Abstract

One of the cities in East Java Province is Malang City, which offers a number of tourist destinations, including Kajoetangan Village, Arema Blue Village, Jodipan Colorful Village, Malang Square, and Malang Monument. Of the many tourist attractions available, Kampoeng Kajoetangan is one of the new tourist attractions that requires identity branding. The purpose of creating identity branding is to introduce these tourist attractions to the wider community or tourists, give them their own identity, and be a differentiator from other tourist attractions. Kampoeng Wisata Heritage Kajoetangan Malang is one of the cultural tourism villages that, with its characteristics, has Dutch architectural houses as well as religious cemeteries and culinary tours. The results of this study indicate that the identity branding of Kampoeng Wisata Heritage Kajoetangan is generally applied to almost all of them. A brand as a product has components that form a brand identity, including attractions, facilities and infrastructure, transportation, culinary, and religious tourism. Brand as organization has several components, including institutions, which include government, pokdarwis, society, and culture. A person's brand has several components, including managers and pokdarwis themselves. Brand as a symbol, which has several components, including a logo, brand name, tagline, and also a brand story. Abstrak Salah satu kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur adalah Kota Malang yang menawarkan sejumlah destinasi wisata, antara lain Kampung Kajoetangan, Kampung Biru Arema, Kampung Warna-Warni Jodipan, Alun-Alun Malang, dan Tugu Malang. Dari sekian banyak tempat wisata yang tersedia, Kampoeng Kajoetangan tersebut merupakan salah satu tempat wisata baru yang membutuhkan adanya branding identitas. Tujuan dari membuat branding identitas tersebut untuk memperkenalkan tempat wisata tersebut ke masyarakat luas atau wisatawan serta mempunyai identitas sendiri dan menjadi pembeda dengan tempat wisata lainnya. Kampoeng Wisata Heritage Kajoetangan Malang merupakan salah satu kampung wisata budaya yang dengan ciri khas mempunyai rumah berarsitektur Belanda dan juga Makam Religi dan wisata Kuliner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa branding identitas Kampoeng Wisata Heritage Kajoetangan pada umumnya hampir diterapkan semuanya. Brand as product memiliki komponen-komponen yang membentuk brand identitas diantaranya atraksi,fasilitas dan infrastruktur, transportasi, kuliner dan wisata religi. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan teknologi pada era revolusi industri 4.0 belum dapat diantisipasi sepenuhnya oleh para guru ekonomi SMA se-Kota Surabaya. Hal ini berdampak pada penerapan asesmen kurikulum merdeka yang belum optimal. Para guru ekonomi di Kota Surabaya masih banyak menggunakan instrumen paper-based test dan LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills). Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan penilaian hasil belajar yang relevan saat ini yaitu dengan menggunakan instrumen soal HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) dan asesmen digital, perlu diadakan pelatihan pengembangan asesmen digital berbasis HOTS pada kurikulum merdeka.Melalui rangkaian pelatihan mulai dari pemaparan materi, pendampingan hingga pembuatan draft asesmen digital, sebanyak 76% peserta menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa kegiatan pelatihan memberikan manfaat bagi peserta. Kemudian, sebanyak 83% peserta menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa pelatihan tersebut dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai asesmen kurikulum merdeka berbasis HOTS. Sementara 94% peserta menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa pelatihan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam membuat asesmen digital. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun asesmen digital berbasis HOTS. Para peserta mengharapkan adanya pelatihan berkesinambungan seperti pelatihan penyusunan soal AKM (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum) dan modul ajar berbasis digital pada kurikulum merdeka untuk meningkatkan keterampilan. Kata kunci: asesmen digital; HOTS; guru ekonomi SMA Kota Surabaya; pelatihan ABSTRACTThe use of technology in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 cannot be fully anticipated by high school economics teachers throughout the city of Surabaya. This has an impact on the implementation of the independent curriculum assessment which is not yet optimal. Economics teachers in the city of Surabaya still use many paper-based test instruments and LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills). To improve current relevant learning outcome assessment skills, namely by using HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) question instruments and digital assessments, it is necessary to hold training on developing HOTS-based digital assessments in the independent curriculum. Through a series of training ranging from material presentation, mentoring to drafting digital assessment, as many as 76% of participants stated that they strongly agreed that training activities provided benefits for participants. Then, as many as 83% of participants stated that they strongly agreed that the training could increase knowledge regarding HOTS-based independent curriculum assessments. Meanwhile, 94% of participants strongly agreed that training could improve skills in making digital assessments. So it can be concluded that training activities are able to increase participants' knowledge and skills in preparing HOTS-based digital assessments. The participants expect continuous training such as training on preparing AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) questions and digital-based teaching modules in the independent curriculum to improve skills. Keywords: digital assessment; HOTS; economics teachers at Surabaya high school; training

