Abstract

This study addresses the suboptimal performance of teachers, which is influenced by the leadership style of school principals and the organizational culture within educational institutions. Effective leadership is essential, as principals should act as facilitators, motivators, and role models for their subordinates, fostering a positive work environment. This research aims to examine (1) the impact of leadership style on teacher performance, (2) the effect of organizational culture on teacher performance, and (3) the combined influence of leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance in Islamic Boarding Schools in Southeast Aceh Regency. Using an ex-post facto research design, the study involved a population of 110 teachers from three Islamic Boarding Schools: Darul Azhar, Darul Iman, and Darul Amin. Saturated sampling was applied, including all members of the population. The findings show that (1) leadership style significantly and positively affects teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, (2) organizational culture also positively and significantly influences teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.00 < 0.05, and (3) both leadership style and organizational culture together contribute significantly to teacher performance, accounting for 98.8% of the variance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak minat terhadap K-pop terhadap karakter sosial siswa dan bagaimana pengaruh tersebut diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat terhadap K-pop membawa dampak positif dan negatif terhadap karakter sosial siswa. Dampak positif mencakup peningkatan empati dan kepedulian sosial, pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi dan kerja sama, peningkatan rasa kepemilikan dan identitas sosial, serta peningkatan keterlibatan sosial dan ekstrakurikuler. Siswa yang aktif dalam komunitas K-pop menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam mendukung dan memahami teman-teman mereka, berkomunikasi secara efektif, bekerja sama dalam tim, dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial di sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) planning for the implementation of the concept of independence in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. (2) implementation of the concept of independence in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. (3) evaluation of the implementation of the concept of independence in social sciences subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. This research uses a qualitative approach with naturalistic methods, and the sample collection technique is carried out through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses, (1) Credibility Test, (2) Transferability Test, (3) Dependability Test, (4) Corfirmability Test. The results of this research show: (1) Planning for the implementation of the independent learning concept in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is going quite well. This is proven by providing outreach and training, creating learning tools, and conducting evaluations on teachers to ensure whether teachers are ready or not to implement the independent curriculum. (2) The implementation of the Independent Learning Concept at MTs Negeri 2 Medan was carried out quite well. Even though not all learning implementations are in accordance with the modules that have been created, this is because the independent curriculum is still very newly implemented at MTs Negeri 2 Medan, but the social studies teachers are quite creative and differentiated in making variations in teaching which makes students active, creative and critical. (3) Evaluation of the concept of independent learning in social studies subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is going quite well as evidenced by data showing student scores above average based on the Learning Goal Achievement Kit (KKTP) at MTs Negeri 2 Medan.

Abstract

Minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPS masih rendah dikarenakan beberapa factor diantaranya model pembelajaran yang kurang menarik, dan kurangnya kerukunan antar siswa menyebabkan rendahnya minat belajar. Sistuasi ini menuntut inovasi dalam metode pengajaran.Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut adalah model pembelajaran cooperative learning Tipe STAD.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran IPS dikelas VII-1 di SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan; (2) mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan; dan (3) mengetahui apa saja tantangan yang dihadapi guru saat menerapkan model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe STAD pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 2 Rantau Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : proses pembelajaran IPS dikelas VII-1 menggunakan ceramah dan model cooperative learning tipe STAD, meskipun penerapan nya sedikit berbeda dengan yang semestinya. Akan tetapi model pembelajaran STAD ini tetap berhasil menarik minat belajar siswa karena berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan karena siswa terlihat lebih senang, aktif dan tidak mengantuk mengikuti pelajaran IPS. Tantangan utama adalah waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pembentukan kelompok dan presentasi kelompok.

