Abstract

This study aims to identify online learning activities where students can access learning as an effort to support government programs, namely study from home during the Covid 19 pandemic and student responses to learning media used during online learning. The research method in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study were students of class XI MIPA in SMA Biringkanayya District, Makassar City, namely SMAN 22 Makassar, SMAN 18 Makassar and SMAN 15 Makassar as many as 595 students. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 each in SMA Biringkanayya District, Makassar City. The research instrument in this study is a questionnaire in the form of a Google form. Research data obtained by distributing questionnaires in the form of Google forms, and interviews. Based on the results of the study, that online media learning has four indicators, namely understanding the material online, learning time, being able to focus attention, and enthusiasm in participating in effective lessons during the Covid 19 pandemic in Biology subjects at SMA Biringkanayya District, Makassar City. The most effective online learning media used during online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic in Biology subjects at Biringkanayya High School Makassar City are SMAN 22 Makassar using Google Classroom, SMAN 18 Makassar Zoom Meeting and SMAN 15 Makassar Google Classroom.

Abstract

This research to describe problem solving skills on the biology subject of SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo students during the pandemic Covid-19. Descriptive research with this survey method uses the sampling is simple random sampling. Research subjects in research these are students of class X MIPA which consists of 5 classes and each class represented by 11 people, so the research subjects amounted to 55 people. Collecting data in this study using skills test questions essay problem solving, structured interview with eye teacher biology lessons and documentation of lesson plans and questions used by teachers which aims to serve as information supporting research results. Result data the study was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis for describe students' problem solving skills, as well as analysis using the excel program to calculate the average of each indicator problem solving skills . The results showed that the four indicator of problem solving skills the highest percentage obtained indicator planning problem solving 60.45%; and lowest percentage indicator that is solving the problem 32.95%. Overall skill problem solving for SMA Negeri 1 Wonomulyo students is in the less category with an average of 48.52

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scientific literacy ability of students in biology learning at SMAN 1 Bone. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method. The population of this research is all students of MIPA class at SMAN 1 Bone. The research sample was 102 class XII students with jenuh sampling technique of determining the sample. The data collection technique was in the form of multiple choice test questions for students' scientific literacy skills with a total of 30 questions. Based on the research that has been carried out on SMAN 1 Bone students, it can be concluded that the highest scientific literacy ability of SMAN 1 Bone students is in the medium category with the correct percentage of 77.4%. This means that some students in Bone Regency are able to think rationally and scientifically to solve a problem at hand. this indicates that some students have understood in managing their knowledge to solve various problems by making decisions based on scientific considerations

Abstract

The booklet on the diversity of species of magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class of angiosperm plants is one of the learning resources that can be used to help students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop a booklet as a valid learning resource for class X high school plantae material. This research was conducted at the Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which has five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product development begins with designing a booklet on the Canva application and then printing it for further evaluation by expert validators. The results showed that the developed booklet had a validity level of 4.67. So it can be concluded that the magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class diversity booklet of angiosperm plant species as a source of biology learning material for class X high school plantae is very valid.
