Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the ability to recognize the numbers of group B children in Kober Bina Bangsa has not been achieved. Researchers used movement and song methods to solve the problem of recognizing numbers in group B children at the institution. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the number recognition ability of group B children in Kober Bina Bangsa by using movement and song methods. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK). Classroom action research is research used by teachers in their own classes through self-reflection with the aim of improving their performance as teachers so that children's learning outcomes improve. The subjects of this research were eight children from group B in Kober Bina Bangsa, consisting of three girls and five boys. The data collection technique in this research is observation. Data analysis used qualitative analysis. The steps in this research are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The conclusion of this research is that, at the pre-cycle stage, children's ability to recognize numbers had not yet reached the very well developed (BSB) category, whereas after the actions in cycle 1 and cycle 2, children's ability to recognize numbers increased and 7 children reached the very well developed (BSB) category.

Abstract

Gelarwangi Village has sufficient potential in the field of aquaculture, for example, there is a lot of land that can be used as a fish pond with a water source that flows directly from the mountain. However, the lack of available human resources means that activities in this field do not run well. Apart from that, the lack of knowledge regarding aspects of cultivation is a fear for people to start moving in this field. The community empowerment activities in Gelarwangi Village through pomfret cultivation activities have several challenges that must be faced, such as the condition of the community which has difficulty buying fish food which can cause productivity to be less than optimal, the use of alternative feed that is not good and not suitable, production results that are difficult for the market to absorb. , fish prices tend to fluctuate, lack of public knowledge regarding three aspects of cultivation, such as hatching, nursery and enlargement, lack of understanding regarding feed nutrition, fish health, the environment and good cultivation methods. This activity will be carried out in Mei 2025 in Gelarwangi Village, Cidaun District, Cianjur Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore community economic empowerment. The case study method was chosen for its ability to provide an in-depth investigation of program dynamics, with a focus on experiences and wider impacts on local communities. Data was obtained using semi-structured interviews, document studies and field observations. The costs for pomfret cultivation activities are incurred by the village government with the aim of generating high income for the business carried out. The cost components incurred are fixed costs and variable costs, where fixed costs are around IDR 300.000,00 per month and variable costs are around IDR 500.000,00 The average amount of income received is around 17 million rupiah per group. And per person it is around IDR 560.000,00. Based on the research and analysis carried out, it was concluded that the average amount of income received in the 4 month production period was IDR 17.000.000,00, so that with this the community's economy, especially the Gentra Parahiangan Art Group, increased further.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul “Pelatihan Teknologi untuk Keluarga: Meningkatkan Keterlibatan Ayah dalam Pendidikan Anak dengan Bantuan Google Site PELAMORING (Pelatihan Model Fathering)” dilaksanakan sebagai upaya menjawab permasalahan rendahnya keterlibatan ayah dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di Kabupaten Garut. Kegiatan ini dirancang dalam bentuk pelatihan selama tiga hari yang diikuti oleh guru PAUD. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan konsep keterlibatan ayah dalam pendidikan anak, pendampingan pemanfaatan Google Site PELAMORING sebagai media pembelajaran keluarga, serta praktik langsung mengakses dan menggunakan fitur-fitur dalam website tersebut. Selama pelaksanaan, peserta menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, terlihat dari partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi dan latihan praktik. Proses evaluasi dilakukan melalui post-test, refleksi peserta, serta monitoring berkelanjutan dengan mendampingi guru dalam menyampaikan materi kepada ayah. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan, di mana keterlibatan ayah dalam pendidikan anak meningkat hingga 75%. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya berhasil memperkenalkan inovasi teknologi berbasis keluarga, tetapi juga memberikan dampak nyata dalam memperkuat peran ayah dalam pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Conceptual understanding is a crucial skill in mathematics learning, particularly in multiplication at the elementary school level. However, in practice, many students still struggle to fully comprehend the meaning of multiplication. This study aims to develop and examine the effectiveness of a digital comic based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach as an instructional medium to improve students’ conceptual understanding of multiplication. The research employed a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pretest-posttest approach involving 20 second-grade elementary students. Data were collected through conceptual understanding tests administered before and after the intervention. Data analysis included normality testing and paired sample t-test. The findings indicate a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with an average N-Gain of 0.43, categorized as moderate. These results suggest that CTL-based digital comics are effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding of multiplication. This innovation supports meaningful and engaging learning, aligned with the characteristics of 21st-century learners.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini karena masih rendahnya kemampuan motorik halus anak dan media pembelajaran yang disajikan oleh guru kurang menarik, maka diperlukan media yang tepat dalam menstimulus kemampuan motorik halus anak, yaitu menggunakan media meronce bahan alam. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui metode pembelajaran meronce bahan alam dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan referensi model yang digunakan dari kemmis dan MC Taggrat. Alur penelitian yaitu tahap rancangan, penentuan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan subjek penelitian anak usia 5-6 tahun dari TK Melati yang berjumlah 16 anak yang terdiri dari enam perempuan dan sepuluh laki-laki. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif jenis statistika deskriptif, disajikan dengan nilai persentase. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak pada siklus berada 15% anak yang mencapai kategori berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH0. Setelah adanya tindakanpada siklus 1 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 21% dengan kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Pada Siklus II terjadi peningkatan signifikan yaitu 81% dengan kategori Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB), 19% mencapai kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan 0% Kategori Mulai Berembag (MB).   The low fine motor skills observed in children and the lack of engaging learning media provided by teachers motivate this research. To address these issues, appropriate media are required to stimulate fine motor development, specifically through the use of natural material stringing activities. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of stringing natural materials as a learning method to improve fine motor skills in early childhood. The methodology employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR), following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included 16 children aged 5–6 years at Melati Kindergarten, comprising six girls and ten boys. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and presented as percentages. Preliminary results showed that only 15% of the children reached the "Developing as Expected" category. After the intervention in Cycle I, this figure increased to 21%. By Cycle II, a significant improvement was observed: 81% of the children reached the "Developing Very Well" category, 19% achieved the "Developing as Expected" category, and 0% remained in the "Starting to Develop" category. It is concluded that the use of natural material stringing media effectively enhances the fine motor skills of children at Melati Kindergarten.