Abstract

Research on the influence of the Team Quiz learning strategy on student learning outcomes aims to describe the learning outcomes of class VII MTS Islamic Education Development Foundation (YAPDI) Medan and describe the influence of the Team Quiz learning model on student learning outcomes. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant effect of using the Team Quiz learning model on student learning outcomes in the History subject in class VII MTs Islamic Education Development Foundation. Apart from that, looking at the average scores that have been obtained, it is known that students who study using the Team Quiz model have good learning outcomes with scores compared to students who study using the conventional model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) To find out learning outcomes before using Student Facilitator And Explaining learning at MTsN 1 Bener Meriah. 2) To find out the learning results after using the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning at MTsN 1 Bener Meriah. 3) To find out whether there is a significant influence after using Student Facilitator And Explaining learning on social studies learning outcomes at MTsN Bener Meriah. The research used was quantitative research with an experimental method approach and the population and sample in this research were students at MTsN 1 Bener Meriah in class VIII-1 totaling 30 students and VIII-4 totaling 28 students. Based on the analysis of the data obtained: 1) the social studies learning results of class VIII MTsN 1 Bener Meriah students show an average score of 40.50, while in the control class the average score is 37.14. 2) The social studies learning results of class VIII MTsN 1 Bener Meriah students obtained an average score of 70.70. Have good learning outcomes. 3) through the results of hypothesis testing, the tcount was 9.457 and the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence from Student Facilitator And Explaining learning on the learning outcomes of students in social studies subjects in class VIII MTsN 1 which are truly cheerful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Tingkat Kecemasan Siswa Sebelum diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT. 2) Tingkat Kecemasan Siswa Setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT. 3) Efektivitas layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT untuk menurunkan kecemasan siswa menghadapi pembelajaran daring. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif metode eksperimen Quasi Experimental Design menggunakan Nonequivalente control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 siswa kelas XII TKJ2 SMKN 1 Batang Angkola yang dibagi atas 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest siswa. Data hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t dengan Independent Sample T-test, untuk pengujian tingkat efektivitas layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT menggunakan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Tingkat Kecemasan Siswa Sebelum diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 57,71 pada kategori Tinggi. 2) Tingkat Kecemasan Siswa Setelah diberikan layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 78.00 pada kategori sedang. 3) Layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan siswa menghadapi pembelajaran daring hal ini dilihat dari Hasil Uji Independent Sample t Test menghasilkan nilai thitung> ttabel yang mana (11.001> 2.0595). Jika dilihat dari nilai N-Gain 0.3 maka tingkat efektivitas dari layanan konseling kelompok teknik REBT berada pada kategori Sedang.

Abstract

The principal, as a leader, must possess several abilities, including personal skills, knowledge of educational staff, the school's vision and mission, decision-making abilities, and communication skills. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. For data analysis, the study employs the analysis framework by Huberman and Miles, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is ensured through Lincoln and Guba's criteria, including credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings of this study show that: 1). The strategy of the principal at SD IT Roudhotul Ilmi Anshor in preparing teacher professionalism involves examining and assessing teachers' competency levels, providing guidance and motivation, offering opportunities, conducting evaluations, and giving rewards to teachers. 2). The principal's performance in preparing teacher professionalism is evaluated based on several competencies, including personality competence, managerial competence, entrepreneurial competence, supervisory competence, and social competence. 3). An effective strategy for the principal in preparing teacher professionalism involves closely observing teachers' abilities, providing guidance and motivation, offering opportunities and training, conducting evaluations, and giving rewards to teachers.

Penelitian ini hadir untuk memberikan informasi yang lebih luas dan mendalam tentang: 1) mengetahui kompetensi kerja lulusan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan di dunia kerja, 2) mengetahui kompetensi pengetahuan lulusan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan di dunia kerja, 3) mengetahui kompetensi manajerial lulusan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan di dunia kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa: 1) kompetensi kerja lulusan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan didunia kerja sangat memuaskan pengguna lulusan. Secara kuantitatif berada pada angka 90, 2) kompetensi pengetahuan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan didunia kerja sangat memuaskan pengguna lulusan. Secara kuantitatif berada pada angka 95, 3) kompetensi manajerial lulusan alumni prodi magister MPI FITK UINSU Medan didunia kerja sangat memuaskan pengguna lulusan. Secara kuantitatif berada pada angka 90.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors influencing the disclosure of Key Audit Matters (KAM) in audit reports, using the Audit Expectation Gap Theory as a theoretical framework. Based on a literature review of 15 articles published between 2020 and 2025, it was found that factors such as company characteristics (size and complexity), auditor characteristics (experience and specialization), and corporate governance significantly influence the quality and quantity of Key Audit Matters disclosure. Larger and more complex companies tend to disclose more Key Audit Matters, while auditors from large firms provide more detailed disclosures. Furthermore, disclosures that are too generic or use overly formal and non-specific language risk exacerbating the expectation gap. Therefore, it is essential for regulators and auditors to continually improve guidelines and evaluate the implementation of Key Audit Matters to meet transparency and accountability goals.