Abstract

Data Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah di Kabupaten Demak pada tahun 2024 sebanyak 13.027. Ini merupakah jumlah yang sangat besar dan perlu mendapatkan pembinaan khususnya terhadap mitigasi dan pengelolaan risiko. Hasil literasi dan pendampingan dari total 22 karyawan ternyata belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan tentang pengelolaan risiko usaha. Kegiatan pengabdi dilakukan dengan pendampingan mitigasi risiko bagi UMKM Aneka Jaya Snak untuk mengidentifikasi lebih dini, merancang penerapan manajemen risiko yang cocok, mengetahui kriteria manajemen risiko, mengetahui dampak risiko yang ditimbulkan serta merancang mengakanisme pengukuran risiko. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research), langkahnya mulai dari persiapan, sosialisasi, pendampingan pada UMKM. Dengan adanya pendampingan UMKM bisa memahami pentingnya pengelolaan risiko dalam kegiatan kerja. Pengelolaan risiko dilakukan supaya memberikan dampak khususnya untuk keberlangsungan kegiatan kerja, antisipasi sejak dini serta keputusan untuk penanganan risiko bisa diambil dan disesuaikan dengan resiko yang ada. Serta bisa memiliki pemahaman yang lebih sehingga para karyawan mampu bekerja dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Integration of turāth thought as the foundation of contemporary character education through a study of the concepts of adab, spirituality, and character formation in the monumental works of classical scholars. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a library research design and hermeneutic content analysis of primary texts including Ta'lim al-Muta'allim (Az-Zarnuji), Ayyuha al-Walad (Al-Ghazali), and Al-Muqaddimah (Ibn Khaldun), as well as relevant secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that turāth offers a holistic pedagogical-therapeutic framework by emphasizing the integration of intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions. Az-Zarnuji's concept of adab places ethics as the foundation of academic success; Al-Ghazali's thoughts on tazkiyah al-nafs provide a character formation model based on heart therapy (takhliyah-tahliyah); while Ibn Khaldun offers an educational paradigm based on social reality ('umrān and 'asabiyyah). Contextualization of turāth through the Maqāṣid al-Syarī'ah, historical-critical, and digitalization approaches produces contemporary learning models such as Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and ServiceLearning that are relevant to the needs of modern Islamic education. Therefore, the integration of turāth is able to address the character crisis and loss of spiritual meaning in contemporary education, while also offering solutions to develop an Islamic education system that is scientific, meaningful, and oriented towards the formation of perfect human beings.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian Masyarakat (Pengmas) ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam kemampuan menyusun bahan ajar. Nilai-nilai yang ingin kami berikan kepada objek CS antara lain dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar yang berkualitas dan mempublikasikan bahan ajar ke website sebagai bentuk Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan (PKB) bagi para guru di Subject Teacher Consultation (STC) Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial SMP lingkup Kota Tarakan. Sasaran ditujukan kepada guru-guru IPS SMP di Kota Tarakan, dengan metode pelaksanaan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar dan teknis publikasi materi ke website pribadi. Luaran untuk mengevaluasi perkembangan kemampuan peserta dapat dilihat dari hasil bahan ajar yang berhasil disusun peserta dan kemampuan peserta dalam mempublikasikan dan mengelola website masing-masing. Hasil dari pelatihan yang telah dijalankan menunjukkan bahwa dari 15 peserta, 11 peserta telah berhasil mengumpulkan bahan ajar berbasis website, meskipun hanya terdapat 2 peserta yang memenuhi seluruh kriteria yang ditetapkan. Tantangan seperti gangguan teknis, keterbatasan waktu, dan kurangnya keterampilan IT juga memengaruhi kualitas pengumpulan materi. Namun, secara umum pelatihan ini cukup efektif, terbukti dengan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta yang signifikan, di mana skor post-test memiliki nilai rataan yang meningkat sebesar 33% dari skor pre-test. Kata kunci: pengajaran; materi; websites; guru. Abstract This Community Service (CS) is carried out to improve teacher skills in the ability to prepare teaching materials. Values that we want to give to CS objects include being able to develop quality teaching materials and publish materials to the website as a form of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for teachers in the Subject Teacher Consultation (STC) Social Science Junior High School Tarakan City scope. The objective is aimed at social studies teachers at Junior High School in Tarakan City, with the implementation method through training and assistance in preparing teaching materials and technically publishing the material to a personal website. Outcomes to evaluate the development of participants' abilities can be seen from the results of teaching materials that participants have successfully compiled and the ability of participants to publish and manage their respective websites. The results of the training showed that out of 15 participants, 11 participants had successfully collected web-based teaching materials, although only 2 participants fulfilled all the criteria. Challenges such as technical glitches, time constraints, and lack of IT skills also affected the quality of the materials. However, in general, the training was quite effective, as evidenced by the significant increase in participants' knowledge, where the post-test score had an average value that increased by 33% from the pre-test score. Keywords: teaching; materials; website; teachers

