal norms, particularly when compared with its swift and unified response to the war in Ukraine. The study also introduces two novel conceptual tools—procedural latency and diplomatic shielding—to describe the bureaucratic and political mechanisms that inhibit timely action. Policy recommendations include structural reforms to the veto system, enhanced integration between the UNHRC and ICC, and the decentralization of atrocity verification. Without these changes, the UN risks further erosion of its normative authority and global relevance. The Gaza case thus serves as a sobering diagnostic of institutional failure—and an urgent call for global governance reform.

Abstract

Imunisasi dasar merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian pada bayi. Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap tercapai apabila bayi telah mendapatkan imunisasi terhadap penyakit Hepatitis B, Poliomyelitis, Tuberkulosis, Difteri, Pertusis, Tetanus, Pneumonia dan Meningitis yang disebabkan oleh Hemophilus Influenza tipe B (HiB), dan Campak. Kegiatan Penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang imunisasi dasar lengkap di posyandu cicantel 2 Kecamatan Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penyuluhan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Pesertanya adalah ibu bayi sebanyak 24 orang. Hasilnya adalah adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan ibu bayi terhadap imunisasi dasar lengkap yang diukur dari hasil pemberian pre test dan post test.
