Abstract

Hospitals must continuously evolve in response to dynamic environments and rapidly changing demands. Digital transformation plays a pivotal role in reducing costs, increasing speed and transparency, and enhancing productivity and efficiency; however, it simultaneously introduces substantial organizational risks. Frameworks and tools are therefore essential to support organizations in navigating such profound transitions. Digital maturity assessment constitutes a critical preliminary stage for any digital transformation initiative, enabling both public and private healthcare institutions to determine their level of digital maturity and establish a foundation for subsequent transformation efforts. This study aims to identify and describe the dimensions applied in digital maturity assessments within hospitals. The research employed a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed publications from 2020 to 2024, examining maturity models designed to evaluate hospital digital maturity. A total of 29 relevant articles were reviewed, synthesizing 27 distinct maturity models. The articles were subjected to inductive analysis, through which the dimensions of maturity models were extracted and synthesized into a comprehensive digital maturity framework. The findings revealed a digital maturity framework consisting of seven dimensions: strategy, information technology capabilities, interoperability, governance and management, patient-centered care, human resource skills and behaviors, and data analytics. Each of these seven dimensions can be assessed through 24 specific indicators. The study concludes that the proposed digital maturity framework can serve as an evaluative tool for assessing hospital digital maturity and identifying critical areas for improvement.

Abstract

Background: Climate change is an inevitable consequence of inadequate environmental protection. Strengthening gender roles and functions offers a strategic approach to mitigating its impacts. Objective: This study aims to explore environmental management practices at the micro level through a gender-based perspective. Enhancing the role of gender in addressing climate change can be achieved by improving knowledge and awareness of environmental issues and their associated impacts. The consequences of climate change on public health are frequently observed, particularly through drought, reduced food availability, and limited access to clean water. Methods: This study employs a qualitative research design to gain a holistic understanding of the phenomena experienced by the research subjects. The participants in this study, referred to as informants, were selected to represent diverse perspectives within the community. Results: The primary informants in this study consisted of women and community leaders, while supporting informants included members of the Banyumas Regency community. The community's actions extend beyond environmental protection, encompassing both individual and collective efforts in environmental management. Strengthening gender roles within families demonstrates the shared responsibilities of parents, children, and other community members in fostering environmental stewardship. Effective climate change mitigation is supported by the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as systematic models and processes for environmental management and control. Addressing public and environmental health issues remains a critical priority to prevent the widespread impacts of climate-related challenges. Conclusion: Family engagement plays a pivotal role in enhancing knowledge, attitudes, and practices that contribute to climate change mitigation, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts at the household and community levels. Keywords: climate; environment; health; community; management

Abstract

This study discusses the effectiveness of the implementation of Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019, as amended by Supreme Court Regulation Number 7 of 2022, concerning Case Administration and Trials in Courts Electronically (e-Litigation). The research focuses on case settlement at the Malang City Religious Court. Using an empirical juridical approach, this study examines the implementation of e-Litigation before and after the regulatory changes, along with the obstacles encountered and efforts made for improvement. The findings indicate that the implementation of e-Litigation has had a positive impact by simplifying processes, improving time efficiency, reducing litigation costs, and enhancing transparency. However, challenges such as limited public understanding of digital systems, inadequate infrastructure, and legal cultural barriers still hinder full effectiveness. Based on the theory of legal effectiveness, the implementation of e-Litigation in Malang City shows a promising direction of development, although it is not yet fully optimal. Strengthening public education, increasing digital legal literacy, and adapting community legal culture are necessary to ensure that the system can operate more efficiently and accountably.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differences in growing places altitude on the diversity of biochemical characters (glucose, vitamin C, and folic acid) of three banana cultivars (Musa acuminata (AAA)/ambon, Musa balbisiana (BBB)/kepok, and Musa paradisiaca (AAB)/raja) grown in Boyolali Regency. The study was conducted at three growing places altitudes: Kemusu (123 masl), Musuk (667 masl), and Gladagsari (806 masl). Biochemical content data were tested quantitatively using UV-Vis spectrophotometry and a refractometer, with five replications per location, then analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed significant variation between cultivars and locations in terms of vitamin C and folic acid levels, with the Musa balbisiana (BBB)/kepok cultivar in Musuk having the highest vitamin C content. Furthermore, environmental factors such as light intensity and temperature significantly influenced the variation in biochemical content. This study strengthens the understanding of the interaction between genotype and environmental factors (G × E interaction) in shaping the nutritional quality of bananas. In conclusion, the selection of appropriate cultivars and planting locations can optimize the nutritional value of bananas.

Abstract

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) as one of the faculties at the University of Lampung has many trees that produce organic waste in the form of leaf litter every day, and this is very potential to be used as a substrate for compost. Compost is the final substance of a fermentation process of piles of waste/plant litter and sometimes also includes animal carcasses. In the open, compost can occur on its own, through natural processes. However, the process takes a long time while the need for fertile soil is urgent. Therefore, the process needs to be accelerated with the help of microorganisms. This community service activity is a form of application of science and technology by inducing leaf debris as compost material with saprotroph fungi inoculum. Saprotroph fungi isolates are very potential to be developed into composting inoculum in making organic fertilizers. Compost induced with this fungal inoculum is expected to produce organic fertilizer relatively quickly and contain high plant nutrients. The results of the Community Service showed quite good results, namely an increase of about 88.4% from the initial understanding. This is quite interesting because the initial understanding of compost and inoculum was relatively low at 25.04%. After the explanation given by the Community Service team, it was able to be understood by the target audience well so that their understanding increased to 63, 6%.