Abstract

Objective: The low quality of education in Indonesia ranks 12th out of 12 countries in Asia according to a survey by PERC, and East Java Province is still below the mandatory 9-year education standard based on data from BPS of 8.69 years in 2024. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and poverty levels on the average length of schooling in East Java Province during the period 2015–2024. Method: The method used in this study is multiple linear regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis through SPSS to see the relationship between the two economic variables and the community's educational attainment. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency, which covers regional educational development and economic conditions.  Results: The results show that GRDP and poverty levels simultaneously have a significant effect on average length of schooling, with an explanatory contribution of 76%. However, partially, both variables have a negative effect, indicating that economic growth is not yet evenly distributed and poverty remains an obstacle to improving education. This study is expected to provide input for local governments in formulating policies to improve the quality of education. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in the analysis of the partial and simultaneous effects of two major economic factors on education indicators at the regional level, which has not been empirically studied much previously. Therefore, this study supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities.

Abstract

Objective: West Papua, despite its rich natural resources, continues to experience a gap between economic growth and community welfare, as the quality of life of its residents has not fully improved. This study aims to analyze the effect of the open unemployment rate (OUR) and poverty rate on the Human Development Index (HDI) in West Papua Province during 2015–2024. Method: This research uses secondary data obtained from the West Papua Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics software to test both partial and simultaneous effects. Results: The t-test results show that the open unemployment rate has a positive but insignificant effect on HDI (sig. 0.928 > 0.05), while the poverty rate has a negative and significant effect (sig. 0.001 < 0.05). The F-test confirms a significant simultaneous effect (F count = 16.042; sig. 0.002). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.821 indicates that 82.1% of HDI variation is influenced by OUR and poverty, while the remaining 17.9% is affected by other factors. These findings show that poverty is the most dominant factor influencing human development in West Papua. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in its empirical focus on an under-researched region and its contribution to integrating local development issues with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) framework, particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), offering valuable insights for inclusive policy formulation.

Abstract

Background: Salah satu tantangan di bidang pendidikan ialah rendahnya kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan guru mengenai implementasi pendekatan deep learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Metode: Metode yang digunakan ialah pelatihan serta pendampingan bagi guru Ekonomi dalam mengimplemengtasikan pendekatan deep learning. Hasil: Pelatihan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan yang dilakukan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan deep learning. Kesimpulan: Pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan pendekatan deep learning membantu guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Namun, pelatihan ini masih terbatas pada lingkup guru Ekonomi di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Sehingga, untuk pelatihan berikutnya diharapkan mampu menjangkau peserta dengan lingkup yang lebih luas.
